Green Valley Ranch’s new Drop Bar opens this weekend | Eater Vegas

"Reopened December 18 as part of the resort’s 20th-anniversary celebration, this central casino-floor bar features an urban-chic remodel with panoramic views, bar-top gaming, live DJs and jewelry-inspired decor — including a gold “bracelet” ceiling, column grilles accented with glistening jewels and gem-like chandeliers. Signature cocktails include the Mic Drop (Basil Hayden Dark Rye, Cynar, Campari), Drop Me a Line Sometime (blood orange- and rosemary-infused The Botanist, blood orange liqueur, Mediterranean tonic), the Drop Dead Gorgeous (Absolut Elyx, Crème de Fruits of La Passion, lemon, vanilla, passion fruit, sparkling rosé) and Drop It Like It’s Hot (mezcal, ancho verde, cucumber, lime, agave). A DJ spins every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; Sunday through Thursday bring a Late Night Social with monthly drink specials from 9 p.m.; and beginning in January there will be an industry-focused Wednesday night event, “Drop Everything,” with a live DJ and drink specials starting at 8 p.m." - Susan Stapleton
