Wood-fired pizza, house beers, and lively outdoor beer garden

"Drake’s isn’t doing a prix-fixe menu. Instead, they're serving exclusive menu items for the duration of Restaurant Week. The Uptown beer garden with a massive patio has shrimp pappardelle, chicken parmesan, and ahi tuna poke tostadas. Plus, they’ll serve new non-alcoholic and low-ABV cocktails." - julia chen 1
"Drake’s Dealership is the best place to let a “quick drink” inevitably turn into an hours-long hangout. The patio at this Downtown brewery and restaurant could fit a fleet of AC Transit buses. It’s filled with well-worn Adirondack chairs, firepits, and tons of room for toddlers to treat the space like their personal parkour course. They also have excellent wood-fired pizza and wine, beer, and cider on tap." - julia chen 1, lani conway
"When you want to laze around a firepit in a well-worn Adirondack chair, all roads lead to Drake’s. The massive beer garden in Uptown Oakland checks all the boxes of a perfect “let’s grab a drink and catch up” spot. The wood-fired pizza, topped with roasted vegetables or bacon and balsamic glaze, is much better than your average bar snack. Sipping on one of their house beers by the fire is our preferred way to spend a Friday night." - Julia Chen

"All of Drake’s beers are on tap, plus you can order pizzas, pretzels with beer cheese fondue, and more drinking snacks. The service is iffy, but who cares as long as you’re sitting by a fire pit enjoying Oakland’s superior weather? Dog- and kid-friendly, as well." - Eater Staff

"Drake’s Oakland outpost features 32 of the brewery’s favorite beers on tap, as well as some lesser known experimental brews. Equipped with a woodfired oven, drinkers can order from a menu of pizzas, and sandwiches like the east bay muffaletta with mortadella, sopressata, and hot ham, or snacks like the popular red eye pretzels served with bacon fondue and spicy mustard. The spot often features live music so check the calendar to see whats playing." - Janelle Bitker
