Dunkin’ (Donuts) Gearing Up for Major San Diego Expansion | Eater San Diego

"Set to debut on Washington Street before the end of October, this Hillcrest Dunkin' will include a drive-thru window and is part of the company's push to expand its coffee-and-doughnut presence in San Diego." - Candice Woo

Dunkin’ Donuts Drive-Thru Heading for Hillcrest | Eater San Diego

"I'm seeing that a Dunkin’ Donuts is moving into Hillcrest to replace longtime taco shop Los Panchos on Washington Street; it's scheduled to open in early summer and will be run by local franchisee Burton Foods LLC, which operates several San Diego-area stores including locations on military bases and stand-alone shops in Point Loma, National City, and downtown San Diego. The Hillcrest location will be modeled after the El Cajon branch (which launched last summer as Dunkin’s first next-generation concept in San Diego) and will feature a more modern design, digital kiosks, expanded grab-and-go options, and an eight-tap system pouring nitro-infused cold brew, iced tea, and more; the existing drive-thru window will be retained and a walk-up counter added. Dunkin’ even parked a mobile doughnut and coffee truck at the site to preview the menu Monday–Friday from 7 a.m. to noon, and customers will be able to order via the drive-thru or the Dunkin’ mobile app for fast grab-and-go service." - Candice Woo

Google
Dang good donuts! I would say it's much better than random donut shops. It has a nice cake consistency and very fresh. When the lines are long you don't wait very long at all.

Google
The staff at this location are OUTSTANDING 😃 The energy, the friendliness, the hustle to get food done and get you on your way. The way they cover eachother off. The way they even give the customers little compliments and lots of smiles. We are visiting from Canada (British Columbia and Ontario) and this was a perfect send off as we leave beautiful California! We didn't use the drive through so got more exposure to the staff than is normal. I wish I had cash on me to give them all a generous tip! The sit in space is not nice but if you had to dine in at least you are in the company of the wonderful young people that work there. It's otherwise a total 5-star experience!!

Google
I ORDERED a chocolate donut , it was 12 they said they were out and no more was being made today , so I got the chocolate it tasted old like it had been sitting since yesterday. My wife ordered a latte and got somebody else order but she loved her drink this was the only positive thing I can say about this place I ordered 2 different types of donuts and they were old , I love Dunkin but this one should be shut down it was horrible .

Google
Great customer service - the staff had our Grubhub order ready at the time I set for pickup and everything was packaged well! Everyone was very nice/courteous and the area was clean - can't ask for better than that. Thanks for a great catering/pickup experience!

Google
Ordered through the app a Bacon, Avocado, and Tomato sandwich, plus a medium regular coffee. The coffee was good as usual. The sandwich was missing the tomatoes. The employee told me they ran out of tomatoes. The app needs to have a real-time interface with the selected location, so you'll know not to prepay for an order that cannot be completely filled. Other Dunkin locations will give you a few donut holes for your trouble, but not this location. Update: Got a Boston Cream donut and a Turkey, Cheese and Egg Breakfast sandwich. Both were very good.

Google
Yesterday at 10 AM, I had a very unpleasant experience at the drive-thru. Because of the employee’s unprofessional attitude, I could not even receive my order. If this is how customers are treated, I will definitely not return to this place.

Google
Hash browns cooked in really old oil (could tell by the color of them. Croissant really dark like it was cooked or heated too long. Barely any cream cheese on my bagel. This location just needs to shut down.

Google
Not so good. Poor service very limited donut options. Seemed like they are more focused on drinks and coffee. Purchased Three different donuts glazed, custard filled and chocolate glazed cake donuts didn't seem fresh.$6.75 Next time crispy cream donuts.

Yelp
I had to try the sangria refresher and OMG SO REFRESHING!! Like what?!!! I got it with green tea but you can add sparkling water, lemonade, or honestly whatever you like since it is a concentrate. Not pictured are hashbrowns and two sausage egg and cheese wraps. There was plenty of parking around 3-3:30pm. The service was fast and friendly. They were smiling and answering questions, so I'm pleased with the customer service. It made my day forreal. The music was a vibe too. But you know I'll catch a vibe wherever I go. Anyway loved the refresher. I'm sure my hubby and I will be back. He also got a crème filled donut not pictured but he said 10/10! The total for all of this was $17. Get you that refresher OKAY OKAY !!!

Yelp
Shrinkflation much? I'm a fan of Dunkin's Boston Creme donut, but this one was about 1/3 smaller than normal for about the same price. Fingers crossed that it's not the same at other Dunkin's. Don't be fooled by the limited amount of donuts displayed, they have more behind the counter. Odd, not-inviting design of the building, Nice staff.

Yelp
Where I grew up, Dunkin' Donuts was the big player when it came to donut shops. Krispy Kreme was not available and Tim Hortons did not establish themselves until much later. I even remember the times when a dozen donuts could be purchased for $2.99 with a coupon. Fast forward to the present, and the word 'Donuts' has been dropped from the business name. Prices are more than $1 per donut, and there are so many more competitors ranging from neighborhood mom 'n pop shops to places that sell gourmet style products. This location in Hillcrest used to be open 24/7 when it debuted before the pandemic. The operating hours have been cut in half now from 5 am to 5 pm. Some varieties sell out early and may not be replenished for the remainder of the day. The donuts I did purchase (e.g. glazed, jelly, strawberry frosted) were decent but didn't stand out to what you can get elsewhere in town for a similar price. The place inherited a less than ideal setup from the previous business which was a taco shop with a drive-thru. I saw a line of vehicles uncomfortably backed up on the premises without a parking spot to wait for your order like many fast food joints offer nowadays. The on-site lot had only six spaces, one of which was designated for the handicapped. For the couple of times I have visited this Dunkin', the experience was at a less than three star level.

Yelp
I'm a sucker for Dunkin' and while I don't have one striking distance from my house, I'll still stop in for a casual dozen and a cup of coffee. Here is the deal... Have you been to a Dunkin' before? Yes? Okay, well, you know exactly what you're going to get but this location (a former drive-thru taco shop) is now an condensed and older version of what you may be used to, but the donuts and coffee are on par with what you've always loved or hated about Dunkin'. Other than that there's not too much more to report! - $14.00 a dozen - Small parking lot out front - Drive-thru for ease in ordering and pickup

Yelp
Everything was great, except when we were trying to park, there was nowhere to park... all the spots were taken? so we had to leave our car in a weird position inside and just make sure nobody won't come to tow it while we were eating with my toddler and best friend along with her kid
google avatar

Marcie L.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the outdoor, open seating. Parking can be a pain, but they do have a drive thru. The staff members were very friendly. I was served rather quickly. The wrap was delicious, but pretty absurd to pay almost $8 for a small, fast food wrap. Also, their coffees are even higher priced than Starbucks.

Yelp
This has been a great spot for our clinic to get food and drinks for our staff the order and the Dunkin staff is usually so nice. Today my coworker went through with our order and the manager said he was taking too long and he had, "doctors and lawyers waiting for their orders." For one, I understand time management and we will get future orders in order so it speedy. Yet, the verbiage of the customers occupations are relevant for what? To make us feel insignificant due to our occupation. Yet we are all active duty military officers and enlisted both having many years in the service but why do I have to bring up that we are military to get good service. I told the manger it was wild and he said no and we went back and forth. Very unprofessional and a super bummer. This incident took place on 20 August.

I found hair in my donut. Tried to call to speak to someone about this and no one is answering the phone it goes to voicemail and conveniently the mail box was fu

Yelp
Dunkin' Dozen!!!!! The greatest guilty pleasure!!! Frozen coffee, breakfast sandwiches and chocolate frosted donuts are a favorite! Always check the Dunkin' Rewards!

Yelp
Could someone tell me where the hash browns are loaded? Is loaded in the room with us? More like a load of... nvm. Lemme play nice. Smh.

Yelp
Sure! Here's a revised version with a kind tone and corrected grammar and spelling: --- If you enjoy Dunkin' Donuts, you'll find exactly what you're looking for here This location offers all the standard favorites. Let's address the less-than-perfect aspects first: the reason I didn't give this place five stars is that, as a local, I would often order through the app and then walk over to pick up my coffee. Some days, the lobby is open, while on others, I had to go through the drive-thru, and occasionally, I even picked up my drink from the back. While there may be valid reasons for this inconsistency, it can be a frustrating experience to encounter surprises before getting your coffee! Now, onto the positives: the people here are truly amazing. Although some employees have come and gone, the core team has been such a joy to interact with. I saw them nearly every day for one reason or another, and I genuinely appreciated how they acknowledged me when I walked in. It created a small-town vibe in the heart of the big city. If you live in the area, you're likely aware of the challenges faced by the homeless population, many of whom struggle with mental health issues. While other places might treat them as a problem, I've noticed that the employees here extend kindness through even the smallest gestures. One particular day, as closing time approached, I witnessed an erratic interaction with a homeless person who paused long enough to ask for water. This situation felt uncomfortable, but the employee, unfazed, kindly grabbed a cup of water and a donut hole to give to him. This simple act instantly calmed the man, and he left peacefully. It's hard to fully convey the nuance of this experience in writing, but I want to express that I've seen many businesses handle similar situations poorly. Here, however, they approach it with compassion and respect. I've been coming to this Dunkin' since it opened (when Los Ponchos moved next door), and while I've only seen this kind of kindness a handful of times, those moments have touched me deeply and earned my admiration. These experiences gradually drew me away from my local Starbucks to frequent this Dunkin'. Unfortunately, after nearly eight wonderful years in Hillcrest, I had to move to Northern California, and I will truly miss seeing everyone here. I wish them all the best. If there were a survey I could take or any accolades I could offer beyond this, I would be more than happy to do so. No place is perfect, but I believe that you get what you give. If you come in with the right attitude and treat these amazing people with respect, you'll definitely be appreciated in return.

Yelp
Food was pretty solid. But if I was a manager at this location, I'd want to know that only July 26th, at 4:15PM, the guy who handed me my food was absolutely high out of his mind. Very obvious that he was struggling to do pretty much anything. Yikes.

Yelp
This Dunkin' location seems to emit unhealthy fumes. Donuts, coffee, sausage wakeup wraps not up to par here or in La Jolla. Service varies. No ambiance. Value fair. Drive thru a plus.

Logan S.

Yelp
wake up wrap. More like a soggy undercooked recipe for a stomach ache. Save your time and money and just go to Starbucks!!

Yelp
Felt like a sweet treat while on an errand in Hillcrest with my daughter. We ordered an Apple fritter, a classic chocolate sprinkle and a blueberry glazed. Very underwhelming. No napkins provided in the bag either.

Bon M.

Yelp
Don't ever come here for a coffee. This is what I has for cookie butter cold drew and it's taste like garbage
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered the maple bacon croissant sandwich, and let me tell you, it delivered. The flaky crust was perfect, and the maple bacon had just the right mix of sweet and salty--basically, breakfast perfection. My wife went for the cookie batter matcha latte, which, honestly, I'm not even going to try to remember all the ingredients for. She liked it but felt it was missing cookie crumbles inside the drink. Guess you can't have it all.

Yelp
Hillcrest Dunkin' was a horrible experience for our car group. It didn't measure up to our experiences at other Dunkin' locations. Fails on Food and Ambiance, and has mediocre Service. There are only a few other locations in the San Diego area, and they are much, much better in my opinion (Mira Mesa, El Cajon, downtown near Petco park)! To be fair, the workers are probably great people and deserve a reward for sticking it out there, but they don't seem to have much to work with. The location seems bad; It's too small, no parking, no cooking/baking on premises, almost nowhere to sit. Products are delivered there from a larger store that has ovens, and when they run out, too bad. We're from the Northeast US where Dunkin' has hundreds of stores, many of them "satellite stores" like this one. However, this location doesn't appear to live up to their standard! I agree with one of the other reviewers. If you're just looking to grab a no-frills cup of coffee for about $3 ( instead of $5-buck-Star), then you might be happy with what you get, if they haven't run out. For our car group it wasn't worth the 15-min drive. [Not being cruel, just honest]

William F.

Yelp
Great drive through service. It was quick and they ensured I had everything for a big coffee container that served about 15 people. The donuts were fresh.

Yelp
Love Dunkin. Skip this location. Understaffed. Not the fault of the peeps inside. Must be a management thing. Order ahead is a joke. You still need to wait in line and then get to front of line and they don't have your order ready AND don't have the items you ordered. Nightmare.
google avatar

Yelp
Honestly I've been going to this Dunkin for awhile before leaving a review. I can't speak to the food but the coffee is quick, reliable and affordable. I only frequent the drive thru which can be difficult to navigate during rush hour. But that's the case at every coffee shop in the morning. Now the main reason I'm writing this review is thank the manager Larry who was kind enough to give me a coffee when I realized I forgot my card this week and was going to exit the drive thru and cancel my order. It's a small gesture but when you are rushing to work on a Monday and realize you left your wallet at home - a small act of kindness is all you need! So bravo to this Dunkin crew who likely put up with a lot of crap and still managed to give me a smile this week!

Steven G.

Yelp
This is the worst run dunkin in history . Can't ever get an order correct , never have anything in stock , it's sad . Nobody knows what they are doing , took 30 mins to get my order and as usual it's wrong , got the food which was wrong then waited 10 more mins to get the coffee that was as usual wrong as well . Get new management and employees or close shop
google avatar

Hannah W.

Yelp
Super understaffed, we waited 30 minutes to get a coffee and bagel.. not only that but there's a whole bunch of coffee grinds left in the coffee. Safe to say I'll look to go to a different location.

Yelp
I decided to check out Dunkin' with my friend since they were offering heart shaped donuts for Valentine's Day. When I arrived, I just got the Bavarian Kreme and Boston Kreme heart shaped donuts. My friend opted for Cupid's Choice and a maple donut. Service was quick, since we just needed to pay. The donuts were average- nothing special about them. The cupid's Choice was pretty, since it had pink frosting with sprinkles on top. Overall, a decent place to get your donut fix.

Yelp
Dunkin', formerly "Dunkin' Donuts", shortened its name in 2019 to suggest that it had abandoned its 1940's roots to become something new and different. Don't be fooled. Congratulations are due to the brand manager or ad exec who paid their kid's college tuition with the laziest and most disingenuous marketing ploy since Wienerschnitzel dropped its "Der". The Fourth Rule of Marketing* is, "If you can't change the product, change the package." I guess if that's too much work, you can just change the name. Dunkin' Donuts (I refuse to play along) said that they relabeled themselves as a "beverage-led" company focusing on coffees, teas, quick service and carryout food, including breakfast sandwiches, snacks and donuts. The change made perfect sense. The company was built on crappy donuts, and adding lousy turkey sausage sandwiches and awful cream cheese-stuffed "mini-bagels" to its menu wasn't likely to offend its fans, who'd grown up eating donuts that always seemed to have been made several days ago, from inferior ingredients, by someone who doesn't like people very much. Around the US (but not, per their website, in San Diego County) some Dunkin' Donuts stores redeem themselves by staying open 24 hours a day. If you're aimless, hungry, wired and drunk, you can stop by at such places and kill the rest of the night, a sip and a bite at a time, albeit with terrible food, which any aimless, hungry, wired, drunk person will tell you is better than no food at all. Unless you live in San Diego. Here, at any time of the day or night, you can ignore Dunkin' Donuts entirely, and instead drive through the Krispy Kreme on Clairemont Mesa Blvd., which provides the best donuts that money can buy. ********** * #1 Sex Sells #2 So do puppies #3 Repetition, Repetition, Repetition

Yelp
ew what a horrible experience the manager there is such a joke , he took our order in the drive thru I got my regular order an iced coffee with cream & french vanilla and I asked for 2 cups of ice... tell me why after he took our orders this goofy man starts talking abt us but with his MIC ON WITHOUT REALIZING so embarrassing for him lol he said things abt us "ordering the whole store " & was clearly mad that we wanted to buy 2 cups of ice because he kept saying " imma charge them for it " which we don't care for. Sirrrr, it's literally like 10cents ??? I can honestly say more that happened but he just gave me 2nd hand embarrassment he kept rambling about us so when I finally got fed up of him talking bad abt us for absolutely no reasonnn I said " your mic is on" so he knew we heard everything at the drive thru a different person attended us and when I brought up the behavior of the person over the mic he tried to deny everything & even said they had no mic like boy what ? If you're going to be bold talking smack abt someone make sure to stand on what you say & if you can't don't open your mouth to begin with coward ! also we go here often so I was able to get his name I believe it is Aaron he looks older maybe 30s mid 30's looked like Gru from Despicable Me so If management sees this y'all can figure out he is lol

Yelp
We just left this location after a long line on Labor Day with extra perks for mobile order mondays And the staff I must give their kudos. The orders coming through were chaotic and the mobile order printer was non stop. One young lady seemed to be flustered and getting agitated when the other employees stepped in and saved the day There were clearly a lot of customizations a woman I believe was the MOD in a DD polo was fantastic. I watched her check orders names verify details wipe down cups before presenting. Yes there was a wait but my entire order was correct, fresh and packaged properly. There were two other employees working up front with her that got everything organized and were just as efficient and diligent with the details. I believe it was Beto and I wish I could remember the other name but they were just wonderful and had the coolest piercings Awesome job handling the chaos this team is a pro

Yelp
Don't order for pickup here. I ordered ahead. There's no parking. Had to park far and walk. I ordered at 9:18am. It was already 9:55, and my order is still missing the breakfast sandwiches. I've been patiently waiting, then I saw a guy walk in and got his sandwiches right away. I asked for a refund. They're disorganized there. They only prioritize drive thru.

Yelp
I had a nice cinnamon roll from this Dunkin Donuts, but I do remember that being quite larger than the one I had, and for less money. Anyways, cinnamon roll was good. It was not overly sweet, but sweet enough and the cinnamon flavor came through nicely. The roll was soft and recently made. The young lady at the counter was a little, I don't want to say unfriendly, so let's go with unpeppy. A little more excitement, just a little, would be beneficial. The place is very small and more suited for a drive thru, as they offer here. There are a few tabled inside, but I imagine most take their donuts to go.
google avatar

Fred S.

Yelp
I hate to say this because I love Dunkin', but this location is so consistently bad, it's embarrassing. I keep going back because I have faith, but it never turns out well. Wrong orders, late wait times, zero parking - i'm down. Also, the employees park in the lot, which already has limited parking. Just go to the Dunkin's downtown, or any of the other quick-breakfast places.
google avatar

Kimberly A.

Yelp
First of all, they stated I couldn't apply my crafted iced coffee reward that it only applied to a signature drink ,which is false . I said ok and ordered the turtle signature latte which they can still do but just not put the sprinkles . But this location they stated they can't put whip cream , and made my drink super dark , it's a light color drink which I posted in the last picture how it's done . Was giving attitude, and what I said on drive thru , they repeated the complete opposite , and At drive thru chuckled ..., was a African American woman. Working the drive thru window ., need a manager to fix this and being a customer that always goes to Dunkin, it is upsetting thinking how other customers are getting treated .

Yelp
I've been looking forward to this store opening since I first saw the sign when they bought out the previous business. I'm not a coffee drinker, but enjoy something sweet now and again and anticipated the ease of a drive-thru but unfortunately, it didn't live up to any expectations. Given the size, I just assumed the menu would be limited and service would be quick. Granted, I can't blame the business for people who don't know what they want... but there was one car in front of me and no kidding... took them 10 minutes to place their order! I mean seriously, why don't you just have them drive to the window and you can talk face-to-face if you don't understand them or they don't know what they want. I wouldn't mention but when I finally got to place my order, I said I just wanted to buy a single donut. The person taking my order kept asking if I wanted a dozen or other larger quantities but I just wanted one. When she realized she couldn't sell me more... she told me to hold on and left! So, if I wanted to buy a dozen donuts you would help me, but if I only want one... my business isn't worth your time? Finally, she was ready to take my order and I asked for an "old fashioned" glazed. Pretty straight forward and a donut that's been in existence longer than I have. I waited another 10 minutes or so before I actually got to the window and thinking... this has got to be one amazing donut to make this trip worthwhile. I paid for my donut and just wanted to get out of there. Sadly, I didn't think to check my donut but once at home, I saw what was given was one single plain donut! How in the world do you ever confuse a "plain" donut with an "old fashioned" neither of which sound anything like the other. And if you don't know what an old fashioned is... you shouldn't be working here. Clearly when I said I wanted a glazed old fashioned, surely they should have known that's not a "plain" donut. For something I thought would take 1 minute or less turned out to be a 20+ minutes and I didn't even get what I ordered. Sure, businesses always have bad days... but when you are this new and this is the type of service you provide in the beginning... well, there is another donut shop just a couple of blocks away and I know they always get their orders correct. It's just sad that a corporation as large as DD provides such substandard service. No need for an owner/manager to contact... I won't be back.

Yelp
I love Dunkin but I do have to admit I was a bit disappointed. This location is convenient because it's right off the freeway and you don't have to drive 10-15min to get to it once you hop off the freeway like the other Dunkin locations in San Diego. It's SUPER tiny, but they have a drive thru which is great. It was honestly my first time going to Dunkin at night in San Diego and they actually had the Bavarian Cream donut. On numerous occasions and several other locations when I go at night they're out of the donut. I ordered my usual Bavarian cream donuts and an XL coffee. When I was ordering and picking up the stuff from the window, the people here seemed rude and lack any sort of customer service. There was no hi, how are you. I was the one who initiated the hello and the guy looked at me confused by the fact that I said hi, and said hi in a really confused voice. Swiped my card, handed me goods, and that's it. I'm not asking for a conversation, but it doesn't hurt to say hi to your customers. Like how long is someone really gonna wait in the drive thru for you to talk to them. The drive thru was fairly quick for me which was nice. But when I got home to munch on the donuts they were a bit stale. They weren't the soft Bavarian cream donuts I'm used to. They had Bavarian cream, but you had to put some word into biting and chewing those donuts. This location just needs to make sure the donuts are fresh and that the employees learn some customer service skills and I think it would actually be a good spot to go to.

Yelp
I purchased a coffee with oat milk and when I recieved it in the drive thru I drove away immediately after getting it. I'm already 5 minutes away getting on the freeway and I take a sip and it's so bitter. I'm a frequent Dunkin customer so I knew by the color and the taste no oat milk had been added. Of course I'm paying extra for oat milk so it's upsetting when there's none in my drink and I go home and use my own ingredients which defeats the purpose of getting a coffee as a treat. I reached out to Dunkin to see if I could get a refund and I expected the process to be quick. This happened on September 20th. I receive 4 phone calls and a text one September 24th. I'm in college I'm in a class and my phone is blowing up. I look and see it's a Dunkin RGM named Kody Deragon. I could go into more detail but I just attached the images as to how this was handled. It's not 4 weeks since he reached out to me and I still have not recieved my gift card he promised one week ago. I work in the food service industry and this is not how you treat a customer. I'm very frustrated because it feels like I'm dealing with a child who I have to remind every week to do something I asked for a month ago.

Yelp
I have been seeing Dunkin' Donuts more on Instagram lately so on a spontaneous late night adventure to satisfy our late night donut craving, we drove to this closest Dunkin' Donuts location at 1am. I have noticed more Dunkin' Donut locations popping up around California as well so I wanted to try it for the first time. There was no phone number on Yelp for this location, so it was unclear if this store was in fact open 24/7. We arrived at this location at 1:30am and from the street, the store appeared to be closed. However, upon driving through the drive-thru, we were greeted by an employee through the speaker. It was a lucky day for us because the employee gave us great service by being very honest about the freshness of the donuts and by hooking us up with a few extra donuts for free. His honesty was very refreshing as he told us that the donuts had been sitting out since 4pm and were a bit hard. He even told us the best time to stop by for fresh donuts: 5-6am daily. He went above and beyond by offering us Irish Creme flavored coffee, which has not been released to the public yet. Donuts: Just ok, I didn't expect much since they had been sitting out for hours. We liked the chocolate flavor the best. If you want to get better quality and fresher donuts this late at night, it would probably be best if you go to Krispy Kreme instead. Iced Coffee: Would not recommend the Irish Creme because it was extremely sweet to the point that I stopped drinking halfway. Bacon, Egg and Cheese Croissant: $5 for 2! Average (3/5). The egg was nice and fluffy while the bacon was somewhat crunchy.

Yelp
An update a year later. This place is still trash. There's one particular employee on the morning shift. Large guy who refuses to hand things to customers and forces them to undo their seatbelts and reach into the building to grab the items. Every single time. Beyond that, I find it hilarious this place has no donuts available today, the main thing they sell.

Yelp
Worst customer service I've experienced! Went there on Wed 9/11/24 around 8:45am to really quickly go through the drive thru and the order screen was black and nobody said anything through the speaker for about five minutes so I ended up parking and going inside. There were three workers and about three customers inside, some were already eating and drinking but as I stood in line, none of the workers acknowledged me and some customers just kept going back and forth in front of me to get whatever they needed and I could see nobody was going to say anything to me so I finally said "hello??" like three times before a young Mexican guy looked at me like I was wrong for getting their attention. I asked him if the drive thru was open and he looked at me crazy and said yeah so I when I asked him why didn't anyone take my order he just stared at me then him and some other lady started telling me how "busy" they are and began arguing with me then started yelling and asking me irrelevant and immature questions such as "what's the worst experience you've ever been through" & to be honest I don't even recall what I said because they were both yelling and coming for me I blanked and just said "forget this, I am out" and the guy still kept on asking me that crazy question as I was walking away upset. The workers I believe were racist and young and did not care about their job, which I could tell. They were very rude and their attitudes were just plain ugly. When I asked for the manager they both started arguing with me so I could not ever hear anything. Super frustrating and it was way too early for all that noise.

Yelp
My partner and I went to Dunkin' donut this morning on Monday oct 3 . There were 2 girls in the front and two guys doing the drive thru. It seems like the girls were new because they didn't know what they were doing . I got my order wrong and my partner got his matcha latte wrong . I ordered a simple large hot coffee with cream and sugar and I got a dark regular coffee with a dirty cup ? My partner ordered the large matcha latte he got the small one ? I get it you're new cause I've been there but if you don't feel confident always ask for help instead of getting the orders wrong... big disappointment.

Yelp
EDIT as of 3/4/2023: KeyShawn, in the drive-thru, is still consistently awesome and treats customers exceptionally well that is very rare, sadly nowadays. We only come to this location because it seems they've hired great staff different from a year ago. Whomever the manager /owner is you really need to recognize your exceptional employees!!! Hands down the employees you have now, are helping your business. OG Review: KeyShawn ROCKS! He had our order ready the minute we got to the window. THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE HAD AT THIS LOCATION TODAY BY THE STAFF WORKING ESPECIALLY HIM! I removed My poor review of service from just over a year ago, as the owner clearly listened and had a staff change, for the better. Great location!

Yelp
Yummy! Who doesn't love some Dunkin? This place hits the spot when I need it to. The staff are super friendly and they love to give my dog a treat when I bring her along. The coffee and donuts are always fresh. You can park in their lot (3 or so spaces) and walk up to their patio to order, or use the drive through. -1 star because the drive through spills out into the street and blocks traffic. This is an issue often.

Yelp
The wait is insane and the staff are so overwhelmed. I was there early in the morning and I was shocked to see how many cars were in the drive through. even the parking lot was packed when I arrived. There is not a big choices of donuts only a small shelf. I never been there so I don't know if it's because of the pandemic or it's been like this even before.

Yelp
We were really looking forward to a frozen coffee for our drive back to Orange County. After Yelping this place I figured it would be fine because we weren't ordering donuts. Wrong! The person taking our order was very pleasant. The frozen coffee on the other hand was bitter. We've never experienced that before and we've been to our fair share of DD's on both coasts. Suffice it to say, we will not be returning.

Yelp
Riddle me this: why is it...that I can kick back about 5-7 of these Dunkin' Donuts no problem? WELL...the secret is in the batter. Krispy Kreme & Dunkin are VERY similar. Don't argue w/ me, it's the truth. Blind-fold taste test challenge: you wouldn't be able to tell one difference - both are are straight dangerous choices. Why is that? Well....they are very airy & light' feeling so one can easily devour quite a few in one sitting, no lie. Overall, I prefer the old school, classic, 31+ flavors & styles to choose from going for 50 cents a pop$, open 24 hours with the busted sign missing a letter kinda donut shop. That's just me. They are thicker, thicker is better & 2 hits the spot so I'm not gobbling 5-7 donuts & hating myself for it. Ooooo, basically miss me w/ the fancy donut bar typa places, nope they ain't it. At the end of the day, any donut makes me happy (maple bar to be exact) mmmmmm paired with a nice cold glass of unsweetened vanilla almond milk on the rocks! Oooh SHEESH! Now we talkin. Men, ladies, whoever...please forget the chocolates on Valentine's Day. That ain't it!!!! Get a box of donuts instead. They the truth! (4/5 rating: due to that the maple bar they have is truly not a maple BAR, more so a maple ring/circle thang & I'm a women with a particular taste for my maple bars oh & also the parking & pricing here is not thee greatest in comparison to other donuts shops mmkay jus sayin')

Yelp
I've always had amazing service and my Dunkin favorites every time I stop by. My go to is the power breakfast sandwich, blueberry or chocolate glazed donuts, and a pumpkin coffee. This is a national chain, not a mom and pop shop. Stop complaining and enjoy having a Dunkin that is easy to get to with speedy service! Don't forget to use your Dunkin app to get free rewards.

Yelp
0.5 stars These were hands down the worst donuts I've ever had. Donut bar none. And I feel bad about it because the staff were so friendly and helpful. * French cruller (0.5/5) - Mushy and stale. * Apple fritter (0.5/5) - Slushy and stale. Tasted nothing like an apple fritter. More appropriate names include "apple bitter" (because it will embitter you) and "apple counterfeiter" (because, well, it's obvious). * Glazed (0.5/5) - No. * Donut hole (0.5/5) - no. In its rebranding, Dunkin' Donuts must have removed the "Donut" from its name to inform customers that they no longer make donuts. I have another remark about what they must be dunkin' their fried pieces of dough into, but I do have some degree of self-control. If it's any consolation, the exterior of this location is über cute, tarp and vinyl and all.
