The Best Vegan and Vegetarian Restaurants in Seattle | Eater Seattle

"We’re putting these doughnuts on the vegan map, but they’re among the city’s best doughnuts, period. What started as a food truck now includes storefronts in Capitol Hill, Ballard, and West Seattle as Dough Joy’s wild and colorful concoctions have taken Seattle by storm. Sure, one can still get a glazed old-fashioned, but this is a donut shop for adventurous palates. The menu changes constantly, but don’t be surprised to find flavors like birthday cake, everything bagel, mango con chile, or strawberry milkshake. The Pride donut is a year-round mainstay topped with edible rainbow glitter." - Sean Keeley

Google
Gluten-free vegan donut options that are actually amazing - heck yes! It’s so hard to find allergy-friendly treats that actually taste good, and I was so so happy when I tried these donuts. There was no wait when we got it, and got lucky with street parking so it was a fast trip. The gluten-free donuts do have a slightly sweet-corn taste, which was unexpected but actually really worked. I tried the strawberry, chocolate, and cherry option, and the strawberry was by far my favorite but they were all really good. They have seating so you could likely work from the donut shop. They also have coffee and tea, but heads up - the matcha isn’t ceremonial grade so I decided to skip it. I would absolutely go back again.

Google
Great options for donuts, super cute design, they have gluten free donuts now. I love the tiramisu and chocolate chip ones! The staff was super friendly and considerate of my dietary restrictions (gluten free). Would recommend the coffee and drinks as well.

Google
Such a cute donut and coffee shop!!!!! The doughnuts both regular and gluten free are equally delicious!!!!! Also tried their London Fog tea

Google
Just came to this shop because I’m gluten free and they were closed, but they saw us walk up to the door and just opened it and handed us a DOZEN free doughnuts! So rare in these capitalist times to find such sweet folks, and they even gave me a bag of gluten free doughnuts also!!?? So so kind and the doughnuts were delish. Can’t wait to come back here and get a matcha to sip with my GF maple doughnut 🥹

Google
The doughnuts were great! I was welcomed by very nice staff, who walked me through their options. They had inventive flavors, too. I liked the key lime pie and blueberry fritter a lot. I was sad there were no cake donuts when I showed twice, but I’m glad I went.

Google
The donuts are massive. Pillowy. Generous with toppings. The savory everything could have more spiced cream cheese ... and man.... it's expensive... but overall, I Pillows. Staff 10/10... no notes.

Google
My new favorite spot! The doughnuts are so fresh and delicious, the staff are always friendly, helpful and just great energy. I've been to the West Seattle, Ballard and Cap Hill locations, all are designed so cute and so queer, this place is a hit for me. Favorite donuts right now: chocoholic, glazed and the cinnamon sugar cake donut holes

Yelp
I love donuts, but I've always been a bit leery of vegan food...that is, until I tried these donuts! They are yummy! A friend and I stopped in on Sunday afternoon, but were super disappointed to find that they had already closed. One of the women working there, who was super nice, gave us some donuts to go, probably because they are closed on Monday and Tuesday. We were so surprised and thankful for her generosity. We shared the donuts with friends and we all agreed that they were delicious. I will definitely stop back in on my next visit to Seattle.

Yelp
Visiting Dough Joy was joyful indeed. I tried their new special Mango Tajin donut. It has a cake base with mango flavoring on top and it's sprinkled with Tajin. The combination was very yummy. I also got the Caramelatto coffee. The service was very quick. The servers also gave us a couple of cake pops with the coffee. The place has a very relaxing vibe and fun music. It's also located conveniently close to the West Seattle Farmers Market if you're visiting that.

Yelp
The doughnuts were okay. The doughnuts are cute and the flavors are fun but taste-wise. They are just average. I went early in the morning to buy them and they were kinda dry. So I don't know if that's how they're supposed to be with it being vegan, or if they had just been out for too long? Idk. All the workers were kind though, so I'm appreciative of that.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick sweet treat. Ambiance - nice and colorful with donuts to match, it's actually connected to a plant store that has all the seating. You can enjoy your coffee and donut as well as shop for some household plants! Service - people taking our order were really friendly and explained what a lot of the flavors were. Food - I normally don't focus on the drinks but the pistachio latte was delicious! Best I've had forsure, plus each coffee came with a donut hole to get you started. Donuts were solid, moist (worse thing is a dry donut).

Yelp
Vegan doughnuts!! Vegan lattes! A variety of glazed and cake donuts all vegan ! You don't even have to be vegan. These are just straight up amazing donuts. I highly recommend all of their glazed cake. I love cake donuts, but I don't think that's the strong suit. Go with the glazed because they are delicious!!! I really enjoyed the French toast and the strawberry Matcha ! I've tried everything bagel donuts, but not a fan of the cream cheese. IMO. The coffees are good the lattes are great, super creamy! They also offer a wide variety of fun teas & boutique coffees blends. Service is great! Indoor & outdoor seating options too! Cute plant cafe vibes!

Yelp
The aesthetic of the shop and the little details are amazing and the service is so friendly and easy going. I really enjoy the selection of donuts they have. Love the rise on the donuts and they're nice and fluffy Top favorites: lemon lavender, apple fritter, maple bar, chocolate churro old fashion Too sweet for me: french toast, vanilla biscoff, everything but the bagel (too much glaze for a sweet/savory combo

Yelp
We went out of our way to go here since they have started carrying a variety of GF doughnuts. We arrived at the Capital Hill location around 4pm on a Sat and they still had plenty of GF and regular. They were not out of any which is crazy for a donut shop!! This really is the only donut shop in the area that offers more than one flavor of GF donut. They have 6 and have them at both locations. The photo shows the size (small like palm of your hand) and flavors. They are very good flavor-wise and texture-wise. I do recommend trying them all since I was surprised with what I enjoyed the most (tiramisu which I don't typically like). The regular donuts have an amazing cake texture and are very big and thick. The only difference between all of them is the topping / flavor - the base is the same. They are perfectly flavored. Not too sweet like most. We bought 6 different kinds then cut them up so everyone could try each donut. Highly recommend this method. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back!! (And everything there is vegan which you would never know flavor or texture-wise)

Yelp
I loved Dough Joy donuts very much before I developed a gluten sensitivity. It's one of the things I missed most! So you can imagine my joy when I saw their gluten-free announcement. And the carrot cake GF donut DID NOT disappoint!!! It was available for walk-in customers (January 2024), and the cashier mentioned they'll add more flavors in a couple weeks. Their GF donuts are moist inside and delicious all over. It was totally worth the wait because they really nailed their recipe. Thank you, Dough Joy!!!!

Yelp
OMG, I've heard such great things about Dough Joy that I'm so happy I finally got to experience these delectable donuts on my recent trip to Seattle. And honestly, who cares that these are 'vegan'? Not having any animal products in the dish doesn't necessarily mean it's not delicious. Make sure you look out for an online coupon before coming! I managed to find a deal that was 4 doughnuts and 2 drinks for $20, which saved me a pretty penny when it comes to having all these treats. There were some rockstar standouts including their Bavarian Cream (vanilla cream filled and topped with chocolate icing) and their Turtle Cheesecake (another chocolatey, savory donut). They rotate weekly specials so I hope you get to try these two. For our drinks, we got a Lavender Latte and a Pink Powerpuff. Both drinks really hit the spot and fit their entire look and feel. It even came with a small donut hole that went through the straw - super cute! Shoutout to their Pride Donut because it was filled with glitter and I was living for the aesthetics.

Yelp
Cute little shop, with a good variety of choices. Really appreciate the bite sized options as well. Service was friendly and patient (which is nice when trying to decide what to buy!)

Yelp
I'm not Homer Simpson, but I love donuts. I come from a generation when every city had several donut shops. It could be that grocery store bakeries put an end to donut shops, but I like a regular glazed or maple bar. The website for this place is impressive. However, the physical footprint was easy to miss and much smaller. Their sign is hard to see and blocked by other objects. They either need a lighted sign or something far brighter than that light pink that blends into the faded concrete. We drover around the block twice, because the sign was not clearly visible. Since GPS said the building was there, we park and walked around the corner and only then was the shop visible. I was interested in the French Toast donut. I envisioned a French toast batter with maple icing. But it was just a donut with Maple icing with cinnamon and powdered sugar. I honestly had to laugh, because I used to make pancakes for my girlfriend and her choice was Honey Almond or Almond Maple. It was just pancake batter with almond slivers in the batter, then your choice was Maple Syrup or Honey to go on top. It was a joke between use, but this was the same thing. They are common donuts with fascinating names, and a splash of character, in my case, cinnamon and powdered sugar. Truth be told, I like Krispy Kreme's Maple Glazed way better, but this was a big, dare I say heavy donut, so despite it's $4 ticket, you are getting something that will fill your belly and unlike Top Pot, that just weighs you down with heavy bread, these taste better than that. My favorite part was the cash discount. It's so easy to pay with a device or card and 99% of the time I do, but paying cash brought the price down from $4 to $3. I would pay cash for everything, if people offered a discount. Penalties and fees are crazy just like Ticketmaster, I wish these companies would get the message, we are on to you. Since almost everything is virtual these days, I think these fees should be smaller. Then again, I come from a time you could use any ATM, now, if it's not your bank, you are going to be hit with fees to use an ATM and what if you have a local bank and you aren't local. Not the best donut I've had, but I recommend you check them out and with that cash discount, you may find they are cheaper than the competition.

Yelp
We were visiting family in Seattle and they took us to Dough Joy on our first morning. I had the S'mores donut and it may be the best donut I've ever had! The iced mocha was delicious too, and came with a little donut hole on top. They were remodeling the inside, but still had plenty of seating and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I wish I lived closer because it would be a regular stop, definitely check it out!

Yelp
To be totally honest, doughnuts are rarely my treat of choice. However, when I make the trek over to Alki Beach, I always make a pit stop at Dough Joy. Their doughnuts are so delicious. You would truly never know that they are vegan, as everyone else has said. I always like trying the different flavors (and they're constantly coming out with new fun seasonal flavors!). I love supporting vegan businesses and Dough Joy is amazing. Today I got the lemon filled doughnut as I'm obsessed with lemon and ...10/10. Fantastic. The shop is also connected to an adorable plant store. The two employees working today when I was there were just the most lovely humans. Big fan!

Yelp
Great spot! Delicious, cute, vegan! Staff is always super friendly and helpful. Doughnuts are soft and wonderfully flavored. Thought and care clearly went into these.

Yelp
I'm not vegan and I hate to say it, but I am generally skeptical of vegan baked goods, but if I didn't know beforehand I never would have guessed Dough Joy was vegan. I went twice in one week because I'm in a love affair with donuts. I really like the space and the attached Botanic at the Disco nursery. The donuts here are somehow extremely fluffy and delicious, but I would stick with the more basic flavors, as the adventurous flavors were a little overly sweet. I tried the cinnamon sugar, butterscotch maple, and raspberry filled donuts and favorite was definitely the cinnamon sugar.

Yelp
My wife and I both LOVE Dough Joy. Their doughnuts are absolutely delicious! We are both vegan so it's so good to have a plant based doughnut shop right around the corner from us in West Seattle. There is usually a long line, especially on weekends, but I don't mind. I will always support small business over large business. The employees are all very friendly and kind and helpful. I am not sure why there are reviews complaining about pricing. First off, they are vegan, and unfortunately, being vegan and buying vegan products is not cheap. Secondly, they work to pay their staff a livable wage and benefits. In Seattle, that isn't easy. Running a business in Seattle is expensive. Give them a break. They are not a big corporate chain. The pricing is clearly labeled and if it's too expensive for someone, then they don't have to go there or they can just excuse themselves and walk out the door. If someone is unable to see or read the pricing, just ask the staff. They will gladly assist you. Thank you Dough Joy for your awesome doughnuts! I am a trans queer person who proudly supports a LGBTQ+ owned small business like Dough Joy!

Yelp
This is a review of the gluten-free donuts, which were overly dry the first visit and better but just okay the second try on another day. Does this location bake its own batches? I am a confused about the big variations in quality across locations and times, as the gluten-free donuts at the Capitol Hill location a couple months ago were delicious when the last couple of visits to this location have been just OK.

Yelp
Service = 5 stars Beverages that come with a donut hole = 5 stars Donuts = alllll the stars I had the vanilla biscoff because I just couldn't make a decision between all of the tempting flavors. I didn't regret it all. It was so good!!
google avatar

Yelp
All VEGAN donut shop. I will start off and say I'm not a huge donut person. This spot makes vegan raised donuts with a dense heavy dough and comes in a variety of fun, creative flavors. They are sizeable and decorated nicely. We got a half dozen donuts ($4 each) and chose a variety of flavors like Lemon Poppy Seed, Everything But the Bagel, Cold Brew Caramelatto, Cookies and Cream. Also got a Cappuccino ($4.5). The donut holes on top are so cute! I would personally go somewhere else for espresso drinks. They aren't up to par with nearby coffee shops (no micro-foam, bitter espresso).

Yelp
I LOVE THIS PLACE!! The donuts are amazing. Better than non-vegan ones. The flavors are so great and novel. Service is A++ and the vibes are so great. I need to stay away because of how many donuts I eat without feeling gross 10/10

Yelp
I am new to West Seattle so I've been looking for new places to frequent. After a search on Yelp for donuts I decided to try Dough Joy. This is a super cute spot that maximizes the small space that they have. Their donuts all look amazing, they're super colorful and the flavors all sound fantastic. I decided to try the cookies and cream and a hot white chocolate coffee. The coffee came with an adorable donut hole, which was fantastic. That was the best donut hole I've ever had. The white chocolate coffee was delicious, not too sweet but also super smooth. The donut is honestly one of the best I've ever had. It's got the perfect amount of not only density but fluff (I'm a raised donut fan). The icing and cookie crumbles were also great. I didn't even realize that it was a vegan donut until I came to write this review. This was the first vegan donut I've ever had and I'll come back to eventually try as many as I can. Also the service was awesome, both of the staff who were there were personable and nice. It was an all-around great experience.

Yelp
Two people stopped me on the street to ask where I got my drinks when I was walking the block from Dough Joy back to my car - proof that putting a donut ball on the straw is the most genius marketing move ever. Not that they need it. All their donuts have great flavors, are soft and fluffy, AND they are vegan. The flavors are like voodoo donut in that they are a bit non traditional and off the wall, but they are not like voodoo donut in that they pay attention to how spices and ingredients blend together rather than just putting something together for the novelty of it. And this store is attached to a plant store called Botanic at the Disco that you can eat in - how fun is that?

Yelp
Plants and donuts!! Sold, doesn't take much for you to twist my arm when it comes to donuts. I went in here knowing these donuts were plant base and I'm lost, are you kidding me. We got the strawberry lemonade, French toast, vanilla bar, apple cinny fritter and it was sure a treat! Grab a tall glass of milk with a delicious cup of drip coffee and you're set. Oh, you want to get a drink also, sure knock your socks off, you even get a donut on the straw, um hello that's a walking conversation for marketing- love it. No one else is doing it and those little gestures will bring back the patrons! We stood in a semi long line that was swift, before we knew it's time to pick. We just glazed ( you see what I did..) at the donut options and just had to pick, with little to no influence on my decision I got what my taste buds wanted. The most flavorful - strawberry lemonade was indeed that, it made your taste buds hit the sides of your mouth and just fill with water - probably the lemon. The French toast is going to be my favorite for now, it was perfection sweet, not over whelming and hello its healthy, OK its still a donut, but like soooo good. The vanilla bar was simply delicious it was sea salt and vanilla and WOW perfect - might be the safest for those vanilla and chocolate lovers. It's just a plainer donut than most, so everyone can come and check it out, I know I was blown away. OK, the best part, the plant store next door, the experience is all you need, if you take home 5 plants, its OK too. The layout the lights, and the pretty plants and pretty decent prices will defiantly entice you to buy a few. You had a donut, its OK to get a few more plants, you get my permission for sure... Hope you enjoy, try to go the day of the west seattle farmers market its perfect and its all walking distance. There is street parking and some parking lots around there but this is the happening spot everyone is talking about. Glad I found it.

Yelp
Just absolutely delightful First time there and was greeted with the sweetest and friendliest smile from someone who had an English accent. I got the tiramisu donut and the biscoff donut, and OMG heaven set in. Good thing I don't have a crazy sweet tooth, or I'd be in trouble. But the flavors...so good. Absolutely worth every penny Not to mention the very quaint interior
google avatar

Yelp
I literally cannot believe these donuts are vegan. It was giving edible cloud. The donuts are DELICIOUS ...and I know it's Cliche but I can't believe they are vegan. The owners Sean & Christopher and charming and delightful. We love it. I'm here for it all. Oh...and it's SUPER kid friendly which is such an added bonus! My daughter loved the strawberry milkshake donut and had been asking to go back since!

Yelp
A small shop offering chewy tasty doughnuts that are a must have. Doughnuts are pretty big. Nice display with names and price of doughnuts. Bought a dozen to have with my coffee at home. Careful of the oil seeping thru the box. Couldn't finish the doughnuts but they were still soft even after two days. Drinks also available there. Friendly staff.

Yelp
Clear across town, the fellas' empire has brought to fruition café #3. In an old split space that used to be housed by 1 café/diner spot, Dough Joy (DJ) and Botanic! at the Disco (sister café) split the space by the wall opening. Their signature slick epoxy floor with pink swirly accents is a really neat touch. Pink of all shades is incorporated throughout but still overall you can feel a nice balance was struck with subtle unique details spread out around. Artsy text here, neon sign there, a pink coffee machine and big smiles. I don't have a sweet tooth but I get a small fix on occasion. Usually the cinny roll (aka their spin of a cinnamon roll), fritter, cookie butta, maple stuff & similar are usually my go-to's. Me dreaming: if they manage to finally get that good decaf coffee, I'd be happy to get my oat decaf latte fix in the future. Location is solid for many things to do near The Junction. Even more sweet is combining any farmer market trips during Sunday morning. The fellas really came through with an awesome trifecta of thoughtfully cool, vibrant & fun doughnut cafes that brim with happy staff and a couple of fun menu sides. Thumbs up!

Yelp
Dough Joy has the best donuts in Seattle in my opinion. I genuinely wouldn't have known/realized they were vegan except that they make it very obvious. I've gone to both the Cap Hill and West Seattle location, and I definitely prefer the West Seattle location. It is combined with an adorable plant shop. The ambiance for sitting and enjoying your donut inside is excellent. This location also just feels brighter and more cheery (though it could totally be the plants). The donuts themselves are incredibly fluffy. They are not cake donuts, but rather, yeast (although not sure if they use yeast because is yeast vegan???)/ fluffy donuts. Regardless of whether they actually yeast or not, these are the fluffiest donuts I have had, especially in Seattle. I've sampled a couple of flavors and the mileage definitely varies on the flavors, but I really enjoyed the lemon poppyseed and the churro. Both had great flavor and were the perfect level of sweetness for my palette. In general, I prefer the simpler flavors and thus found some of the crazier flavors to be too sweet or their flavor was too-intense/unexpected. I definitely see myself becoming a regular. One thing is for sure, I now have a go-to spot for birthday treats for my vegan friends!
google avatar

Traci J.

Yelp
The stars were aligned and there was a parking spot in front this morning so it was destiny that I get a donut. Apple Fritter or Maple Bar??? What spurts out of my mouth is Maple Fritter! WTH? Decided the frosting on the Maple Bar looked as good and thick as DeLite on Beacon Hill so I got that. I was not wrong. Everything about it was delicious and I first cut this bad boy in half. I know I'll go in for the other half within half an hour but I wouldn't want it to go stale. These donuts are vegan but are so delicious!!!! I don't k ow that I'd spring for a dozen because they're close to $5 a pop, but definitely hit this place up if you're in the neighborhood.

Bryan T.

Yelp
Tasty. Crazy-expensive. Which I suspect is probably fine for making such tasty donuts vegan. I'm just not in that target demographic so I don't go often. But if I were vegan this would be THE spot.

Yelp
Have you tasted Dough Joy? If you have been living under a rock for the past year, you might have missed the news that there's a new vegan donut shop in town called Dough Joy! They are a Seattle-based startup that opened in May of last year that focuses on selling to the evergrowing plant-based crowd. Over the past year, they have grown exponentially and recently opened a third location in West Seattle (which I visited). Foods I tried: -Cookies & Cream Donut -French Toast Donut -Lemon Poppyseed Donut -Pina Colada Donut -Strawberry Milkshake Donut -S'more Plz! Donut My Review: What a morning, clear skies and delicious donuts in my belly; you can't ask for a better way to wake up on the weekend! I heard some great things about Dough Joy and had to check it out, so we got there just as they opened. We ended up trying six different flavors, and after much consideration, we think our favorite flavor so far has to be lemon poppyseed. We can't wait to come back to try the rest! All the donuts we tried had distinct flavor profiles that made it easy to distinguish each donut flavor based on taste alone. I recommend that everyone should try this place, not just vegans!

Yelp
Dough Joy is a great addition to the Junction in West Seattle! I went on opening day and the line moved pretty fast with a long line out the door with one barista / one cashier working! You'd never know that the doughnuts are vegan. I tried the birthday cake and the churro flavored- churro was a little dry but birthday cake was on point! They had an Everything Bagel doughnut which was super tempting but will need to try on my next visit. The space is adorable, and the plant shop next door is the perfect hangout to enjoy your goodies and shop for additions to your plant collection. Thankful we now have doughnuts in close proximity to home here in WS!

Yelp
This place is magic! Do yourself a favor and go get one of their delicious doughnuts Customer service is top shelf as well! Highly recommend.

Yelp
I finally got an opportunity to try Dough Joy in West Seattle and I really enjoyed it! I accidentally kept going there on the wrong days/times. They are open Thursday - Sunday from 8 AM - 3 PM. We spent some time talking to one of the owners (Sean) and he was super cool and really nice. It is always great to see a small business owner who is very passionate about their products. I knew all of their doughnuts are vegan, but you can't really tell the difference so don't let that hold you back! They also use natural ingredients, so the bright blue for the Mariner's doughnut is not food coloring but from natural sources instead. Each doughnut is also a generous size! Dough Joy has quite a large selection of doughnuts to choose from and the menu rotates. They have classic things like a maple bar, but also really fun flavors like Everything But the Bagel, Pumpkin Spice, Strawberry Milkshake, and French Toast. They have a lot of great pictures of the donuts on their Instagram page. Next door they have a cute little shop called Botanic! at the Disco which sells house plants, pots, and merchandise. I will definitely be coming back and I would recommend this place to others!

Yelp
Nice atmosphere walking into shop. Doughnuts here are would highly recommend. Don't second guess, just visit here for some super tasty treats

Yelp
Dough Joy in West Seattle has exposed my greatest loves: doughnuts, baby pink decor, disco balls and plants. The doughnuts themselves are pillowy and melt with every bite. You have a great selection to choose from depending on your mood. I like to buy one for now, and one, or two or three for home. Of all the flavors I've tried so far, the "cookie butta" still haunts my taste buds. As well, they have a full coffee bar, in case you need a caffeine pick-me-up. The doughnut shop is connected to their vibrant plant shop, too, appropriately named Botanic At The Disco, which includes café tables you can enjoy. This is a fabulous addition to the neighborhood, and I caught one owner saying he is considering some late night hours! Count me in.

Yelp
It's criminal not to try this place especially when they don't charge an extra for using oat milk in your coffee. Starbucks, are you listening??!! The donuts are just so so so good. It's fresh and they melt in your mouth. Right from the delicious topping to the fluffy dough. Yummmm! For the donut, I tried the chocolicious and the caramel cold brew donut.

Yelp
I love doughnuts and West Seattle could definitely use some more doughnut spots! This is a very fresh cute addition. I went on a Sunday morning, and the line wasn't too bad. I ordered about a dozen dough and most of them were The doughnuts are vegan, but you cannot tell at all! They are great, delicious, and filling. They have a rotating menu with lots of unique and different options. Service was superb too! I wasn't a fan of the coffee, and the doughnut on top was all soggy by the time my husband went to eat it. Great place! Can't wait to go back
google avatar

Nitaya M.

Yelp
these donuts are not only pretty but delicious! so fluffy and great flavors - not to mention vegan!! love that they don't rely on that with their marketing, they're just all around good donuts no matter your dietary preference. the donuts are huge, fluffy, and have lots of unique flavors! will be back!

Yelp
This place.... Before this shop opened in West Seattle, there weren't any local donut shops in the area. This place also looks to be more vegan oriented. Such a cute shop on the outside, kind of hidden on the side of the street but I followed the little crowd and found them. They had about 12 flavors today, and it wasn't super busy on a Saturday morning at 9am (surprising!). 6 donuts for $30 made me blink but I wanted to try different flavors so went for it. I like how fluffy the donuts are. There is something almost tangy going on with the frosting that made me pause for a second, it probably has something to do with their different ingredients compared your regular grocery store donut. I liked them, but couldn't really tell a major difference between them and like Top Pot for instance so I'll probably just come back if someone else wants to go. Happy to have them in the area though! Definitely needed.

Yelp
I'm not sure why I haven't written a review of this place because I LOVE their donuts. These are the best vegan donuts I have ever had, which is why I try and get my hands on them at least once every two weeks or so. Light and fluffy and delicious - as opposed to the dense vegan hockey pucks that some other places offer. Staff is always friendly and warm - no matter which location you go to. As an added bonus, I love that this place is queer owned and that one can just saunter in and grab a Pride- themed edible-glitter donut. I can't speak to the gluten free donuts they offer now because I haven't tried them, but my GF friends seem to like them.

Yelp
Amazing donuts and coffee drinks. Plant based, but you would never know unless they told you.

Yelp
By far the best doughnuts in West Seattle. Excellent choice of weekly staples, and all the rotational flavors never disappoint. Cheap price, good doughnuts, friendly staff.

Yelp
Fabulous shop with a modern, clean vibe and some truly creative bespoke flavors you won't find anywhere else. The owners are the cutest gay couple who take Pride in their work. They have iced donuts, filled donuts, twists and fritters, and even though everything is vegan (I'm a happy omnivore, all the donuts I've tried manage to be delicious and decadent. They always have one flavor with LGBTQIA+ theme color glitter on top, but get there early (before 11am!) if you want to snag them because they sell out fast! The only downside is their limited days and short hours only Wed-Sun, 8am to 2pm, as of this writing!). Oh, and their vegan orange mocha is to die for.

Yelp
I discovered this donut shop last year. I have been visiting this spot whenever I wander around the Sunday farmer's market. They have a rainbow of flavors. Some of the donuts are traditional, but there is still something special about them that I can't quite pinpoint... It could be the texture. The best part of this shop is they offer a donut hole on the drinks. I love how there is a treat with your drink. Hopefully they keep that special treat and not take it away.

Yelp
I was very impressed with my initial visit to Dough Joy. I got the Pumpkin Spice donut and it's the best classic donut I've had in Seattle to date. It was so incredibly fluffy, not overly sweet, and the flavor was spot on. I would love to come back and try more flavors. The interior is small, cute, and very pink. They do have limited seating available. I also love that it's connected to an equally adorable plant shop - perfect to peruse while waiting for drink orders.

Yelp
They don't advertise it, but everything is vegan! Had an "everything bagel" donut. It was sweet, salty, and delicious. Washed it down with a nice oat latte. Definitely going back!

Yelp
Not only are these vegan donuts amazing....but they're certainly in the race for my favorite area donuts in general! I went with a friend who had purchased off Too Good To Go and she had no idea they were even vegan after eating them. The aesthetic of the place was cute and the staff was friendly. I also checked out Botanic at the Disco (the plant store they share a space with) and was wildly impressed by the cat-safe section of plants (and of course the asthetic of the shop. Who doesn't love a glitter floor and disco balls?!)
