"Drake’s isn’t doing a prix-fixe menu. Instead, they're serving exclusive menu items for the duration of Restaurant Week. The Uptown beer garden with a massive patio has shrimp pappardelle, chicken parmesan, and ahi tuna poke tostadas. Plus, they’ll serve new non-alcoholic and low-ABV cocktails." - julia chen 1

"When you want to laze around a firepit in a well-worn Adirondack chair, all roads lead to Drake’s. The massive beer garden in Uptown Oakland checks all the boxes of a perfect “let’s grab a drink and catch up” spot. The wood-fired pizza, topped with roasted vegetables or bacon and balsamic glaze, is much better than your average bar snack. Sipping on one of their house beers by the fire is our preferred way to spend a Friday night.  " - Julia Chen

"All of Drake’s beers are on tap, plus you can order pizzas, pretzels with beer cheese fondue, and more drinking snacks. The service is iffy, but who cares as long as you’re sitting by a fire pit enjoying Oakland’s superior weather? Dog- and kid-friendly, as well." - Eater Staff

"Drake's Oakland outpost features 32 of the brewery's favorite beers on tap, as well as some lesser known experimental brews. Equipped with a woodfired oven, drinkers can order from a menu of pizzas, and sandwiches like the east bay muffaletta with mortadella, sopressata, and hot ham, or snacks like the popular red eye pretzels served with bacon fondue and spicy mustard. The spot often features live music so check the calendar to see whats playing." - Rodrigo Ormachea, Ellen Fort, Janelle Bitker

Very cool outdoor space. Plenty of heaters. Very lively. Limited menu. If you don't want pizza it's slim pickings. And those picking are pricey. Service happened to suck when I was there last. Not the case 2 times prior.

Google
10/10. Incredible lunch and afternoon hang for our whole family. My toddler daughter loved every bit of her pizza and running around the beautiful outdoor space. Great for all weather with built in hung heaters and fire pits aplenty. The crispy yet chewy pizza is fantastic and the beer is great.

Google
This is a local original Oakland pizzeria / beer bar. You can find long list of local and draft beers for sure accommodating all tastes. The beer list keeps updating with new beers. Beer lovers alert! Bar is more of beer / wine only. Plenty of space indie and outdoor. It's actually a very good place for outdoor seating with open area. I'd think not kids friendly, it's a great place for adult gathering, meet ups and even a cozy date. Not easy accessible at all. Steps and various surfaces involved. For food, pizza are wood oven baked and so delicious. Joey and classic are our favorite. Burgers are juicy and cook to order. Burrata plate is sooo refreshing and yummy. Best appetizer to share. Service is a bit choppy and waiter dependent. Overall good. Staff are friendly in general. It's per table QR code order. It's a great place all in all and will be back for pizza and burrata.

Google
The place is nice, quick and convenient way to pay and order at the table with QR code. Overall I loved the place with a couple exceptions: I tried two of their beers and it was really good. I ordered Dub pizza with extra sausage. When I get pizza it was a bit cooled down and with no extra tipping I ordered. I asked server about it but them didn’t bring it eventually. The pizza taste was ok. I would recommend this place and would be back.

Came here for my birthday. Food was great. However their outdoor heaters are dialed up a smidge too high. My skin got slightly roasted. The main reason we left really upset is that we paid nearly 50 bucks in parking. They advertise that they validate parking at the Hive parking lot. However, it is impossible to get a ticket without providing a credit card. Ultimately we have a phone number instead and assumed the staff could help us sort it out once we got in the restaurant. The staff flatly said they had no knowledge about parking validation and no way to help us claim free parking. So a dinner that cost $150, now cost $200. Cannot recommend this place as a result.

Duane Chirolo

Google
Great place to stop for a bit to eat and a cold beverage, it's a brew house. The outside area is an oasis and staff keep our glasses full. Parking is funky but discovered they'd validate too late to be helpful.

Google
Food was good and the ambience is amazing and relaxing! Pizza are sharable size for two so i would not suggest ordering one each. Came here twice, first time I got soup and mac and cheese and it was amazing! Second time got Pizza and Pesto basil with bread. The pizza was crunchy on the bottom and soft on top which i love but the flavor was ehh. I truly believe it was the pizza i ordered that was off what i originally get but i would go again and pick one i know ill enjoy. Overall one of the best spots in that area for food.

Wangari Mbuthia

Google
Drake’s is a great spot with good outdoor seating for a warm day. Unfortunately the food was rather disappointing. Had the garlic fries which were basically just bits of garlic in the fries and a meat pizza which was quite salty.

Loriell L.

Yelp
Came for drinks and got a few bites, the pork fries were so bomb i'm already planning to go back!! Ambiance was a vibe but it gold cold quickly so we left pretty early but if you snag a spot by the fire ugh I prob would never leave lol. Cheers!

Tish W.

Yelp
So this is totally a hipster spot. Our whole family and friends were in Oakland and my daughter-n-law (shout out an elite YELPER) made reservations here. I must say that I love the seating. We had a party of about 15 and we all sat together. It was outside seating and the ambiance was super trendy.... Now comes the complicated part. Everyone scans the QR code and places your order on your phone with an open tab. If you're older this might pose a problem if you're not technically savvy. I ended up ordering for my parents. The nice thing about the scan is everybody pays for their own stuff.. no worrying about splitting the bill or figuring out your total. I had the hamburger and fries, my daughter had the pasta and the pull pork fries, and my son had the chopped cheese. Everything was really good. I would definitely come back again. Btw if you really can't order from the scan someone will take your order....

GreenTara R.

Yelp
I very much appreciate this patio space for the Covid cautious among us. Very pleasant atmosphere. Friendly service. An easy ordering system (QR codes on tables). Service is FAST! I ordered the burrata which is great (I will add a photo eventually) Warm olives Brussels sprouts. I had a tasty sour beer.

Gisselle M.

Yelp
Stopped by on a Sunday and ambience was great. First time coming here with my bf and we will definitely be back. We got some appetizers & a pizza and it was all great would definitely recommend. We also got some cider beer and regular beer they have on tap. They give you a sample if you want to try it first which was nice. We also brought our pup which I love a good restaurant that's dog friendly. The servers were attentive even though you order through a QR code the service was still good.

Dorothy T.

Yelp
Great space with outdoor and indoor seating. You order through their QR code or a waiter. They are pretty quick with their food too. I had their pizza and their chopped cheese sandwich. Both were tasty. The spicy fries aren't spicy at all and quite sweet so I prefer their regular fries. Can't speak too much about the beers since I only had a sour and my friend didn't have any to drink. But overall a great place to chill and grab a drink and dinner

Yelp
Come for a late night hangout with some friends. We came here after an evening of climbing at Pacific Pipe and weren't disappointed. While nothing stands out in particular, everything we had was pretty solid. 1. Loaded pork fries - when the order came out initially it seemed like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for awhile. The fries were warm but not hot. We had to send them back for a new order. The 2nd order came out fresh and tasted solid. 2. The Joey - garlic sauce, mozz, roasted mushroom, roasted onion, parsley. A good pizza with a crispy crust and a perfect blend of ingredients. A perfect size to share with a friend or devour on your own. 3. Smores bread pudding - while it was a good tasting bread pudding, I didn't notice much of the s'mores flavor. Overall a good spot to make as a regular with the variety on the menu. I'm not much of a drinker, but I imagine they have a good assortment!

Yelp
Here's a spot that scores more points for ambiance than their food - though for the bar grub they make, it appears to meet the expectations of their target customer. That was the verdict Jamie W. and I came to after coming here in the midst of a mini-bar crawl we made from The Double Standard (review: https://yelp.to/8LKN2NG03E). As usual, we were in a peckish mood but not feeling particularly picky. We landed here when we realized we had never been before. That's because it appears targeted to the Gen Y to Z crowd, the ones that hang out in clumps and laugh way too hard at their own jokes. Is that you? Sorry about that. We gravitated to one of the outdoor patio tables little realizing the real estate value of the semi-private spaces with the fire pits. The staff appeared to be indifferent to who sat where despite the inevitable disappointment from the entitled. We didn't really care as it was like watching The Hunger Games watching youngsters gun for the fire pits. The menu was a casual grab bag. We first went with the $12 Loaded Pork Fries where a small plate of fries were topped with pulled pork, lime crema, cilantro, fresno chili, and spicy dust (photo: https://yelp.to/aV98sZJuor). We both felt they were too overloaded. However, the $17 wood-fired Dub Pizza was closer along the lines of what brought us here in the first place. Prepared New Haven-style similar to a Stouffer's French bread pizza, it was crispy good with mozzarella, Italian sausage, roasted mushrooms, and Castelvetro olives which lent a nice saltiness (photo: https://yelp.to/ZiWKzCjRk3). I could see coming back for that...and perhaps holding a fire pit hostage. FOOD - 3 stars...the loaded fries were a bit much, but the pizza was decent for what it was AMBIANCE - 4 stars...the expansive outdoor space is worthwhile on a pleasant evening SERVICE - 3 stars...a bit on automatic pilot TOTAL - 3 stars...youngsters appear to have the urban oasis of their dreams RELATED - Exploring Oakland? Yelp
Drake's Dealership offers a lively atmosphere with self-service dining. Can never go wrong with a spot that serves food and beer. They have a good variety of beer selection. Their appetizers and pizzas hit the mark. Reservations are recommended to secure your spot in this vibrant spot.

Yelp
Ambiance 5/5 - Honestly the best thing about Drake's is the outdoor seating. I have been here a few times and it is so cozy during the day and at night the fire pits are a nice touch. Service - 3.5/5 The service itself is fine but you essentially order on your phone via a QR code and don't have a great amount of human interaction with your servers. Food: 4/5 - I really truly enjoyed the Brussels sprouts and would come back just for that. They are toasted and served on a plate of labneh for a middle eastern take on this classic dish - so delicious! We also got the spicy fries which were super good but ran out of sauce before we ran out of fries. Our table got two pizzas. I am Italian and the Cousin Kyle pizza with mortadella, pistachios and pesto called my name - this is truly an Italian classic. But the pizza was actually kind of dry and I wasn't a huge fan, though we ate the whole thing. My good friend got the margherita pizza with mushrooms and his pizza was actually really good. I'm not sure if it's because their red sauce pizzas are just cooked better. Both of our orders came out at the same time even tho we ordered separately on our phones. I also love that Drakes is dog-friendly! We brought a well behaved German Shepherd and she had a really great time sleeping under our picnic table.

Mark S.

Yelp
Great food and beer in a beautiful outdoor setting. Pizzas are on point and the brussel sprouts were awesome. I always love drinking aroma coma, and the new beers we tried were excellent.

Sadaf S.

Yelp
Drakes is always my go to. They're spacious outdoor seating with all the fire pits are a must for me. It's my favorite place to sit. Recently I went and it began raining in the outdoor area so I retreated to indoors. I was happy and pleased by the indoor area too (I hardly sit there). There was even a fire place there. All of their beers are delicious and their food is so so so good, especially their pizza. Their service is great overall, some days better than others but I've always had a positive experience there.

Nastaran A.

Yelp
An Oakland classic. This place never disappoints! Good food and good vibes. Also good for groups. I love their whole outdoor area, it's perfect on those warmer Bay Area days. I highly recommend their pizzas, they're all delicious. And if you want a little snack, the spicy fries are very tasty.

Dan C.

Yelp
Drake's Dealership takes pub vibes to a whole new level. This former Dodge dealership turned brewpub boasts a sprawling open patio, the perfect spot for soaking up the California sun (or cuddling up next to a heater when it gets chilly). Inside, the industrial-chic space retains its automotive roots with exposed brick and a massive fireplace that adds a touch of cozy charm. Drake's offers a fantastic selection of beer from bold double IPAs to tart sours, rich stouts, and crisp pilsners. There's something to satisfy every taste bud. The food? Their wood-fired pizzas are a must-try, but the burgers, sandwiches, and appetizers are all delicious companions to their extensive beer menu. Whether you're catching up with old friends or looking to make new ones, Drake's Dealership provides the perfect atmosphere. It's a great spot to relax, enjoy a fantastic brew, and savor some seriously good food.

Rhonda H.

Yelp
Service and food was good. Love the atmosphere. We had a big party and everything went great

Jaime T.

Yelp
Food 4/5 Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 VIBE: - good place for a date, night out with friends, chill pets, really the whole family - inside has bar, tv's, and a fireplace - service is stellar FOOD: - I got a pulled pork sandwich (4/5) with fries - Best Coast IPA (5/5)

Evangeline E.

Yelp
LOVE THIS PLACE! Ugh. My mouth is watering writing this review. Their delish creamy garlic sauce to dip the wood fire pizza in and wash it all down with a cold beer is to die for. Make sure to get a reservation at least for weekends because it can get busy. My only annoyance is you have to order and pay all by QR code it isn't normal wait service which can be annoying. Really cool brewery vibes with nice lights and a firepit outside. Looks to be dog friendly because I see people here with their doggies!

Dave W.

Yelp
We were with our son (June 2023) and he, and his friends, decided to meet up at Drake's. This is our second time here (don't know why I didn't write a review last year) and it was terrific. Good food, good beer, good location ... The first time we were here, we sat inside, and it was fine. This time, we scored a fire pit outside and the service was awesome. You sit there and a server comes up to bring you your order ( you order by QR code)in a timely fashion. The beer menu is very good and we ordered a Purple Haze and All Meat Pizza. It was vacation, after all. The rest of our group ordered as well and they enjoyed their food - and beer! The beer garden is partially covered, in case of rain, and the trees and string lights add a nice touch. Nice repurpose of an old car dealership! It is a fun place and we will probably return in the future.

Brian V.

Yelp
4++ been drinking their beers for a while, but this was my first time in one of their actual spaces. Didn't realize prior to the visit, but this place is a full service restaurant (or whatever QR ordering is considered), with a good amount of beers on tap at any given time, the beertenders were friendly, and the space is really cool. The main room looks to be open air (so dog friendly I believe) with a nice garden feel. The bar area has an old world feel with bench seating and a large fireplace. I almost want to refer to it as a hearth, haha. I've always been curious... some friends and me went in blind (not a lot of research or looking at pictures). Didn't exactly know what to expect, but was thinking your usual pub/ beer space. We were there really to have a quick beer and check out the spot (as well as see if they had any bottles of 'The Void' left for purchase) on the way to dinner reservation, so we didn't order any food. The pizza looked great at the table next to us, though. We didn't see anyone order anything else during our short visit. Definitely a great spot to meet up as a group or just grab beers in general. We drove and found parking pretty close by. It was at night, so I think they have a lot, but couldn't tell because I'm not familiar with the area. Definitely on my list of places to visit or meet up with folks if I'm in the area.

Chloe C.

Yelp
Awesome vibes, beer, and food! Really liked the drakes' brew hazy ipa. The Brussels sprouts were some of the best I've ever had. They come with a labneh type dip. And their loaded fries were awesome too. The pizza also looked awesome but I didn't try it. Would definitely return.

Anna S.

Yelp
A cute outdoor area to hang out at! We came on a slightly cooler day and the inside area still had doors open so certain places felt very chilly. I do wish that they had either closed the doors or had more heating options around. The waiter was very nice - he pointed us to the water location but still kindly brought us glasses full of water. The roasted brussel sprouts were incredible: I really like brussel sprout and have a high bar and this met that bar. The seasoning and roasting were perfect - I would've been very happy to just eat two bowls of this. The roasted broccoli was also good. I thought the pizza was solid - but for a wood fired pizza, I expected the crust to be better. It was not bad but just a bit middling - it honestly tasted more like a pizza crust from a regular oven though because it didn't really have that strong char flavor. The excellent of beer was excellent, as you would expect from a beer hall. Overall, still really liked the place and would recommend for a happy hour or chill hangout spot.

Joseph W.

Yelp
Review on Friday 6/7/24 around Happy Hour time. Food and drinks were great and fast, but service and service staff are apathetic. The bartender seemed to be able to do one thing at a time. You can pour a beer and tell someone patiently waiting at the counter, "I'll be right with you," versus just looking at them. There was also a female server who just seemed she couldn't be bothered. Very apathetic in her answer to questions about the menu. Also, there was a fork on the ground with some food on the floor at the table we were at, and a table dropped a glass and no one cleaned it up. Staff walked right by it even after clearing the table when the people left. -2 stars for service.

Kelly K.

Yelp
As a self-proclaimed pizza lover, ;) I can confidently say that Drake's Dealership is a must-visit for any pizza enthusiast. Their Margarita pizza, with its thin crust, is absolutely delightful. The combination of fresh ingredients and the option to pair it with their delicious ranch sauce makes for a mouthwatering experience. The location of Drake's Dealership is nice. The ambiance of the place adds to the overall dining experience, making it a great spot to enjoy a delicious pizza and a good drink. The only minor downside was that the seating area outdoors could be improved, but it didn't overshadow the positive aspects of the restaurant. The overall vibe of the place is really nice, and it's evident that attention has been given to creating a pleasant environment for customers. Whether you're a pizza lover or simply looking for a great place to unwind with good food and drinks, I highly recommend giving Drake's Dealership a try. So, if you're in the mood for a tasty pizza and a relaxed atmosphere, head over to Drake's Dealership. You won't be disappointed!

Vivian F.

Yelp
I've returned to Drakes many times over the years. It's one of the only restaurants I know in the Bay that reminds me of a European beer garden. There are string lights in the outside garden and fire pits. There's lively chatter both inside and outside. The inside has TVs and looks like a beer hall. They make their own beer here and this gives it a local feel.

Becca T.

Yelp
Cute space and ambiance. Food is okay. You're paying more for the environment. I mean I always sit outside, never seen the inner area. Very dog friendly. Service is fast (however I know that the fries I ordered were apart of someone else's order and they just applied it to my table. They were not hot and crispy. The flat bread was fresh and hot and really good. Wait staff meant well Beers YESSSS!!! Food 3/5 Environment 4/5 Drinks 5/5

Stefan T.

Yelp
Love THE Dealership. Love it. Oakland at its best. Some personality and some beer. AND good food. Ambiance, beer, food.... its got it all. Personality packed. Older location with a beautiful beer garden. AnhPhoong. Perfect place to bum around on a Sunday. Lazy easy weekend. Sunday day of rest. No lawn mowing, washing cars or chase your furry friend with the vacuum. No, no... that is forbidden. Pulled pork was great. On a decent bun and with tasty BBQ pulled pork. Baby Wrinkles!! So much nicer than having to eat from the 21st Amendment food truck in San Leandro. Beer selection was huge. Overwhelming - I didn't even look at all the options. Just got the standard no nonsense. I think Americans love to tickle their tastebuds with different beer options. Traditionally in Germany this isn't the case. Nein! Nein!! Nein!!! People working here are dressed casually and blend in. Its a young crowd and very fun and friendly. Loved the host - she was so inviting. Beer and food ordered through the toast app. If you want to chat with the bartender before you order maybe sit inside by the bar - otherwise enjoy the outdoors.

Candido S.

Yelp
My family's favorite spot. I think it's one of the best spots for wood fired pizza in the Bay Area. The beer selection is great and always cold enough for a hot summer day. You place the order through your phone but the service is very effective. The food and drinks are always super fast and the waitresses seem to love their job. The place is very casual and great to hangout with family and friends. The only bad thing is sometimes the wait can be quite a bit but it's definitely worth it!

Benjamin T.

Yelp
Drake's dealership is a giant outdoor or indoor brewery that is a chill place to relax and hang out with friends. Lot's of locals love coming here! There is a parking lot entrance but not a couple blocks down the street has somewhat safe parking (it's oakland so just be careful) Lots of outdoor seatings so its good for big parties and pets are allowed The waiters are super friendly and chill and even gave us a generous pour for a sampler We got the fries and pomegranate cider, definitely pretty good if you don't want the IPA options. Highly recommend for a fun hangout spot with friends!

Nhi T.

Yelp
My friend wanted to try a new brewery, so we came here on a Saturday @12pm, it wasn't busy inside at all, like a handful of people and no wait, but finding street parking within vicinity was difficult. I looped around a few times and even went further down on the Main Street. Decided to just park in their lot @ $3 for every 15 minutes, that's just about SF street parking! No parking validation here either, unfortunately. The outdoor patio area was actually pretty nice/cool & dog friendly! Heated patio & you can order on the QR code. Service was quick & friendly. Beer was not bad, but not the best I've had. They do not have fixed flight price, you just create your own. The fries were actually pretty good, but we came on an empty stomach. Overall, better breweries out there with free parking. I'm only willing to pay for $10 max for parking to drink. Just call me cheap, but that's another pint.

Julie M.

Yelp
Drakes is our go-to spot! The atmosphere is on point with lush trees and plants, heaters for cold weather, and fire pits for cool evenings. The staff are super friendly and helpful and always contribute to a great experience. Theres a variety of seating available so it's a great place for groups of any size! The simple online ordering system eliminates the need to split checks or put everything on one card. Definitely recommend stopping by drakes for your next meet up with friends!

Dianna H.

Yelp
I've been meaning to check out Drake's, and I'm so glad I finally had a chance when I caught up with some friends for a Friday happy hour. We came around 5 pm and there was plenty of seating in the patio for the 3 of us. There's indoor seating as well, but it was such a nice day out and the patio looked lovely with the trees and overhanging plants, so it was a no brainer to sit outside. You can either scan the QR code for the online menu and order directly from there, or peruse the paper menus at the table, but I recommend ordering online as it's much faster and has the specials as well. It's primarily a beer spot, though there are some cider, wine, and non-alcoholic options as well. I got an iced tea for myself. We sat around and chatted over our drinks and eventually ordered food. They have a good variety of classic American fare, including pizzas, burgers, and sandwiches. I got the Dub pizza ($17), which comes with mushroom and sausage (I asked for no olives), and it was delicious. It's a thin crush pizza so you can finish it even if you have a smaller stomach space like me, though you may have to squeeze the last piece or two down. I loved the chill patio vibes here and will be back!

Binh T.

Yelp
Was able to sub my pizza with vegan cheese. Flavorful, quick seating, clean, fast service with the mobile order. Only wish the server would come by and fill our water, and clear our table more as our table was filling up fast. Con: meter parking, and it was hidden.

Kassie K.

Yelp
Drakes is a nice place to hang out with a big group, there are plenty of large tables to accommodate a larger party. A majority of the seating is outdoor but they do have quite a few heaters that make it feel like your aren't outside at all! The food here is always delicious, they offer a wide variety of options, including vegan options! The pizza was delicious, the fries were hot and crispy, we also tried the fried broccoli which wasn't for me but the sauce on it was good! The only negative thing I can say is that it's not in the best part of town. They have a small lot that is paid parking and seems pretty safe, if you do have to park on the street do not leave anything of value out of in plain sight or your window will be smashed.

Alice H.

Yelp
Drake's Dealership in Oakland is a beer lover's paradise. Their selection of beers, including Pale Ale, Pilsner, and IPA, never fails to impress. I first discovered the exceptional taste of Drake's beer at their West Sacramento location, known as Drake's: The Barn. Since then, I've been hooked. The IPA at Drake's Dealership is a personal favorite. The balance of hops and flavors creates a truly enjoyable drinking experience. Coupled with the relaxing ambiance and the option to unwind at the firepit, it's the perfect spot to chill and savor their delightful brews. Drake's Dealership offers an inviting atmosphere, combining a love for beer with a welcoming setting. Whether you're a beer enthusiast or simply looking for a place to unwind, Drake's Dealership is the ideal destination.

Chris B.

Yelp
I'm great beer, great pizza, great vibes. I wouldn't say it is the absolute best in any of those categories, but the vibe in the patio around a fire pit with a group of friends is hard to beat. This place is a main stay in my downtown Oakland spots to gather list.

Maisie W.

Yelp
4.5/5 Food is great and so is the vibe of the place. They also have wifi so I saw some people in there working with their laptop. Spacious outdoor w/ fire pits also. Definitely a good hangout spot if you are Oakland. You pay and tip through the app w/ your phone.

Cathy H.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday night and got seated right away. Sat outside near some heat lamps - those became a little too warm for me after a while. They have a QR code you scan to put in the order for your table, which was very convenient. We got the Flyway Pilsner and Faction - Anomaly. Pilsner was ok, probably a bit too carbonated than ideal. The faction was really good, smooth and creamy; it reminded me of a latte but in beer form. Highly recommend that one! Plus it smelled really sweet and nice, which was another perk. The service was quick, and the ambiance is super chill. Would totally recommend if you are looking for a chill spot to catch up with friends or go on a date. It's not too loud so you can hear each other talk and the decor is nice and green with lights. Price is also totally reasonable. Come check this spot out if you're in DT Oakland!

Yelp
I like Drake's! It's a really chill vibe and it's super easy for groups! I like how they have you order your food on your phone straight to your table and you can pay and order more all in one transaction! They treat it like an open tab at a bar so you open your tab and once your done eating and finished ordering more food or drinks you close it out. Easy peasy! I had the Mac and cheese this last time and it was surprisingly really good. I don't normally order Mac and cheese at restaurants but my husband was ordering pizza and fries and I just wasn't in the mood for a burger so I figured hey why not! Glad I gave it a try. We will be back again soon!

Yelp
Drake's has great ambiance and the place to be on a nice day in Oakland. It is a large space with both in door and outdoor with some fire spits. The pizza was delicious and good enough for 2 with many many beer and wine selections to choose from. The food and drinks came out super quickly after a quick and easy ordering process through a QR code. Looking forward to coming more often in the summer!

Yelp
Drake's Dealership is always a treat to go to. I love the ambiance as it is mostly outdoors and it's pretty cute with the lights and foliage. I'm not a huge fan of the food here, and much prefer the tots and nachos at the brewery in Alameda, but the fries are good. Uneven, but good. You order via QR code and it's really easy to go with groups, as you can easily take care of your own bill. Service is quick and friendly.

Yelp
I came here for a reunion with some former coworkers since they have a large outdoor patio/dining area. I ordered the old school pizza but we also shared some fries, both the spicy fries and garlic fries. I thought the pizza was just okay, I did like the mozzarella and pecorino pieces but otherwise it wasn't particularly remarkable and the crust is relatively flat and flavorless. I did like the fries, they were well-seasoned and juicy without being soggy and it also came with sauce (I believe aioli-based) to dip in. Service from the waiters was friendly, and we ordered by scanning QR codes with our phones.

Yelp
Had been to Drake's for a drink with my husband and decided this would be an ideal place to host my 50th birthday celebration---don't wait to be celebrated, celebrate yourself...always! I worked with Armand Wesley--the hospitality & event manager-- he was amazing! Super patient with the million questions I had and gave me great recommendations of how to set up, what to order, etc. He definately knows what he's doing and does so with a fantastic customer service and a charismatic personality. I ended up reserving the Utica room and chose the pizza party with a couple of appetizers and some pitchers of beer. Perfect! My friends were able to set up the place as we wished and decorate and we brought our own playlist. My birthday was an absolute hit! My guests raved about the food, the beer, the atmosphere and simply loved the intimate space and had a fabulous time! Oh and there's a parking in the back for $30 or in a lot across the street for $10.

Yelp
Great outdoor sitting and dog friendly! Service was great, very attentive. I enjoyed the pulled pork and side salad. Really yummy! We had all kinds of fries for appetizers: regular, spicy and garlic. Garlic fries wins. The cheesy bread was as yummy. The Arnold Palmer was refreshing! We weee a huge group of 12 and we were served so graciously. Thank you for a great lunch experience. I'm not much of a beer drinker but my colleagues enjoyed their tap beer.

Yelp
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, bring back the jalapeño face burger!!!! THE BEST BURGER EVER, SERIOUSLY!!! I hope that it comes back next season. That's the ONLY thing I want and it's gone!. I haven't been back since it left, I turned on tons of folks to it. To the head chef, PLEASE BRING IT BACK.

Yelp
Drake's is still a solid option for a bite and a beer. Great place to come if you a dog in tow. The patio is really large, there are fire pits along the edges if you get chilly. I don't love ordering by QR code, but for a place this large I totally get the need to do so. Love that they have a lunch menu available until 3 that includes personal sized pizzas. The lunch combo with half a sandwitch and fries or a salad is also a terrific option. The beer list is solid and there is always something fun to try. I really enjoy the casual environment with no need to rush.

Yelp
Unfortunately, I have to adjust my review to reflect my most recent experience here which was not good. I don't recommend the personal sized pizzas because they claim they are 9" but most of it is burnt crust. You'll be lucky if you get about 2" of toppings. I had a sausage mushroom personal pizza which only had one sausage and about 5 small slices of mushrooms. It was mostly bread (not even much sauce and cheese)and very unsatisfying! If you really want pizza, it might be better to get a regular small size instead. Another strike from the rating is because of how they handled an incomplete order. My friend ordered a jalapeño burger that didn't include jalapeños. When the waiter was alerted to this issue, his response was to just tell us that it only came with jalapeño jelly on the burger. When we looked back on the menu later, it clearly states that the burger comes with "fresh jalapeños".

Yelp
Drake's Dealership in Oakland is a beer lover's paradise. The service is great and the outdoor ambiance is lively and rustic. With a fantastic selection of craft brews, a welcoming outdoor beer garden, and delicious wood-fired pizzas, it's a must-visit spot for those seeking a laid-back and enjoyable beer experience. If you're into sours please try the 'Unholy Alliance' and for a great dark barrel aged option the 'Death of the Sun' is great!

Yelp
I haven't seen this mentioned in recent reviews, but my GPS (Google Maps) was so confused trying to navigate here by car. At some point after circling through 24th to Valley for the third time I gave up. I started searching for street parking and figured I'll walk to find the building. Once I was parked and looked at the map and found the building it made sense. The building is almost in the middle of a plaza and the entrance to the lot was more like an alley. The interior of the beer garden was very pretty. It really puts the garden in beer garden. It's such a nice lush green escape from the rest of the surroundings. Plenty of seating on a Friday afternoon. For food I ordered the personal sized elote pizza. Also tasted the Chaos is Mutual hazy IPA and the Czech Ya Later czech. I was quite stuffed from the personal size pizza. It's a thin crust. Some parts (bubbles) were burnt black. The flavors of the elote were great and balanced. A great pairing with beer. Heavy on the cilantro. My friend ordered The Ex personal pizza. He was only able to finish two slices and packed the rest home. Both beers were quite light. Especially the Chaos is Mutual was a lot lighter than other hazy IPAs I've tried. I suppose looking at the alcohol percentage it would have been a clue. Service was prompt. You order through a QC code/Toast on your phone. Menus were both in paper forms at the tables and online. The pizzas came out quickly. It's a really nice addition to Oakland.

Yelp
Go here if you want a lovely outdoor seating experience. This place reminds me of the beer gardens near Munich, Germany. The outdoor area is quite grand. Lots of seating with fire pits and comfy chairs. The food here is fantastic. Its a full-service restaurant. And the beer selection is to die for. They had 32 beers on tap. FAST FACT: Why is called the Dealership? This old brick building sits on Oakland's old Auto Row. This building was the service department of a Dodge Dealership! Note - they do allow you to bring dogs to sit outdoors, but ask that you keep them on leash. PRO-TIP: Want the food but don't want to head downtown? This place cooperates with DoorDash for deliveries.

Yelp
Lovely, spacious spot for a casual weekend meal! Family friendly, both indoor and outdoor options (with plenty of heat lamps and a mix of sun and shade), good food. THE SERVICE Good, no complaints. Staff is available and also chill. Very easy scan-and-order system directly from your phone, which makes it easy with a big group. THE WAIT We arrived right when they opened, a few minutes past noon on a Saturday. I had been worried because their online reservation system showed no tables available until 2:30pm so I wanted to nab the few first-come first-served tables I assumed were left. We had nothing to worry about; we were the first ones there and had our choice of where to sit. THE COST $76.95 total including tips/tax for 3 beers, 2 entrees, 1 side. THE FOOD * REUBEN SANDWICH ($17.00) w/ GARLIC FRIES (extra $2.00) - 4.5 stars Excellent reuben, with very oily/crispy/delicious bread and flavorful thick cuts of meat. The fries were thick with a nice crisp. * THE '89 ($16.00) - 4 stars A tasty pizza! A tad on the oily side but enjoyable.
