A solid 4 stars. The food was tasty, and the service was fast and attentive. My only complaint was that the chicken wings had too much batter. There were small clumps of unfried batter on some of the larger pieces. I probably won't order the wings again, but the green beans and dumplings were delicious.

Dumpling Hours in Oakland is a gem! We enjoyed a comforting Sunday lunch with freshly made noodles and dumplings that were stuffed to order. The flavors were exceptional, with each bite bursting with freshness and authenticity. The dumplings were perfectly steamed, and the noodles had just the right texture. The cozy ambiance and friendly service made the experience even better. Highly recommended.

The absolutely most flavorless meal I’ve had. Noodles in the spicy beef soup was like drinking water from the sink. Fried onion pancakes were not warm and very doughy. Similarly, I thought the dumplings would be good bc it’s in the NAME… also very doughy. Like eating a savory cookie with meat, dipped in sauce. These are overpriced quick eat type dumplings, heavy with the carbs and light on protein. Not gourmet. I usually love dumplings; either way. 2 stars simply because I’m just glad I didn’t get sick but the food is absolutely terrible. I went at dinner time and spent $55 before tip for two people no drinks.

We were walking in the neighborhood and saw this restaurant. It’s full of people during the dinner time! But basically no wait hours. The dishes also came very quick. Shengjian mantou is very good and looked so cute! I like chives pocket. The spiced beef is also good.

Food/Dumplings: no flavor. Cucumber salad: just cucumbers that cost too much! I paid the $30 after eating 4 of 8 dumplings & a couple pieces of their large bowl of garlic cucumbers. Wasn’t at all impressed with the dishes I ordered per the server’s suggestions..

I’m often picky about the soup dumplings as a Chinese, but I have been impressed and think this is the one of the best soup/pan fried dumpling spots in the bay. The dumplings have great presentation and have so much soup that they were too heavy to be picked up by the chopsticks. The decor is modern and clean. Another bonus is that service is also great. Give some patience as they just opened. We were chatting with the servers and they are definitely great people and willing to listen to your feedback when it’s not crazy busy.

A bit crowded but food was delicious! Had steamed dumplings with crab and pork. Very tasty with sauce that came with. Had fried pork buns because we saw others eating. They were a bit tough and messy but good.

Surprisingly a really good place on lakeshore! Came with a group of friends on a Monday evening and we got seated immediately, the servers were attentive, and the food came out fairly quick. The pork xiao long bao is delicious, the garlic noodles were tasty as well but at a very small portion, the pan fried pork buns seems to be their most popular item but it was only alright. Still, I'd definitely recommend trying this spot out!
