The Best Restaurants In Sunset Park - New York - The Infatuation

"For a casual weeknight dinner of hand-pulled noodles, you can have a sit-down meal at Dun Huang and be in and out in under 30 minutes. This cafe has plenty of seating inside, TVs playing Chinese movies, and quick, efficient service. Order at least one spicy cumin lamb burger per person and smashed cucumber salad for the table before moving on to the noodles. We especially love the extra-wide, hand-pulled cold noodles." - Carina Finn Koeppicus, Bryan Kim

Solid spot for authentic hand-pulled noodles in Brooklyn. The big plate chicken was flavorful with tender meat. Prices are reasonable and portions are big. However the “burger” was average — not crispy or flaky. I would definitely come again!

Good noodle shop with reasonable prices, I usually get number 4, the braised beef sirloin noodle. The eggplant side dish is fantastic here, lightly fried and doused with some soy sauce. If you try one side here, get that.

Great inexpensive soup that warms the sound on a cold day. Bought an order of brazed beef noodle soup the other day it was cold and raining. I got it to go and warmed it up when I got home. I was very happy when the noodles came free in the broth, I could tell they were fresh and quality made. The broth was nice and salty with a good hot oil on top. Mild spicy but not overpowering. The beef was fall apart tender, and a few pieces still had the tough membrain on them, but that just keeps good flavor. Plus, what do you expect for around $10? Waygu? Either way, an awesome, inexpensive soup spot that also servers other dishes.

Tasty and inexpensive noodle with genuine beef soup. Great for a rainy day and less crowded than expected. Clean interior and good quality.

Nothing special. Cold dish eggplant, but served in hot? Just like a deep fried eggplant with dressing.

Very good and clear beef noodle soup. The hand pulled noodles had good texture and the beef was very thin and tender. The potato salad was crispy but a bit salty at times. The big pan chicken was decent; the chicken and potatoes was good but the noodles was a bit lacking. The texture wasn't the best. Overall a nice noodle spot, worth the visit.

This place has pretty good beef noodles. I had the Non Spicy Lanzhou Beef Noodle which I will rate a 3/5 because the broth and noodles didn’t have much taste and the beef itself was pretty tough. However, the Soy and Wine Braised Beef Noodle was a 5/5. The beef was nice and tender, very flavorful and the broth was especially good. I would recommend that the most.

The noodles was good. The beef broth had a lot of flavor in it. The spicy noodles is good. Not too spicy. They serve skewers here.. The food came out quick. They don't have a huge variety in drinks.
