The staff was attentive and gracious — they handled the salad issue professionally and made an effort to make things right. They even comped a glass of Donum Estate Sauvignon Blanc, which was a thoughtful gesture.

Perfect ambiance. The space is beautifully decorated, warm, and inviting — a lovely setting for a relaxed, upscale dining experience.

Light, fluffy, and a perfect blend of flavor and texture. A great start to the meal.

Preston Strawberry Salad

Disappointing. The strawberries looked bruised and unappetizing, which threw off the whole dish. I mentioned it to the staff, and they kindly replaced it, but it must’ve just been a bad day for strawberries. I didn’t eat it, even though the dressing was amazing and hinted at what the salad could’ve been.
Roasted Alaskan Halibut
Grilled spring onion, fava bean, baby carrot, artichoke, Preston wild nettle beurre blanc
Very delicious. The fish was perfectly cooked, and the accompaniments were bright and flavorful. A highlight of the meal.
Butterscotch Cheesecake
Wild pecan crust, spiced apple, toasted oats
Just okay. The texture was nice, but the butterscotch flavor felt distant — more of a suggestion than a standout. Paired with a 2oz pour of **Cossart Gordon Sercial 5yr Madeira (\$10)** which added a nice finish.
