Beef & Brew - Review - London - The Infatuation

"A small spruced up pub in De Beauvoir Town with craft beers (obviously) and a kitchen specialising in steaks, meat sandwiches and burgers. We stopped into Beef and Brew for a quick drink and an early evening steak, The price and the service was perfectly fine, but the brisket jam nuggets weren’t quite as good our server’s description of them. The £10 early-bird onglet and fries special was perfectly fine. A decent spot for a quick and easy steak and beer. We’ll be back to check out the burgers and other offerings. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

Nice Henners

Portion was great. Pulled pork was very good however the beef lacks seasoning, whilst the onion relish provides sweetness and acidity the whole dish still feels unbalanced. Also £5 a pint. Would go again if local, but wouldn't travel there.

Great local beer selection. Extremely friendly staff. Amazing yummy fries. Pork rib was disappointing as it was tough and didn't melt in my mouth as I had expect having had pork rib in Chicago. Also the buffalo wings were not crispy.

Good range of craft beers and great service. Food really tasty although slightly pricey, I'd say. Home made chips would be a nice touch as well

Excellent pub with great selection of Beavertown and other beers on the site of the original brewery (now elsewhere). Very good food. Not cheap but very high quality. If you like beers you'll be spoilt for choice so go for the sampler of three different 1/3 pints.

My favourite place for their juicy BBQ ribs and one of the best craft beer choice in town ;) Highly recommend ! p.s. Don't forget to reserve the table before you go there.

Believe the hype - the meat these guys serve is amazingly well-cooked. I had the Greatest Hits combo, and the pork ribs, beef rib and pulled pork were right up there with the best I've ever tasted. The meat isn't drowned in sauce but speaks for itself. The wings were great too, as was the beer selection. Thoroughly recommend this joint.

We stopped in Dukes for dinner craving some tasty BBQ food. Arriving at 5:30 we were greeted by a friendly hostess but told the kitchen didn't open till 6. Not to worry, time to chat while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. The staff here are really attentive and friendly which is always a plus. Food wise I have to say this place is average at best. I ordered the stew and I'm not sure what I was expecting but while the portion was plentiful it was really bland and the rice was undercooked and clumpy. Unfortunately the garlic toast also tasted as if the garlic had been left out entirely. The people with me had the ribs which looked delicious but the burger again was so-so. For what it is, it's a little on the expensive side. Would I come here again? Not if it were my choice but given the limited options in the area it isn't bad, there are just better places if you have other locations to choose from.
