Came here for a quick meal before some plans, and the service was efficient with food coming out quickly. The setup is simple, with sauces being self-serve, which is convenient and allows you to adjust flavors to your liking. That said, compared to the Flushing location, the same issues were still present.
My boyfriend and I ordered the shrimp, fish roe, and pork dumplings for $14.99 for 12 pieces. While the dumplings are freshly wrapped every morning and clearly made with care, the portions are small and the pricing feels high. At about $1.30 per dumpling, it’s hard to justify the cost when there are many other dumpling spots that offer similar or better quality at a lower price. The flavor itself was good the fillings were juicy and well seasoned but for me, the value just isn’t there.
I also ordered the beef and vegetable pot with a sour and spicy broth. The broth itself was flavorful with a nice balance of tang and heat, but the portion was small and it only came with a few slices of beef, which made the dish feel especially lacking for the price.
They delivers decent flavor and fast service, but the high prices and small portions remain a consistent issue, similar to my experience at the Flushing location. If price isn’t a concern, it works for a quick bite, but personally, I’d choose other dumpling spots that offer better value.
