Argentina’s restaurants shine brightly with the announcement of its first-ever MICHELIN Stars!

"As expected, many of these restaurants are centred around traditional and local cuisine, with a special focus on meat and the popular ‘parrilla’, such as at Benedetta, Duhau Restaurant & Vinoteca, El Preferido de Palermo and La Carniceria in Buenos Aires and Abrasado, Fogón Cocina de Viñedo, Quimera Bistró and Renacer in Mendoza." - MICHELIN Guide

Duhau Restaurant & Vinoteca

"The fully laden wine shelves and cheese room with its display cabinets exert a Pavlovian effect as you enter this restaurant in the Park Hyatt hotel. The best Argentinian products – the majority of which are cooked on the parrilla grill – are the main attraction here, accompanied by an impressive wine list featuring the country’s most acclaimed wines. There are lots of dishes for sharing, from the grilled rib chops and Atlantic fish to the slow-grilled shoulder of lamb. Everything is abundant here, both in terms of flavour and portions, but make sure you order a side of the delicious and buttery smoked potato purée! The restaurant is popular with a business clientele, no doubt attracted by the good-value-for-money menu, as well as by the more relaxed ambience in the evening. The dining room is elegantly appointed and the staff highly attentive, while the arched doors lead to a charming terrace with views of the garden. The perfect place if you’re looking for a gastronomic bolthole to escape the hustle and bustle of the city." - Michelin Inspector

We shared the Argentinian beef dinner. Some pieces were awesome; others were grizzly. Not what I would’ve expected. Service was poor. No one ever offered to fill our water or wine glasses. They checked on us once. We had to flag someone down to clear our plates after sitting there done for a while. We sat outside at night and it was beautiful. Overall, there are much better choices in B. A.

Duhau Restaurant is one of three incredibly distinguished gastronomical gems housed within the luxurious Duhau Palace Hotel. The other two restaurants being, Gioia and Piano Nobile. Duhau Restaurant’s menu is a composition of traditional Argentina cuisine, layered with unparalleled flavors and influences of international cuisine. The menu boasts of superior cuts of meat, fresh fish and a selection of delectable entrées and side dishes. Every dish is a perfect combination of flavor and presentation. Especially dessert. It is always a pure pleasure to enjoy the dining experience surrounded by the belle époque architecture of the palacio Duhau and its friendly and courteous staff.

The ambiance of the hotel is beautiful, creating a lovely atmosphere. We ordered the parrilla to share and requested it to be well-done, but when it arrived, it was overcooked and burned, likely due to it continuing to cook on the charcoal grill. Additionally, I was disappointed with our waitress, Carolina, who kept opening water bottles without asking. In total, seven bottles were opened and added to our bill without our consent. I’ve attached a photo of the menu from December 2024 for reference.

Google
Terribly overpriced, and really lacking any flavor. The sweetbreads weren't anything to rave about. I ordered creamy rice with prawns and I got the most sad looking prawns I've ever seen, unacceptable, also the menu didn't mention fish and they were included in the dish. My sister order a wagyu steak that was $76 so chewy she couldn't even finish it. Nobody pays attention to you, and to top it off they told us "tip is cash only," for a restaurant marketing that it is in the Michelin Guide I expected more. It is so tasteless to ask for a tip.

Google
An exquisite fine dining establishment in the heart of Buenos Aires, this Park Hyatt hotel restaurant serves classic Argentinian cuisine with a flair. The service, cuisine, decoration, and location are all world class. From the starter of Provoleta, to the mains including seafood, lamb, and beef cooked parilla style, culminating with great dessert including in-house ice cream - the food is the mainstay. The restaurant draws you with its opulence from the moment you set inside with the extensive wine selection displayed and only ups the ante with the its ambience, and views into the lush gardens overlooking the restaurant balcony. The restaurant mentioned in the Argentinian Michelin guide truly deserves the award and a must visit.

Google
Good food, but poor service. Waiters often ask if you need something and then just dissappear. Our dishes took around 50 minutes to be served. Also, a bottle of simple gas water costs freaking 20 USD, and they never mention it until its time to pay. To summarise, if you want to find a Michelin experience, look somewhere else. This place is no better than regular restaurants in BA but 3-5 times more expensive.

Google
Luxury restaurant that doesn’t disappoint in terms of service and quality of food. Everything was perfectly prepared and served in an elegant style. Very much worth the price!

Not one can argue that just the place and garden views of the Duhau Palace but itself are just a experience they restaurant was another experience by itself. Feeling totally transported from the craziness of the city the road rich decor and superb ambience while having live soft music playing in the back was Amazing. The services was just perfect, and the food both in presentation, execution and taste where just perfect. And them just finish your evening with a good Cuban cigar and a crafter cocktail in the good Hands of the experience bartender in the garden, just made the whole experience perfect.

Yelp
Beautiful, 5 star hotel in Buenos Aires. I was fortunate to stay for 3 nights at this hotel located in the heart of Buenos Aires. Centrally located to everything - in the Recoleta section. I used my Amex Platinum and unfortunately didn't get upgraded, however they let me check in around 9 am. The concierge was so helpful - he was able to make reservations for us at Don Julio and the tango show at Los Angelitos- I thought that was pretty amazing since I couldn't get a reservation at Don Julio! There are 2 hotels - the main building is the Palace and the other is a contemporary building. I stayed in the contemporary building, which I thought was not really luxurious for the price I paid $$$$$, but the service was excellent. The hotel gave us complementary bottles of wine and macarons. There are 2 main restaurants in this hotel, and my favorite was Gioia. In the morning, Gioia was the main restaurant for breakfast. At lunch, it's a fabulous vegan restaurant and the food was very tasty, I forgot it was vegan! There is an art gallery and flower shop on the bottom walkway that connects the 2 hotels. I would stay here again on my next visit to Buenos Aires,

Yelp
The restaurant "Piano Bar" is terrible. Food is cold, service is slow. I had to ask for a salt shaker 5 times and it finally arrived at the end of the meal after I complained. The extremely young head waiter is WAY OVER HIS HEAD. It seemed that he would not serve a glass of wine unless it was from a bottle that he had already opened. In general, the restaurant staff throughout the hotel meets everyone's expectations of your typical Argentinian - rude and arrogant for no apparent reason.

Yelp
As with other Park Hyatt's I've visited, each one is impressive and evokes the spirit of the local aesthetic and culture. Palacio Duhau is no different. It's an impressive property by all measures. The property consists of two separate buildings. The original palace and a newer construction. The two buildings are adjoined by a subterranean corridor that houses an art gallery and a flower shop. In between the two buildings is an elegant courtyard on the ground level that gives you an impressive view of the exquisite facade of the palace and the impeccable landscaping. The opulence of the palace is quite breathtaking and it's a good idea to walk around the entire property and take in all the beauty. As for the stay itself, it was good, but lacks the WOW-factor you experience while waking the grounds. We stayed here twice a few weeks apart and both times our suite was located in the newer building. The room is sleek and modern with lots of wood appointments. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure for the shower was good. The things that were a headache was the confusing light switch configurations. You would think you were turning on a fixture right next to you, but it would actually be wired to something around the corner. This happened both times and it was a bit of a nuisance, especially if you are trying to not disturb your partner. Another thing that was problematic was the occasional power outage. There were times that the power would flicker on and off and at one point the entire building was dark and we waited in the lobby in near pitch black for the power to come back online. Now, this was a common theme when we visited Argentina and on multiple occasions, at different businesses we did experience blackouts. I mention it because it would be a good idea to locate the flashlight in your suite to make sure you know where to access it if you do experience a blackout. Other than those issues, our stays here were very pleasant. The surround neighborhood is beautiful and charming and well within walking distance of world-class dining and museums. The staff here was immensely helpful and gracious. They were very warm and welcoming. As with all Park Hyatts, this one definitely lived up to the phenomenal hospitality expectations. I would definitely stay here again and save some more time to explore the grounds. The property is impressive and is captivating in its splendor!

Yelp
Palacio Duhau - Park Hyatt is the place to stay when visiting Buenos Aires. Our experience at this hotel was exceptional from beginning to end. Situated in the upscale Recoleta neighborhood, it offers easy access to major attractions, sightseeing spots, and excellent dining options. The hotel impressed us with its private underground Argentinian art collection that links the hotel to the Palacio through a gallery housing more restaurants, event spaces, and conference rooms. During our stay, we stayed in a King Deluxe contemporary room with a great view of the city. They provided still and sparkling water daily and surprised us with a delicious birthday chocolate cake. Their breakfast served in the gorgeous Duhau Gardens, offered a European-style spread of fresh fruits, pastries, meats, cheeses, and hot dishes like eggs and sausages. The hotel has two entrances, one from the Palace side and another from the Park Hyatt hotel side. I would keep this in mind when ordering an Uber or getting dropped off. This hotel is a hot pick for celebrities and events. From the concierge to the front desk team, spa team, and housekeeping team, every staff member was super friendly and helpful during our visit. We can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Fantastic stay at this gorgeous property! We stayed on the 10th floor of the tower in a large corner room which was spacious and well appointed. Every encounter with staff was excellent. The concierges were so helpful throughtout our stay giving great help and advice prior to and while we were there. The grounds are incredible and the terrace bar has a wonder feel and ambience. The breakfast each morning was superb. We have stayed at many Hyatts around the world but this is by far one of the best. Can't wait to return.

Yelp
Palacio Duhau Park Hyatt is a magical and beautiful property, great Location Recoleta close to many Restaurants, lovely grand decor. I loved the Art gallery of Argentinian artists. The Restaurant and terrazas Gioia were incredible, such a luxurious, peaceful ambience every morning. The service is very attentive with delicious food. The Room was small yet comfortable and very clean, they gave us as courtesy for my husband's Birthday the most delicious Alfajores. Thank you!! The Spa was very relaxing. Thank you Angel for the smooth check in process. We're looking forward to another wonderful time at this Incredible Hotel! Thank you to all the staff!!Palacio Duhau Park Hyatt es un Hotel mágico y hermoso!

Yelp
The Palacio Duhau is a five star respite of tranquility located in the upmarket Recoleta neighborhood. The Palacio Duhau is grand in scale and style. It is connected via a subterranean art gallery to a second building that hosts the main reception room, restaurant and conference rooms. The rooms are contemporary with a high end finish out of natural wood with wood flooring. The service is what you would expect in a five star hotel. Please know that this venue is popular for celebrities and milestone events. The lower floors of the main building can be very noisy from all night parties in the ballroom. Please know it is culturally the local custom not to limit the hours or noise of special events. Enjoy a very special stay!

Yelp
Our stay at this luxury Hyatt hotel exceeded all expectations. From the stellar customer service to the immaculate grounds, all areas were impressive. The front desk personnel managed all of our needs from travel to local sites to visit. We tried every restaurant which had a variety of food and drinks and completed our day in the Oak Bar having conversation and night caps with other guest. The exchange rate from USD is a bonus to visiting Argentina and made our trip inexpensive, in comparison to other countries, which prompted us to bring back many treats for friends and family. Place this hotel on your bucket list, you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Who wouldn't want to stay at a palace? I was honestly skeptical about staying here (albeit with points) due to the late arrival (1 am) and then subsequent departure the following day, but I will say the park Hyatt Buenos Aires was worth it even for a short stay. The hotel is gorgeous and the service impeccable. We were celebrating a birthday and they were kind enough to have a treat and hand written card waiting for us. FURTHER after the man who helped us with our bags found out it was my bf's birthday he came back to our room with a dessert and candle (now this could have just been bc we tipped him $10 usd and Argentina is in an economic collapse, but no matter the gesture was still so kind). My only regret is not staying here longer.

Yelp
This is a review for the restaurant and service only. The breathtaking gardens are worth multiple laps. Beautifully manicured gardens are breathtaking and relaxing perfect for an evening stroll before enjoying a wonderfully soft candlelight meal. If you are dining here, be prepared to treat yourself with every course! This is a must-stop location for any trip to Buenos Aires for anyone that passes through the city. Cheese plates and wines that will have your taste buds popping. You do not have to stay in the hotel to dine here and there is an upper restaurant (Duhau Restaurante & Vinoteca) and a garden in between with another bar/lounge (Gioia Restaurante) light bites restaurant on the lower end of the garden as well. They are both beautiful venues, but for the perfect date night you definitely want to wine and dine yourself at Duhau. Every bite was a pure delight, the entire staff was super kind and attentive. I liken this entire experience to nearly having your own personal chef and waitstaff for a dining experience.

Yelp
You had me at complimentary macaroons! We arrived at 10 in the morning, so were not expecting to checkin, only to leave our luggage, but they gave us our room! Palacio Duhau is a refurbished Neoclassical-era PALACE, located in the posh neighborhood, Recoleta. The history, architecture and original art work are nothing short of magnificent. Rooms are elegant and have more than you can ask for. We stayed in a king room with a balcony. Bathroom has a walk in shower and soaking tub, where I soaked while enjoying a glass of Argentinian red. Outlets inside the safe are a clever idea. There is no outdoor pool but they do have an indoor one. We didn't use the pool but others did and it looked lovely. The food is amazing. We dined in 2 of their restaurants and savored every meal. They have a plenty of options for vegetarians. A special shout out to Fabricio Bermani and his warm, welcoming team. The staff here take great pride in the details. They greeted us by name whenever exiting or re-entering the hotel and were consistently attentive to any needs or questions we had. Take their recommendations for where to go and what to see in town. Too many to mention but never disappointed in their ideas. We look forward to returning!

Yelp
Like the nearby Four Seasons, the Park Hyatt has transformed a historic building (in this case the Palacio Duhau) and turned it into a show place. The rooms are across the interior green space in the new building. However, we came to hang out in the palace, that contains stunning rooms, a nice restaurant/bar and of course the garden. And even though our visit was brief and limited to a guided tour, staff treated us like Royalty.

Yelp
This hotel is beautiful. We stayed here for our honeymoon and the service was top notch from the moment we set foot here. Our butler Pilar have us great recommendations for meals that were local, yet not touristy. The hotel restaurants were amazing as well. I recommend the meat tasting at Duhau Restaurante y Vinoteca. It's a great experience. The concierge sent us champagne and chocolates to celebrate our honeymoon on top of greeting us with a bottle of wine and fresh fruit upon arrival. Since it was Thankgiving, the nightly turndown service left us mini pecan pies, which added just the perfect touch. I highly recommend this hotel and experience if traveling to BA.

Yelp
It's worth going in for at least a coffee to see the interior of the Palacio Duhau and to stroll around the garden area in the back. I stopped in for dessert, and the macarons and ice cream were all good. Based on quality of the food alone, it's over-priced, but you're paying for the view, so it's about what you'd expect. Overall, a nice, tranquil getaway from the bustle of the city with good (but not amazing) dessert in a beautiful setting.

Yelp
After trekking the Patagonian Glaciers, this place place was definitely a treat. The gardens are beautiful, staff is friendly, and all the amenities you can imagine. It's also walking distance to shopping and restaurants. My suite included a shower stall and a soaking tub. Book ahead and try to get a deal (unlike me). This hotel is expensive.

Britt L.

Yelp
Oh my god this place . . I could go on for HOURS. Absolutely incredible hospitality, the rooms were AMAZING, the hotel is BEAUTIFUL. I travel internationally very often for work and I would stay here over and over and over if I could. Fresh fruit brought to your room, fresh flowers everywhere, the most attentive staff , I really just can't wait to go back for a personal vacation.

Yelp
This is s magnificent location and the surrounding area is palatial indeed. Service is world class, food superb, and the grandeur worthy of luxury casual travel or high end business trips. Of all the Hyatt locations I've stayed throughout the planet this one hits top ten without a doubt. Local shopping for wine, clothes, perfume, and even tourist oriented gifts is tough to beat!

Yelp
This is indeed as good as it gets, in my perhaps not-so-humble opinion. Set in a palace in the middle of leafy Recoleta, you will be in the world's greatest hands while enjoying top-notch service, friendly staff, exquisite gardens, and a relaxing spa. Breakfast, served in Gioia or Piano Nobile, was a perfectly enjoyable buffet spread of fresh fruits (nearly a dozen each day!), smoked meats, cheeses, yogurts, cereals, a pastry counter, eggs, hot vegetables, and breakfast meats, deliciously fresh juices, Nespresso coffee service, and a wide variety of tea. On top of that, you can order a la carte egg dishes--I highly recommend the poached eggs, which are like liquid gold at Park Hyatts worldwide. Piano Nobile is a must for drinks (the lavender revenge is to die for, quite literally), lunch in the sunshine, or afternoon tea. Do get coffee service as it comes with an elegant array of macarons--just enough sweet to finish a meal or sitting. One can opt to sit inside an airy room, in the library, or on the terrace overlooking the terraced gardens with a cascading modernist water feature. Everything was manicured beautifully, but also felt welcoming and relaxing--a sumptuous blend of formal and informal moments. The Luigo Bosco savignon blanc and the Zapata Angelica chardonnay, both from Mendoza, are wonderfully drinkable afternoon wines. Trust me, my boyfriend and I know all about this. ;) We did not have the occasion to try dinner service at the hotel, outside of room service on January 1st when we were recovering from an exquisite 5-hour, 7-course dinner the night before. Room service was prompt, spot on, and very reasonably priced. In fact, even if the rooms can get quite pricey, the hotel is reasonable in every other way. If you are a Hyatt Gold Passport member with points to spend, the cash + points is far and away the best approach and it has to be one of the best values in the company worldwide. Our suite came with butler service and our main butler, Pilar, was terrific. Also, the entire concierge team went above and beyond, making just perfect restaurant recommendations from an award-winning Latin American restaurant (iLatina, another review coming for that...) to local seafood and steak houses. You will not go hungry; au contraire, you will need to head to the gym to work off the daily overindulgences in delicious good and wines of the region. The spa was a perfect relaxing place to enjoy a workout, swim laps in the indoor pool, and enjoy the sauna and whirlpool areas. Try the herbal tea infusions as well. And the staff, oh the staff at the spa and throughout the hotel were marvelous. Truly marvelous. In a word this hotel is perfection. Fresh off the plane, it is already time to plan a return visit. Thank you Park Hyatt-Palacio Duhau for making a truly remarkable end to 2015 and beginning to 2016.

Yelp
So, we wanted to check out the hotel for future stays, as my husband had done a coffee take out at this hotel, and thought the service was excellent! Since it was a beautiful day, we thought we would sit outside for a coffee. Unfortunately, the restaurant we picked which was the middle courtyard would not allow us to occupy a table for only coffee and some pastries. First of all, I doubt there are many people occupying all the tables. Secondly, a couple having a coffee and pastry break would not be sitting there for ever, so I think as a Hyatt, you should acquiesce to your customer's wishes and take into account if a person wanting to have a coffee break would not be taking up a table so the turn over would be quite quick and you would have gained your self a new customer and a great review. So to the pretentious young lady who does not do her job well, I think you need to re-do your hospitality training again or be fired!

Yelp
I don't think I could add anything to Samantha's review. She nailed it. Yes, the location is amazing. You're in the palace next to the Archbishop's, the new Pope's former digs. There is good shopping and entertainment within walking distance. The gardens are gorgeous, and they take good care of them. The entire property is well-maintained. I have sat in on the maid's cleaning routine, and this place is thoroughly scrubbed from top to bottom daily. You can stay on the palace side or the more modern side. In our case, we had a high floor suite on the latter. The floor to ceiling louvered windows afford a charming view of La Recoleta, and the layout of the suite was very practical. Sliding panels move to allow you to pass through a ginormous walk-in closet leading to the soaking tub, rain shower or European toilet with a bidet, or you can walk straight into your spacious room with a little pantry and mini bar. It's the best layout I've ever seen. We had dinner alone as the sun was setting on the palace side one night, and the food and service are impeccable. One night at tea they had dancers come out and tango. On a food note, I'm addicted to their Smoothie Balance with banana, cocoa, spinach and almond milk. I have it every breakfast with either oatmeal or whole grain toast with avocado. But the staff here are amazingly sweet. They remember your names and just stop to chat even if they aren't waiting on you. This hotel goes to great lengths to ensure its guests have absolutely no complaints.

Yelp
This hotel has amenities you didn't think you needed: Your personal hotel cell phone. So, you don't have to wait around in your room or use your own roaming minutes for hotel requests, concierge services or calling each other just to whisper sweet nothings to. Personal butler that fetched popcorn, batteries for things we brought that died and other bizarre small requests. We are merely platinum Hyatt members so had early check in, late check out, free wifi (that worked), newspapers in English and fresh fruit. We had first choice seating for any of the restaurants and a spa that I thoroughly abused. The location is convenient to La Recoleta. We paused appropriately in front of Eva Peron and her families's tombs and played a morbid game we had played at Pere Lachaise, with loser buying 2 rounds of drinks. There are many cool boutique hotels and other monstrous size hotels in BA. There is, however, nothing like, American style hotels over seas: Showers that throws water down with a punch and with water that is clear. In this case, that consistent Hyatt hospitality training that lets you diva it up if you want with fresh towels, bed sheets that are sanitized and fresh, and over the top brunches on the weekend. If lazy, the gift shop is a must. I ended up buying a pair of awesome hammered silver candlesticks and some other lovely souvenirs. Place is a treat.

Yelp
This Hyatt is at the highest level. 3 nights here as start of Argentina holiday. Arrived jet lagged and they checked us in upon arrival at 9am. Almost like adding an extra night. I have stayed at some of the top rated hotels around the world and this place is on par at that level. We upgrade to a very large suite and actually spent too much time here because it is so exceptional. It was a palace and still is a palace. Original art work of all types in all areas indoors and out. Your whim is their demand. Cordless phone in room works throughout entire expansive property. Dial zero and someone is always ready to assist. I could go on and on but it is superb in all ways. Yes it's a splurge but something so special it's worth every penny. This is a palace that caters to its guests.

Yelp
What's not to love!!! Service is beyond amazing, food is delicious and not over done. It screams first class without being snobby!! The decor is amazing in the hotel. Every detail you can see is well thought out and with the viewer in Mind!! It's a place to not miss having lunch at!!!

Yelp
Having stayed at a number of Park Hyatt, I think Hotel Palacio Duhau is certainly one of the best ones. The establishment and the facility are almost perfect, the two hotel buildings are connecting by a beautiful courtyard where you can have dinner and host private event. The spa, fitness center, swimming pool, restaurant, business center, concierge, flower shop, art exhibition, hotel room, bar...etc are all 5 stars standard. The staff services are also very friendly and helpful. Overall, you pay for what you get. The only few thing that I wasn't particularly impressed were the checking-in, treadmill in the gym and the breakfast. There were 3 check-in desks and each desk had 1 person at the post, but only one desk was open to check in people and we had to wait for quite a long time. The treadmills were most likely for people who only want to watch TV, they were actually very fancy, got very nice TV on each of them. However, it only shows kilometers and no miles, and you can't key in exactly the speed you want to run, you have to add 0.1 unit at a time, same with incline. So you want to do interval training, good luck with you. You end up pressing the bottom all the time. The breakfast was also a disappointment comparing to other 5 stars hotel, the choice was limited, when the food was running out, they don't get replaced till a very long time, and I saw a big mosquito staying on the mango plate for a very long time, I actually tried to get it off but it wouldn't leave. There was no staff came by to check food, so I think the mosquito stayed there at least for a few minutes. And it took at least 30 minutes for my omelette to turn up.I might sound picky, but i mean, when you stay in an almost perfect place, any imperfection stands out. Nevertheless, it's an excellent hotel, totally recommend it.

Yelp
Went here to grab drinks and an appetizer. Was politely greeted by the host who asked if I was a hotel guest. I said we are not and asked to sit outside. She said there are reservations and sat us inside, I did not mind sitting inside if they were busy. While I was sitting there I heard the host seat 3 other parties outside who did not have a reservation or were not guests. For a 5 star hotel I did not appreciate the level of communication between the host and guest. Disappointed in the quality of service of a a Hyatt hotel.

Yelp
My partner and I both travel frequently for work and leisure, each staying in hotels for 200+ nights/year. We're both Diamond with Hyatt and on a recent vacation to Buenos Aires, we stayed at the Park Hyatt. Once again, it was the perfect getaway. After having stayed at this hotel 15+ times over the past few years it has become one of our favorites. Even though it's a large hotel , the staff are always friendly and very helpful taking time to understand the individual preferences of each guest. A special thank you to Mercedes for all your help and suggestions about the city; thank you to the concierge, Jessica , for helping with a special meal request (even though the hotel was outside of the restaurant delivery zone), and thank you to Paula and your housekeeping staff for accommodating our many requests and the beautiful bouquet of flowers - it made our day!!

Yelp
Love this place. Market just blocks away. Plenty of historical things to see in area. Stayed for a working trip and expensive but for holiday would go again. For work, many other affordable options.

Yelp
Setting and decor are exquisite! The hotel consists of two underground connecting adjacent buildings: one is a newer building containing the hotel rooms and the other is the spectacularly restored Duhau Palace, a former grand residence that now contains the restaurant, spa, and bar/lounge (vinotecca/cigar lounge). At ground level there's a fabulous outdoor garden area resembling a luxurious backyard between the two buildings that's a total delight to have drinks in during nice weather. Only partial issue is that the service is irregular, and not up to that at the Four Seasons that's just down the street in a much larger facility. (Supposedly the Park Hyatt Palacio Duhau was the firmer Four Seasons until they relocated into a much larger, but not as nice, facility.

Yelp
Went to the terrace bar to have a drink before going to dinner. Took 4 people, 20 minutes to get service?? So for $45.00 + tip you can be ignored. Won't go back no reason many better choices

Yelp
This hotel is gorgeous, it's partially a restored palace and the underground connector between the two buildings doubles as an art gallery. Everyone should stay here at least a couple nights, it's such an amazing experience. The surroundings are inspiring and they treat you like royalty.

Yelp
Let me start by saying this was one of the best trips of my life and it was made even better by our stay at The Park Hyatt. We made them aware before hand that this was our 20th anniversary and they treated us like kings and queens the whole trip. We made Buenos Aires our main destination while we traveled through Argentina and Uruguay. They told us from the start that we could stash our big suitcases with the bell desk while we left for several days. After each trip we would come back and stay for a night before we headed out again. Each time they welcomed us back and would have our bags in our rooms and ready for us. We loved having breakfast every morning sitting outside in the back. The service was spot on at every meal. We used the concierge often and Alejandro seemed to go out of his way to take care of all of our needs. We would give him a general idea of what we were looking for and he would give us 3-4 options to do research on. The 3 different rooms we were giving were all excellent especially the room in the Palace. I'm probably forgetting something but to be clear we loved the Hotel! We will be back...
