Drop Bar

We stayed at Green Valley Ranch MLK weekend. We went to this bar on Saturday night and our server was great and my husband said it was the best Old Fashioned he’s ever had. We came back Sunday night and sat for about 15 minutes until we got up and asked for service. The bartender said she would se d someone over. We waited another 10 minutes and she finally came over with a lot of attitude. We watched her standing and chatting with another employee before she came over. My husband ordered his OF and it was nothing like the night before. It came all foamy with no cherry. We asked for the check and left really disappointed.

We had a great time at the new Drop Bar a few weeks ago on a Saturday night. The bar has a cool round design, with a gold bracelet ceiling, jewel-like hanging chandeliers, and panoramic views of the casino floors. The atmosphere was lively and fun, with a live DJ playing upbeat music and people dancing on the floor. The service was friendly and attentive, and they also has a variety of other hand-crafted cocktails, as well as premium spirits and bar-top gaming. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a chic and exciting night out in Henderson.

Located inside Green Valley Ranch this refreshed oasis exists. They just reopened this bar last month. It’s clean new and fully stocked. A great place to grab a drink chat with friends or play some video poker. Price is great. Drinks are comped if you’re playing. It’s nice to have service of your favorite drink right in front of you.

The drinks were good but the DJ sucked. He outright denied requests and played outdated music. #notdrippingitlow

Fun bar with great drinks! Loved the bartenders, ambiance and service.

The bartender has no awareness of the surrounding bar. She was too busy socializing with a patron to notice all the waiting people. When she did finally turn around after 10 minutes, she said “oh shit”. Then started walking towards us and said “who’s first?….. When we replied, “we are, we are first!”… the bartender ignored us and went straight to the causians down the bar. I know she heard us... She chose to ignore. The bartender’s excuse is the other bartender went on a break... Its called accountability and awareness of your surroundings. Tuesday night 10/22 around 8pm

Beautiful space, but the bartenders are what keeps us going back again and again! Patrick and Aaron could not have been more friendly and outgoing not to mention their impeccable customer service! So happy they were working our entire time at Green Valley Ranch!

Stopped in for a couple drinks. Sat in one of the seating areas. Sat for about 15 minutes, neither of the bartenders stopped over, both walked by at one point or another. Looked at us, no hello, one moment, be right with you, nothing. I understand when places are busy but they were not. Don't bother stopping here..

No food here, just a bar but it's a great bar that I've frequented a few times and I've never done a review! The service is always great and we feel treated well as locals when we go, thank you! It's a circular bar and Friday nights they have an awesome DJ with a cool Mohawk who spins ALL jams! We had fun sipping on our espresso martinis and chatting it up with some occasional belting out some tunes! So much fun and the bar watching is hilarious!

This bar is in the heart of the Green Valley Ranch casino. You can hear the live music and crowd far away from the bar. It is kind of small and there are comfortable chairs to sit in. I went with our group of 6 and we got lucky finding a table to huddle around. I ordered the drop dead gorgeous and it was a gorgeous drink! It had sparkling rose, absolut, passion fruit, lemon and a hint of vanilla. I thought it was great value too because it came in a big glass. The waitress was very nice and sweet. It was a little loud for her to hear our order because of the music. I do wish the music was a little quieter because we were shouting at each other to talk sometimes. Overall, this is a nice bar and enjoy a drink before gambling.

My first time coming to gvr and I love trying their center bars at the casino. I either order an old fashioned or a dirty martini. I went with the old fashioned this time. I was very hesitant because it came dark. Usually it's a little lighter, but wow it tasted really unexpectedly delicious. Gustavo was the bartender and he was quick with the service.

It's been a minute since I've reviewed this bar and honestly, it's one of my absolute favorites. It's located inside Green Valley Ranch hotel & Casino, and is absolutely stunning! On weekends in the evenings, they even will bring in a DJ to add to the vibe. There's gaming at the bar if you're interested in that and I've never ever had an issue with servers or bartenders here. They're always so friendly and nice! And the drinks are sooo good. They have some specialty drinks but also the regular gin and tonic type of drinks, too. I've had a few of the specialty ones before and they never disappoint. If you don't want to game, they do have some seating around that is more of a lounge style and then even some high top tables, too. It's a great place to grab a drink if you're stopping by GVR. I went this past weekend after getting brunch at Bottiglia and it was such a great vibe. Definitely will be back and highly recommend stopping by this bar for a cocktail.

Bet some and then had a few drinks at this bar in the Green Valley Ranch in Henderson. It conveniently is located in the casino with tons of slots in reach. Drop Bar is one of those typical overpriced casino bars. Looks pretty basic much like others in a casino. There's a good amount of seats all in front of video poker screens. A pretty typical looking casino bar. It's located close to the south entrance. Take a walk past a few slots and you'll get here. Basic overpriced things to get. Typical it seems. It's about $12 for a basic cocktail. There's certainly lots of cheaper places to get this kind of stuff. Each seat has a video poker screen in front of it. The more you play it typically gets you complimentary drinks or it's supposed to. Of course it's become stingier than it used to be. The drinks are pretty watery for what they charge to be honest. Cool place to hang out a bit. It's a pretty typical bar in a casino. There's places to get the same stuff for better prices.

Tucked right in the heart of the casino, this, intimate bar is a hidden gem. I visited for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. I tried their Bloody Mary, which was not only delicious but also priced at a reasonable $10. The bartender was friendly and attentive. The seating area is beautifully designed, offering a luxurious ambiance. I left feeling quite satisfied and will definitely return.

After dinner at Bottiglia we stopped here for after dinner drinks. This is a nice center bar inside the Green Valley Ranch Casino. No matter where you sit you will get a slightly raised view of the casino floor. Our waitress Brittany took good care of us all night and at some point a DJ started providing the live music to keep the good vibes flowing. All of the drinks were well made. Good hang spot.

This place has become a brighter, sleeker venue with the strong drinks and music video's/sports playing. Wish the bar was expanded because the bar tops are almost always full! There is a lot of cozy lounge couches and chairs surrounding that main bar. Bartender Brandon can be found here and he can make you a myriad of drinks here. He is on trend and also schooled in the classic concoctions. Their other bartenders are also attentive. A place to be seen so dress up if you feel glam!

Standard bar in the GVR casino. Had a jack and Coke for $12.50. You can find better drink options during happy hour at the surrounding restaurants though.

I've got to say my first review was written 5 years ago & I just read it. Since that visit I haven't had any bartenders charging me for drinks while I gambled. I was just here the other night & Drew was the bartender & he was AWESOME!! Great customer service & made me a really yummy shot when I asked for something sweet. He was very attentive & was able to handle the customers around the bar. You could see he can fully handle his job & enjoys working here. They still play great music here & I still haven't had any big winnings here yet! LOL

Got to experience the A TEAM! had Aaron make me an old fashion with makers .. made it in front of me seen him stir the drink & always had him make a one of a kind Jameson espresso martini! Well shaken with extra foamy rim!

Met friends there we are locals. Loved the remodel! Brandon & Shawnna were great! Wished the Barback would cut more fruit instead of the bartender having to do it! We usually bar hop around we came from dinner to come hang

Great place to chill and drink with friends on a Saturday night. My friends and I came around 6:30pm and there was plenty of places to sit. As it got later, the music started playing louder and all the seating areas were full. There are TVs around the perimeter playing sports but I wouldn't go here to pay attention to a game. The presentation of some of the cocktails are also so beautiful, like the Drop Dead Gorgeous. My favorite was the Drop it Likes it Hot because I like my cocktails with a bit of spice. Highly-recommended!

Beautiful bar!! I love this place! The entrance itself is impressive. Inside is dark and sexy. Large bar seating and then comfortable lounges. There's no more menus but the waiter was funny and awesome by dragging the menu from the entrance to our table just for me to scan the QR code. My drink was delicious. Great spot to start or end the night!

Located in the GVR, this is a hip bar surrounded by the table games. With good music and cool decor, I can see this as a great place for locals as well as out of town people to lounge in and get their drink on. Prices are reasonable if you don't want to wait for a cocktail waitress and there's a good amount of room to sit back and relax. You won't feel out of place if you're. Not dressed to the nines but will see a few people here wearing their fancy weeknight attire. When I visited, there was a bachelorette party group getting their glam on and enjoying themselves. The bartenders were fast and the drinks were strong. This is a good place to see and be seen if that's what you're looking for. I'd definitely come back again when in the area. The drinks were unique and had interesting names. Presentation was great as well & Gustavo was a great bartender! Even the scenery of the bar was nice as well.

The ambience was nice for a quiet Tuesday evening cocktail after dinner for drinks left a lot to be desired. We ordered a classic old-fashioned and the bartender created this strange concoction that neither tasted like an old fashion nor was prepared like one. So we ordered something off of the drink menu and it appears they put the wrong garnish on top and another bartender came and corrected it behind her. we are it gets pretty fun on the weekends, so I'll consider coming back and helping someone can redeem my old-fashioned debacle then. Lol

Over priced, ghetto shit hole trying to sell craft cocktails while failing miserably. The servers are rude, the video music is stuck on a relentless loop of the same crappy five songs and the best seating is 'reserved' even though the entire bar is less that 10% full. Definitely check out the incredible chandeliers and then walk out. It's a bit shocking how awful this bar is given that the rest of the hotel is really nice.

Pretty bar, and delicious pear martinis. I've read the other reviews, and I don't find 10 for a drink to be excessive or uncommon. Pretty normal actually. Great people watching here, and I enjoyed seeing the music videos to the songs they played. My only complaint is the ridiculously strict mask rules. Even at your own table you have to keep your mask on. They even want it on between sips... . I find that excessive, but ok.

While out this bar had the Golden Knights game playing and was not crowded so decided to order a drink and watch the game. The bar is very inviting and love the purple lighting. The purple lighting outside drew me in. The bartender was very friendly and filled my order of a cranberry and vodka very fast too. The drink was great and so was the very view from the massive flat screen that was positioned perfectly for viewing the Knights game. What could be better than hockey, cocktails, and purple.

24/7 bar?!?! Get outta here! I'm visiting from Salt Lake City, Utah where bars close at 130am. The beautiful purple bar caught my attention and hypnotized me to walk in. I didn't get the name of the bartender, but she made a boozy concoction for me: the Stockholm Royale. It's a strawberry champagne lemon drop drink. Bubbly, tasty, and the sugary rim added just enough sweetness! I only had time for one drink before heading to the airport to fly back home. Definitely a bar you need to check out if you need to get away from the strip and before you fly home anywhere!

Great vibes! Great ambiance! And great drinks! They also have great music playing! They do not have food here or do not allow food in so be warned! This is a great place to come for a drink.

Came in here on a Saturday evening/night. Our cocktail waitress was super nice and the drinks tasted good. Ordered simple drinks with top shelf liquor and weren't disappointed. Ample seating around the bar top and lounge. There was a dj who was playing some great 90s and 2000s music; however he looked absolutely miserable and dead inside. Definitely would come back.

I'm a semi-regular here and enjoy the more "upscale" gaming experience offered herein! And they still play music videos along with the usual sporting events on the many screens in this circular bar. Although the purple & black decor doesn't seem dated, perhaps it's due for a remodel given the recent renovations throughout the casino (new restaurants, etc.) I think this bar has been pretty much the same since Day 1 back in 1997. Note- no draft beer here. Perhaps that could be the first update made to the bar! They make a fine Manhattan, however, or practically any other specialty martini you desire!

Well, the music was a bit better tonight (6/30) and the volume was reasonable. It was noticeable however that at around 7pm, the "dance" beat started and volume once again increased as well......guess that sort of equates to "last call" for those of us over 40. I do appreciate Management acknowledging my reviews. I and others still don't like the fishbowl feeling and wish the two curtain walls could be closed sometimes. Would intrigue customers to coming in to see what's it's about.

I absolutely LOVE this bar. The thing I like about it the most is the very comfortable seating areas adorned by a breathtaking ambiance and lighting. The choice of couches instead of chairs makes this spot a perfect date location! While it is just a "casino bar", it does not cease to amaze. The cocktails are well made and not watered down. Granted, while you are paying somewhat of a premium price per cocktail here, it is absolutely worth it. The cocktail waitresses are kind and friendly, not pushy or annoying. Henderson residents truly have a gem in this spot.

It was nice inside with lots of comfortable seating. We had a comp so stopped in to get a drink it would be a nice place to hang out on a date with nice leather couches and it's really dark. The drinks were pretty expensive so it wouldn't be my regular bar. The bartender was really friendly and the drinks were good.

A cool bar in the middle of the GVR casino. Been twice now and we like it for what it is. Service is good and the drink menu is interesting. A good spot with a group of friends.

I was here to grab a drink before dinner. It was very quiet for a Tuesday afternoon. I tried out the Island Martini and it was the best drink I have ever tasted in my life. I even took a picture of what ingredients were required so I could try making one of my own at home. I would definitely come back here another day!

This little bar / lounge is located inside the Green Valley Ranch. Right across from Hanks. Inside its really laid back with a dark modern contemporary theme. There are big comfortable couches to relax on and big enough for just 1 or a group.Very cool. The bartenders and cocktail girls ate all really friendly and will talk and sit with you - if you got it like that. The drinks options are really any and they'll accommodate about any request for specialty or exotic liquors. Drink prices are a little on the high side but well worth it if you're interested in the entire experience. Theres a huge variance in customer types. So you can go most any day or night and feel that your in the right place. If you have "special needs", then take ur fantasy to that spot( make sure to tell me - just for research of course ). To sum it up: I love this place for a bunch or reasons, but mainly cuz I can relax even when its busy I like the flowwwww.

Great bar with good bartenders. Video Poker machine kept me playing for a good 30 minutes until it swiped $120.00 from me. That's $60.00 buck's a Heineken. Fu$k! Fun fact- Green Valley Ranch Resort and Spa does not appear to be listed on Yelp. Only the Spa or restaurants inside the hotel. Go ahead and look it up yourself. Notta. How is this possible? Great hotel. Plan on staying a night next time we return to Vegas.

Bartenders are always super attentive. Love the ambience and music they play inside here. Not my go to spot for drinks but I will say it's nice to have this option inside of GVR if you want to escape the casino floor.

Every casino has a bar in the middle of the casino floor (at least in Vegas) and the Drop Bar just happens to be the one for the Green Valley Ranch. Expect drink prices to be $10+ for various cocktails that would cost less than $8 elsewhere. Its all about the scene here, with the lavish / posh velvet seats and eye candy surrounding the circular bar. This is certainly not so much of a place to mingle as it is to observe the scene like any pretentious place in Vegas. Overall the bartenders are friendly and the drinks could be more strong. While one should never go out of their way to come here, its barely worth coming here while on the casino floor at GVR. One would be better off getting their drinks from the cocktail waitresses.

We stopped in for before dinner cocktails starting off with margaritas that were no particularly good. Fared better on the second round with my wife ordering a tequila sunrise and me with a sea breeze.

We loved Drop Bar in the Green Valley Ranch Spa & Resort & Casino. The artistic chandelier is a perfect centerpiece for this fun lounge. Bar staff were very personable and fun. This was our favorite little corner of the large resort that had so much to offer. We will be back & of course recommend to friends & family.

Tiny bar on the gaming floor at GVR- it looks upscale, but the prices are the only part that match. Service is not attentive, barely had time to down my drink before dining elsewhere on property, defeating the whole point of stopping. Come with company to be entertained, because their TVs are not conveniently placed (or tuned) to enjoy a sports game.

I've been coming in to Drop Bar for over a year, and service is consistently good. I get "free well drink" tickets every week, when I cash my paycheck, so I always pop in here for a quick shot of whiskey or tequila. Their well drinks are not great, but they're higher quality than some places... Its dark, and sometimes they have live musicians, which is fun. I can't comment on the prices, because I always use my free tickets here, but the service is definitely good...I'd probably stop in here for a drink without a ticket, if I'm in the area.

Great bar inside of the Green Valley Ranch hotel. Went in and was sitting at the bar and the bartender asked us if we would be willing to move to a lounge chair because some other customers wanted to gamble. No problem, we ended up having a huge lounge space all to ourselves. Went on a Saturday night and the DJ was playing a great variety of music. The drinks were good and the ambience was nice. Only thing I would recommend is having a cocktail waitress for customers who are in the lounge area. We had to keep getting up and going to the bar for our drinks which was a big deal but it would have been nice to have a cocktail waitress.

I've been coming in here for well over 10 years super cool laid back vibe! The bartenders are excellent and very attentive. The drink prices are a little expensive unless your gambling so keep that in mind. Even though it seems kinda formal inside casual dress is okay. After all we are in Vegas who wants to get dressed up for drinks anyhow

Center bar at Green Valley Ranch. Feels similar to the center bar at Red Rock, but without the super hot bartenders and servers. Drink prices are expensive. Gaming machines tight. Also not the best for finding a TV to watch the game on...they have them but they are small and not in the best locations. I've had some good times here in the past, with some buddies doing fireball shots. This time wasn't as entertaining. Very mechanical.

My friend Esther and I were meeting friends at Fado and we got there a little early and had some time to kill. Neither of us had ever been to the Drop Bar and since it's just across the way we dedided to, uh, drop in. Normally, a place like this would get 2 stars from me. It's more of a casual ultra-lounge filled with cocktail dresses and sportcoats. Kind of a pre-club get-together place if you will. The drinks are pricey, the TVs show a smattering of nothing worth noting, and while the music IS a little more varied than other places it still runs the line of wussy and boring for me. However, the room is just so visually fun, and really, really comfortable. The sphere lights, smooth edges, and crisp whiteness of everything invokes a 60s mod feeling that's just out of this world and completely removed from the casino surrounding it. The barstools besides looking awesome are actually comfortable, as is the bench seating around the perimeter. I wouldn't go out with the express purpose of hanging here, but if it came up I wouldn't be completely opposed.

Located in Green Valley Ranch , Hotel, Casino, Spa. This is the super swanky and groovy bar in the center of the casino floor. The service is incredible, no attitude just gratitude. On the weekends they have live entertainment and a DJ, so what's not to love. Take a break from the casino floor and stop in for a drink. Live It Up You Are In Las Vegas For Cryin' Out Loud!

Went to the Drop Bar in Green Valley Ranch for the first time since it's been renovated. I will say it's very nice, but 2 martinis cost us $33.60 + tip. Before the renovation, 2 martinis cost about $25. I don't get the big increase in prices, but I won't be back. Locals should not get gouged like this. These are Strip prices without the Strip. There are plenty of other places to get a drink.

I sincerely hope that my friend sues this bar after the night we just experienced. First we entered Drop Bar with my friend's husband, a person with disabilities who uses a cane. After placing an order at the bar, we took a seat. Note that I and my business partner were in for the day on business and my friend and her husband are local. Before we had finished a single drink, we were informed that the bar would no longer be able to serve our party due to the supposed inebriation of myself, my friend, my colleague, and her husband who was drinking iced teas. I feel that we were blatantly singled out and targeted as a group of people who brought an individual with disabilities that made the waitress uncomfortable. And she instigated a situation that would drive us to leave. The main bar staff had taken it on authority from this waitstaff member (that none of us had ever spoken to) that our party were incoherently drunk and should no longer be served. On top of everything else the woman who cited this claim was incredibly biased and unkind stating for example when we asked why we were not to be treated like normal customers, that my dear friend is ugly...inside and out. What? Never in my life have I heard such an atrocity spoken by someone to another human being ... let alone to a woman who is the caretaker of a husband who is currently experiencing clear physical and other disabilities. The bar staff literally stated that her husband would no longer be served. He was drinking Iced Tea. This experience was traumatic for all of us. Security was called and ultimately encouraged our party to leave. I spend money at this property. I loved this place. I am ashamed of this behavior.

Tiny place, the bartenders took forever to ask my order even though the place was less than half full. Nothing special in the way of drink choices. Not worth it unless you are staying there and need a drink before going to your destination.
