The 17 Best Restaurants in Gyeongju, South Korea - Eater
"An ancient stone wall surrounds this small hanok, which feels more like a family home than any sort of formal restaurant. This is true Korean homestyle cooking, where diners sit either inside or beneath a covered patio in the garden for a traditional Korean meal known as jungsik. A simple bowl of rice and soup is accompanied by an elaborate spread of banchan. Stop there, or splurge for the superb bulgogi or pajeon. [$$]" - Summer Sun-Min Lee
Food is good and price is reasonable. Unfortunately, the service isn't great. The lady owner isn't very friendly and it's pretty obvious she's only friendly to Causasian people.

I’ve been visiting this restaurant over 5 times since 2010. The taste of food is still great but I can’t say that the atmosphere is also good. (Because sometimes the overall mood is more important than the taste itself) I hope they realize what I mean.

The food was great, they had a lot of dishes that we could try. Even the kids that were in our group could eat. The atmosphere there was also very authentic and cool.

The food was top notch in traditional Korea surroundings. Everything was perfect and couldn't be faulted. Even the water provided was hot rice water, which was very welcome during the winter. Highly recommended, with the full course menu being a must.

Fantastic taste of Korea. Definitely reasonably priced. Greta variety of foods for a good price. The banchan (side dishes) were definitely the star of the meal. The location and atmosphere were uniquely Korean.

Loved the ambience of the traditional Korean house with a little pond in the small garden. 9,000 won for this kind of meal is definitely value for money. I enjoyed all the dishes and finished most of them with an extra bowl of rice!

Very delicious traditional korean food for very cheap price! Long wait to expect during weekends or holidays but it's definitely worth it. I've been there two times, in 2013 and 2017 and the quality haven't changed. There is also a good variety of traditional alcohols. It is in the heart of the traditional neighborhood in gyeongju with traditional looking korean houses all around. Don't go there of you're not really hungry because there are many different food coming up on the table. Basic price for a menu is 9000 wons!

Traditional Korean style dinner with a great traditional atmosphere.
Can choose between individual rooms placed around an outdoor atrium where one sits on the (heated) floor, or a more modern style sitting on chairs at a table.
Food was tasty, with a good selection of side dishes. Prices vary depending on what main dishes one orders, but our group ate and drank our fill and the bill came out to about 25k per person.
Would recommend. 👍
