Taking the time to guide me thru the ordering process, being able to watch the process of mixing the batter, making the donuts and funnest part the icing's and sprinkles! This place is sure to bring out the best days growing up and making donuts at home with family in you. If not, I emplore you to check out the experience for yourself! I’ve had a great experience every time I’ve come here. The customer service is always top tier, and the donuts are amazing. I like getting ones that I prefer less fresh (namely chocolate icing is better cooled to me) to have as a treat later in the day! But the warm fresh donuts are delicious too.

I love love love this place! Donuts are amazing. Customer service is exceptional. I always come in asking too many questions and they answer them all! AND WITH A SMILE! The lemonade is a hit, the bobba takes it to another level!!!! I got a half dozen. The ultimate cookie butter, french toast, 2 glazed, a blueberry pancake and a maple bacon!!!! Please be jealous but lol then go get you some! 🤗🥰😘

First time here and never heard about them before. Wow. Donuts made right after you order. Fun to watch and the kids loved to see their donuts being made too. You might want to order double if you plan on taking some with you because once you start eating them you cannot stop, or at least don't want to stop. Hot, tasty, melt in your mouth, if you have not had a freshly made 29 seconds ago donut, you have to stop and try at least one. Lots of toppings and things to try. Drinks, donuts, and breakfast sandwiches. The owner is amazing, and will actually talk to you and tell you about the business and some history. She was great and would like to see some Duck Donuts over on the east side of Wisconsin sometime.

Amazing place!!! We had a fantastic time ordering custom donuts. The ladies were super patient with my 3 littles and helped them pick out how they wanted their donuts. The kids got to watch them be made and it was so fantastic. My 11 year old said it’s the best place ever!!! They each got little donut toys and toy ducks!!! Definitely recommend stopping here.

Loved the mini donuts that I look for a gathering. Also ordered a peach Sunday while I was there and it was incredible. Definitely a unique experience

Wow! My first duck donuts experience! Had no idea they were made fresh to order and holy crap that makes a difference! Soft, warm and too darn good!!! The service was friendly and prompt but the location was a tad bit dirty (bathroom toilet hasn't been cleaned in awhile!) outside of that some bangin donuts!

Great donut place. After ordering the donuts are made fresh and topped with your choice of coating. Delicious and warm. The donuts are soft like fair donuts. They have a variety of toppings and flavors. I recommend trying this place.

This is a popular place and for good reason. Fresh yummy donuts with toppings made to order. Super friendly staff and you always feel welcome here . The space is huge and clean . I love how there's so many choices to splurge for a great donut. This a great donut shop and probably my favorite here in Woodbury.

Heaven in a box. Warm, sweet and satisfying. These donuts could easily become addictive. The service was phenomenal. Equally warm, and customer focused. The donuts are made to order but the wait was not long. Highly recommend and look forward to returning.

I'm gonna go broke and get fat cause I can eat these donuts all day and every day! Made fresh to order and custom the way you want or assorted with fan favorites (I did a little of both), add a coffee, and you are off to a great day. They also have a pretty good size menu too, I will have to come back to try their shakes, and breakfast sandwiches they look delicious. Staff is cool and the place was clean... highly recommend this place for donut lovers!

Very good service and definitely different from your average donut place. They have lots of flavors and will even let you choose your own dozen. I like donuts but the reason I gave it 3 is that they serve their donuts warm, not my thing.

Crack donuts! These fresh, sweet little grease pucks are supremely delicious. Service was wonderful and they had my 1/2 dozen of 3 varieties made in about 10 minutes. A bit expensive but a very indulgent, occasional treat makes them sooooo worth it. The frosting is generously applied so it may be cloyingly sweet for some.

First time trying out Duck Donuts. The place was very clean, cute and the staff were friendly. I specifically went to try a donut with coconut toppings, but unfortunately they were out of coconut that day. They only offer cake donuts (which isn't my fav), but they come out really hot and fresh. I will definitely try it again and look forward to experimenting with different toppings. They also have breakfast sandwiches that looked, but only offer them on a donut (in lieu of English muffins, croissants, etc.) which I wasn't feeling. But maybe it's worth a try! They also offer coffee-based beverages, which looked great, but I did not have the chance to try them this time.

Stopped by for donuts at 2:30 pm. Hours posted were 6:30am -7:00 pm. And both doors were locked. Confused at what times they're actually open and why they weren't correctly posted

If your website says you open at 6:30 a.m. on a Saturday and the sign on your door says you open at 6:30 a.m. on a Saturday, then be ready and open when customers drive 25 minutes to get your doughnuts. We went there yesterday at 6:50 a.m., and the place was dark inside, and the doors were locked. Never, again. Lesson learned.

I ordered the breakfast dozen father's day special. The doughnuts were delicious and fresh when I arrived to pick-up my online order. I drove 30 minutes to my parents house and the donuts were still warm and delicious! Staff were very organized during this holiday and were very friendly. Good quality, even during a holiday with a promotion!

Whats better than freshly made, warm donuts with your choice of toppings! Love this Chipotle type concept but for DONUTS! You can build a million different combinations of heavenly goodness and then watch them make the donuts right in front of you. What's not to love!

I was looking forward to homemade donuts to only be biting into donuts that tasted nothing like that. They were very dry and the icing was not good at all. It was like biting into a sponge and the icing didn't compliment it either. The grocery store has better donuts this rate. I will not be returning, very extremely disappointed. I would give this place a zero stars if I could.

So neat! We have been wanting to check this place out for awhile but don't live too close. We went this weekend and it was better then we thought. They literally make them fresh right in front of you. Like how they do with mini donut's. Then they add the toppings. All that we got were so yummy and obviously very fresh!! Would highly recommend this place!!!! Lots of selection to choose from which is nice and the best thing? They won't ever be sold out of your favorites as they make it right there LOL

Warm, made to order, light and flavorful are all words that are required to describe Duck Donuts. I've been eyeing this place for awhile and finally made time to check it out. It's not a pre-made donut place so make sure you plan to wait just a few minutes, I promise it's worth it! I'll ever be able to go back to a regular ol' premade donut. The donuts themselves are like a cake/raised hybrid that isn't overly sweet. Honestly it's the toppings that create the sweetness level. You can choose between their creations or make your own combos. Plus they even have take home donut kits. I spend about $15 on a large vanilla latte and 6 hot donuts with various toppings. Highly recommend the French toast donut!

These donuts are so yummy! Hot and fresh, ready made to order, they tasted delicious. I had to stop myself from eating all of the donuts in the box. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because I asked for one of the coffee drinks advertised on their signs and on their website/mobile app, but they said they couldn't make it. I'm not sure why, but I was a little disappointed because I wanted to try one of them. I also signed up on the mobile app and received a coupon to use on my first purchase, but their register wasn't working and they were unable to add my discount. I'm not mad about it, just disappointed again that I couldn't use it. I'm sure there will be other offers and discounts to use in the future.

This is a great donut spot for Woodbury. The service is great and the donuts are addictive. A bit of advice, order online and pick it up. They can get overwhelmed with walk ins and just makes things easier.

Enjoyed having nice warm donuts. Have a very good taste. Sucks that they all kinda melt together but not much can be done if you're getting more than one. Had a long wait but with most places being understaffed, I didn't mind.

Really disappointed. Took my kids there for a fun Saturday morning treat. No one looked remotely enthused about working. Half the staff had headphones in. Food was mediocre. When we were done I took my kids to use the restroom. An employee came out of the single stall reeking of weed. My kids asked why it smelled so bad. After about 2 min my eldest ran out gagging.

Delicious! These donuts were so good and it was a lot of fun to customize our donuts. Our favorite was the blueberry pancake. When warm it tasted SO much like a blueberry pancake! Staff was also nice and talked us through how to order, and the food came out quickly. The only downside is they are more expensive than a typical donut, but if you're eating them warm I think it's worth it.

Good donuts if you like cake donuts and are not in a rush. They are made in front of you and are warm. The one person working last week was so kind.

Let me start off by saying this was more about the experience then the donuts. Donuts are fresh fresh fresh. They are fried right in front of you. I brought my nieces and nephews here and they could watch them being cooked and decorate their own donuts. Service person was good to them. We took them to go and enjoyed them on the road.

I must say there is one thing that is so intoxicating, and that is the aroma of donuts being made. Moreover, what more can you ask for than made to order donuts??!! One walks into this place and it is clean open spaced and smells like victory. There are literally 100's of potential combinations (there is probably 1,000's, but I suck at math) for one to choose from. You will pick a coating, and then pick a topping, and then choose a drizzle. my favorites are maple bacon, lemon raspberry, peanut butter hot fudge. Krispy Creme has nothing on these...hands down the best. The unfortunate thing about this wonderful establishment it is Woodbury, and it a long way for one who lives on the west side to travel for donuts. If I am on the east side of the metro, I will always make an effort to get a dozen to bring home. One tip: if you like bacon, get your but their early. There have been more than a few times that they have run out of bacon.

Okay, I see you Duck Donuts. Warm, soft, and sweetly balanced. On my first visit I forgot my wallet and my husband had strolled over to a store in the strip so I had to wait for him to comeback to place my order. I noticed it takes a bit of time since they make them to order. I asked if they could start an order for me and they said no. Well booooooo. By the time my husband came back there were SIX people in line. I figured that's like 30 plus minutes to get my donuts, so we left. Then came national donut day. This was the only place that had key lime donuts on the menu, it's for a limited time, but I freakin love key lime donuts, they're so "light..." at least that's what I tell myself. I sent my husband back, I ain't got time to wait in line. He comes home with half a dozen donuts and two free ones, which was awesome, but he also had complaints on the long wait. The cake donut itself was delicious. Just like what you'd expect a freshly fried donut to be, it's like taking a giant bite out of a mini donut truck and it tastes like how it smells. I was disappointed though in the glazes, they didn't taste like anything. My key lime didn't even have a hint of the wonderful citrus notes you'd expect, and my strawberry glaze was nothing as well. I got gypped, what a waste of extra calories! The cake donut I really like but minus a star for the wait and another for the flavorless glazes.

I love a good donut. My go-to is the classic raised glazed (though some people call them yeast donuts ). Normally I shy away from cake donuts but I make an exception for Duck Donuts! This new-ish to MN spot is awesome. The donuts are made fresh and then decorated right in front of you! In fact, you can customize your order with whatever glazes, toppings and drizzles you want. Each season/holiday they come out with a fun assortment, themed to the holiday. I was able to snag a Lucky Duck assortment, and it was fantastic! The best it was that they added Lucky Charms as a cereal topping for St. Patrick's Day! I love trying the seasonal specials, but also am a huge fan of their classics, like their maple bacon and their S'mores donuts! The only downside is that they don't have gluten free donuts, but hopefully soon!

Found this driving by the area and made a stop, as the signage was eye catchy, and being a yelper, I couldn't pass a new spot without checking it out . Glaze & Deck your own Donut How cool a concept! They make fresh warm Donuts and you customize it with your pick of toppings and glaze. .! Kudos to this family who started this. My three picks were 1. Blueberry pancake - true to its name but a tad bit over sweet for my taste 2. Maple with with hot fudge - The best of breed - must try combination 3. Cinnamon Sugar with Salted Carmel shredded Coconut This place blew my mind away! Take your family for a fun outing and enjoy the dolled up donuts

Grand opening day! Wasn't as busy as I thought it would be. The line went pretty fast. Because they make donuts fresh (made to order) + you customize them or you can pick from a menu, they take a little while to get your order to you. I ordered the cookie butter chai latte. I was notified they didn't have it. Which is cool. First day, I understand. I ended up switching to a vanilla latte. We got a 1/2 dozen donuts: Cinnamon Sugar w/ Vanilla drizzle & sprinkles Mint Icing w/ Oreo crumbles & hot fudge Drizzle Bacon in the sun Blueberry pancake They were all fresh & good. Mint icing was my favorite! Tables were filled with icing. Eventually someone did come wipe them down. A staff member was sweeping the carpet towards the kitchen/where they were making donuts which doesn't seem sanitary (pushing dust towards the kitchen vs away). Overall good donuts. Cool little place!

Y'ALL. I cannot say this enough...GO TO DUCK DONUTS!! They were nothing short of amazing. They have a "create your own" style with a flavor for everyone! Icings ranged from vanilla, to blueberry and lemon. My personal favorite was peanut butter and chocolate icing with Oreo crumbles. What made them so amazing is that they were fresh and still WARM! Yum! The staff was very helpful and nice. Some customers were irritated at the wait. However, since each donut is made to order with endless topping choices, it does take a little longer (especially if they're busy). Ours took about 10 minutes, but it was absolutely worth the wait!

Well played DD...you had me at fresh, unique, made-to-order donuts. Then I had your coffee. The Covid crisis may be raging, but your delicious donuts bring a sanity to my world. I know some may complain about the wait (they make each donut one-at-a-time) and cake-vs-yeast dilemma, but variety makes an interesting life. No, it's not Krispy Kremes. Not wanting to stand and wait for your order? Order ahead and pickup, or have them delivered. I had to go in to look at the different toppings, glazes, icing selections. I am so happy this location is in Woodbury (NOT close to my house) so I don't have to feed another addiction but it was nice to come here after snowshoe adventures and warm up with a delish donut and coffee!

I visited Duck Donuts on their opening day! I've had friends visit this donut shop before, and I'm happy they've made their arrival in the Twin Cities! There was a decent crowd (as expected) but I was pleased with how smoothly everything operates. We received a $4 off a dozen donuts coupon for our next visit. We'll definitely be back! I got four donuts on my visit. *Mint icing with Oreo crumbles & hot fudge drizzle, *Peanut butter icing with chocolate drizzle *Blueberry Pancake- powdered sugar, maple drizzle, & blueberry icing *Sunrise- lemon icing with raspberry drizzle. It's hard to pick a favorite, but the mint icing wins. It's their seasonal donut now, so act fast! It had a nice mint flavor and didn't taste like toothpaste. It was great getting to eat hot, fresh donuts right out of the fryer. I look forward to trying them at room temperature on the next visit, after the icing and drizzle is all set.

Very delicious cake donuts and tons of options for customization. I purchased donuts from here with a Groupon for a pretty good deal and have come back since. I would certainly recommend! If you are ordering a larger amount, I would suggest ordering ahead of time!

Everyone at the location moved in slow motion. I have no problem waiting for food but one zero consideration is given, and it seems like everyone is just going through the motions. The atmosphere was horrible. But on the bright side, the donuts were fresh and delicious. Service was terrible.

Yeah it's expensive but it's a fun concept. But... Sometimes the flavors run together, like I HATE maple and it ruins all donuts around it. They need spacers or something. But a fresh hot cake donut is something else. The person who said Cub donuts are comparable must have broken tastebuds lol.

Duck Donuts captivates you the moment you walk through the door. You immediately smell amazing fried pastries and your confronted with so many options for donuts you'll feel like your in donut heaven. I ordered a dozen and it took about 5 minutes to get them. They were warm and fresh and absolutely delicious. You can get a variety of toppings, glazes, and icings and it feels like there are endless combinations to be had. Everything is made fresh to order so you can get any combination you want. There is plenty of parking and seats inside. The only bad part was the service. The woman taking our order seemed angry and agitated the moment we started placing it. It was kinda uncomfortable as she seemed very annoyed with us ordering different combinations of donuts, but hey that's why you come here! It shouldn't be a problem. Donuts were even great the next day and easily warmed up in the microwave. I would go back for sure!

DO NOT GO HERE! Horrible horrible service! I've ordered ahead many times to bring donuts to meetings and there is never anyone working up front. Loud rap music is always blasting from the back and I have to call out "hello? Does anyone work here?" Multiple times to no answer so I see my order on the counter and take it. This time my order wasn't there. When the employee finally came to the front after taking her sweet time, she said someone else took my order and she would have to bother with making a new batter and it would be a while...I didn't have while, that's why I ordered ahead! Went to Target instead for 1/4 of the price and people enjoyed the donuts even more! The manager wouldn't believe me and said he wanted to get the employee's side of the story but eventually finally refunded me. WILL NOT BE BACK!

Disappointing 1st time visit 12/30/2021 ordered donuts for 01/01/2022 "curbside" 7:45 AM pick up. Arrived 7:36 AM but store Holiday Hours hand written sign open 8:00 AM - what?! Coldest day of year gotta sit in my running car to keep warm! I could see someone in store stocking items getting ready for day. Finally 8:00 enter store my order isn't ready for pick up!?! Ask for my money back as I don't have time to wait - didn't even get FULL refund! #DuckDonuts is over priced, over rated and customer service is terrible all in 1st visit. Been a month since I contacted DD they replied, I provided information requested have NOT heard anything from them (no refund, apology or what was discovered when contacted store). They should change name from Duck Donuts to Suck Donuts!

What's not to love about made to order doughnuts?? I was wondering what made this place so special and once I got my WARM box I knew immediately. The donuts were served super warm...so warm that I couldn't pick it up with my hands...it like melted at the touch of my fingers. I had to use a fork...that's a first! I felt like I was eating a slice of cake! I love that their donuts are not overly sweet. Be prepared to pay around $2 per donut...it's well worth it!
