Downtown Dogs

Delicious Chicago style hotdogs. We tried char and steamed dogs, both delicious. Sweet potato fries were good but next time we will try regular fries.

Great little gem, off the beaten path. Excellent food, service was great, friendly staff. Very limited seating. Small inside. Recommended takeout place. We sat at the counter/window seat. Only ~8-10 seats inside, no bathroom available. Worth it for the food!!!! A must go for a quick bite! Try the Italian beef, sausage or a Chicago hot dog!

Awesome little dog stop. This was where we got our first Chicago style hot dogs. We were not disappointed at all, they were super cheap and packed full of toppings. Couldn't be happier with our first tries. The staff were happy and very helpful

This place is right around the corner from me and I usually eat there once every two weeks. My review is well informed based on probably 50 visits. Go for a Char-dog you cannot go wrong. It's a classic hotdog and bun with mustard, the bright green relish, onions, hot peppers, a tomato wedge and a pickle. I'd stack their dog up against anyone. For get the burgers-pedestrian and the chicken is your regular old frozen out of the box stuff. Can't forget the fries. Outstanding. For about $8 you can get a Char-dog and fries anytime. The place is filthy dirty. The folks can be tough on newcomers.

Good, not great but love the cute dog pictures all over the inside walls. My first Chicago dog. Hot dog was tasty.

Must be stopped by. It is very close to Magnificent Mile. It is a small place. You may wait a little when it is lunch time. I woke up late that day and I was there 12:00 am to have my breakfast. I eat 2 dogs which I could eat 2 more. I have never eaten this king of hot dog before. Super tasty super delicious. I will definetly go there again when I will be in Chicago.

I am not a fan of hotdogs but I really enjoyed this place. I order a Chicago Dog with Chilli and it was pretty good. I would visit again when I'm back in Chicago. The price was pretty reasonable. When I first walked passed the location it was packed but went around 5-6ish and it was no one in there so I got in and out. The customer service was great.

Excellent. Great service too‼️ We will definitely be coming back here. Update (7/26/20) They now have outdoor seating and all necessary COVID precautions, and as delicious as ever 😁
