Went for a girls date and the place is toooo cute. Flowers all outside. The cutest patio. We were greated by a hostess who was so lovely and kind. The food options looked so amazing we had difficulty choosing items but luckily no one regreted their dish. They have a huge list for desserts and they are very unique. Cant wait to come back for more For apps, i got the goat cheese dip with bread. Bread was soft and outside crunchy. They put seasoning and drizzle oil on there and the dip was so nice. We also got the meatballs, it was shareable and very well seasoned. We enjoyed it very much For entrees, I got the eggplant parmesean—so well seasoned if i didnt know better, it taste like chicken My girls got beef stroganoff and chillean sea bass (a special)—which was very flaky and buttery. Thanks to Adi and *bitza*

The tapas here are absolutely fantastic—each dish is crafted with care and bursts with flavor! The service is outstanding; the staff is attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The drinks are perfectly mixed and complement the food wonderfully. The ambiance is warm and inviting, striking the perfect balance between lively and relaxed. A must-visit spot for a great dining experience!

My husband and I went for date night and we left disappointed. We ordered 2 Aperol spritz and the mini beef wellingtons and 2 pastas. The alla vodka pasta definitely needed a lot more salt. I got the green one which I can't recall but I think it was the Prishtina and the spinach filling was super salty. The server was great and the ambiance was nice as they did have someone playing live music but the food and drinks just weren't up to par. I wouldn't recommend.

Great lunch Half price wine, 3 times a week is best deal in town Filling time I didn’t see main dish better than the appetizer The miso frito wasn’t good and the carpaccio was bought somewhere looks like Main dishes were yummy Friendly service

I hosted 10 of my friends for my birthday dinner this past weekend and everything was phenomenal. The food, the staff, the ambiance, and the service were 10/10. Private room has no charge which is rare to find, and the staff was super accommodating in letting me decorate the room and table as I pleased. Upon arrival I also found out that all the beef and lamb is Halal, which totally changed the game for the rest of the night as majority of the guests ate halal. They were also able to accommodate changes in many of the dishes that contained an alcohol based sauce. Lots of great mocktails as well. My guests highly enjoyed the cevapi appetizer, veal shank and short rib ravioli. I highly recommend this restaurant for date night or for a large occasion!! I’ll definitely be back!

Google
My wife wanted to come here because of the high ratings. The waitress recommended the veal that wasn’t on the menu. It was overcooked and tough to chew. I only had a couple bites. The taste was not very impressive either, just really salty. That entree alone was $58. Very overpriced and overrated. It’s also difficult to get the waitress’ attention.

Google
We had the bruschetta. Caprese salad. Sea bass and chicken Parm. Chocolate lava and the marscapone for desert. When I say this is the absolute best food I've had period. Everything was perfectly cooked and presented. Service was amazing 🤩 and the owner is just a doll going around greeting people and running drinks and food all night. New favorite found.

Google
Great Italian restaurant with some delicious and unique Albanian cuisine. The service from Audi was above and beyond. The owner came by and was greeting most all patrons. We will be back!

Yelp
Perfect Private Party Location! I hosted a retirement party for my mentor tonight at DUA TRATTORIA, and they pulled off an amazing night for us. We had 50ish people and plenty of space in their private rooms. Food was raved about by all of our guests all night. The service was perfect, Sabina is amazing. The owner (Nick) was checking in to make sure everything was perfect, from the food to the temperature of the room. If you're looking for a great party space, check this place out. Everyone at the party was beyond impressed.

Yelp
Delicious food. Mostly good service. Based on other reviews, we made a reservation at 6pm for a Saturday evening. As we arrived, we were the second table sat. I'm guessing needing a reservation is hit or miss. We'll continue to make them when we return because by the time we left at 7:30, almost all the tables had been sat. The service was kind and mostly attentive. I think once I had to waive the server down to get the soda my daughter ordered 10 minutes earlier. A small thing. Dessert was fantastic! No pic, sorry! But so delicious! We will return! It was a fantastic dinner!

Yelp
Our favorite restaurant in Frisco/Plano. Nick and his family are great and have created such a unique and awesome atmosphere with great food. The location is perfect. Easy to park...and the menu being an Italian/Mediterranean blend is unlike any other restaurant in the area. It's clean, beautiful and the service has been top notch every single time we've been. We've eaten here more than any other restaurant in town. Highly recommend any meal, any day and any occasion.

Yelp
I have been wanting to go here because everyone in Frisco raves about this place. First and foremost, the service was spectacular. We only had four people but were seated in a massive, comfortable booth. I really enjoyed the Cevapi (Lamb Sausage) which was accompanied by an excellent sauce. From there, I didn't care too much for the main entrees. I had the Paesano and there wasn't much flavor to it. I enjoyed the simplicity of the olive oil sauce but wished there was more to it. The Lobster Fra Diavlo was so bland but the Julio Caesar was slightly better.

Susan D.

Yelp
What a great evening we had! Our waitress Sabina was amazing. The food was delicious and the drinks were perfect.

Yelp
Tip: Make a reservation on Saturdays. This place was pretty packed on the Saturday that we were there. Food: I ordered the Cornish Hen, which was a lot of work, but WORTH IT. The chicken was very well seasoned and was juicy after being roasted to perfection. I wish the veggies had more seasoning. The Brussels sprouts were just boiled and did not taste like anything. It was disappointing! Ambiance: Live music was playing on the stage. It was very low key music so people can talk at their tables. However, because of how the building was built, sound bounced a lot off the walls and ceilings. The place was loud! Service: our server was great! She was stretched thin with the amount of tables that she had to support, but she was still friendly and came by to check in. I liked that her manager helped her out whenever he could!

Yelp
We came in for dinner on a Saturday night - the place was relatively happening. Nice ambiance and bar area. We tried the Cevapi which I highly recommend ! Very juicy, flavorful, and moist. The entrees were ok - I got the lobster ravioli and my fiance got the lasagna. Sadly, my ravioli was not served hot - it was just barely warm. Portions are relatively small - ravioli comes with 4 pieces. But I was full The service was amazing - our waitress was very sweet and attentive. You can tell the owner is highly involved as well - which I can always appreciate. All in all, a good experience.

Yelp
Everything is fantastic. Food , service, ambiance. Family owned and you can feel the love

Yelp
Decided to give this place a try for something new. The staff were friendly but our dishes were "ok". The pasta did not seem fresh and was a bit tough. The charcuterie board had 4 types of meat and just 3 tiny wedges of cheese. It was nothing special and had the smallest slivers of apple that left you wondering about their purpose. Once we received our food, it was like our waiter avoided our table. We saw him frequently walking around, straightening tables, and just when he would look in our direction, he would turn back around and disappear. We had to wave him down for the dessert menu and then again for the check. I wouldn't return based on our experience.

Yelp
Good food ambiance and portions. Extremely nice staff! Ordered the goat cheese dip appetizer which was delish and the Bombolotti which was unique and really good!

Yelp
There are so many good things to say about this place. You walk in the door and you are greeted by a friendly hostess. We went on a night there was live music and to top it off bottled wine was half price. Everyone we met was so friendly. This is the kind of place you want to make it your go to place. The kind of place you want to take your friends. The food was excellent. We started off with fried calamari and a beet salad. We followed that with Eggplant Parmesan, lobster over pasta, a mixed seafood dish, and a Branzino. We finish the evening with tiramisu and coffee. We highly recommend this place. It was amazing! Go now.

Yelp
The Food, Service, and Ambiance here are truly exceptional. Nik, Chris, Sabina, Audi, and the crew make you feel like Family. The welcoming vibe and energy of this place speaks volumes and is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Vllasaliu Family. We had patronized Eddie Napoli's for several years and I was excited to hear that Nik was branching out when this place opened a few months ago. This is our fourth visit and it continues to be our go-to for Mediterranean Italian Cuisine. Started things off with Mediterranean Margaritas this time. It is clear that only the freshest ingredients are utilized in its preparation. Chris was able to strike just the right balance of flavor and sweet without being too tart. We were also able to enjoy some Garlic Bread with Olive Oil/Balsamic for dipping prior to our entrées. Mom ordered the Beef Stroganoff, I ordered the Prishtina with Lobster (per Chris' suggestion), and we split a Berry Olive Oil Cake for Dessert. Such good food. Will always be on our list of regular restaurant rotations.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. Chris was a great server, very knowledgeable and friendly. We had two appetizers (meatballs and one of the appetizer specials) and both were flavorful. I got the salmon and shrimp special that comes with basil risotto...it was delicious! My husband had the meat lasagna and he added sausage... he said it was amazing. The crostini that came with the meatballs was a hit and we saw other tables order them with just some olive oil and balsamic to dip in, we will try that out next time. Lots of great dishes on the menu, can't wait to go back and try other things as well!

Yelp
Discovered this place from yelp! My son was wanting speghetti so we looked up a new Italian spot! We were seated and noticed the art work on the walls. Very nice touch as some were interesting to talk about. Food was amazing. We ordered the Fritto Misto, very tasty and unique batter. I enjoyed the crispy shrimp that's added on along with the two sauce! I definitely enjoy both sauce. One was tomatoe based and not sure what the white sauce was. However both complimented the shrimp, calamari, and onion strings. We ordered the short rib ravioli, Dua, and speghetti with meat sauce and meatballs for my son. All three were amazing dishes! I definitely would recommend them. Ingredients were fresh, and food was amazing. I enjoyed every bite! You can tell each dish was well thought out and put together perfectly. Customer service was perfect ! Nick and Rdeeda, took the time to speak to is even when they were busy. Nick was very warming as he wanted to ensure we had a great meal! You can tell he enjoyed what he does and put alot of care and love into his establishment! I recommend this place to anyone who's looking for an enjoyable meal! I'm coming back for their brunch! Ask for Rdeeda when visiting. I'm sure I spelled her name wrong ! Apologies! She's an amazing server! Everyone there were friendly and attentive. Must Try!

Yelp
This little gem of a place was very impressive. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting, also very classy. As nice as the inside is, it did not feel out of place to wear jeans. The service was wonderful. Sabena was very attentive and had such a lovely personality! Our food was out pretty quick, but we did go at a time of a day where there were. It a lot of people. The food was delicious! I loved their bread and olive oil/vinegar mix, the the bread is different from typical Italian places. It was seasoned and cooked in olive oil already, but very good. We had the calamari which came with two sauces and was also good. My guy had the lasagna and I had the Duas. I loved my dish. The flavors were wonderful but if I could change one thing, I'd want there to be more pasta. For 28 dollars I'd like a good helping of pasta with my seafood. Also it did seem a little overpriced considering the amount of seafood that was on my plate. My guy liked the lasagna as well, but he commented that it seemed a bit on the cool side like it wasn't cooked all the way. The flavors were still great all that too say! Lastly, they do make an amazing cosmo.

Yelp
Hubby brought me here for my birthday. The dinning experience and food was excellent. The owner came by and checked on us and our server constantly made sure we were enjoying our meal. Can't wait to come back our new favorite neighborhood place.

Yelp
We visited the new Italian restaurant in Frisco where the Black Walnut used to be located. They redesigned the decor very nicely and feels very upscale. The waiters have very snappy outfits with cool aprons. We started by ordering the appetizer and the entrees at the same time. I would not suggest this as they brought out the appetizer with the food. The entrees were mostly cold by the time we finished the salad. I would highly suggest not ordering all the food at the same time. We went with the beet salad because you have to love a beet salad and it was good. The Paesano was very good and all the ingredients were fresh and made for a very good fresh and healthy pasta dish. The lasagna we very good and well with a good meaty taste and not just the cheese and pasta. However, all the portions felt small and when compared to the price didn't help the perception. Both pasta dishes could have used a side of bread to make them not feel so small and a bit more filling. So, you do need to order an appetizer so you don't leave hungry. The do not have any desserts. Given for food portions everyone will have room to want a dessert so this is something they need to work on. They really just need one signature and really knock it out of the park dessert like a fantastic Tiramisu that is a decent size and would have made the meal. They are good and deserve a visit if you want to try a good Italian restaurant but can use work to bring them up to a 4 or 5 star. They had only been open about 11 days we went went so might work some of this out.

Yelp
We missed out dining here on NYE due to the line even with a reservation but we were intrigued by the menu and wanted to still try it out. We went back last night and the food was AMAZING! Tons of flavor! Reasonable prices and good quality/quantity for the price. Our waitress was awesome and attentive without being smothering! Atmosphere was nice, very comfortable and clean! We started with the goat cheese dip, FANTASTIC! The bread and dipping oil were even excellent! For entrees we had the Branzino and the Pollo Parmigiana and we thoroughly enjoyed both! The fish was fresh, cooked perfectly and the roasted potatoes were full of flavor! The chicken was one of the top 3 chicken parmesans that we have had easily. Their sauce is delicious! Overall great experience and we ate all the leftovers which rarely happens!
google avatar

Kylee L.

Yelp
The food was ok but not great unfortunately. The prices were very high for portion size and the level of cuisine. We tried the bruschetta and calamari. The calamari was the best part of the meal. We had the eggplant Parmesan and lasagna and have definitely had better at quick causal restaurants. Dessert was much better... the baklava cheesecake was the best of what we sampled.

Yelp
Wonderful Italian food that lets you enjoy all the different textures and sauces and flavors. Shockingly good.

Yelp
Went there for lunch with a girlfriend. It was not very busy. Service is great, staff is very friendly. Food did take a little too long considering we simply ordered 2 appetizers and again, the place wasn't busy at all. The food was good, I wish they had better lunch options, maybe something lighter than pasta but more filling than a salad and more creative than a flatbread. The have a very nice aesthetic and the restaurant looks very clean.

Yelp
Great food and great service! I especially love the chicken parm. Their pizzas are also excellent. Great atmosphere inside - nice but not too upscale. Great neighborhood spot. Love it!!!

Yelp
We did a banquet for about 30 people here last week and everything was perfect! Food was amazing, they were super accommodating and took great care of us! Keep them in mind for your holiday events!!

Yelp
Arsim was the most incredible server. We have been here all day. We first got her at 1 and have been here till 8. He has refilled our drinks all day. Our food was incredible. We had brisket ravioli, buffalo & lemon pepper wings, and cevapi. Lindy had our drinks out instantly. We love this restaurant. Don't be surprised if we're sitting here very weekend!

Yelp
I had such high hopes for this restaurant and was really looking forward to trying. Beyond disappointed for the following reasons: -The grammar on the menu should have been our 1st sign...so many misspellings along with basic grammatical errors -Alla vodka very oily -Goat cheese appetizer was very basic and only for 2 -Alfredo sauce also oily and lacked flavor -Informed they make pasta in house, did not taste as such -Service was ok, nothing exciting, server was not knowledgeable about sauces or wines, was honest when he did not know answers -Do not take reservations -No table bread or Parmesan cheese It was over $150 with drinks, appetizer, entrees, and dessert for 2. Gallo Nero or Quartino are significantly better for the same or less price. Will not be back, doubt will be here in a year if this evening is any indication.

Yelp
I was glad a new place moved in here after Black Walnut left. We came here a few days after it opened, and they were still working through the soft launch phase. I thought they did a great job brightening things up, and I love the fact that it is now table service ( Black Walnut was not). They even added a little stage for in the front corner for live entertainment, great addition. The menu had an assortment of starters, salads, and entrées and there was a full bar with wines, craft beers on tap. And cocktails. We had the charcuterie, and it was very good. The meats were top notch, and the bread was very good, although they did not include enough of it based on the price. I was a little disappointed that there was not a pizza selection but rather flatbreads. I think they would do well in this area with a better Neopolitan style pizza option, especially against tough Italian cuisine competition like Gallo Nero down the street and Cane Rosso in the Star. Regardless, my wife and son got the flatbread, and they liked it. I was torn between the egg plant parmegiana and the meat lasagna. I went with the latter. It was a large portion and tasted fine, but it was not as flavorful as I was hoping. The service was excellent. Our waitress was extremely helpful and answered all our questions. I really thought they did a good job on the decor, and hopefully, it will continue to improve.

Yelp
Oh my goodness. I love this place. I have done lunch here on two occasions and dined here in the evening and the food is delicious. Great ambience, the service is great and some evenings there is live music, which is a treat. Today I had the Paseano, which is so good and ended the meal with a smooth coffee liqueur. If you live in Frisco or are visiting please make sure to eat at Dua.

Yelp
Was so delighted to hear an Italian restaurant moved into this location. Understanding they haven't been open long I am giving grace on my review. The inside is very nice with a center bar and even a area for live entertainment which is contained to the front area, I was in the back room area and never heard the music from the front. We were quickly tended to and ordered drinks. Ordered an appetizer, then our entrees. I had heard the lasagna was delightful so was excited to try it. After the appetizer was brought I inquired if my drink was coming, the server said he'd check on it. The short story is my drink never did arrive. I asked three times to the point our entrees were delivered, I eventually walked over to the bar and got the drink myself. The manager and our server were tending regularly, I mean very regularly, to the table behind us I'm not sure why our server couldn't have asked his manager for assistance at any point. Ultimately, the manager came by and said his server was young and didn't know how to handle the situation. He said he'd remove the drink from the bill. The lasagna was very good. The portions are on the smaller side. The beet salad was also very good. It would be lovely if they were to add a bread side especially with a sauce forward dish, or even a small roll and butter for the table. There are no desserts yet, may be because they are still new.

Yelp
EARLY REVIEW... this from the first day in business. It is definitely worth trying! We will come back soon. We tried the following tapas: Salmon tartar, Bruschetta and Genovese flatbread. Then we had the Beet Salad. Our main dishes included Alla Vodka, Addiolio and Capelletti. Every dish was quite good. We really loved the Addiolio if you like fennel, otherwise try the Capelletti. Service was amazing. It is a family owned business and the staff is simply amazing. We have the risk of becoming regulars.

Yelp
The food here is sooooo good. This is the second time we've been there and we tried a little more of the menu. The food is so amazing and the bak lava is one of the best we've ever had. I'm assuming one of the owners/manager stopped by our table several times and we got to chat with him and he was so nice and so friendly. He checked on us several times and that was nice to get those table touches. If I had to say anything bad about this spot is that the actual servers themselves are not as good or as friendly. We got sat by a server and was served water but she never came back. My husband had to flag down another server who took our order. Once the order was placed the manager/owner/bartender were the ones who ran our food and who consistently checked on us. Again, they were so nice and the food was amazing, I'm hoping they can find better help bc I would hate to see them not grow. We'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Once again I find myself searching for good, authentic Italian. The ambiance was great. It had a 1940's-1960's rat-pack vibe. The live music on Saturday night was enjoyable. The appetizers were good, the meatballs and sauce (gravy) were better than expected. Moving on to the main course, it was good. Dinner entree was lunch sized proportions, but that was ok with me because I don't particularly care to bring home leftovers. The pasta was a bit bland for our taste. We had the Alla vodka and the Paesano. We requested extra Parmesan and red pepper flakes and this made the difference. All in all, I'd come back. We've only found one other enjoyable Italian restaurant, so this is definitely a contender.

Yelp
Great food ambiance and service! They also have live music in the evenings and private rooms :)

Yelp
Early Valentine's Dinner at Dua: Great service even though they were busy. A real happening Bar scene - the bar tenders were quite entertaining and took good care of everyone. The food was delicious - Rucola Salad with Goat Cheese, Cornish Hen, or live a little and get the Spinach Ravioli. It was the start of the perfect evening. Highly recommend!

Fantastic food and service. It's been a year and a half with truly quality food, caring service and professionalism! Always taking care of my family and especially my little one. Thanks Nik, appreciate you and your team!

Yelp
I planned a birthday dinner for my Mom's 50th in the banquet room available here. I have no negatives and if I let myself, this review could be a novel... but overall, although new, the restaurant was amazing, professional, and soooo accommodating! Planning such a large group was tricky and driving me nuts frankly but, Nik made it easy. He is a manager I believe. Very responsive, personable, and accommodating for booking the space. I was able to come an hour early to put some decor up to personalize the space as long as it didn't interfere with the integrity of the space. Our server, Sabina, was incredible, Might be my new bestie frankly. Top tier customer service and really made us feel comfortable. She was so warm, and my family was such a fan The team they have is just awesome, even as the meals were coming up- they had several food runners delivering plates so everyone got their food warm, and in a timely manner. Even my parents were so happy with the experience and my dad raved about the food, ambiance, and service. To be mentioned, we did have a narrowed menu due to us having a group of 23 but we got to personalize the menu based off the existing selection... and there is a minimum spend but with a party the size that the banquet room fits -- it's not hard to meet. I would've done her birthday here 1000x over. My ONLY recommendation is that with groups this size and with a selective menu, maybe find a way to print that selected menu for the parties so that the guest aren't too confused when given a full menu and ordering... Even if on paper print outs. Thank you guys for being so great. I'm so thankful. 10/10

Yelp
The place is very elegant. Service is exceptional! They offer a great wine selection. The meatballs were very tasty. Ordered the Rigatoni para with chicken and broccoli. The broccoli tasted rubbery, however the taste was amazing. Great atmosphere and crowd.

Yelp
I have been waiting for them to open and at so excited the time has come. The ambiance is amazing. The service was great and the dish I had was crazy good. I had the salmon tartar and it was incredible. This will be a place I frequent and host parties in the future. They have great private dining areas perfect for family and business events. So happy for my friend Nic bringing this dream to fruition. Nicely done Nic.

Yelp
Recently visited on a Friday evening. We sat a the bar to have a drink while waiting for our table. The bartender was fun, friendly, and knew how to make a requested craft cocktail. We were sat in a smaller room off of the main dining area. The room was nicely decorated, but the acoustics made the room get quite loud and a little difficult for conversation. The food was delicious to the last bite. Our food server, Micah, was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and perfectly attentive.

Yelp
Delicious food and excellent service! Ambience was great also. We will definitely be back
