Inventive tacos and Hispanic adjacent fare in modern digs with an impressive tequila/mezcal spread. The whipped cotija with honey was the highlight of the meal. Just an interesting mix of flavors with some fancy cut vegetables. Of the tacos, the barbacoa was the weakest, tasting a bit overcooked and without enough of the kimchi to make a noticable impact to the taste. The pork belly taco was great; I'll definitely order that again. The special, a seared ahi taco with a pineapple slaw of some sort on top, was delightful. My partner went with the brunch menu chilequiles. It came with chicken tinga, a red sauce, a spicy orange one, and a couple eggs. Well executed, and a good value for the money. I'll be back on a Tuesday for the specials, or make a late night stop for the late night specials some time soon.

Google
Yeah! I must admit, I ordered the Tinga chips with the expectation that the chicken would be dry, which is a bit of a letdown considering I’ve lived in Denver for quite some time now. But to my surprise, the chicken was actually quite moist and flavorful. We also ordered a few other tacos, and they had an impressive selection of different flavors to choose from. Overall, the tacos were delicious, and I highly recommend visiting them for Taco Tuesday. They offer great deals, and the service was exceptional. I particularly enjoyed the shared tip pool system, as it showed that the staff worked as a team to provide excellent service.

Google
Best taco and margs in Uptown! I can't pick a favorite taco, because they've all been so good. A fantastic Tuesday taco spot, not only for the food and atmosphere, but you'll be pleasantly surprised by the bill as well 🤗

Google
Next level tacos. Authentic salsas. Margaritas poured with house made ingredients. Delicious vegetarian options. Check out their happy hour 3-6pm, cheap prices for what you get including $5 drinks. In a city full of great Mexican food, this place is top tier for tacos and margaritas. Friendly staff in a welcoming environment with a western design. Highly recommend!!

Google
Love this place! Come during happy hour and get the poke bites! Sydney and Bryan are the best bartenders and always take great care of us! House margs are great. Tacos are always on point.

Google
Margaritas were excellent. Tacos were meh. Creative ideas, but the flavors werent very cohesive with the salsas that they provide, and a lot of the tacos were unexpectedly sweet. Would not recommend the chicken tinga tacos. Would recommend the crunchy beef taco, the pork belly taco, and the asada taco.

Alicia R

Google
Sydney and Brian are fantastic. We’ve been coming since before Covid and it never fails that we love our interaction with the bar tenders and their spicy margs are the best in the state and we’ve been in a mission since discovering them to find something similar. Check it out!

Google
The service is excellent and quick! Food and ambience are averege. The Guacamole for example came cold as if straight from the fridge and the room itself had AC/cold air on in winter. There's a good variety of Tacos and drinks. Pricing is fair. Overall worth checking out but no fave for my taste.

Yelp
This spot is a treasure! I dined here with relatives and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The music was upbeat (a bit on the louder side for conversation) and set the tone for a fun ambiance. The service was top-notch: friendly, enthusiastic, and prompt. The menu displayed an eclectic array of tacos and various other Mexican dishes. Among the three of us, each person tried 2-3 different tacos and they were all flavorful and aesthetically appealing. I'd like to come back for the all day happy hour or taco Tuesday!

Yelp
Great service and the food was tasty. I was a little put off by the very low lighting. Had to use my phone flashlight to see the small letters on the menus. That said I am familiar with their menu. I brought my daughter for the first time and we ordered the flight of margaritas! Because it was her first time there the waitress brought us a taste of the basil margarita too! We had the taquitos and chips and salsa to go with the margs. We decided then to just get a couple tacos. I got the fish and she order one of my favorite...Chicken tinga taco and the beer battered shrimp taco. Like the fish taco it has habanero and a kick! She was happy and I look like a cool mom!

Yelp
Love this little gem in Uptown! Great Mexican ambiance with great food and even better drinks; happy hour specials are amazing! Kitchen Manager Jhonattan has some amazing skills in the kitchen and his staff is great!

Yelp
Cute little spot. Burrito bowl was a surprise of flavors; the added barbacoa had an Asian inspired flavor which was unexpected. The service was good. They weren't busy since we arrived fairly soon after they opened on Sunday. The Mahi taco was delish, the chicken was actually mediocre. I think the tacos were a smidge overpriced but that's just me.

Yelp
Great place for tacos with friends. I enjoyed their Hibiscus Limeade with the steak taco and eskites (street corn). We were able to be seated quickly with a group of 8, and the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Kristina R.

Yelp
The tacos were delicious. We had the steak, beer battered shrimp, & pork. We started with the chips & salsa which was a little disappointing because neither salsas they came with had any spice. Also had a house marg & ranch water which were great. The biggest let down was the no rice or beans on the menu. :( overall good food but not good enough to come back.

Yelp
Well came here in a Sunday at 240PM. The time is important as they were not too busy and we were seated. It took about 10 minutes for anyone to take our drink order and an app. Well they have happy hour at 3 pm. Waitress came and told us she would put order in at 3 pm. Well 320 pm we got appetizer gets there but no drinks, we asked but she was confused took another 15 minutes to get our drinks, at this point we decided we were not staying, of course drinks come. We throw them down ask for check and it was literally thrown to us on table. Was thinking of moving down here and was looking at places but this left a bad taste and hoping this is not a reflection of Castle Rock! Ambiance as alright

Yelp
We love Dos Santos! They have great happy hour deals and specialty cocktails to try. I definitely recommend the birria quesadilla

Yelp
Really great vibe and fun place to meet up with people/friends! Awesome HH 3-6pm along with daily specials that run from open to close; check their websites for what's currently happening.

Yelp
Can I just say when I want a Spicy Margarita, they have it down pat. Perfection and not too spicy even with the jalapeño in it. My favorite taco is the OMFG and their happy hour is very good. Should give it a try
google avatar

Blake H.

Yelp
The service and quality of food is always stellar at Dos Santos. Our margaritas were very good and our tacos were very flavorful. We sat outside which was perfect even when it was warm. I'd definitely recommend this place. The only drawbacks are the price of food (even with happy hour) the bill adds up quick and they don't allow dogs in the outside area . We had to keep the dog on the outside of the gate.

Yelp
Came here on a Tuesday for dinner. The staff were very attentive, and we were seated very quickly. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available. The drinks were great and super strong. The food is what you would expect. Not traditional Mexican food and nothing special or stand out about this place, but it was fine. I did take one star off because they were out of almost everything. Except to pay around 40-50$ per person for a few tacos and two drinks. I wouldn't come out of my way to come here but it was an okay spot. Overall 3.5/5
google avatar

Yelp
I had lunch at Dos Santos today. The service was friendly and the food was fine. My check for two small tacos and a house margarita was almost $30.00. And they charged me a credit card processing fee, even though they had no idea how I was going to pay. Denver restaurants have lost their collective minds with the fees and they need to know diners resent the fees and it reflects poorly on the restaurant. We'll dine somewhere else in the neighborhood going forward.

Yelp
Aside from the chips and salsa, this place is not good. The waiters seem inconvenienced just by doing their job. The tacos are overpriced and don't taste good. $50 for 6 tacos. Vibe is OK except for the poor service.
google avatar

James H.

Yelp
The beer battered fish tacos are great with a spicy margarita. Just saying. It's my go-to place and I'm never disappointed.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious tacos and we sat outside which was amazing. The staff was nice as well. Great spot
google avatar

Yelp
Very friendly team members, great tacos and beers. The ceviche was fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend

Yelp
Came here for happy hour, and they have some great options on the happy hour menu! The poke bites are delicious and the chicken tinga nachos are a great choice as well. They both are a great value for the price. We also ordered a few tacos off of their regular menu, and they weren't bad, but weren't amazing. I wouldn't go back for the regular food items personally, but highly recommend happy hour!
google avatar

Sehjal A.

Yelp
Loved doing happy hour and taco Tuesday at dos santos! We really enjoyed the inside ambiance and decor. Definitely try the tinga chips and the roasted cauliflower taco (not pictured). Dessert wasn't great, can definitely skip.
google avatar

Michael G.

Yelp
They have pretty good Mexican food. During the day they have a brunch menu instead of the standard food menu.

Yelp
Dos santos was legit! Stopped by here while in Denver and am glad we did! Appetizer Guac was great, a little small. The tacos were AMAZING! The service was solid and everyone was very friendly. The place itself was a little small so I could see it getting crowded on a busy weekend, but overall it was comfortable and a cool place to chill. Give it a try and stop by. If you're a big eater plan to spend a decent amount, the tacos are in the $4-7 range each and are "street taco" sized.

Yelp
Just a couple blocks from us in the Capitol Hill area of Denver is this wonderful little restaurant called Dos Santos, the two saints. We stopped in last night for the first time and was treated to a really delicious ceviche, tuna, tostada, and spicy margarita. This place is fabulous, they have a wide selection of tequilas and it is a happy place in the summer. Put this on your list for your next visit to Denver.
google avatar

Brian B.

Yelp
I just had one of the bed lunches I've ever had today at dos santos. I had a variety of tacos and all of them too notch. The bar tender named Brian killed it, even chopping me some fresh habanero peppers by request. Big kudos to dos santos for changing your music to chill electronic, feels so much more cozy than the rap that was playing lady time I came. keep up great work dos santos.

Yelp
In an emoji: Came here for a girls dinner on a Friday. Not too long of a wait for outdoor patio seats, which was sweet. Our server, Taylor, started off friendly enough. She messed up our order and when we pointed it out, got defensive and asked if we wanted the wrong taco on our bill (um, no?). Brought us what we ordered and said the bill would say 2 bang bang shrimp and 1 porky but they were the same price. Turns out, they weren't the same price. The wrong one she kept on cost more (shady move). We ordered 4 house tequilas on the rocks. In normal establishments, ice does not cost extra. While looking over our bill, we noticed we were charged an extra $2 per drink for "ice". When asking Taylor, she got huffy, snatched the receipt from us, and stormed off. Her manager returned, saying they charge extra $ for ice because the drinks also have .5 extra ounces in them. I'm sorry, what? It's one thing to charge more $ for more booze, but factor that into your price, don't make an "ice" upcharge and more importantly DISCLOSE that information! Tell me what I'm getting (fyi this was not on the menu) and if it's more than usual. As someone who was driving home, this is crucial to know and could be extremely dangerous. We got the bill settled and Taylor was extremely unpleasant until we left. Now, tacos. The mushroom taco was the best I've had and if ever forced to come here again, would make the experiment worth it. The beer battered mahi mahi taco was honestly, pretty bad. Really disappointing experience.

Yelp
I've come here for lunch and it's been good but then accidentally went for brunch a couple of weeks ago - super overpriced (even for Denver). Ordered huevos rancheros which is really just a plate of sauce tbh. I asked for hot sauce and was charged 1.50 ... at a "Mexican" restaurant, asking for hot sauce is a norm, why the heck would they charge extra and also not mention it. Don't bother getting it, it's not hot. This place totally nickel and dimes you, Someone else mentioned a credit card fee, even if you pay with cash, you have to ASK THEM to remove it. This should be illegal, why would this already be on the bill, it's the cost of owning a business and these prices should include the fee. Save yourself the waste of money, go across the street to Olive and Finch or down two blocks to the coffee shop, or just burn a twenty dollar bill if you need to get food during their brunch hours.
google avatar

Rachel H.

Yelp
The food was good. Nothing special for hipster tacos. Places like this are a dime a dozen in denver. I got 3 tacos, $25 w/tip. Eh. Mediocre and over priced.
google avatar

Jennifer W.

Yelp
Margaritas are consistently good, made the way I prefer. Server was very kind. The food was great too. HH is the ideal time to go if you don't want to have a huge bill.
google avatar

Chandler F.

Yelp
This is my favorite margarita in Denver. The food has always been good and the service is always speedy. The restaurant can get a bit loud in the evenings, but it's a fun atmosphere and the patio is a vibe.

Camillie L.

Yelp
Tacos are amazing! I've tried most of them, you can't go wrong! Service is great staff is friendly and attentive. The ambiance is inviting, with the dim lighting, they have outside seating available and the bar of course.
google avatar

Adrian W.

Yelp
Get a better POS system! Ridiculous you can't break a check up! Not coming back if you all can't handle something so simple! On another note Food was good!

Yelp
So we came here to grab a bite on Sunday during Pride weekend- I knew it'd be busy like everything was in the area. I was looking forward to all the different options, the place has a cool vibe and fun atmosphere but unfortunately the service was really lacking and the food was just okay. We ordered the salsa flight and guacamole as appetizers and a big array of tacos between our party. The salsas were great but the guacamole was served on top of a bed of chips, giving the illusion of a nice fat bowl of guacamole when it was maybe only 3/4 of a cup of actual guac. The salsas and guac were served with a really small amount of chips which were gone pretty quick - with no staff in sight to bring more, eventually we did get more but by that time our tacos had finally arrived. They serve them family style, all on planks of wood or big round platters - it looks great but the tables are small, so while the aesthetic is nice, you literally have no room at your table. I chose the taco of the month (Mahi) and the beer battered shrimp taco - both were okay. The Mahi was a nice chunk of fish, but lacked flavor, and the shrimp taco was mostly batter. We also ordered the steak quesadilla, a piece of it got dropped on the floor when they were bringing it to the table & it took a long time to get it replaced. Overall, the staff seemed confused and overwhelmed. A disappointing food/service experience but it is a nice location, so I'd like to give the benefit of thinking it was just an off day, but I doubt I'll be back to test the theory.

Yelp
The service, the food, the ambience! Everything was absolutely amazing. We had an amazing waitress Sydney/Sidney who made us feel welcomed and took amazing care of us. We enjoyed ourselves and stayed for a couple hours due to the great hospitality, food, and atmosphere! We definitely will be back (:

Yelp
Dos Santos is where it's at!!! Love love love their food and margs. The only thing that is a bummer is that you cannot order all of their items for delivery. The birria tinga is by far the best and cannot have it delivered. Monday happy hour is where it's at!! Wu Tang Wed is by far the best idea ever!!

Shari S.

Yelp
We wandered in from out of town and loved everything about this place. The food was scrumptious, server was attentive and the vibe was upbeat and fun. Will return on our next trip!
google avatar

Anders Christofer C.

Yelp
Cinco de mayo at Dos Santos. Awesome weather and good tacos. I haven't got the tacos yet but ordered to shrimp and one hard shell. Will update asap.
google avatar

Thomas G.

Yelp
What happened to their margs? Went from one of my favorite margs in the state to the worst. Tacos were always fine, not the best, not the worst...but I went for the margs and ambiance. Will not be going back.
google avatar

Nicole S.

Yelp
Stopped by Dos Santos on a Friday for happy hour and had a blast! The happy hour food menu isn't that special but the vibes, drinks and food was sooo good! I had the basil limade but didn't love it so I switched to the house marg with a tajin rim and it was delicious! We ordered the tuna poke bites (tiny happy hour bites) which were tasty but not filling. I had two beer battered shrimp tacos and they were my favorite! My guest ordered a steak and a beer battered fish taco, and really enjoyed the steak but not the fish (compared to the shrimp especially). I would come back here for happy hour or anytime for good margs and tacos!

Beth J.

Yelp
Lovely waitress Excellent tacos. Especially enjoyed governors shrimp. What they said was flan was not flan. It was a creamy pudding. Very good but not flan
google avatar

Matt A.

Yelp
Service and food were good. The scene was lively. We had a couple margs and tacos recommended by our server.
google avatar

Dillon P.

Yelp
Manager working 6/6/24 was not helpful at all. Had an issue with your check and she cared less. Never came and even spoke to us. Server was super nice but wouldn't go back due to her.

Yelp
After searching for a fun patio to host our engagement party at we decided on Dos Santos. I'd personally never eaten here or sat on their patio. Only because we live in a different part of Denver now. Let me tell you...Dos Santos nailed my party of 50 people out on that patio in summertime. Nailed it. The patio space buy out was very reasonable and though we did go over it was only because I chose the Top Shelf Marg as my signature cocktail for the evening:) Here are the highlights of hosting our party there. 1) communication and flexibility. 2) they had multiple waitstaff servicing just us. This is a bigger deal then you'd think. We also had a bartender that was focused primarily on our group. 3) the food was excellent. Not at all compromised by the size of the group. 4) as the busy bride and hostess I can tell you I had to check in very little with them. They had it. That's worth it's weight in Gold. 5) the waitstaff was GOOD. Total pros. Not the young new kid they just hired. These were people that knew how to multitask and celebrate. I just can't say enough positive things about this. 6) the cocktails were gorgeous AND delicious. 7) all the other things I'm forgetting, they really couldn't have impressed me or my guests more. Side note: every one of the people at my party are in the high end service industry. We know good service when we receive it and we are not shy to celebrate it as it's become so terribly rare. Thank you, Dos Santos and all the staff that made our engagement party a smooth, celebratory, yummy success!

Yelp
I came here for Happy Hour with a friend this week where we were seated on the patio right away. The service was great. I ordered the Tinga chips and could not recommend them more- the perfect shareable plate for only $7. I loved the combo of flavors with the chicken, cheeses, and spices with a touch of lime. I'm not a big drinker so I got an iced tea and was pleased (just a standard black tea but I'm always surprised how often places can mess this up). I got the coconut shrimp taco (great), steak taco (ok -- the steak was a little tough), and the governor's shrimp taco (must try) - all were solid, overall. I'm looking forward to trying more of their menu in the future.

Yelp
Our family has visited Dos Santos multiple times and every time has been amazing! Recently, we had them cater our graduation party and it only solidified our loyalty to them. The catering coordinator was so easy to work with and made the whole ordering and hosting process for a large group so enjoyable. The food was absolutely fantastic - everyone couldn't get enough of the tacos, and we even have leftovers which is a huge bonus! I wholeheartedly endorse Dos Santos.
google avatar

Yelp
So if you haven't been, WTF are you waiting for?! Let's start with service, Carson is the bomb! You must ask for her section! She knows the menu and makes incredible recommendations. The food is incredible! Try the OMFG taco on crunchy corn. A must have. Love the setting so casual and chill. You better get her.
google avatar

Martin S.

Yelp
Dos Santos is phenomenal! Food is tasty and delicious! Service is awesome I've always had great service here! And the ambiance is so cool; always love coming down for just guac and drinks.

Renee V.

Yelp
Lovely mimosas, actually needed more juice but got a whole bottle of champagne. Food looked yummy, will come back with friend's, the place had a friendly vibe and good outdoor seating.
google avatar

Kenna P.

Yelp
You know I really want to like this place but it seems like every other time I go it sucks. I called to make a reservation and the guy who answered which seemed to be the manager said "oh no, you'll be fine tonight." Didn't take a reservation anyway and upon arrival it was packed. This same guy admitted that he was the one to tell me it would be fine, told us it would be a 45 min wait, shrugged his shoulders, in a "don't know what to tell you way." No apology, no let me figure it out. Just "oh well." And walked away. Where the EFF is the humanness or customer service?!!!!

Krystle R.

Yelp
I came here with my friends to have brunch and celebrate a birthday. Brunch was delicious. They have nice prices and options for their happy hour, brunch drinks and meals as well. Erica and Kayla def made our visit so much fun. The service was friendly and vibes were good. The hibiscus margarita is fire. Def come check this place out.
google avatar

Brittany R.

Yelp
Went here for lunch with some co-workers. The margaritas were strong, which is a plus. Go with the blood orange margarita if it's still on the menu. Tacos were a nice size, and had a good amount of filling
