Yelp
#fatjared say...definitely some good, and some not so great. Overall, for the area, a good spot to get tasty coffee, but for the city not in my top 10.
Coffee shops in Nashville are becoming a very competitive thing, and due to that I have been to ALOT of them. For my grading scale I always take the same approach also. 5 stars is perfect on Yelp, therefore you must deliver a perfect experience. 1 star is the lowest you can go, so you must be literally so bad that I can't find not 1 good thing to say. 3 stars is right in the middle, average.
Dose for me is right there. First off, due to location in a densely populated area, they do not have room enough for a better and bigger parking lot, and to find a place to park is extremely difficult. We spent a solid 15 minutes just waiting to park somewhere, only to get a spot that is labeled "15 minute parking only" terrible ROI.
The pastries looked amazing, and though we did not try any, presentation is huge for a coffee shop. My order, to keep judging consistent, is always a cold brew. The barista may have not been working long, but was not educated on the set up. She said it was a ntro, when in reality it is just from the tap.
The brew itself was good, not a very dark roast and not a punch you in the face flavor, but also not a top cold brew for the area. Lacked complexity in the flavor profile for me.
Overall, nothing truly bad to say, but nothing extraordinary either. As much negative as positive for me, and a true middle of the road shop for Nashville. I would come back with friends, but might make another suggestion before the final decision also.
