NOLA’s Turkey and the Wolf to Pop Up at Barrel Proof | Eater Nashville

"Starting March 21 and running through May, I can visit the Shark Bait pop-up at the Dream hotel’s lobby boat dock, where shipwrecked boats, fishing cages, and nautical decor transport visitors to the depths of the ocean; themed cocktails include the Chomp Chomp (a classic Mai Tai served in a novelty shark cup) and We’re Gonna Need a Bigger Bucket (pineapple, blood orange and lime juices, Aperol, and a High Noon served in a sand bucket), and the bar menu leans coastal with fish and chips, calamari frites, and crab dip." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

6 Fun and Freaky Halloween Pop-Ups in Nashville - Eater Nashville

"Dream Nashville’s seasonal pop-up bar, “The Cocktail Factory,” brings Willy Wonka’s world of pure imagination to downtown with themed cocktails and bites (like the Oompa Loompa with Licor 43, orange liqueur, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal milk with a green cotton candy garnish), fluorescent gumball light fixtures, golden gates, and a larger-than-life outdoor mural of Wonka himself. The pop-up resides in the hotel’s Parlour Bar and is open from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

Great experience. We were there with a few other couples and one of us was upgraded for free to the penthouse which was unbelievable. The penthouse was very nice and and clean. The space was huge. It had 3 bathrooms, a pinging table, 3 living spaces, a bedroom, and a closet that looked like something you’d see a movie star owning. The shower had think three rain style heads and deep jacuzzi tub. I would guess at least 5 big screen TVs throughout the space. We were very appreciative and it gave us a space that we could entertain. At one point we had about 25 people comfortably hanging out in there.

Positive: I loved the location and how close it was to broadway. The staff members were all so friendly. We experienced some issues with the toilet in the room and they were able to switch our room for us AND upgrade us to a suite. The hotel was very clean too. Negative: The room we were assigned initially was a bit small. It was also pretty dark, even with multiple lights on. Otherwise, it was perfect.

I'm adding to my husband's review, which, you cannot find here. We've stayed here before. Everything about the hotel was amazing, but now, it appears, Hyatt owns it, and we won't be back. 2) The room had a horrible smell to it. 3) No cleaning service the 1st night. We had to make 2 separate requests over a2 day period to finally get it done. 3) The lobby is off the scales obnoxiuos/noisy from the DJ, who's located at the entrance to the restaurant, literally right where the lobby is. The front desk staff couldn't even hear us when we asked questions or needed or something. 4) Despite having an interior room, the bass from the music downstairs banged in out room until at lest midnight. For what you pay for these rooms, we expected better.

I’ve been to Nashville 3 times. By far the best I’ve been treated was by Wallace and Ebony. They treated me with respect, hospitality, and integrity. I highly recommend staying here at the Hyatt dream. Much love.

Elijan was awesome. He helped us with making sure we knew where we were going and he helped us with our luggage. The Valet staff was one of the best spent a wonderful time, enjoying my birthday at kitchen, and it was truly a blessing to experience it

Elijah was an amazing valet! Such great service and so friendly! We had a super pleasant night in downtown Nashville and everything was super easy to navigate with the valet! Thanks again!

Google
This was such a great hotel! Rooms were comfortable and accommodating. Location was far enough from Broadway to feel peaceful, but close enough if you’re into that sort of thing. Pro tip - plan ahead because valet takes at least 20 minutes to retrieve your car.

Google
Elijah was absolutely outstanding! From the moment I pulled in, he greeted me with a warm, professional attitude and made the entire valet experience seamless. He handled my car with care, was quick yet thorough, and even took the time to offer directions and answer a few questions I had. It’s rare to find someone who is not only efficient but also genuinely courteous and personable. Elijah truly went above and beyond — excellent service all around. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Good basics at this cafe. Very kind service. I had only 10 minutes and this place delivered it perfectly in time.

Yelp
Mary is simply the best! The Nature Cafe stood out amongst a sea of coffee options, a rough sea. This sailor will be back!

Yelp
Love this hotel! If you're looking for a good time, this is ur place. The whiskey sour was on point and they have a great DJ which really set the mood. The staff was very attentive and the place is just beautiful. Location is amazing just around corner or printers alley! I didn't eat here but the menu did look good. The coffee shop was a bit over priced but delicious.

Yelp
Perfect place to start the morning. Our barista Mary was amazingly nice and incredibly talented. She made our day not once, but twice during our visit to the Music City. Mary's hospitality and grace transformed our morning coffee run into something unforgettable. Five starts out of five.

Yelp
After a long night and early morning, I was blessed by exceptional service from Mary down in the cafe. If you want to start your day off on the right food, give them a visit!

Yelp
Natura is a great, pet-friendly coffee shop along 4th Avenue north. The coffee and pastries are consistently good. Indoor dining area is very comfortable. There is some outdoor seating as well. The service is especially good and friendly. Shout out to Mary, our favorite barista. She always brings a pup cup for our dog.

Yelp
We tried out Natura Cafe today and it was a perfect lunch spot! It's a small cafe tucked in the Dream hotel. The cashier and barista were friendly and competent. The cashier answered all my questions about the hotel, the restaurants and the 70's dive bar in the basement. Such a fun place! I ordered the Maverick Club and it was hearty and delicious. Definitely enough to feed two. We ordered some fries with cilantro sauce for the table. I love good french fries and these were perfect! I also ordered a fancy coffee and the name fails me, but it came with a toasted marshmallow and was so good! The pastries and cookies looked yummy too. This is a great spot to meet up for a coffee or quick lunch! There's also valet and it's only $5!

Yelp
I came here with friends for lunch, we wanted to try something new. The menu is pretty simple; mostly breakfast items with a couple of salads and sandwiches. I ordered the breakfast tacos, which were supposed to be chorizo, eggs, "coffee stewed black beans," and crema. It was clear upon arrival that weren't any beans, and when I asked I was flatly told that they were "in there." Well I'm here to tell you, Not. A. Single. Bean. The tortillas were hauntingly similar to the corn tortillas that I buy in Kroger, except they were so dry they immediately disintegrated upon picking them up. The salsa was also strikingly similar in both taste and appearance to Pace Picante. The chorizo tasted more like ground pork, not much seasoning to speak of. No sides. $12 before tax and tip. My friend ordered the Omelette, which is supposed to have Benton's Country Ham. The ham was pretty grey looking; she was a bit nervous about eating it, so I can't say how it tasted. The side salad was good, I tried it. The candied nuts and pickled red onions were tasty. She had also tried a muffin the day prior; for $5, it was super dry and not very special. I took a taste and was not very impressed. My other friend got the tuna sandwich. It looked fine, but for $12, I would expect more than a small pickle on the side. Not a fan.

Yelp
On a busy weekend in Nashville where the coffee shop on the corner near our hotel was teeming with tourists, we happened this newly opened, sparsely populated, and elegant little spot on 4th Ave. The cafe is in the Dream Hotel but it fronts on 4th Ave and anyone can wander in. They have cozy corner seating or a bar overlooking the street which we enjoyed. The latte was beautifully adorned and delicious (and expensive). But we were happy to find a quiet, sophisticated place to have our morning coffee. The menu offered breakfast dishes and the pastries at the counter looked great. We just had lattes, but I would recommend this spot.

Yelp
A nice spot inside the hotel to grab coffee and they also have some bottled beverages in their fridge for grab and go. However the female staff working there was quite rude.

Yelp
Been wanting to try this place for a hot minute now, after hearing so much great stuff about the incredible staff and delicious crafted beverages. Stepping into Natura felt like an absolute dream; between the gorgeous architecture of the shop itself to the hilarious and friendly staff, you truly cannot beat Natura. I had the pleasure of speaking with Marty for a brief moment, but that short conversation started my day off on the right foot. The entire staff was friendly, the shop was clean, and the patrons were happy. Highly recommend stopping in here whether you're just visiting town or working downtown. Personally, I get the cold brew - simple, but beyond expectations. Too many previous cold brews I've had from other locations have been far too bitter, but Marty and the team brew some of the best around. Now that I'm back downtown more permanently, I can't wait to keep including Natura as part of my daily routine. Thanks, Natura!

Kate W.

Yelp
Sadly this place failed as a coffee house today. My $5 cappuccino was made so poorly I had to throw it away and walk over to frothy monkey to get a decent one (caps are just over $3 there). For the high prices that Natura charges the milk should not have been burnt and there should have been at least a hint of foam. I would have addressed it with the barista but she was also operating the register with a line of people waiting so I didn't bother.

Rebecca M.

Yelp
Subpar. Americano had no flavor. Tasted more like very watered down drip coffee. After spending $17 on two coffees and a cookie we left wishing we had tried one of the other many local coffee shops.
