The 22 Best Restaurants in Santa Fe, New Mexico | Eater

"Chef Josh Gerwin is known among the area’s foragers as a die-hard wild foods enthusiast. If you come in the right season (the rainy one), you’ll likely find the menu peppered with foraged ingredients like wild mushrooms or greens from the nearby mountains. Located in a nondescript shopping center, this casual restaurant caters to the local crowd with a respectable draft beer selection, a nonpretentious vibe, and an eclectic array of sandwiches, pizzas, and enchiladas. A few doors down there is also a butcher shop if you’re looking to procure and grill any specialty meat on your trip. Vibe check: The restaurant is tucked away in a shopping center away from downtown, making for relaxed meals with more affordable prices." - Karen Fischer

Google
I highly recommend this restaurant. It has a very casual feel but impressive food and atmosphere. Despite being connected to a shopping strip it felt very distinct. I had the daily special meat loaf and it was amazing! My son ordered basic spaghetti but it came out like a gourmet dish. My wife had an outstanding salad with different types of tomatoes, sunflower seeds and cup of broccoli & cheese soup. Even a simple pepperoni pizza was way better than expected.

Google
We have been coming here for years and always enjoy the food. Today we had the summer fruit salad, which was so delicious! I had it with shrimp and my husband had it with chicken, and we both really enjoyed it. It was pretty and filling. My only negative for this visit was the price. For two fruit salads with water, we paid $65 with tip. That seems very expensive for a mall restaurant. I highly recommend for the food but know that it will be pricey.

We arrived around 6pm for dinner. We were immediately seated. Our waitress brought us water and took our drink order & I requested chips & fire roasted tomato salsa. When she returned with those items, we placed our order. It was all prompt! The waitress was courteous and visited with us about move to new location. Our meals were delicious and I would definitely recommend!

If you are looking for a cozy and satisfying meal, look no further than Dr. Field Good’s Kitchen. This restaurant offers a variety of dishes, from burgers and sandwiches to salads and soups, but the star of the show is their pork chop. This is not your average pork chop, but a large bone-in cut that is tender, juicy, and flavorful. The pork chop is served with a generous portion of spicy green chile stew, which has large chunks of pork and a rich and hearty broth. The stew is perfect for dipping the pork chop, possibly only better if they provided a warm tortilla. The pork chop also comes with mashed potatoes, broccoli, carrots, and Brussels sprouts, all cooked to perfection and seasoned well. The vegetables are fresh and crisp, and the mashed potatoes are creamy and smooth. The portion size is very generous, and you will definitely feel full and satisfied after finishing this dish. The service at Dr. Field Good’s Kitchen is also excellent. The staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful. They are quick to refill your beverages, check on your satisfaction, and offer suggestions. They also accommodate special requests and dietary restrictions. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a rustic and homey decor. The restaurant is clean and spacious, and the music is pleasant and relaxing. Dr. Field Good’s Kitchen is a great place to enjoy a delicious and comforting meal, especially if you love pork and green chile. The prices are reasonable, the quality is high, and the service is outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a feel-good dining experience.

Google
10/10. Love this place. They were pretty busy at dinner but we were seated instantly at the bar. The bartender took great care of us and our drinks and food came out quickly. The drink selection was great and plentiful as was the menu. We were told everything was good so we made sure to get a variety of dishes. We got the fish and chips, the Xmas enchiladas and the house made fettuccine. We were not disappointed. This was some of the best food I’ve had in Santa Fe and it’s now a staple in my book. I will be back!

Google
The food was amazing! Even though my order delivered by another staff member was incorrect, the server was very kind and quick to swap it out for me. (I had ordered a gluten free smoked turkey sandwich without pickled onions and aioli sauce). The server was top notch! I wish I remembered his name, but thank you, sir!

Google
I'm not feeling too eating at Dr. Fields good. This is my first time at Santa Fe and I wanted to eat here since I follow Triple D restaurant visits. I ordered the green chili tortilla burger. I asked for the burger to be cooked medium instead I got raw in the middle. I notified the waiter who told the Manager and they offered to make me another one. I asked if the can be cooked well since I didn't trust the cooks skills to be able to make a proper medium burger. The second burger was cooked correctly. I do have some concerns since I did take a few bites of the raw burger. I didn't notice the burger was raw until the third bite. Now I'm up past 11pm with an upset stomach. I hope my experience doesn't end up visiting a real Doctor

Yelp
Dr. Field Goods is back! After writing my review expressing disappointment that the new location was still like Santa Fe Bar and Grill and expressing hope that they would soon get a pizza oven, They have and they have also brought back much of the original Field Goods menu, including the enchiladas cooked in the pizza oven. We have been twice since this happened and will once again be regulars. The reason for the missing star is that they are using plastic straws and plastic to-go containers, when they could easily choose to use more sustainable options. So happy to have the food back

Yelp
Rip off. Total rip off. Spent and wasted a hard earned $70. Bartenders vary prices depending on who they like. Prices can vary up to $20 as a result. I was charged $2.59 for a side of dressing.... Any place, I Mean ANY PLACE would never charge you that for a thimble. There is a reason locals don't want to go there anymore Josh.... You've destroyed SF's love.... This is an insult to us. I HAD A VEGGIE BURGER WHICH says, 1.50 over the cost of a hamburger at 15.5? That makes no sense and cheese is mandatory even though it says to add cheese is 3 extra? Excuse me? Your menu makes no sense and you need an editor. So then I have to send it back and wait 30 more minutes only to be ripped off for 2.50 for more ketchup. Josh, you've lost the respect of at least. 2 dozen locals I know.... And there is a Nextdoor and Facebook group who is so sad to let this place go. I held on, but tonight was the breaking point. And, NO one! I mean NO ONE LIKES NOAH! NOT EVEN NOAH likes Noah. Even your staff doesn't. They ALL complain about him but deal with his abuse. That's just the tip of the iceberg--- JOSH, you are going to lose all respect of the people who once loved the SFBG. You've destroyed a love and a homestead. You're younger than most of us and truly do not know what SF tradition is or represents, I'm out.... I've joined the

Yelp
The unique thing about this restaurant is that its substantial and varied menu is anchored by farm-raised, local meats that Dr. Field Goods Butcher Shop serves up to customers right next door. They do a fantastic job of catering to wide-ranging tastes, from local New Mexican fare to creative menu items from their chefs. They also work hard to make you feel at home and taken care of while you dine. You can get light fare like a cup of green chile stew with a tortilla, or go with a full New Mexican meal with all the trimmings. They have classic deli faves for between-sized meals, and everything is cooked to order. Now that they are in a bustling mall on the north end of Santa Fe, you can preface or follow your meal with a stroll through the shops, or hike down to the only bowling alley in town to roll a few lines. If you are in town, give it a shot!

Yelp
Always a good experience. Fresh ingredients well prepared and a menu that spans health and comfort food. I'm stuck on their peppercorn steak salad at the moment. Healthy and fresh but hearty with big flavor.

Patricia L.

Yelp
The quality of the food was terrible.....who ever heard of corn beef being brown. The management was not very supportive of my claim that the food was inedible. He took it back to the kitchen and never to be seeen again. He gave us $10 off our bill on a $17 item. Totally unacceptable. That's not good food or good management !!!!!! I would not recommend this place!!!! One star is generous!

Janice P.

Yelp
The food is always really good , service is good too. This is a good place to go when you're not sure what you want to eat because their menu has alott of variety

Yelp
After our visit to Meow Wolf, we stopped by at Dr. Field Goods Kitchen which is close by for dinner. It's a causal joint, on the small size, specialized in fusion, with a New Mexico twist. We got a Margherita Pizza and shared it, we added pepperoni and olives on half of it. The pizza was good, the ingredients were fresh, they used heirloom tomato-s, the complaint? The crust was too thin so you couldn't pick it up, had to be classy and use a knife and a fork. For a gastro pub, I was disappointed with their on tap beer selection. They kept bringing us canned beer. No way! With all the local breweries, do I want a beer I can buy in a supermarket everywhere in US? No way! Just a couple of local IPA-s, which I don't like. But I wanted a local beer so I got the Santa Fe Co IPA. Nor a fun. IPA-s aren't for me. For dessert, we shared their bread pudding, good, liked the caramel sauce on it. a tad dry. Customer service was OK. Prices, decent. The place could be better, a mixed bag for me! I expected better based on reviews and local press.

Larry S.

Yelp
Excellent fish, changes everyday Crispy, grilled, simple. A great healthy option! The service is always prompt and friendly. A great diner-like ambiance My favorite fish at Dr. Fields Good: Grouper, Mahi-mahi and Swordfish.

J. L. B.

Yelp
The steak or shrimp salad entrees were always my neighborhood hangout go-to until Dr. Field Goods bought the SF Bar & Grill. No more. Price increases make the salad more expensive than a sandwich with fries and the chef removed the fruit elements that livened up the flavors and replaced it with slimy shiitake mushrooms. Ugh. And now, the restaurant passes the credit card fees on to the customer. If you pay with a card, you pay the fee. If you pay with cash, the meal costs less. While I appreciate that information being obvious on the tab, I'd expected the Maitre D' to give me the right change after paying the bill with cash. Accepting cash payments? Then have the coins to make proper change. instead of shorting the customer who paid with cash. Not good.

Yelp
Awesome food, casual atmosphere, great service. Their fries with chipotle aioli dipping sauce so good. And the Ruebens! I recently tried their bolognese and it was incredible.

Yelp
Treated my 26 year old son to dinner. He orders the $19.00 Christmas Enchiladas. I ask, "You can eat it all, or you want to split it?" He looks at me although I've lost my mind. I get the $15.00 Margarita Pizza. Magical crust is wafer thin, yet allows toppings to defy gravity. Really a wonder of culinary craftsmanship, allowed me to eat most of the pizza myself: Fresh golden tomatoes and liberal use of basil. Devine! Christmas enchiladas were inhaled. I had a small taste: delicious, but believe I'll be sleeping much easier with Margarita.

Yelp
Field Goods Kitchen, located mid-Cerrillos Road, presents farm-to-table dining along with a smart selection of craft beers (wine is also available). Since opening in 2013, the restaurant has been undoubtedly the best on its block, and remains great today. My girlfriend and I came in for dinner before seeing a concert at Meow Wolf. Having recently given up both beer and red meat, we were overjoyed to find many items on the menu which fit both our appetites and dietary preferences. The kale salad was a delight: lightly dressed in olive oil, chock full both of shredded kale and chunks of potato, mushroom, red onion, and other vegetables. This salad is filling, delicious, and nutritious. The fish and chips also impressed. While it didn't quite fit the description/photos, the food was more than adequate. The fish was breaded and fried just right, tasted fresh, and had the perfect texture. The potatoes paired nicely, as did the coleslaw, which carried a charming flavor of dill. Service was on point and very gracious. We closed down the restaurant but the staff made us feel welcome and in no rush at all. Always made sure we had water in our glasses. Had a great time and looking forward to returning. (Also, if you read my previous review, please note that they no longer do breakfast here.)

Yelp
A must eat at restaurant if you're near Meow Wolf. After exploring the museum we walked here to grab lunch. It hit the spot. Interesting menu, ranging from burgers, wood fire pizza, burritos, steak au poivre, Xmas enchiladas, to Pho!! I mean there is something for everyone! We got 1/2 pound black mussels and wood fired pizza with mushrooms. I have the say the sauce on the mussels was out of this world good. You will find yourself dipping the toasted bread in that sauce and you just can't stop! Our waiter was really attentive to our needs (we had a party of 8, half of which were kids) and gave great recommendations.
google avatar

Tasha M.

Yelp
Amazing food but ok service. Our waters were never refilled and there was hardly any ice so our drink were kinda warm. Inside it is very cozy small and tight. I wish this venue was bigger to make it a more comfortable setting. Our pizza barely fits the small two seated tables. Our waiter was friendly and recommended us some options since it was our first visit. We had the Oven Roasted Brussel Sprouts which was delicious I loved the bacon bites and cotija cheese. The main dish was the Pizza De Gallo with added pepperoni. The pepperoni was sliced strips which was perfect instead of round slices which make pools of grease. It was also cool to see the guy making the pizza fresh as he tosses the dough in the air and puts it in the oven. Out pizza was cooked to perfection. The bar area even had kids sitting because of lack of dining space it was a little odd to see. Also one of the bar tenders kept dropping glasses and making a scene must have been her first day. Even the cooks looked crammed being right behind the bar area. Prices are also a bit high but for the fresh ingredients I dont mind. I just wish there was more elbow room and better service.
google avatar

Victoria P.

Yelp
The staff is sweet, friendly, and super effing accommodating. We rolled in close to closing and they still took care of us. The young woman behind the bar provided some suggestions: Enchiladas, The New Mexican, The Cubano, and the Margherita Pizza. We ordered the New Mexican and cubano and were not disappointed. We split the sandwiches and both were delicious. I preferred the cubano, but the New Mexican was delicious and filling. The draft list was excellent. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. We're sorry for keeping them late, but so very grateful they took care of us and served some bomb a$$ food. For real. When you're in town and need a break from the constant Mexican / New Mexican cuisine - I'd highly recommend eating here!
google avatar

Peter B.

Yelp
The pizza is amazing here and other dishes, too. I had the margarita, which had a light, crispy and silky crust moistened with olive oil, a rich cheese and heirloom tomatoes. It melted in my mouth, definitely far exceeding my expectations for a place located in a mall-like area that has seen better days. The garden salad was full of freshness and was a generous portion. Last, the bread pudding dessert had homemade caramel sauce, whipped cream and included a decadent addition: pine nuts. Guy Fieri of DDD has been here. Amazing food and a friendly, knowledgeable waiter as well.
google avatar

Mary O.

Yelp
I think the potential is there. First off the waiter just did not want to be there. We had to flag him down after we ordered to order drinks. Egg rolls were good. The peanut sauce for the eggroll was like the bottom of the can of planter dry roasted nuts in the best possible way, salty and tasty. The mushroom soup was creamy and had good flavor but needed salt. The kick ass BLT I guess was a pork patty. The potatoes were good amd fried but some were blister your mouth hot and other were cold. Hubby got Xmas enchiladas and it was not flavorful and lacked salt. It came out with that great browned bubbly cheese. Had to go in search of salt ourselves. A shop owner recommended this place to us.
google avatar

Jon B.

Yelp
Passing through Santa Fe and found this place off Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives. Got a flat bread and a bowl of green chili with a bottle of wine. Everything was fantastic. Probably the best green chili we've ever had, in fact, had to order a second bowl. We'll be back next time we pass through.
google avatar

Tiff R.

Yelp
Went here last night when I was in Santa Fe from Albuquerque. My friend said to pick wherever so I opened yelp and chose the first place I found that looked good and had great reviews. We were NOT disappointed! We shared the nacho special. Then I had the el cubano which was a mouthgasm. So delicious! Highly recommend.
google avatar

Breann G.

Yelp
Service was good. But menu and food was terrible. This is very "new generation" kinda food no seasoning on basically anything even the pizza was like eating cheese cardboard with no flavor im really disappointed after hearing so much good stuff about this place considering we dropped almost $80 here and nothing really hit the spot. The burger was basically flavorless without ketchup and the bar menu was like 10 drinks nothing that really sounded good unless you like healthy cocktails and white claws.
google avatar

Carl A.

Yelp
The menu is the most difficult, we couldn't choose what to order. The food was incredible, HUGE, and quick! The service was second to none. It was busy but we sat down immediately, there was a nice bar and also lovely seating. I loved my red child beef enchilada!! It was very hot and more than filled me up eating about 1/2 and I can eat a lot! The New Mexican was also a great sandwich which I tried. I would recommend the green Chile enchilada over red, but I'm learning that I just am quite partial with my green Chile and they do it right. We also tried the appetizers patatas bravas and the oven roasted Brussel sprouts which was a grand warm up to the main course. No complaints at all. Thank you.
google avatar

Esw M.

Yelp
Wow, eat here!!! El Cubans and Pho!!! Nothing bad to say about this place. Took the bread pudding home; no more room.

Roderic L.

Yelp
Ok well they took over the old Santa Fe Bar and Grill and kept all my favorites from that menu, but now the also serve up Josh's creations from the Cerrillos Rd location, which makes it the best of both worlds. I now refer to this restaurant as "Locutus"
google avatar

Rose Y.

Yelp
Santa Fe's food scene has been exceptional. After experiencing Meow Wolf, we stopped at this restaurant located in a strip mall that turned out to be a gem. We split a salad and they actually served it in two portions. The salad was interesting with flavorful beets and sautéed mushrooms. We shared a margarita pizza and their wood fired oven delivered a crust that was crispy yet had a nice chew. The topping tasted fresh and paired well with ten crust. Plus a nearby family has an adorable baby and the parents let me get my baby hugging fix. What more can you ask for!
google avatar

ERIC K.

Yelp
I get it is tough out there these days, but certain things should just be taken care of. My wife and I ordered the carne asada egg rolls, fish tostada and the fish and chips. The egg rolls were quite good without their weird peanut sauce which was very salty. Yes, getting take out with fried food can be a delicate situation, but why put cold slaw right on top of the fried potatoes? Why not separate the cold from the hot? I can really comment on taste as it ruined the dish. The fish tostada was also covered in cold slaw which also soaked the corn tortilla into mush. do better with takeout given these days...

n r.

Yelp
Dr Field Goods took over the old Santa Fe Bar and Grill, where we were regulars, so we were predisposed to like the place, hoping they'd keep the reliable menu go-tos. The visit was an extreme disappointment. We ordered a bowl of green chile stew, and the trout. We waited over 30 minutes to get the food. This was not our server's problem -- we know him from the prior ownership -- he's good. The green chile stew was tasteless (and that's hard to do -- hint: salt helps.) The trout was cooked well but the 'florentine rice' (meaning they put something green in it) was flavorless and the accompanying vegetables were overcooked mush. It was so bad we took the rare step of complaining to the manager. Another disappointment. He acknowledged that they knew the stew needed flavoring, and said 'this is not who we are.' Well, news flash, yes, it is. You served food you knew was substandard, and didn't care enough to make it right for your customers. That is who you are.

Dayna L.

Yelp
Used to be good when they first opened years again.. Sad to say, on a recent visit for a Reuben, I had to squeeze it like a sponge, than request a new plate so the rest of the sandwich didn't drown...
google avatar

John L.

Yelp
Awesome destination. Left at 7:30ish Staff awesome Mussels w/curry Pizza best? Wild oven is real Mussels curry

Karen N.

Yelp
Service was good and food was amazing! First time to NM and to this restaurant and my travel partner and I would definitely go back! I will also add, it is a little pricy
google avatar

Tacie X.

Yelp
AMAZING from top to bottom. Service and food were excellent. As usual Yelp did not disappoint with this suggestion. Servers were friendly and willing to put my teams football game on We feasted on oven roasted brussel sprouts, green chili (Fantastic) which is a lot coming from my husband who is a green chile connoisseur, hand muddled cherry vanilla soda, local beers, pizza de gallo and pumpkin vanilla creme brulee. Seriously considering coming back before we head home to Colorado to try the bad ass BLT and onion rings! Off the beaten path of downtown Santa Fe, about 10 minute drive, definitely worth it!

Adam W.

Yelp
I ordered a sandwich and onion rings over the phone, using the online menu. When I went to pick it up, I was charged $3.00 more for the sandwich, and $2.50 more for the onion rings, than shown on the online menu. When I complained the staff just shrugged; they said prices had been raised 2 weeks ago. I said 2 weeks was plenty of time to change your website. For my price hike I got a total of 3 onion rings. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. You have lost a customer.
google avatar

Sam R.

Yelp
Should be Great food and fun atmosphere. We ordered the chicken enchiladas, they came burnt to the table. I could not eat half of it as it was stuck to the plate the margarita pizza came out only half cooked. The pizza dough was raw in the middle. the Cubano sandwich was good. The kitchen staff today did not really seem to care about the product they pushed out. Love it.
google avatar

Katie D.

Yelp
So good! The ambiance here alone made the experience wonderful. Staff is efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. We had the fish tostada, skinny burger and onion rings. Everything was great, but the skinny burger, made from New Mexico beef, was hands down the best burger I've had to date. Everything is locally sourced and fresh and you can tell! Great dinner and I will be back!!

Rick J.

Yelp
Josh is an INCREDIBLE CHEF! The freshest ingredients you'll ever get!! Triple D was there and Guy was blown away by the BLT! So was I! A must go to in Santa Fe!
google avatar

Robin R.

Yelp
Amazing pizza. Same goes for mushrooms soup and chili stew. Stew super hot. Saw this in diners, drives dive. Guy did not disappoint.emplyees very friendly.
google avatar

Carol W.

Yelp
Disappointed. We sat outside, sidewalk filthy, windows and doors were dirty. While we're waiting, a server walked outside and dumped a glass of something in the parking lot, walked back inside and brought out a pitcher of something and dumped it out too. Ordered a BLT, was brought something that looked like a hamburger. Server claims it was ground bacon. No tomato in the sandwich. Would not recommend.

Yelp
When I travel, it is an EXTREME rarity for me to hit up the same place twice. I mean, I'm traveling right? There are new dining adventures to check out. So, when I say that I actually dined at a place two nights in a row, it really means something. This joint rocked my boat big time. From the street, it looks like a non-descript strip mall dining place. But, man o man, can they put out the incredible food. Totally casual inside. (and rather tight). We sat up at the counter both nights since the place was packed (and it apparently is this way every night). Up at the counter you get to see the kitchen anyway, which I always enjoy. And, the other guests were super friendly. First night: Started with the arancini. Excellent and amazingly 'green' inside. Finished with the New Mexican - green chile rubbed & smoked pulled pork topped with sharp cheddar cheese, green chile and an apple jicama slaw served with field good potatoes. So much flavor. It's a big sandwich. Second night: We skipped the appetizer and went right for the awesome "Christmas" enchiladas. One green chile chicken, and one red chile buffalo meat enchiladas. The chile seasonings were off the hook. And, again, this was a whole lot of food. We each ended up eating only half of our orders. But, hey, it gave us a great breakfast the next day. (so does that mean I ate at Dr. Field Goods three days in a row?). If I were to have any kind of criticism, it would only be the quantity of food (it's a lot). And, the cold draft that comes in since this is such a small place. The food is awesome, and the staff and the patrons were all super 'casual' friendly. It will definitely remain on my hit list.
google avatar

Erica S.

Yelp
Hidden gem of glory. Eat here and be happy. Order the xmas potato appetizer and enchilada bake or pulled pork sammich with onion rings. The Ska nut brown was on par too as well as the truffles!
google avatar

Taylor G.

Yelp
Dont eat here a ton as a local, but when I do I always leave asking myself, "why don't I eat here more often?" The menu is more creative than most places (tonight I had fried carne adovada egg rolls) which were delicious. They have a strong beer menu, cool wait staff, and nice, small but inviting bar. Great for dates or meeting up with friends without all of the pretentious BS downtown Santa Fe has sometimes. This place uses the best fresh ingredients too. Check it out. It doesn't disappoint.

Linda W.

Yelp
We were headed to Santa Fe to take our son and his wife to dinner for his Birthday. Mike actually suggested Field Goods Kitchen. We got there a,little early and were NOT impressed. No one was there at 6 and we're having many negative thoughts about the place. When our son and his wife arrived, it was obvious they had eaten here a number of times. What a pleasant surprise! I had the Bad Ass BLT as did Mike. His wife had a kale salad and my husband had the New Mexico sandwich. Mike said we had to have a side of potatoes and we ordered one with Christmas. OMG!! It was all so delicious. The waiter told us they also had a place in Albuquerque at the Saw Mill. We can't wait to compare them. You will not be disappointed.
google avatar

Monique A.

Yelp
The only place where I will eat that is worth getting a babysitter. Pony up to the bar, grab a Bosque Riverwalker IPA and some miniguiche and let the culinary bliss with your partner begin! More, more! We can't get enough! Local microbrews with exceptional service and vittles. Dessert superb and company wonderful!
google avatar

Steven Z.

Yelp
Customer service is A+. Got the New Mexican which was very good although the pork was perhaps a bit drier than I liked. Very nice casual dining experience. The atmosphere is not too loud and you can easily hear each other talk. Would come again next time.

Yelp
Amazing! I had the El Cubano sandwich with onion rings and a serving of green chili stew! Not a single bad thing to be said! Staff was friendly and attentive! Great service! Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
I have friends visiting from Australia to see and ride some iconic roads along Route 66. The quintessential R66 diner experience is all part of the package, but after a day of hard riding and easy food you start to want something a little different. So we pulled into Sante Fe and opened up Yelp. Despite being a mile away from our location we decided to give Dr. Field Goods a try. Like Eric T before me said ... only being able to give this place 5 stars is a tremendous disservice. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Upon entry we noted that the place was almost full and in rather a nondescript location. So don't be put off by that. All the dishes being served to the other diners looked fantastic and certainly bode well for us. We started with the fresh drinks including the Ginger Ale and Cherry Limonade - it was at about this time we knew the entire meal was going to be fantastic and we hadn't even ordered yet! For starters we tried their Sishito seasonal peppers fire roasted and seasoned with poached garlic, chilantro, and lime zest. We also had their onion rings, a cup of their scratch made green chile with fresh pork and fire roasted Caesar salad (my friend says this is THE BEST). We'd recommend all of these again. Although the restaurant does pride themselves on farm to table, so it really is about seasonal ingredients. For entrees we enjoyed their 'out of this world' Shrimp Tacos and Fish and Chips ... again, just fantastic. We had zero room for dessert but couldn't pass up trying all three, including the chocolate and spiced truffles, bread pudding which was out of this world and their Creme Brûlée. Look ... we were only in Sante Fe for one night and we couldn't have asked for a better restaurant. Definitely try it if your in town. It's worth it. Also shout out to Nicole for great service, friendliness and menu knowledge.

Yelp
We wanted to try something new in town and had heard some good things from a coworker about this place. The atmosphere is very "bar centered". The music was quite loud and we had a difficult time having a conversation. Everything is well decorated with a rustic vibe. One negative point was that we kept noticing the staff touching a dog outside and didn't see them wash their hands afterward (maybe they did wash and we didn't see it. I'm just saying what was visually observed) The food was fine. I ordered the pizza with green Chile. The pizza is okay, nothing outstanding, but good enough.

Yelp
This is a fun little spot in Santa Fe to visit! They have a wide variety of items on their menu and everything is fresh! This farm to table restaurant has a really good vibe with excellent staff. The place is small so expect a cozy atmosphere and lots of friendly chatter.

Yelp
Don't go to Santa Fe that often so I wanted to try a restaurant while I was there. I found this one on Yelp and thought the name was clever and the food sounded good. I basically had two people waiting on me who seemed to alternate which was cool... Definitely didn't feel forgotten about. They were playing almost all the "party rap" I love like they took my iPod or something so that was different and cool. Found out their main chef was out of town and usually they play rock which fits the restaurant logo and name. I first had their cucumber infused mint water which was pretty good. I then just got regular water refilled and still had the mint taste which made it a nice change of pace. I then was curious about their French Press Coffee...I think on their online menu it said the coffee was from Iconik but their restaurant menu said a different coffee and then one of my servers said oh we don't do the French Press anymore and should change it on the menu. She said they just have regular coffee now and said it was a Guatemalan blend. I asked if it was the same price of the French Press $3.50 and she said yes. Well at least I was able to get refills of it and it tasted good with ice and a little cream! I ordered the Half Pound Black Mussles to start. They were good.. Good sauce and didn't feel the peanuts were needed. I was brought a plate for the shells which was nice. I had the Goat Torte as my main course and was able to get it without the bread... she didn't even bat an eye when I asked. This might have been my first time having goat. It was good but the goat barbacoa needed more flavor and I thought there would be more sauce to it. Had to ask for salt and was given a little sauce container of sea salt which was good. I did like the sauce it came with though and should have asked for more. I liked their fried potatoes... lots of crispy bits...yummm! Finally, desert...ordered their Truffle Plate and she told me they were house made which is awesome! They were really good... I am not sure which was my favorite. I took them home and they were a little soft and noticed when they were served they had been in the refrigerator. So if you take these home make sure they aren't out for too long! I would definitely go back if given the opportunity!

Yelp
Great restaurant off the beaten track on Cerritos. It is located in a quiet strip mall and you will drive right by it if you dont play attention. But if you find it, you will be rewarded with terrific, interestingly prepared comfort food. I recommend the shishito peppers appetizer. This is now one of my must stop places during my trips to Santa Fe.

Yelp
Let me start with - it was okay. BLT sandwich with literally 3 onion rings and an egg - $17.50 and not special. The meat was dry and less than flavorful. Green Chili had a great flavor but lots of fat on the pork. Kale salad was very good except after we ordered they came out to say they were out of beets. Led us to believe we could order something else instead but 'Well, they have already started it. Do you want some extra brussel sprouts or something?'. Sure. Hate to think how few brussel sprouts would have been on it if this was an 'extra' amount. Pizza was eh. Had to get up and pour my own tea refill. Service was pleasant but not very attentive. They seemed to give about 1/2 a s***. Sorry but when lunch for 4 with one beverage and two beers is $75 we expect more.

Yelp
We've been regulars here for about 4 years. The food is creative, well prepared, with fresh and often local ingredients. Service has always been friendly and attentive - until recently. There has been a lot of staff turnover and many of the new staff don't have customer focus. You have to flag them down to order, the orders get lost and confused, they don't know how to properly use the registers. It took over an hour to get a pizza recently. And then it was difficult to get a beer. Meanwhile, one employee stood around the whole time jawboning with fellow employees and looking at his smartphone and literally did no work. For over an hour. Dang, I need a job like that. The food is great, but service doesn't match it. I'm hoping that the owner figures this out and educates the staff to be more customer oriented. Meanwhile we're taking a hiatus from going there, because rewarding poor service leads to more poor service. Hasta la vista.
