"Look, it may not be the best coffee in the city (head to any one of these other fine shops for that) but Dunkin’ is an integral part of Boston’s DNA. Out of the many Dunkin’ locations scattered around town, the coolest one, in our opinion, is in Quincy. Located along Southern Artery, this shop is the first-ever Dunkin’, and it maintains its historical 1950s decor. (Read more about the shop’s history here.) It’s well worth a visit." - Nathan Tavares, Erika Adams, Valerie Li Stack

"Quincy, Massachusetts, is known as the “City of Presidents,” as it is the birthplace of two U.S. presidents: John Adams and his son John Quincy Adams. The city was also the birthplace of John Hancock, the first signer of the Declaration of Independence who was also the first governor of Massachusetts. Formerly part of Dorchester, Boston, and Braintree, the town was named after John Quincy (Abigail Adams’s grandfather, for whom John Quincy Adams is named) and it became a city in 1888. It thrived in the granite, railway, and shipbuilding industries. Besides being the city where notable persons in the U.S. history were born, Quincy is also home to the first ever Dunkin’ Donuts in the country. During World War II, William Rosenberg, a shipyard worker in Quincy, realized that there were not many options for him and his colleagues to have lunch nearby. He then borrowed $1,000 and used another $1,500 to start   “Industrial Luncheon Services” to satisfy workers’ lunch needs. The business sold sandwiches, coffee, doughnuts, and other snacks from a truck. After noticing that 50 percent of the sales were coffee and doughnuts, he decided to concentrate on the most popular items in the menu. He established a new location at 543 Southern Artery, Quincy, named “Open Kettle.” This was the predecessor to Dunkin’ Donuts and sold only coffee and doughnuts for 10 cents and 5 cents respectively. The business was an instant success. Having noticed that customers dunked their donuts in the coffee, Rosenberg decided to change Open Kettle’s name to Dunkin’ Donuts in 1950, and the first Dunkin’ Donuts was born. Today, the restaurant has a retro style to honor its origins. Inside there is plaque that reads “This is the site of the Original Dunkin’ Donuts” as well as original stool chairs in pink and orange colors, and tables with a doughnut shape. There is also a wooden wall with snapshots that tell the history of the first store. While it might not be possible to enjoy a coffee and doughnuts at their original low price, you can enjoy them in a retro environment that’s considered a living museum by Quincy locals." - ATLAS_OBSCURA

Dunkin' Nuts! I love it, guy! We took photos holding our coffees in front of the original location where it all began. Got to talk to a Quincy police officer who dropped the names of three Massachusetts towns he used to work in, even though I wasn't from the area and had no idea where they were. The coffee was fresh and hot. And I ran on Dunkin'!

Google
It's neat that the first Dunkin' ever is right here in Quincy. There were closer Dunkin' locations, but I went to this one solely for that reason. The outside has more of a retro feel because of the original logo. The parking lot is small, and there aren't that many tables inside, but there were a handful of people on a weekday evening. My online order took a bit of time to prepare, but my drink seemed to have been prepped with care, as it came out looking pretty nice. - Small Iced Churro Signature Latte ($4.19): All of the churro flavor was in the whipped cream, but I liked the drink overall, and the price was reasonable. - French Cruller Donut ($1.59): The donut was so small. It seems shrinkflation has hit everywhere, as the donut I got the other day from another Dunkin' was also much smaller than I remembered. However, the taste was good. It also tasted good dipped in my latte. Overall, this is probably one of the better Dunkin' locations in the area: no issues with service, decent selection of donuts still available even later in the day, and clean interior.

Google
Neat to consider the origins of Dunkin', and always a treat to grab a donut and coffee, but you may be disappointed if visiting to be a tourist. It's no longer the actual original building, and the employees that were working on a recent evening didn't even realize it was the original location.

Google
Visited the first ever Dunkin! Awesome to see some of the history behind this place as my parents both worked at Dunkin for over 20 plus years

Google
Visited the World's first Dunkin and was excited to see the cleanliness and ambience and had my usual Donuts and Coffee.. this is a must see and visit location for you to remember....

Google
I expect more from the first Dunkin Donuts (a small museum, more items like mugs or souvenirs), but it's like going to any other.

Google
Good donuts, drinks, and history! Actually to be honest, stuff tastes pretty much the same as any other Dunkin's haha. But the retro makeover is nice, and so were the employees. Also, it's got a bathroom and a clean one at that!

Google
We drove an hour to come to this “historic” location. For an iconic location the service and quality of food was sub par when compared to other locations. The person taking our order could have been brand new, not sure, but every order was messed up. Wrong sizes, flavors, missing item, etc. They were also not familiar with their own menu. The cashier also attempted to get her coworkers help, but they were too busy talking about other non work related items and ignored her like she didn’t matter. Wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to visit.

Yelp
Traveling with family, I got up early to check out the local donut shop. I didn't realize it would be Dunkin', and that the original Dunkin' is where I was staying, Quincy MA, outside of Boston. Fun retro, but throughly modern shop with excellent workers. I had fun choosing breakfast and chatting with the team, they were great. If you are trying to check "originals" off your list, or looking for a good donut . Stop by and you will start the day right!

Denise T.

Yelp
Not much to say it's Dunkin Donuts what could go wrong. Just ordered Coffee But excited that I was in the very 1st Dunkin! Coffee bean is my blood type.

Yelp
The original dunkin donuts location. How awesome is this since I don't know how long but Dunkin' has ALWAYS been my favorite coffee location over Starbucks. But disappointing because when you're on Pike St. in Seattle, WA the line that waits to get into Starbucks first one is insane. The Dunkin one is like not existing and doesn't have the same affect. Visiting the very first Dunkin' Donuts in Quincy, Massachusetts, was nothing short of a pilgrimage for a coffee enthusiast like me. Stepping into this iconic establishment felt like entering the hallowed grounds where the magic of Dunkin' began--a journey back to the roots of one of America's most beloved coffee and doughnut chains. The nostalgia hit the moment I crossed the threshold. The vintage orange and pink color scheme, the familiar aroma of freshly brewed coffee, and the classic signage evoked a sense of warmth and familiarity. It was as if time stood still, preserving the essence of Dunkin's humble beginnings. The interior, adorned with vintage memorabilia and photographs, allowed me to immerse myself in the evolution of Dunkin' Donuts. The journey from a small coffee and doughnut shop to a global phenomenon was palpable in every corner. The original doughnut display, the retro coffee cups, and the antique coffee grinders added layers of authenticity to the experience. What made the visit truly special was the opportunity to sit in the same space where the first Dunkin' customers once gathered over coffee and doughnuts. The people here are very friendly and a good location, but limited for parking space.

Kimberly A.

Yelp
This Dunkin Donuts location has the distinction of being the very first Dunkin Donuts ever. It is on a busy main street so they do a lot of business here. The doughnuts and muffins that they sell here are always fresh and tasty. For the doughnuts that they have here my personal favorite is the glazed doughnut. Highly recommended. There is a little bit of seating here so if you're wanting to enjoy your goodies in the shop you can do that. There is some limited parking outside of this location. The people working behind the counter are always pleasant. Nice place to enjoy coffee and doughnuts.

Mitch W.

Yelp
Visiting the original Dunkin' Donuts was a nostalgic treat! Dunkin' is an iconic part of Massachusetts culture, and this location maintains its historic charm while serving the delicious donuts and coffee fans love. A must visit for history buffs and Dunkin' enthusiasts alike!

James A.

Yelp
The location that started it all, this location was been updated to resemble the original look. Dunkin Donuts made a big change recently to rebrand itself as Dunkin' (dropping the donut from their name). This location still maintains the original look, and is still a working restaurant. Their selection of donuts is pretty small, but had the flavors we wanted and it tasted good/fresh. There are a few signs inside that gives the history (including a plaque showing all the logos/icons throughout the years. Growing up with Dunkin Donuts while being raised in Chicagoland, this was a nice stop for us and worth the out of the way drive while going to the airport.

Bruce K.

Yelp
Unlike the first Starbucks in Seattle, this first Dunkin' in Quincy is absolutely nothing special. There is no "First Dunkin'" merchandise. There isn't even a really special sign out front that says much more than in small print that this was is "Original Dunkin location - established 1950". Unless you're looking for the usual coffee and donuts and sandwiches - no complaints, I'm sure they're great - there's no reason to go out of your way to come here. During World War II, William Rosenberg, a shipyard worker in Quincy, realized that there were not many options for him and his colleagues to have lunch nearby. He then borrowed $1,000 and used another $1,500 to start   "Industrial Luncheon Services" to satisfy workers' lunch needs. Yelp
Roasted: learned that the original Dunkin' Donuts was in Quincy MA so had to check it out. It feels like an old school diner here with booth seating. Busy as to be expected for a Dunkin. Service and speed was exactly what you would expect. They were relatively fast but not overly friendly. They made us iced lattes when we ordered hot ones. They did offer to remake them for us which was nice. Obviously no for here mugs or latte art but we knew that going into this review. My latte was beyond sweet - so much sugar it was nearly undrinkable. The other latte was just pure butter espresso and horrible. I don't know what I expected overall but this is what I expect of Dunkin. Unroasted: super excited to hear that the original Dunkin was a mile away from where I was. I had such high hopes to see the flagship store that started it all. The outside looks really cool with the original logo and the staple brand of the original store underneath. Long line is promising of the consistent dunking brand. Ordered the usual latte and we patiently waited. We received two iced lattes which is not what we wanted. The employee was nice to remake them. What I should have remembered is that this is Dunkin and stick to coffee nothing fancy. My latte was absolutely terrible. Undrinkable Unflavored latte I have ever had. Glad I stopped in but maybe get a donut and black coffee next time.

Yelp
The one that started it all! That deserves five star in itself. I was an exchange student in Vienna, a place well known and UNESCO recognized for its café culture. There are five Dunkies in the whole city, and at least one has a line out the door. After drinking the liquid gold that is Viennese coffee for three months, I popped in to a Dunks. It wasn't that it was good, but rather that it tastes like home. The offerings at this location are nothing to write home about. DD has gotten very good at having consistency across locations (and even countries). Are there better coffees? I'd be lying if I said no. At the same time, nothing tastes quite like home like Dunkies, wherever you are. Here's to the one that started it all! P.S. there was some memorabilia inside, only COVID kept those areas roped off.

Yelp
We enjoyed visiting the original Dunkin' Donuts and seeing the special signage! The actual donuts were stale and disappointing compared to all the other Dunkin' locations we have been to on our monthlong trip throughout New England (which is an embarrassing amount). The location was also a little tricky to get to/get in and out of based on the nearby traffic. Employees were nice enough!

Yelp
A MUST DO! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL DUNKIN DONUTS THAT STARTED IT ALL IN 1950. Don't get overly excited about visiting The Mothership location in Quincy MA. & lower your expectations a bit. Most people Hype this place up in their Minds. They come here & think it's going to be some Huge Place & a Museum etc. etc. etc. ; it's not. Lower your Expectations & you'll be Fine & can really enjoy it. The Cool Part of coming here is just seeing the Original Classic Dunkin Donuts Logo sign right on top of the building as you pull up in your vehicle. Those Large Classic white letters that are written are a Throwback to a Bygone era. That Sign is SO COOL! It is not the modern logo of today that you see on top of Dunkin Donuts shops everywhere. The Side of the building however does have the modern DD lighted sign that you see coast to coast. When you enter the store, you'll see it is divided into 2 sections. The right side of the shop is your modern Dunkin Donuts store of today that is exactly like your own neighborhood shop. The left side however is totally different & has a Classic 1950s Vibe to it. They have colorful Pink & Orange Vinyl Retro Counter Stools & a White Speckled Formica curved counter which is very Cool! They also have some small circular white tables & matching white plastic chairs. There are several tangerine domed lights hanging from the ceiling which are also pretty cool. There are numerous pictures, & Back in the Day Photos & Plaques all over the walls. The whole Retro area however is small. They also have a flat screen here as well. I WISH IT WAS BIGGER & had a museum that featured all the different products Dunkin Donuts offered over the years, flavors & products that have come & gone, commercials from different decades & a Retro Merch Shop but it doesn't. Hopefully they will have something like this in the Future. But for now - It is what it is. I enjoyed having my Dunkin Donuts coffee at this Cool Original 1950s location. If you are in the Quincy MA or Boston area make sure to stop in for a look. It used to be, you had to have Mega Bucks & be really Rich to have the Good Life, not anymore. The Game has changed. You've been Upgraded. Now You Can Live Like a King on a Limited Budget!

Trent L.

Yelp
Before I start this review let me start off by saying that this review is based solely on my opinion and my opinion alone,so with that being said let's begin!. I went in for my birthday rewards item which was a free beverage of my choice so I decided to try their pumpkin cold brew that I feel was a great choice because it was outstandingly delicious,no joke!!. And may I add the customer service was great as well. So you're saying to yourself why didn't he give 5 stars then, well let me tell you why! I forgot to mention I ordered about six chocolate munchkins which were good as well but here is why I took off one star. I also forgot to mention I also purchased two sausage egg and cheese wake up wraps and potato tots which were room temperature at its best and I ate it immediately as soon as I got back in my work truck so there is no reason why I can't have my food hot when I order it!!.. I would return again but only for the cold brew experience only!.

emma p.

Yelp
This Dunkin' Donuts is horribly operated. I waited in line while the workers finished their irrelevant conversations behind the counter before acknowledging that I was waiting a few minutes. I ordered a small iced caramel coffee, regular. Not 15 seconds later they called a small hot caramel coffee. I told the workers I had ordered a small iced, to which they proceed to turn around, poor the hot coffee into a plastic cup with a few pieces of ice, and return the lukewarm coffee with minimal, melted ice to me. I understand iced coffees are more expensive, but it's not my problem they recorded the order incorrectly. The service needs help.

Lee T.

Yelp
Young female cashier... : Attitude! After 7 min... R u waiting for someone... Waiting for a lift to take me work... Open 24/7 NO PLACE TO SIT... NO PLACE TO CHARGE ur Phone while u wait Restrooms R closed???? Hire some one To clean the tables & restRooms. Almost 3 bucks 4 a medium... They r part of the problem.... Not the Solution*

Yelp
I was soooo excited to visit the first Dunkin doughnuts. The experience i s what i was after and I went out of my way to visit it. When I arrived the cashier was a real disappointment. He was like "yEa what do you want?" I told him I waS excited about visiting and he responded with oh I've lived here all my Life what can I get you? Party killer---waasnt even excited about my chocolate doughnuts anymore.

Misty D.

Yelp
As a hardcore Dunkin fan (and Starbucks hater), it has been on my bucket list to visit the very first Dunkin. For the first Dunkin Donuts ever, I expected the setting to be a bit more, I don't know, ...a bit more loud. But hey, they had big restrooms, so that's a luxury Dunkin for you. The outside has their original vintage design, but inside is your 21st century style Dunkin Donuts. I did enjoy their bar style seating and the ample parking available. Same quality food, nothing different here. For some reason I feel like New York still outnumbers Boston when it comes DD locations. Anyways, interesting visit overall. *crosses off visiting first DD from bucket list.

Bridget N.

Yelp
Paid for a Macchiato with an extra espresso shot and it is quite clear I did not get that extra espresso shot. $6.14 for some milk. Everytime I go here it's a disappointment

Adithya Y.

Yelp
Excited to try the first ever dunking. Their hot chocolate machine did not work. They do not have Boston cream donut. Their available donuts are very dry. Might be a bad day. Did not like it. Staff is courteous and friendly. I wished the place maintained better quality and service.

Henry V.

Yelp
I came here to celebrate my anniversary because we both love Dunkin' and always wanted to see the first one. The place is like a normal Dunkin and they try to make it a little retro but still keeps the updated look. They have plaques and signs to represent that it is the first.

Chaya T.

Yelp
Cashier on Saturday morning was quite rude ... did not know the common drink and gave some bad attitude when I kindly asked about my drink which was made wrong.

Ann H.

Yelp
Customer service is so so depending on who you get. Theres a lady, and she's kinda grumpy. It sucks that there's no drive through, but I don't mind going in. Good coffee though...

Kayla L.

Yelp
Although a lot of Dunkin's feel the same, it was really cool to be at the original one. The building is small but the staff was friendly. If you're ever around the area I would definitely check it out.

Danielle F.

Yelp
I saw a photo of this place in another Dunkin and decided to go. It was a fun local trip, as we decided to do some other sightseeing in Quincy. Just wish that they made it more special somehow, besides the few pictures and plaques. Overall an ordinary Dunkin, which I love. And now I can say I've been to the (retro renovated) original. :) In short, worth it if you want to do something else too. :)

Young P.

Yelp
Has everything you would expect at a DD chain. I usually only come here whenever I am near the area for my car oil change. Whenever I come here, I've never had any problem with my orders.

D'Angelo C.

Yelp
very sad state of affairs inside this dunkin; the first dunkin! poorly staffed, dirty disgusting inside; low on supplies (no medium cups for coolata); SUPER LONG WAIT for your coffee bc poor staffing; maybe also why dirty inside. First Dunkin; Disgusting Dunkin.

Jennifer W.

Yelp
OMG we stopped by the OG location for Dunkin Donuts! This totally wasn't on purpose, we just happened to pass by and noticed it on our way to lunch. It kind of stood out became the exterior is old school and doesn't look like the normal DD stores. The guy helping us inside was kind of new, but was super friendly and energetic. All of the employees working were friendly. There aren't a lot of places to sit and hang out, so the signs probably help patrons not overstay their welcome. The parking lot is small, but then again customers just come and go for donuts and coffee. Yelp 100 Challenge - 71 of 100

Henry P.

Yelp
Original location... nice kitsch inside unfortunately the donuts are not made with trans fat so they taste like a sponge. Former shell of what they used to be. Coffee is about watery, food is not so healthy or delicious. Lots of foo foo drinks to compete with Starbucks.

Karl H.

Yelp
Blazing hot in the summer. Freezing cold in the winter. These poor employees don't make enough as it is. The least the owners could do is make it remotely comfortable for them. I just walked in for a coffee and it is colder inside than it is outside.. and it's 38 degrees outside. That's not right. It can't be legal. Treat your employees better than this.

Jessica L.

Yelp
I'm a major dunkin junkie! So being that I was close by, I HAD to visit. And being that I was near Boston I had to get a Boston cream donut. Unfortunately I already had a coffee not too long before from another location so the donut was all I got. No disappointment. I did expect the store to be a bit bigger than it was and something more than the small sign on the storefront announcing it was the first DD. Also, there were some plaques inside recognizing it was the first DD location, just wish there was a bit more signifying that. No matter what, will always be a loyal fan!

DavidLee T.

Yelp
It's open 24/7 cuz it's the original 1,,, But you can't use the restroom... the accountant that started would say that's inhuman,,,,which is pretfy Good..he us deceased!

Jackie M.

Yelp
When in Quincy and you pass the Dunkin Donuts with the fancy script letters just know, you are most definitely passing the OG Dunkin. My first sighting of this establishment was after a longgg day in Boston and I thought it might have been a mirage. Later to my delight, I discovered it was indeed the original. I made a quick stop in the shop for a iced coffee and bagel before leaving Quincy. There is a fancy plaque and a wall of memories otherwise, it is just a regular Dunkin Donuts - possible drug addicts and morning coffee zombies alike. Definitely worth the stop if you're in town but don't go out of your way for this place.

Jing Z.

Yelp
Always good! I only get my dd coffee here! And it taste perfect! The team here works so efficient!

Georgie M.

Yelp
So I'm driving north along 3A in Quincy, completely lost. Thank you, Siri! But then I see this Dunkin Donuts and think, could it be, I wonder? Well, I saw the original looking sign and thought about that old black & white photo in my local Dunkin Donuts. Yep, I've just discovered donut heaven. LOL As you walk in you'll notice a couple of things about this shrine. But realize it was almost sixty years ago, Incredible! My friend Brian S has done an excellent job recapping a number of years in my life through the prism of Mr. Rosenberg and DD. It's a good read. My first DD by the way was back in New York during the mid 1960s. So grab a cup, and take a drive over to the Adam's Presidential homes (Birth and Old House) and think how Quincy has changed the direction of America!

Brian S.

Yelp
The longest journey begins with the first step There are now over 10,000 D&D's in 32 countries. The franchise brings in something like 6 billion dollars and sells a whole lot more than just donuts and coffee. A long, long journey for D&D but even the longest journey had to start somewhere and that somewhere was right here. Back in 1950 William Rosenberg opened up the very first Dunkin Donut on this very spot. Hard to imagine but back then this was the only D&D in the entire galaxy. Of course the building changed through the decades and just recently they remodeled and tried to get sort of a retro look. Actually came out pretty good. The place is typical D&D. Coffee, muffins, donuts and a host of other highly caloric but tasty stuff. This is a very busy place, people zinging in and out carrying all sorts of stuff but the staff seems to keep everything moving. The crappers are usually clean and ample parking is actually available. I usually try to stop here when I happen to be going by not because of the coffee, donuts or bathrooms. I stop here because this is a part of history. There are a few little plaques but I wish there was more to mark the occasion. I bet a lot of people go here and don't even know it was the first. Perhaps they don't even care. Even if you don't like D&D this place is still cool because this is where something that is part of our culture began. The absolute beginning. This is number 1 out of over 10,000. This is where the long, long journey of D&D took it's very first step.

Nat P.

Yelp
The original Dunkin' Donuts. Not sure what it is exactly, but the French Crullers, Boston Cremes, and coffee taste better than all the other locations I've been to. The cashier told me the word is Fred ("Time to Make the Donuts") haunts this place, and he puts extra love into making everything taste so fresh and good. Fred visited right before his death making this very plausible. Make sure to check out the picture of him visiting this Dunkin' location on the back wall. Insider tip: You need a key for the bathroom. If you hate those awkward encounters of having to ask for the key, then you might want to go to the bathroom before you head here. That bathroom ain't pretty either, but this is expected of a place that sells laxative agents like coffee and Maple Bacon Butter Egg Cheese Croissant sandwiches.

Fin H.

Yelp
My 100th review. What to do, what to do? Dunkin Donuts, not just any Dunkin Donuts but Shop #1, howz that? Dunkin Donuts Mecca, how is it possible it hasn't been reviewed before? WTF is wrong with you people? You know the place that has divided families, father against son, mother against daughter, brother against brother, sister against sister, or then again there's the whole "a family that drinks Dunkins together stays together" crowd. The FIRST of 8,800 DD shops around the Globe in 31 countries, serving 2.7 million customers every day since the 1950s, with $5.5 Billion in revenues in 2008 (they're still counting 2009 & 2010). So what about this DD in particular, nothing really, you would never really know it was DD #1 just by stopping in, in fact it sucks parking here like most of the DDs to follow it's example except the parking lot here is even worse than most and they didn't seem to know anything about shop placement back then, it sits on the southbound side opposite of the morning traffic flow. Yet it is still cranking out donuts all these years later. Until you visit here you really can't call yourself a true Bostonian. Once you arrive, you'll either love it or hate it like any other DDs. Some more about #1 http://thecaldorrainbow.blogspot.com/2008/07/dunkin-donuts-store-number-one.html

First Dunkin' in the USA... Heck in the world. The OG. I went purely for the experience of going to the original Dunkin'. And I only went because I was already in Quincy (otherwise I probably wouldn't have made the effort to go). As for being the OG Dunkin', it is like any other Dunkin' I've ever been to. Menu is exactly the same, quality is exactly the same. Seating area is relatively small. Service is quite ok -- nothing too memorable. If you're expecting the OG Dunkin' to be a tourist destination (like the OG Starbucks), you're completely wrong. With that being said, there was no line, and I got my coffee pretty quickly.

Yelp
Had to visit the Mothership, right? One pleasant surprise we found here was a full arsenal of doughnuts during the late evening hour. I've seen plenty of stores that simply let the supply run dry before close and don't apologize for not having the one item they are literally known for. But not here. Grabbed a few Boston cremes and got on our way!

Yelp
The original Dunkin' Donuts! Just something about getting a donut from the original DD store makes everything taste better. Staff is awesome and very nice plus I truly thing the donuts taste better here.

Yelp
I must say, I LOVE this DD!!! I love it's look and feel and the people working there are super cool and nice. The decor is lovely, as if it was back in the 50's. Not that I know what it looks/feels like but saw many on TV and this definitely makes it a nice *time travel* gem. Love it!!!

Yelp
Terrible customer service. I courteously bought a drink so that I could use their restroom, and as soon as I close the door an older lady who works there starts banging on the door yelling at me to come out immediately and that she's calling the police. I came out and explained this was the only reason I came in and she told me off like I was the most idiotic inconvenience she's ever encountered for using the bathroom during Covid. There's a Dunkin' on every corner don't be fooled by thinking this first one is worth visiting. Not until management hires workers who treat customers like human beings.

Yelp
I love this location. You get a great sense of history of the chain. You can see where it all began. Grab a coffee and some donuts. And if you want, head around back and pick up some heroin. One stop shop!

Yelp
This place is sick cuz if you go in late enough the donuts are only a dollar cash because the employees just pocket the money.

Yelp
Aside from the now out of character old timey choice of text spelling out "dunkin donuts" at the front of the building, and if course the plaque outside labeling this building as the first ever Dunkin', this is pretty much your average Dunkin. I honestly didn't know this place existed. I mean I knew there must be a first Dunkin ever, but I didn't know it was here. We happened to be driving by and the text pretty much have it away (with a confirmation by looking it up online). Anyway, donuts were tasty, and the coffee is always great. We took scan age of the 99 cent lattes going through March. I think in addicted.

Yelp
The first Dunkins ever! Great inside, nicely renovated with historical frames and plaques vintage but chic and modern at the same time. Service is super quick and it's delicious.

Yelp
Was enjoying coffee with an old friend when we were told to leave for staying over 20 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous! I've never been to a coffee shop that kicks out paying customers. There are plenty of other coffee shops in Quincy that I will take my business to instead.

Yelp
I'll go to this location anytime. It's the original DD's from the 50s with a retro makeover. It's nice that there are a few tables to hop on the wifi and to enjoy that cup of joe. It's remarkable how fast the staff can be when there's a line or even just 3-4 people. Mary, the cashier, is sweet and so friendly. DD's caramel latte is so delicious and I think it's comparable to Starbucks.

Yelp
Today...Big smile on my face. My favorite french roasted coffee on hand and the jelly donuts holes on another. It reminds me of the good old school days and morning runs. Great pick me up! Now I moved to the west coast I will miss Dunkin'Donuts. Please open more stores there.

Yelp
Horrible customer service. I was in there on December 7th 11:50pm. When i walked in the white guy at the counter was busy on his cell phone. Once he put his phone down he began to tell me about the conversation with his girlfriend? I really don't care I'm working and I need to get back. all I ordered was a coffee and oatmeal. he gave me the oatmeal without water in it? I asked him if I could please get hot water and a spoon. he overflowed the cup with hot water and took the spoon out of the wrapper and asked me if it was too watery. I was in a rush and needed to get back to work. I said that's OK I'll take it but I asked him for the cover for it since I was driving and it was overflowing with hot water. I should've been paying attention but he put the cover on half assed and when I picked it up hot water spilled all over my hand and the counter. I told him to forget it I'll get it somewhere else. then he mumbled in a raspy junkie voice "I can make another one" I was already late and didn't have time to go through that hell again. How hard is making oatmeal??
