We had a fantastic evening dining with friends at Dua Trattoria. From start to finish, the experience was top-notch.
Our server, Audi, did a wonderful job taking care of us—attentive, knowledgeable, and personable throughout the night. Nic, the owner, even stopped by our table several times with food, wine, and cocktail recommendations, which made the experience feel even more special. Every suggestion was spot on.
We kicked off the night with a couple of the signature “Nic” Old Fashioneds, an Espresso Martini, and a bottle of Quilt Cabernet. The cocktails were excellent—the Old Fashioned is a must-try for anyone who appreciates the classic, and the Espresso Martini stood out because they make it with real Espresso from a proper machine, which made all the difference.
For appetizers, we had the Breaded Ravioli and Bruschetta. Both were good, but the Breaded Ravioli was the star—perfectly crisp crust with just the right texture inside.
For mains, our table enjoyed the Lobster Ravioli, Short Rib Ravioli, Mario’s, and the Bone-In Veal Parmesan. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully prepared. The Veal Parmesan was especially memorable—generous in portion and cooked to perfection.
Between the outstanding service, warm atmosphere, thoughtful recommendations, and delicious food and drinks, Dua Trattoria has quickly become a new favorite. Highly recommend for a night out with friends, a date night, or anyone looking for elevated Italian dining in Frisco.
