Itto’s Tapas on Capitol Hill to Become Spanish Restaurant A La Vida | Eater Seattle

"After its manager, Jody Claggett, bought the Summit Avenue restaurant from owner Khalid Agour, the space will be overhauled and rebranded A La Vida. The concept will shift away from the heavily Moroccan-influenced tapas menu toward a more straight-up Spanish restaurant, with a greater emphasis on gin, vermouth, and Spanish wines. The location is expected to close for a week at the end of February and be reborn in March; this incarnation originally opened in late 2017 when Agour converted his pizzeria, Toscana, into the restaurant." - Tim Forster

Our favorite for many years the summer special swordfish is the best I’ve ever tasted. Unique incredible delicious food served by wonderful warm, friendly people. Thank you so much.

An Italian and Argentine tapas restaurant, small shop that had first-come, first-serve seating along with some Opentable stuff online that you could reserve at. Service was top-notch, folks came back to help us pack up extras and also check on us multiple times. Stopped in on a hot day, tried a bunch: Pitcher of white sangria was a lovely cool sip. - Special baked oyster fondue was ok (reminded me of Oyster Rockefeller but not as flavorful); they had 3 on the plate and they noticed and had them make up a 4th for the 4th person at the table. Great service for that touch. - Papas bravos was a good fingerling potato - Grilled octopus was ok - Peruvian ceviche was a touch too sour for me, but others liked it Mains, also shared: - Short ribs rigatoni was good, but not as good as the one at Ferraro's that I had - Seafood paella - not sure if this is a regional difference, but I'm used to having the crispy rice along the outside of the pan, crunch and savory -- the inside rice and shrimp, sausage and clams were ok, but missing the texture expected of a hot pan of paella rice Dessert - churros were solid, with dulce de leche - lava cake was good, vanilla ice cream to the top - they had a special fruit mix in a pastry shell - good fruit mix and the ice cream below was good - pastry was just ok, maybe needed something more like a napoleon's layers instead of being like a fried skin? Overall great service, a mix of dishes that sometimes hit the mark and others missed.

Good food options, nice atmosphere. I thought the food was overpriced considering the small portion size. But it did taste good. Passion fruit mocktail was extremely bitter (4 like wedges in the drink), I would not recommend that beverage.

I recently dined at Due 360 with friends and this place truly understands the art of hospitality. The little touches that made the experience stand out were so impressive. For instance, after each course, they swapped out our plates and utensils, making the meal feel fresh and thoughtful. When we finished our glass of red wine, I was going to use the same glass for our bottle of champagne, they didn’t hesitate to bring me the proper champagne flute—just one of those details that really elevates the experience. They even cleaned the table after every course, ensuring that we never felt crowded or uncomfortable. Plus, water glasses were always topped off, which is such a nice touch. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right balance of energy and intimacy. The food itself was delicious, but it was these small details that made the meal feel high-end without breaking the bank. It’s clear they really care about giving you a great dining experience. If you're looking for a place that offers excellent service and a cozy yet refined vibe, this spot is definitely worth checking out!

We visited here on our anniversary and had a great experience. The staff were super friendly and professional. The food was mostly delicious. The shrimp and octopus dish was amazing. The meatball was just good. The prime rib was the one that we have mix feelings about. The meat was good but not amazing and the vegetables were not as good. I wish we fried the stake instead. Overall great experience and strongly recommend.

A glorious fever dream! Tapas galore! No full bar? Who cares? Four flavors of Sangria (red, white, blue w/Curaçao, passionfruit- naturally delicious!) and wine. With a google same day reservation, I rolled in with my little family of four and my mother-in-law. Gabriella, the chef's wife, treated us like family and every dish tasted like a hug. Highlights were the zesty Peruvian Ceviche (save bread for the sauce), tasty Steak Yucca Fries, and Berenjena con Miel - eggplant drizzled with honey and goat cheese. The Calamari was crispy and delicious even without the tentacles. Dessert was a victory lap with a smooth and creamy Flan, perfectly crunchy Churros, and Lemon Sorbet that looked like Olaf doing hot yoga. Then came free homemade limoncello to end the meal. It was bright, balanced, and dangerously good! We waddled out with joy! NOTES/TIPS: **Great solo, dates, friends, family. **Huge menu w/several vegetarian options and kids menu. **Wine and sangria available. **Gendered restrooms. Wheelchair-accessible. Indoor/outdoor seating. Warm modern vibes. **For 3 adults and 2 kids with their spaghetti and meatballs, 7 small plates left us very full. **Street parking if you're lucky, parking decks nearby. **Reservations recommended.

I stopped in for an early dinner and had the Kylie salad with grilled salmon. The portion was very small for $15. The salmon was extra. The service was fantastic. The place is simply and nicely decorated. Since it is an Argentinean and Italian restaurant, I was expecting that Malbec would be on the wine menu as well as some type of churrasco option.

We went to Due 360 a week before Christmas. It was rainy for that Tuesday night, however an unforgettable dinner. My dish was the Chicken Parmigiana. I think this was the first time in awhile I ate the whole dish, some extra sauce leftover, and didn't need to bring extra home. All the food was delicious. Connecting to how the food was, service was outstanding. Our waiter frequently checked on us, answered any questions we had or went over the specials and gave recommendations. Appetizers, entrées, desserts - delicious and well put together. Especially our desserts. Our waiter recommended the apple one with the outside thin crust with berries inside (apologies, cannot remember the name). It was our favorite dessert. If you come here, please order this dessert - you won't regret it. Complimentary Limoncello towards the end of the night. Parking available sling the street or in the parking lot with meters. All payments accepted. Thank you for a great evening.

Yelp
Amazing dinner in Summit. We ordered two steak dishes and the salmon. Absolutely fantastic special (a sirloin steak). The salmon was a great gluten-free option for our friend who has celiac disease. The beef short rib was so massive it looked like the Palisades cliffs. Cooked to perfection; not fatty or greasy. We ordered dessert too (flan which was GF, lava cake, and the churro) but we ate everything too fast to take photos. Excellent meals all around, highly recommend.

Yelp
Fantastic venue, service, and food. Dropped in two weeks ago on a Thursday night. Seated promptly by Eduardo and Gabrielle (see photos) - genuinely welcoming folks. Cozy venue. Varied menu with tapas, seafood, Italian, and more. The food? Delicious and perfectly plated. See the pictures for some of what we ordered. Mushroom soup - my wife loved it. Ceviche, superb. Empanadas! Delicious pasta. Branzino was the best I have ever had - really! Chicken dish tasty too. Nice NJ red wine. Superb chef! Latte delicious too. Eduardo was one of the best servers we have encountered in years. Great energy, a consummate professional waiter, but very welcoming, knowledgeable of the menu, and added to great meal. Eduardo, Gabrielle, and the chef ( who came out to say hello( made a wonderful meal better. Give this place a visit. Three cheers to the chef and staff!

Yelp
We had my birthday dinner here. Everything was literally perfect. It's a bit pricey for the tapas but the portions are generous and the food is soooo delicious, and the service was so friendly and attentive. Will be back!

Yelp
Tried this tapas spot a few times and wasn't too impressed. The last time I went, the shrimp weren't properly cleaned and deveined, which was disappointing, and overall the tapas we tried were just okay. The highlight of the meal was definitely the tiramisu- it was really tasty and ended things on a good note. However I don't really want to come here, and only go because a family member likes to come here. It's not for me though

Yelp
This is a fantastic dinner spot - we came early (it's BYOB so pack a bottle!). We were seated near the window and close to the kitchen - our server was a phenomenal spirit: bubbly, vivacious, and full of recommendations. He was incredibly thoughtful with etiquette - switching from white to red wine, he encouraged the buser to bring new wine glasses, etc. We ordered almost the entire menu: sushi pizza, patatas bravas, the octopus (pulpo la plancha), steak and yucca fries, a few varities of tacos, as well as the entree and a pasta. We split everything family-style - my favorites were the sushi pizza, the octopus, the steak and yucca fries, and the lobster taco. There were a few minor things that could have improved, but the ability to have a fabulous meal, such a variety of foods, and stellar service.... A lovely experience and we hope to be back soon!

Yelp
Met with a friend and her daughter for a Saturday brunch. Cozy place that was empty when we came by 12:30 (I made a reservation via HostMe) but more people started coming in shortly after. We ordered red sangrias which were really good and got some bruchettas with balsamic vinegar "on the house". I wasn't particularly hungry,so ordered a couple of tapas for the table, also beef empanadas with chimichuri sauce (the latter was probably my personal favorite). As entrees,my friend and her daughter had a seafood paella and salmon (both fairly big portions so there were some leftovers to take home). All food was nice and flavourful. Service was super quick and attentive, and we even were offered limoncello shots at the end, which was lovely. Ambiance-wise,the place is roomy and cozy, right in the street corner (no dedicated parking lot,but lots of street parking around, including Summit train station nearby).

Yelp
Had such an amazing lunch here this past weekend. it was a perfect spot to share dishes and yap. here's everything we ordered: -passionfruit sangrias -steak tacos (absolutely amazing 1000/10) -Peruvian ceviche (OK, needed to be mixed) -stuffed avocado (amazing) -buffalo chicken wrap (wow but should've asked for ranch instead of blue cheese!) -apple crunch (a special currently - solid dessert) We got to sit outside here during one of the nice fall days and it was so lovely. Our service was good and kind. I'd recommend this spot to anyone for a nice lunch and dinner. For more, check out @leenulovesfood.nj on IG

Yelp
I came out here after 5 years. I called in advance to make a reservation and spoke with Luis who is the owner or manager. He was very nice and welcoming. He told me they changed owners about 3 years ago. He made me feel very comfortable. I made a reservation for Easter Sunday and remembered I had a great experience last time. The restaurant is set in the heart of Summit NJ near the train station. It's a nice area to visit with lots of shops and restaurants. One of the first things you notice is how clean all the streets are. I'm going to be a little critical because it was a great experience and I want them to succeed. Let's start with the positives... Great service, not rushed at all, there were 3 of us and we spent 3 hours here. Great food, everyone was very polite and attentive. They were constantly filling the water glasses, cleaning the table, and changing the silverware. Nice menu, most dishes were tapas size, they introduced main courses, they have pastas, salads, a brunch menu, specials, wines, spirits and mixed drinks. They have 2 separate dining rooms and they were well staffed. They gave us a complimentary taster at the start. For starters we 3 dishes from the tapas menu. We had the grilled cauliflower, the avo coconut shrimp and the colossal crab cake. For mains we had the ahi tuna with coconut rice, and the steak fritters. For desert we had the tiramisu, the tres leches cake and the fruit tart. All the food was excellent! The right temperature and nice flavor. I want them to succeed. I am never one to complain about price, although I know many customers will price conscious. I was surprised that they were a little empty even though it was Easter Sunday. I imagine they are busier during the week when people are taking the train. I may have to come to the area a few more times to gauge the customer traffic properly. I think that they have to look at portion size and pricing. From the taps menu the "colossal crab cake" was fairly small in size. It was good but definitely not colossal. The ahi tuna was 4 small slices and should have been maybe twice the size in my opinion. The deserts that we ordered I would describe as "bite size" and could have been at least 50% larger, if not more. Either lower the price a bit which is hard because of inflation. If hey can find the right compromise, they will do very well. We ended with a few shots of complimentary limoncello. I would recommend them and will probably come back. I hope Luis reads this and thinks about my suggestion's.

Yelp
Nice little spot with "out of state" vacation vibes. The service was fantastic with multiple waiters assuring we were attended to. The crab cake & beef empanada (1) were light with a distinct flavor, different to what we've ever had. All in all we really enjoyed our entrees though. The breakfast potatoes were really good paired with the eggs benedict and Hubby's burger was cooked just right. The truffle fries were very good, perfectly seasoned.

Emilie M.

Yelp
Best Sunday Brunch!! Food was fantastic! Service was very attentive! Great ambience. Will return.

Yelp
Everything was so delicious. The short rib was melt in your mouth good. I also enjoyed the complementary limoncello and thought that it was a nice touch. The restaurant was cute inside and I enjoyed sitting and eating. We did feel a bit rushed by staff so that would be my one complaint.
google avatar

Caroline L.

Yelp
Came back after several years and it's better than before (though we didn't order the paella) Cute byo in summit downtown. Food was great . Had branzino, chorizo, empanada and ceviche. The free bread was delish. Kid friendy. They have a kids menu and paper cups for water. Not too loud or dark for my kid We brought our own alcohol but they also have a wine list for purchase. If you are a sports fan, there is a big TV of the games in the back. Service was good. Not too slow though my server did drop a fork on me. Not a big deal but can't give full credit for that

Yelp
Due 360 bills itself as an Argentine-Italian restaurant which is a unique combination that I do not believe I have seen before. This combination of influences was enough to sell me on checking out this place with my SO about two weeks ago. Located in a corner of Summit, NJ, the restaurant has two seating areas, one of which is behind the main one and I believe is meant to be rented for events. The seating area has some nice windows running along the side of the restaurant giving you a nice view of the neighborhood outside. The interior is pleasant with lots of wood furniture and nice decorations on the walls that are not overdone. We did not have a reservation when we showed up late on a Saturday night and we were worried that we would not get a seat, especially when we saw a bunch of tables already taken up. Lucky us, we were seated right away! It was about 8:30 PM so the staff was a bit tired, but they definitely put on a brave face and were very pleasant and they were working hard the entire time I was there. Okay, let's get down to the food. Here's what we had: Charred Octopus Salad (Octopus, Celery, Chopped Romaine, Tomato, Onion, Cucumber, Roasted Peppers, Lemon-Lime Vinaigrette) The octopus was perfectly cooked. It was tender with a bit of char on it. The vinaigrette gave it a savory and tangy flavor. Steak Yuca Fries (Topped with Steak, Pico de Gallo & 360 Crema) This may not be the most sophisticated choice, but this was my absolute favorite dish of the evening. The Yuca was fried perfectly and cut into bite sized chunks, as was the steak. With the sauce on top, it made for a perfectly crispy, chewy and savory bite. I wanted this dish again almost immediately after I left the restaurant! Short Ribs Rigatoni (Short Rib Ragu, Sweet Peas, Shaved Parmesan) This was my second favorite dish of the night. The rigatoni was cooked perfectly and was not overcooked at all. The sauce had a nice savory tang to it and there was enough short rib that every single bite of pasta also had meat with it. This dish was super satisfying and delicious. Broccoli Rabe This is one of the sides and I would highly recommend it. I love broccoli rable to begin with, but they also threw in a TON of garlic which gave it fantastic flavor. Due 360 was fantastic and I look forward to visiting again in the future!

C M.

Yelp
I am getting really picky in my old age of 50+. I am critical of almost everything. I cannot tell you how happy I was after dining at Due 360, from start to finish the ambiance ( it was not too loud) the staff, (went above and beyond! Yes to all our customizations) and the food was fantastic! They did not disappoint in any category. I love the staff! I was so happy, and this doesn't happen often. Usually there is a side eye or a huff when my husband decides to customize and go overboard with sides of sauces.... Not here, they welcomed it. We can't wait to go back. Recommend: ceviche was outstanding, seafood Paella and chicken dishes were great too! Ended with Churros, which were so yummy!!

Lori P.

Yelp
Awesome afternoon lunch. Great food and awesome service. Will definitely be back! We shared lobster tacos, crab and shrimp tacos, octopus, gnocchi, meatballs, grilled peach salad and beef empanadas! Cleaned all the plates!

Yelp
Food was pretty good but not great. Nice selection of apps and tapas. Service good. Ambience is so so. Not a bad spot but there are better options in town.

Yelp
Had a nice lunch with coworkers. Appetizers and meals were delicious and server was very attentive to our party.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised with the overall experience at Due ! We were strolling around Summit downtown when we came across Due 360. We did not take a prior reservation and had to wait for around 15-20 mins for a table. The food was great, everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. My favorite was the roasted cauliflower - crispy and flavorful. The cucumber salad also stood out, fresh and perfectly paired with blue cheese. Definitely had fun and would love to come back
google avatar

Yelp
Penne Vodka pasta is to die for. My kids couldn't stop eating We also ordered the fish tacos - delicious

Grace S.

Yelp
I would give 6 stars if it was an option. The service was amazing. We were given a complimentary bruschetta when we walked in. We were given homemade limoncello as we paid. We ended up staying longer due to the rain and decided to get cappuccinos. They came out with biscottis too. The food was delicious and I would definitely come back.

Nat G.

Yelp
This may have been the worst service I've had, and I don't say that lightly. They played the same song (sailor song from tiktok) for thirty minutes. We waited an hour between seating and receiving our entrees, and we finally got the food it was served exactly how it is in the photo. Not sure if they were severely understaffed/underprepared for Valentine's Day but at that rate just close early instead of giving this bad service.

Yelp
We had the pleasure of dining for the first time at Due 360 in Summit. From the moment we walked in, Luis the manager and Brianna welcomed us and seated us promptly. Luis was very attentive and made sure we were happy with our order. Our server Sofia was extraordinary! she was warm and friendly with genuine smile. She offered excellent recommendations and we had conversation as if we're know each other for years. We started with a complimentary bruschetta, it was tasty and nicely flavored. I ordered the Tapas- Polpo Ala Plancha, Steak Yuca Frities and Crabmeat/shrimp tacos. Everything was fresh and bursting with flavor. The portion was perfect and the presentation was impeccable. Due 360 was quite a gem of an Argentine-Italian restaurant (interesting combo but it worked!). This place is going to be my "go to" dining spot. I highly recommend it and the experience is worth it.

Yelp
Great dinner at Due 360 this past week! We had a pitcher of their red sangria, which was delicious. We shared a bunch of appetizers/tapas to start. My favorite was their lightly fried eggplant with feta and walnuts - the flavor was unique and kept me coming back for more! For dinner I had the chicken martini, also good. Servers were very attentive to the table. What topped the experience was the house-made bruschetta we got at the start of our meal, and the lemon cello as we left. Perfect touches!

Sr. Christopher M.

Yelp
Four of us ate here for dinner just before Christmas and are very happy we did. The setting was clean and attractive with large glass windows but not like you were in a fish bowl looking out. The food was attractively prepared and served hot. We each started with our appetizer and shared. Dinner was next which was every bit as delicious as the appetizers. There wasn't much room left but we all managed to get dessert, my first time for Creme Brûlée--magnifique! The service was excellent and explanations were welcomed for the many choices on the menu. It was a pleasant and wonderful dinner-out night! Of course, we WILL go to Duo 360 again and again.

Yelp
Delicious tapas. Food was so flavorful and presented beautifully. Plenty of gluten free options. Service excellent. Ambiance is charming, across from the Summit train station. Great for friends or romance.
google avatar

Stacey G.

Yelp
Came here for dinner. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They have a great outdoor eating area. We came here once before for dinner and decided to give it another try. I ordered the branzino and my husband ordered the swordfish. Our meals were good, nothing great or spectacular. I have a really hard time with the price point. For 2 entrees and 1 glass of wine, the bill was $100.

Patrick H.

Yelp
Food is mediocre. No liquor license. Overpriced. Service was good. Go someplace else.

Yelp
Delicious! I loved the stuffed avocado! And sushi pizza was so good! And the service was above and beyond!

Yelp
Wonderful dinner - and fully attentive s d kind staff. First time here and we will be back. Faves were Crabcake, tuna tartar, and ceviche.

Jim W.

Yelp
I had the octopus salad and crème brûlée Both were good, the flavors spot on, but the techniques could use a bit of polish. More char on the octopus, and a thinner, less browned brûlée, this would be 5 stars.
google avatar

Venus S.

Yelp
Service was excellent, food was delicious and loved the menu items. So glad to have a local Argentinian restaurant. We would go more often, but it is on the expensive side. So we'll be only going occasionally.

Yelp
Duo 360 is phenomenal!!! If you are in the area it's a must stop. They have incredible food, ambiance and service. Make sure you ask for Luis, our incredible server! Don't miss out on the dessert, see pics below. We will be back very soon!

Yelp
The food was great. The ahi tuna appetizer 7.5/10. The entree was lobster tacos 9/10. Very delicious, the flavors are delicious. The taco was so full the lobster were coming out. The service was great the female who attended to me was friendly and attentive. I did the outdoor seating. The weather was perfect and there is meter parking right on that side walk.

Yelp
Hands down, one of my favorite restaurants in New Jersey. The food is amazing & the sangria is off the chain! Located in one of NJ's best towns, Summit. - a quaint and wonderful neighborhood enclave with great shopping. There's something for everyone in Summit INCLUDING this fabulous restaurant. I live in California! My family is in NJ so when I'm in town, this restaurant and the warm welcome I receive every time I visit is my "must go" Just about 2 weeks ago, I recommended this restaurant to friends who flew in from Los Angeles and Philadelphia and they told me they enjoyed 5 hours of good food, good drinks, great atmosphere and warm service!

Eli S.

Yelp
Food was great and service was amazing. The manager made me feel right at home. Would come back very soon.

Yelp
This is a great place for Italian and Argentinian tapas in downtown Summit! I love the concept of tapas because I like having a variety of foods to choose from. The sushi pizza is my favorite thing here! I also highly recommend the white sangria. I will say that the food is very expensive for what you get. It's around $20 for each small tapas dish and $14 per glass for sangria so if you're not looking to spend at least $100-200 on dinner for two, then don't come here. It's not somewhere I'd go often but for a girls night out or a nice date, this place is great!

John B.

Yelp
Food was excellent and a pleasant surprise. I would have expected this in Manhattan so I was caught off guard based upon being in the suburbs. I encourage people to give Due 360 a try. It's byob so bring your own wine and you won't regret it.

So me and one of my girlfriends met up for dinner and we had reservations for 7:30pm. When we arrived I parked on the street not too far away. The place was small and a little tight. They did have outdoor dining though. Eric was our server and he was cool, very straight forward and to the point. I thought the spot was only byob but they did have some beer and sangria they could make. I stuck with water though. For our entrées we both ordered the clams and linguini. We both failed to see the chorizo included and had to send it back because we don't eat pork. They were very nice about it. When we got the food it was very good. The flavor was great, I just wish they put in more clams. The bill came to about $41 but they did add the 3.5% for credit card payments. All in all we had a good experience.

Yelp
Tapas are AMAZING! Great portions too that makes ordering a few dishes and then sharing amongst your party. There were 4 of us that shared 6 tapas and 3 pitchers of red sangria (delicious). Service was attentive and super friendly. We were satisfied with our no wait time on a busy Friday night, they have so many tables to accommodate their customers but it didn't feel overwhelming as compared to other places. We sat outdoors and the ambience of the low level music made it enjoyable. Restrooms were also clean too!

Yelp
We hosted our post-wedding brunch here on 8/25/24. Luis was wonderful to work with. He created a custom menu for us for the event at a very reasonable price. The menu had everything from chicken and waffles, quesadillas, make your own omelette, huevos rancheros. He gave us the entire restaurant, as we had a party of 70+ people. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! The restaurant is also BYOB so you can bring your own alcohol and they will provide mixers which is amazing! I highly recommend hosting an event here!

Yelp
Thank you so much Due 360 for the amazing meal and hospitality!! Specifically Luis, he was very accommodating for our party of 9. We had a great experience and definitely coming back for more soon! Dessert and Limoncello are a perfect combo!!

Yelp
We really liked our meal at Due 360, but comparing that experience to other amazing meals that we have had a realized that I rated this place a bit too high. Bringing the rating down a bit to a solid 4 stars.

Yelp
Sort of by saying the complementary bruschetta at the very beginning of a meal set the pace. The flavors were wonderful. The spicy calamari was crispy and tender at the same time. And linguine with clams and chorizo was a very exciting new taste. The staff overheard it was my birthday so complementary flan was my present. My wife and I can't wait to go again it's our new find.

Yelp
It was a good Tapas place to be. We went with kids and sat outside. Food tastes really good. Blue cheese cucumber Salad was so refreshing. Avo-coco shrimp tastes amazing. The best Roasted Cauliflower I've ever tasted. If you are in Summit, must try. This place gets busy so better to make a reservation!!

Yelp
Used to be one of my favorites in Summit. Ownership changed and now the food is mediocre at best and overpriced. Unfortunate...
