"Dunlays on the Square, a prominent restaurant space along Logan Square Park, has closed after 13 years. The restaurant was a neighborhood establishment that helped anchor Logan Square before it became a trendy dining and drinking neighborhood in Chicago. It was located at 3137 W. Logan Boulevard, just off Logan Square Park." - Ashok Selvam

LOVE this brunch spot! The Nana's monkey bread is to die for! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. They have awesome Bloody Marys with a great garnish. They have this creamy hashbrown side dish that we couldn't stop talking about, everyone at the table loved them. Friends loved their omelets. I can not stress it enough, GET THE MONKEY BREAD. It will change your life.

I grew up on Chincoteague Island VA but this is the best Fish I have had since I have moved here over a decade a go. There fries were awesome as well!

It's a small cozy place. The staff was friendly, but after a few mistakes on their part their attitude wasn't the greatest. My party ordered 3 rib diners and 10 minutes later the manager came by and said they only have 2 left so someone had to change their order. Soon after she changed her order they brought only hers out and the rest of the party's food was not ready yet. The beers on draft are delicious and very fresh. I had a burger with ham and bacon. It was supposed to be medium-well but was well done instead. Besides that the burger was delicious. I would rate this place a 3.8/5

Dunlays has an awesome ambiance. Great for families, a date, or if you just want to grab a quick bite on your own. Portions are nicely sized, and the service is great. It's also one of the few spots left in Logan Square that don't get incredibly swamped with people. Would definitely recommend the Amish chicken and ribs. Bacon potato cakes are insanely flavorful and delicious.

This is a nice, casual neighborhood spot with a good patio during the summer months. The food is good, if uninspired. Brunch has vegetarian options, although not with many vegetables. The veggie burger for lunch and dinner is a good. Beer selection is decent, with a selection of the standards and some craft brews. Service was friendly and prompt.

Really disappointed with my visit last Friday. I paid $21 for their short rib dish and the meat and sides arrived cold. I took a few bites before I embarrassingly told the waitress it was cold (I hate complaining but it was $21.) She said they would make me a new one but they really just reheated and re-plated the same food. You could see my fork marks in the meat and vegetable. I have been a line cook and understand cost control but for $21 (the most pricey dish on their menu) it would have been nice to at least get a discount for twice reheated food. The taste was okay but nothing amazing, the blue cheese mashed potatoes were a little salty but bearable. The other dishes at my table were just warm, not hot, like they had been under the heat lamp for awhile and my friends said their food was just okay. I'm pretty sure the waitress forgot about us for awhile because the kitchen delivered our food. The staff was nice enough but I won't be back.

I absolutely love the service here. They really went above and beyond. Brunch was fantastic and the cost was damn good. We had the Fried Chicken Benedict, which was good, but it needed a little bit more flavor. They were generous with the Mimosas. Love this place.

Decent place to meet for a game, a beer, or a bite. Channel selection is not outstanding for sports but they'll try and put on what you ask for. Nice beer selection and friendly bar staff. Food is good but not great and they have some good specials throughout the week. Half off turkey burgers on Monday!
