Solid choice for local Chinese take-out, especially for lunch. The lunch menu offers a wide range of choices at a reasonable cost with generous portions. I look at the quality of a restaurant’s steamed rice as a pretty reliable overall indicator—in this instance good and slightly above average. Some indoor seating available if you really need to eat there, but in actuality a take-out place. Two car spaces at the side lot next to the restaurant, but not intended for more than pick-up. For free longer term street parking try North Ashland Street across Highland. Pro Tip: Afficionados of General Tso’s Chicken should consider pairing it with ripe puerh tea (available as tea bags or loose tea at Asian Supermarket in Worcester and a number of other Asian grocery stores). Pairings: Egg plant with garlic sauce pair with heicha; sweet and sour chicken pair with raw puerh or lightly smoked Lapsang Souchong; crispy eggrolls/pu-pu platter pair with green oolong.

The Taste Still is Consistent after two decades! I use to come here when I studied in WPI. The need for spice and curry use to get me here when I use to walk down highland street. 20 years later today I went with my family lane and took my favorite food to go. 20 years later it still taste the same. This place is Solid choice for local Chinese take-out. The lunch menu offers a wide range of choices at a reasonable cost with generous portions. There is no to very little indoor seating available if you really need to eat there, but in actuality a take-out place. 5 to 6 car spaces at the side lot next to the restaurant, but not intended for more than pick-up. For free longer term street parking try North Ashland Street across Highland. Tip: Try the Chicken Curry or Veggie Curry. Fried Rice and Chilli Oil! Pair it with ice Tea and Spring Roll. Heaven! I will upload the photos next time!

I got stuck in rush hour traffic, so I pulled over to wait. Stopped in for a quick bite, since I've been driving past this place for years. The food was hot fresh and fast, the service was super nice and this is a really good local spot for good food.

Google
The place is fantastic as far as food quality my standards are pretty high for Chinese food and this place has to my favorite in Worcester. When I moved here I set out to find the best Chinese food in town after lots of exploring I always ended up back here!

Google
I used to love coming here but I went here tonight to pick up my food tonight and I watched one of the chefs who was handling multiple amounts of food drop a container that would typically have food put in it, he dropped it on the floor and put it right back up on the same counter where other clean items should be. I looked over right at him and he did absolutely nothing and he didn't throw the container away and he filled it with food. God only knows who's getting that order tonight. This place has some serious issues. It used to be a great restaurant.

Kaffe.Inn (Vietnamese Coffee) opened up inside the dragon dynasty! Just tried their taro latte with boba, and it was DELICIOUS! A huge thanks to Melanie for paying special attention and being super honest about her menu and taste. Highly recommend to drop by if you're in the area, especially WPI students do try!

So my girlfriend ordered Chinese for dinner yesterday evening. I told her to order some vegetable dumplings from Dragon Dynasty. I came home to this. I love dragon Dynasty since I moved up here to worcester, ma. Before the make over of the restaurant I never had any issues, but now it's clear. It's not about QUALITY OVER QUANTITY anymore.

After eating here for a year I’m changing my rating from a 5 to a 2. Food has gone to crap. Low low quality. Not worth the $15. Not worth even eating it.

Yelp
I got the general gao chicken mother got the garlic chicken meal should have checked the food before we left in the general scale chicken with pork fried rice wasn't even general ago it was some honey chicken with lobster crab shells in it. My mother's meal was overcooked chicken didn't smell like garlic rubbery and heavy well never go back there again..... If you were smart and you would stay away also

Liam M.

Yelp
I bought take out. Service was fast, I had arrived 10ish minutes early and my food was ready. For the price, the food was good and I got a lot of it, now I am stocked with two days worth of General Tso's chicken. Would definitely order take out here again!

Yelp
I get it...New Year's Eve is. Crazy and they were super busy but they also had a LOT of employees working so the food should have not been this subpar. Never thought I would give this place a low review because it has been consiste toy it has good but I feel like I just wasted $46. I will likely end up throwing most of it away They have redecorated and added a Boba tea area so there is basically no more eat-in tables. Not sure of it's under new mgt. Chicken wings: tasted/looked nothing like chicken I've gotten their before. It was cold, really breaded, and SUPER SALTY. I over salt everything so if I say it's salty, it must be bad. The chicken was sitting in a large foil container so I assume it was fried ahead of time. Or they literally had catering for some items. House LoMein: texture was off, zero flavor. The noodles were kind of sticky/slimy. Egg rolls: $2.95/piece for these tiny things?!?! Cold in the inside, clearly pre-frozen. Shrimp egg foo yung: yes, I'm a weirdo who loves egg foo young it it was inedible. It tastes like it was fried in old oil a few days ago and frozen then re-fries today. Couldn't eat it. White rice: it's bad enough that you have to pay for it separately and it is $$ but it was mushy! ‍ I splurged for New Years Eve so this was $46 of my hard earned money down the drain. I assume that they precooked items (?) due to the holiday rush but they should not ever skimp on the quality of the food, especially when they have a good reputation. I will not be ordering from here again even though it used to be my go-to place...one that I could relay on to be fresh and tasty. I hope that this food is not indicative of how 2024 is going to be. If so, it's not off to a good start.

Yelp
Gone are the days of great Chinese food! Increased prices, less food, less quality, less flavor & less ingredients. Meal: * an entire HEAPING container of pork fried rice that had a spatter of pork pieces (no obvious onion, scallion, egg, carrots, peas or anything else) * about a 1/4 cup of boneless spare rib strips * 1-1/2 fried chicken wings (2 drumettes & 1flat) * 3 barely filled (flat) crab rangoons * 1 tiny container of duck sauce (about 2Tbsp) * 1 packet of soy sauce * 1 fortune cookie $16

Yelp
So the food was very good, even though it wasn't my 100% favorite Chinese in the area, but what makes this a five rating is the menu. If you're vegetarian be excited, because Dragon Dynasty has vegetarian lunch/dinner specials beyond that garbage vegetarian delight nonsense! This place has so many different special optygor the vegetarian crowd, and that just makes them top 3 in my opinion. Honestly, they might even take the number 1 spot.

Yelp
Lo Mien with chicken and vegetables, and Kong pong chicken with triple are tasty. I do recommend this place. If you are not Worcester local or don't have own transportation, take WRTA route 3

Yelp
In town for a couple days, and was craving some comfort food. This place hands down has the best chicken wings and rice in the area. Don't sleep. Try it out!

Isabella S.

Yelp
The place is moderately expensive, but so is everything right now, and we wanted to take a chance on it because it's in the area. We pay and get our food, sadly it was bad enough to make us physically sick. The place did not smell clean inside, and actually smelt quite repulsive.

Yelp
I'm really confused as to how this place has such high rating. I'm not picky at all when it comes to my chinese food. I simply love rice, so as long as a chinese restaurant can make a decent rice, I'll excuse anything else. This place ranks towards the bottom of most of the restaurants in Worcester. The rice was extremely bland and flavorless, I knew this before tasting it judging by its appearance(it was plain other than a couple pieces of pork). Because it had no flavor, it really just tasted like the oil it was fried in. The spare ribs were cut really small and really just tasted like sugar, the egg roll looked appealing, but when i bit into it i couldn't tell what the filling was(usually its veggies, but this looked dark - like ground meat??). The chicken fingers were ok although they were cold for some reason. I can usually clean off a whole container of Chinese food but I only ate about 25% of this and threw the rest away. I had eaten here years ago and did not remember it being this bad, unless my memory is playing tricks on me. I gave it to stars because the gentleman at the counter was really friendly.

Yelp
This is a great Chinese takeout spot (no dine in) that serves good, perhaps "authentic" food (or at least more authentic than most places I've been to). My family and I order out here a lot and our typical go-to's are the General Tso's Tofu, Ma Pao Tofu, eggplant in garlic sauce, broccoli in garlic sauce, hot and sour soup, and orange chicken. Both tofu and veggie dishes mentioned are always great and perfectly made. The GT tofu in particular is also a little crispy when fresh. The orange chicken comes with cooked Sichuan chilis and orange peels (both edible, especially the orange peels which are great) and add a lot of fragrance to the chicken. The only issue we've had so far is that the hot and sour soup tends to lack any vinegar to add to the sour, so it's just hot. The food is always made quickly and service is always great. Recommend for Chinese takeout needs in the Woo.

Yelp
It's really nothing to write home about but I'll say, when I was in college, I would have loved this place. It's reasonably priced, it's overwhelming, the staff is friendly, and it's easily accessible. I didn't eat in but the place seemed clean, I mean, you can see the cooks. I fed a family of five for $30 which is even hard to do at fast food restaurants now a days. I ordered the vegetable fried rice, some combination of appetizers, and sweet and sour chicken. I don't know what it was but the chicken fingers for the sweet and sour tasted like corn dogs - has to be the grease. My wife loved the fried rice. And I'm not sure what the chicken on the stick was supposed to taste like, teriyaki maybe? But it tasted like lemon pepper chicken. I can't say I'm sold but the family ate it up. I don't know that I'm a fan.

Yelp
The food was average. If you get pork fried rice the ingredients are rice, soy, egg, and pork. Very simple. This is just a small spot with 2 tables for those who need to stay and eat. The staff was very warm and kind. You know when business owners treat you like they know you had a choice of where to go and are glad you chose them? That kind.

Michele B.

Yelp
Worst Chinese food I've ever had. Have gone here for years but it seems like it's under new ownership.

Mike H.

Yelp
Terrible. What a greasy mess. Worst Chinese food in Worcester. Who are you people that find this 5 stars?

Yelp
until today i was an infrequent customer...it wasn't my fav but a stand out choice. until today. the boneless ribs were thin and lean like jerky basically we threw them out they were that hard to eat. we did ask for them 'extra done' the salamander usually caramelizing the sugar and fat into a nommie treat. nope think dry 3 day old flavorless canadian bacon cut into thin strips. the house special fried rice tasted of bean sprouts and rice...there was meat in there but zero soy, salt...anything. crab rangoons...i mean i like onion but shouldn't it taste some what of crab too? to be fair i was told the chicken teriyaki was yummy.

Yelp
We order from this place often. Highly Americanized but decent. Nothing special however. I usually get chicken with vegetables and my partner gets some other very basic Chinese/American dish. The staff is pleasant and the wait never too long. It is near us so yes, we will be back.
google avatar

Yelp
My chow mein was good. I planned to save half for later but ate everything. The place was clean with a few tables so I sat down. There were a lot of people picking up. They were fast.

Margaret M.

Yelp
The food was great. Pork lo mein, orange chicken, and boneless ribs were all very tasty. Orange chicken serving size was no joke. Quick service and parking on the side of the business is very convenient!
google avatar

Jose L.

Yelp
I ordered pu pu platter for 2 and chicken fried rice and everything was simply amazing. I will definitely be back.

Johnnie H.

Yelp
Ordered a dinner meal of Kung Pao beef, fried rice, and an egg roll. Egg roll was decent, but lacking much filling. Fried rice was mostly rice. Barely any egg, vegetable or meat. Kung Pao beef was mostly celery, barely any meat. The meat that was there was beyond fatty, full of gristle and barely edible. It seems that this restaurant cut the quality of the ingredients and skimps on the expensive ingredients to save money.

Yelp
Dragon Dynasty is your down and dirty Chinese fast food mecca. Food preparation is quick and reliable. Prices are fair. Come for lunch specials and get the most bang for your buck. Cheaper prices with the additional side (aka Crab Rangoon in my case). My go-to is Orange chicken, extra crispy extra spicy. Although the spicy part is only halfway delivered, they are very good at cooking the chicken to crispy perfection. Their crab Rangoon, although thin and mostly cheese, tastes surprisingly better than I had anticipated, as I have undoubtedly returned for additional helpings. Comes with a generous portion of rice. Store front allows for in-store dining after purchase. Simple and quaint. Mostly filled with patrons littering the door area waiting for their pick-up purchase.

Yelp
Yummy shrimp with broccoli and mushrooms with crab ragoon! Nailed it and customer service was accommodated .love it.

Thien B.

Yelp
This was my first time doing take out with this Chinese place on Highland St. and I must say I am impressed with the quickness and the customer service here. I got the dinner special during lunch hours. Beef and broccoli special with crab Rangoon. The crab Rangoon was fried and the filling actually had lots of crab and imitation crab (sweet and savory) and the wonton was fried to perfection. There were 3 in my order. It also came with lots of rice (pork fried rice) and the rice actually didn't have any veggies which I enjoyed. The order was delicious and the beef and veggies were tender I would make a visit back here!
google avatar

Maral M.

Yelp
Hands down, in this area, best Chinese spot. Got the Szechuan chicken with chicken wings, added crab rangoons. Oh, and small hot n sour soup. Been here multiple times and will continue to come again. Take out/dine in only but I think that's makes it even better. LOVE this place!
google avatar

William F.

Yelp
Decent Chinese takeout spot with all the dishes you're expecting. The quality is above average for Worcester and they have some pretty good Singapore noodles. Food advertised/requested as spicy doesn't really end up that way, but is easily fixed with chili oil at home (you should always have this on hand). If you live near WPI, Dragon Dynasty is very convenient. While better than most neighborhood Chinese restaurants in Worcester, its probably not worth driving across town for.

Ellen T.

Yelp
Food was terrible. Second try here. Never again. It's always empty and there's a reason for that. Not great service either.

Yelp
There were only 3 positive things I can say about this place. 1. friendly staff 2. Ample parking 3. Hot food Although it was hot it did not taste fresh at all. Usually when we get Chinese we don't leave a bite this time we barley ate any. I hope this was a fluke but I won't return and wouldn't recommend it.

Yelp
Certainly an unpretentious place on Highland Street. Everything is reasonably priced. They offer half orders Which is the only Chinese food restaurant of I've ever known offer that. There are other Chinese food restaurants and Worcester which in my opinion are OK and they have inflated prices. Every time I have gone there to pick up takeout You can see how hard all of the employees are working. I also had to door Dash deliver last week everything arrives perfectly packaged and hot. The spring rolls and chicken wings peking ravioli all excellent. I have never had the chicken teriyaki with the beef teriyaki or the boneless spareribs so I can't speak to that Highland Street can be very busy but they do have a very small parking lot and you will often see a line out the door that's because people know it's good

Dominic C.

Yelp
Great Chinese food, large portions and friendly staff, my personal go to spot for Chinese
google avatar

Paulo C.

Yelp
Not good. 1. The place is cold inside (in the winter) and has a strong smell of frying oil. 2. The food is extremely oily and in order to cheapen production they put way more of the cheap ingredients than meat, etc. 3. Not well organized. 4. Pictures on website and some reviews are definitely not of the actual place.

Yelp
I typed was in Worcester for work and had a craving for Chinese. I typed it into yelp and this place popped up with a great review. I was skeptical but decided to give it a go. I was treated by a very clean front room and from what I could see a very clean kitchen. Which already made me love the place. I ordered my typical chicken and broccoli dinner special with rice and an egg roll and it came to $9.58. Seemed like a standard price to me. It took just under the 10 minutes they quoted me and I was on my way. When I got to my car I was great with such a pleasant smell wafting from the bag. As I took the first bite the smell matched the taste. It was a flavor I had never tasted in a chicken and broccoli dish before. Extremely full of flavor with garlic and pepper and every bite was just as good as the last. The pork egg roll was also different and one of the best I've ever had. I would go here every week if I lived in Worcester. Sadly and fortunately I dont

Taylor M.

Yelp
Been my go to Chinese restaurant for almost 8 years. Delicious food and great staff - always gives me extra duck sauce and one of the only places in Worcester who never gets my order wrong
google avatar

Yelp
I lived in Worcester about 4 years ago and Dragon Dynasty was our go to Chinese Takeout. Even after we moved out of Worcester we would stop here if we were around but not anymore. They have gone down hill terribly over the past year or so. I don't know what happened but my wife brought home takeout for lunch today and "oh boy". The chicken was waaaayyy over done, the sauce was super watery, the crab rangoons were very oniony (which I wouldn't have much of a problem with if there was actually filling in it. Sorry but that will most likely be our last time get food from here. Sad day....
google avatar

Meaghan M.

Yelp
Just got takeout, they were being very careful with how they are handling the takeout. The women was extremely nice and generous with the sauce. The food was extremely good. We got dumplings and crab rangoons that are a 10/10 and the sauces are amazing. Would definitely recommend this Chinese food!

Yelp
Excellent food. Forgot a portion of my order once and fixed the problem promptly with multiple apologies. Tasty, affordable and fast!

Yelp
I concur with other reviewers. This is a great place to order take out Chinese food. My family and I were in the area for various reasons, and we opted to get some basics: young chow fried rice, Singapore mei fun, and beef chow fun. Everything was made to order and fast. When we arrived back in the hotel about 10 minutes later, it was still piping hot and delicious. I loved the fried rice; the mei fun was a bit spicy with its curry and pepper seasoning, and the beef chow fun is the typical greasy but heavy for its appearance noodles. While I was inside waiting for my order, a steady stream of customers came through, reaffirming our choice to try this place.

Yelp
I came to this place after reading some good positive comments. To me, it's not what I expected. Disappointed at what I ordered. Chicken lo me in was ok ok not much chicken and flavor was not that great. Rangoons could have better but not same as other restaurant that have better taste.

Ady N.

Yelp
Very friendly and Nice chef. He pays attention to your order and will prepare exactly the food as requested

Yelp
Good cheap plentiful lunch options, crab rangoons are almost totally empty however but the lunch specials are loaded with rice or lo-mein. Super cheap. Very quick.

Yelp
I just moved to Worcester. I looooove Chinese food. This place is perfect. I've ordered several times. Everything is great. I ordered pick up tonight. I got an appetizer combo. I asked for a substitution. Unfortunately they forgot. I called in once I got home. They took full responsibility and offered to either have me come pick up what I was missing or to give me a credit for a small appetizer. Great food, great customer service.

Yelp
My husband and I always order Chinese food from Dragon Dynasty. You will be not disappointed when you come here, you can see inside the kitchen, very fast and very clean and also their food is very delicious. We like their fried rice, boneless spareribs, orange chicken, hot and sour soup etc. Thanks Dragon Dynasty

Yelp
Love this place! Not a place to dine in at, but I usually do takeout anyway when we get Chinese. The chicken fingers are sooo good! I've never had a bad meal!
google avatar

Mike C.

Yelp
To me food was just ok. I expected the NY style Chinese fast food. The wings felt like they were from a frozen bag and the rice was super plain. Not my favorite. My wife and kids enjoyed their meal. Mine was the wings with pork fried rice.
google avatar

Yelp
It was my first time trying to do taking out here. It's an unpretentious place on Highland Street. All the food are sold reasonably priced. Chinese bosses are kind and warm-hearted, and they delivered me a sense of hometown taste when trying the food at their place. Many customers are students, and sometimes, I could see many people who just got off work and entered into the place to take their food out. The food can be prepared within only one hour so you will not wait for a long time. Highly recommend this place!
google avatar

Jeni D.

Yelp
Basic. Nothing fantastic. Not my go to Chinese place but it was good. Mostly college kids around to order
google avatar

Alejandro C.

Yelp
I went there with my parents to eat dinner. The cashier was very knowledgeable and recommended us some dishes. We are very bad for spicy food, and when the food arrived, we just couldn't handle it. So we asked to change it and they didn't even hesitate to do so. They were very comprehensive and efficient. I will definitely come back for more of their awesome taste.

Lalit K.

Yelp
Love Singapore noodles and prices are nominal. I can't say much about authenticity but I love the taste and you can't beat the prices

Maria B.

Yelp
The pan fried dumplings are seriously amazing and huge! Got these as takeout last week and will definitely be ordering again soon!

Yelp
Good is great i had tofu w/ broccoli and lo mein and king pao shrimp- amazing good spices cooked properly. The staff was helpful in making the selection.
