Neighborhood hangout offering beer and cocktails, plus live music, pool tables, and food trucks.
"The team behind Drinks Lounge and Little Drinks Lounge has created a tiny empire of laid-back neighborhood bars across Austin, and Drinks Backyard is no exception. It’s a little south of the airport on 183, so you probably won’t stumble upon it by mistake unless you’re heading out to the COTA racetrack. But once you make it over, you’ll see a small indoor bar connected to a massive backyard with more picnic tables than you can count and a 20-foot screen playing sports, movies, or whatever else the staff throws on for the day. The cocktails are cheap, and it’s home to a couple of food trucks serving BBQ and pizza, making it that much harder to find a reason to leave." - nicolai mccrary, raphael brion

"The Drinks Lounge bar family expanded into Pilot Knob with this very outdoors bar with lots of drinks and food trucks (Smokin’ Brew-B-Q and Nocco’s Napoletana) at hand." - Erin Russell, Nadia Chaudhury
"The new Pilot Knob bar from the Drinks Lounge team includes boozy hot drinks. Find similar options at their other bars (Drinks Lounge on East Cesar Chavez and Little Drinks on South Congress). There are indoor and outdoor dine-in areas." - Nadia Chaudhury
"Drinks Backyard is the sister bar to Drinks Lounge on East Cesar Chavez—one of our favorite spots in the area for a low-key evening, complete with affordable drinks, friendly staff, and a very casual atmosphere. Here, though, the bar is set on two acres in Pilot Knob, and home to various food trucks." - Nicolai McCrary
