"Nobody will ever call Plano the Puglia of Texas, but Dough is serving the kind of food and wines you’ll find in Southern Italy. We’re talking Neapolitan pizzas, housemade burrata, and Italian varietals like falanghina and primitivo. The wood-burning oven and white tiled bar set the scene for a chill weeknight dinner or casual date, where you can share that aforementioned burrata and the Italian wedge salad before digging into the aptly named Pork Love pizza. It’s topped with four kinds of pork (housemade sausage, speck, soppressata, and pancetta), and the rich and salty meat is offset by bright San Marzano tomato sauce and fresh fior di latte cheese." - kevin gray

An absolute incredible experience from the start to finish. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was a twist on indistrial meets warm accents. I liked the touch of refurbished wood for the host stand and bar. The food network featured dish was exceptional! The old fashion was delicious and one of the best I've had. The flavors of the pizza were outstanding, with pops of oregano with fresh mozzarella. What I enjoyed was observing how the staff knows the regulars by name and order. This is a gem of a find for delicious pizza.

Located in a small strip shopping strip, tucked between Subway and a Nail Spa, you may just drive or walk by this hidden gem. I was in the mood for Brick Oven Pizza and this was the first place that popped up in my search. You would think that it's just another pizza place, but it's more than that. The service here is outstanding and the staff is welcoming and very friendly. You could tell they like what they do. I ordered the Meatball appetizer, a Caesar Salad, and the Arugula Prosciutto Pizza. The pizza was GREAT! That crust is everything, but the stat of the show, was that Meatball appetizer. Oh my goodness!!!! I could eat that every day. Each dish in its presentation is a work of art. They took their time on the preparation and you can tell. Great food, great service. I will be back.

Absolutely delicious! We had meatballs as our appetizer. The meat melted in your mouth with every bite. The Casa salad is perfect for two people. The house made balsamic was very tasty. We finished up with the classic pepperoni pizza. The most flavorful marinara sauce I have ever tasted. We sat on the patio and it was lovely. Hung lights from the ceiling gave such a wonderful ambience. There was a calling fan that helped keep the patio breezy. The patio is also pet friendly. Our waiter was very attentive and our drinks were always filled and fresh. I highly recommend this place for all occasions. They have a bar and a large list of wines to choose from. Happy Eating! 🍕🥗🍝

UPDATE: 3/7/24 Chances are, if the Menu is small, you can bet that it is Legit Italian. We have been to Dough several times, and every single visit makes us want to return again and again. Food, Service, and Ambiance are all on point here! Jason and Terry are rockstars and always ensure we have everything we need. You can't go wrong with just about anything on the Menu. The Italian Margarita is just perfect and the Insalata Mixta and Margherita Pizza are reminiscent of dining in Italy. The Tiramisu is the best in DFW imo. You’ll have to come try it for yourself. Your opinion and/or experience may be different. Creating the full-bodied flavor, texture, and just the right ratio to achieve the crust and chew from the Italian-imported 00 Flour is both an art and skill. The intimate interior dining space and relaxed Neapolitan Vibe are welcoming and why we choose to return for subsequent visits. What I DON'T appreciate are the judgmental glares from other patrons. This is 2024 - if you can't appreciate [or at the very least acknowledge] diversity, you need to stay home! ——————————————————————————— Plano's best kept secret! Heard rave reviews about this place and just had to check it out with Mom. I have to say, I am impressed. It is in a strip mall, but is delightfully adorned to achieve a Neapolitan vibe. Although dine-in seating is limited, the ambiance is just beautiful. From the time we entered until the conclusion of our meal, the service was right on point. We were promptly greeted and seated by Jason, given menus, and waters. He told us he was already expecting us and suggested some menu items as well as the fact that it was Happy Hour. For cocktails, we both ordered Cucumber Basil Martinis. Excellent! We ordered the olive appetizer which was accompanied by flatbread. Also excellent! We only finished half so we had the remainder boxed up while we waited for our small Margherita pizza to arrive. The dough could not have been more perfect. The texture and flavor profile was reminiscent of what I had eaten in Tuscany in 2016. We plowed right through it. We topped it all off with the Tiramisu. It was so light and fluffy and not at all heavy. My favorite out of all the Tiramisus I have eaten at Italian Restaurants. We made reservations on OpenTable for 4:30pm today, since it was a weekday. I imagine if it were any time on the weekend, it would be packed. We were the only patrons there (with the exception of the door opening for several pick-up orders) Think we found our new place. A big thank you to Jason, Kyle, Terry, and Jose. Without a doubt, we will be regulars here going forward.

Absolutely a hidden gem. We lucked out and got a table immediately. Within 5-10 minutes the seating in the restaurant was full. Jason was our Server and he was Fantastic, The food was even better. Sad I only took two photos because our Margherita pizza was cooked to perfection. My wife said she felt like it was the same pizza from Italy. We have been searching for an authentic pizzeria and after many tries we think we have finally found our go to spot.

Wow, Dough Pizzeria Napoletana was a hit! The pizza's spot-on with a killer crust, and fresh toppings. The had a great house wine at happy hour. Totally cozy vibe, too. Can't wait to swing by again! Service was spot on and best pizza I’ve had in a very long time.

My work has a food delivery service. Dough Pizza was. A new vendor, so I decided to give them a shot. I ordered a Mista Salad with subber lemon Parmesan Vinaigrette. The dressing was very salty, but had. A good lemon flavor. I liked the addition of roasted garlic on the salad. I would definitely eat here again. I am curious to try their pizza next time I visit and/or order.
