Google
People of Fort Worth/ TCU area, imma need yall to start acting right and hit up the BEST burger joint on this planet. This place is better than Whataburger, Jakes, In-n-Out, any possible place you can think of, this place is better. The buns 100/10, and the staff 1000/10. I’ve never had a burger anywhere as good as Dutch’s and I drive 1hr 1/2 to come eat here. Please don’t let this place close down because it definitely deserves to be busier than it is. If you don’t know about it..this is your sign to go!!

Google
A bit pricy, but the burgers were gourmet and the size was filling! The content was rich and fresh and staff was nice. The buns would have tasted better if it was toasted, but I'm sure that they'd do it if you requested it. The draft beer would be better if it had more carbonation. Generally it's a great place to hangout with friends.

Google
Bland food. Asked about the chicken tender and were told they were really good so I ordered them. Tasted just like the convention center tenders with too much breading and no chicken. What a disappointment. The fries were super greasy and dark brown. Please do better. We came from out of town and both wished we had gone somewhere else. The nachos were bland and tasteless. No salt on the table. Will not be back.

Google
Burgers hit the spot after the TCU game! The burgers were juicy, full of flavor, large and the toppings and buns were delicious! Fries were great too. We also had 2 chocolate chip cookies and the family loved them! This could easily become a regular stop after games!

Google
Dutch’s makes the most delicious burger in Fort Worth. This isn’t up for debate or critique. Over the past 5 years, I've scoured the city for the best burger, and guess what? It was right there waiting patiently for me right here at the corner of Berry and University. TCU students have no idea they're sitting on a goldmine of flavor. The buns are sweet and made in-house, like a the real bread of heaven. You can order your meat any way you want it—medium rare is my go-to. Every bite provides a spiritual revelation. Your taste buds will never be the same. Do yourself a fLavor and order the onion rings, sweet potato fries, and a milkshake. I swear, it feels like Jesus is back there in the kitchen, and I'm not talking about the guy married to Lupita. Dip your fries in the blue cheese dressing, and you'll transcend to a new plane of bliss.

Google
A bit pricey but you get what your pay for . Smash burger was awesome, the tater tots are nice and crispy 🤤🤤

Google
Stick with the burgers. That being said the buns are dense and sweet, but the beef and toppings are done very well and flavorful. The crispy chicken salad was unappealing when presented. The chicken was dry and over cooked, the plate was messy with greasy finger prints on it and other drips, hard boiled eggs cut side down, and the candied pecans were dredged in powdered sugar. Appetizers were good. The nailed the chedder peppers and jalapeno and onion straws they had a good heat and flavor. If you are coming for beer and appetizers you wont be disappointed.

Google
I hadnt been here in years but my Mom came into town from OKC on the train so I was in the mood for a good burger close by and remembered this place. I have to say it did not disappoint. It was as good as I remembered. The prices are good and the customer service was even better!

Yelp
I love Dutch's! Everything I've tried on the menu has been freshly cooked and super delicious. My personal favorites are the Cobb Salad and the Value Chicken Sandwich with tots. They make great lunchtime options. You order at the counter and I have never had a poor interaction with their employees. They are incredibly hospitable and welcoming. The food is ready quickly, but always freshly prepared. It has a bit of a sports bar feel to it, so it can get loud and crowded, but it is always very clean. Dutch's is becoming my go-to lunch spot when I'm at work.

Yelp
This is a good old fashioned burger served on a delicious bun. Despite being close to campus, there are a variety of people who frequent this restaurant. I appreciate that there is parking behind the building and that the service is always great. Having TVs is also a plus if you're looking for a place to watch a game. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. Also, get a cookie! You won't regret it.

Yelp
This place impressed me on my first visit, and I definitely plan to return. Parking was a bit tricky; the lot in the back was full, but I managed to find a spot out front. The interior has a unique and welcoming vibe, with plenty of seating options, including high-top and low tables. To the left, there's a bar area and plenty of TVs, perfect for catching sports--I'll definitely come back to soak in that atmosphere while enjoying more great food. The customer service was good as well no complaints very friendly and welcoming. I tried the nachos, which were delicious, and the burgers were a standout. I had the bacon Swiss mushroom burger with added avocado. My only critique is that the buns were a bit on the sweet side, but overall, it was still a tasty meal. I'm looking forward to exploring more of the menu on my next visit. It was well worth the drive!
google avatar

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Dutch burgers are fire! Ordered the bacon swiss mushroom burger with sweet potato fries. I'm not one to pay $18+ for a burger and fries. Plus, there's no drink included unless you get the small meal deal. I'm sure you can upgrade a meal, but I didn't ask. The burger reminded me of the burger joint that was across from runaway mountain at Six Flags Over Texas. I wish I ordered another burger and passed on the trio platter. The onion rings were hard. The fried mushrooms made me nauseated for some reason. The fried pickles were ok. They have a tray full of chocolate chip cookies next to the checkout counter. The cookie was delicious! Customer service was professional and there's a college football vibe. Next visit I'll try their ice cream, melt, and salad.

Debra S.

Yelp
Food, service and prices are excellent. Fun college ambiance!. Lots of special deals!

Yelp
We were visiting TCU and decided to stop by for dinner. Excellent service and food! We were very pleased and hope to go again soon.

Yelp
Get a Burger and have your car towed for $320 from Lone Star Towing ? Are these companies working together to steal money from TCU students ----sure seems like it when they tow you after 20 minutes. The owner of Dutch's should speak up or address the issue with the owner of the parking lot that is going to ruin the burger business as that is one very expensive hamburger that NO ONE will return for.....dont be a predator of the students that make your business exist...
google avatar

Gracie S.

Yelp
Best burger in Fort Worth!!! I want to wade in the deep waters of the herb mayo. No seriously, I'd bathe in that stuff.

Edward T.

Yelp
Be careful--they will tow your car quickly. It seems they're working closely with a towing company called Lone Star Towing. My car was taken within 15 minutes of being parked, and it looked like the tow trucks were already waiting nearby to tow cars one after another. If your car gets towed, expect to pay $300+ to get it out. The burgers are already overpriced, and now they're driving customers away by towing their cars. Very disappointed.

Kevin J.

Yelp
Burger was outstanding. Home-cut French fries are the bomb. Going back ASAP. Loved it.

Billy T.

Yelp
Burger was decent but the entire place felt dirty. The men's bathroom was horrendous. And there were TWO RATS crawling all over the floor in the main restaurant. I told management and they didn't seem to care much. This place needs to be inspected by FTW health code
google avatar

Ben G.

Yelp
It's funny I get message requesting a review when it was perhaps the poorest burger I've ever had there. Bun: stale and meat was way overcooked. I wonder if I ordered a blackened burger. It wasn't black just very well done. The iced tea was great. Take it and run. Maybe next time
google avatar

John L.

Yelp
Amazing burgers. Big, juicy burger patty seasoned and cooked to perfection. They use a bun that's very similar to Hawaiian rolls, so it adds a unique sweetness to the sandwich. There is a nice variety of burgers to choose from. Over the years I think I've tried each of them at least once, and I haven't had a bad meal here. The fries are also done well with a slightly crispy exterior and a soft, starchy center. Tuesdays are half price burgers. It's a killer deal and feels unreal when you look at your meal and you look at what you paid for it. They also have a bar, salads, and a few dessert options. The interior is decorated well with TCU theme because it's right across the street from TCU. Floors do seem like they are always sticky, flies are sometimes inevitable, and parking is the worst, but these things are not egregious enough for me to knock down a star.

Yelp
We went after the TCU football game at the recommendation of my husband's coworker. You order at the counter in the back of the restaurant. There's also a bar in the middle and a burrito place on the other side (my daughter opted for a burrito). We sat & waited for our order. One your name is called, you pick it up from where you ordered. Everything was good. No complaints.. everyone at all their food... even the two kiddos. I'd definitely eat here again when in the area.
google avatar

Dewey W.

Yelp
The hamburger are great....definitely a good split they are so big....it's all counter service so give yourself a tip
google avatar

Joy D.

Yelp
We were there on a TCU football game day so they were being hammered with people. The wait to order was about 25 minutes. It took about 45 minutes to get our food. The hamburgers were good. They were very juicy and they were large. The buns were awesome. I think they were fresh made but don't know that for sure. We had the onion rings. They were really good too. Fresh made and huge. They didn't have nearly enough tables to accommodate the crowd so people were hovering over tables waiting to get one. We ended up eating outside in the patio which would have been fine but it was 90 outside so it was pretty hot. Their selection of beer was good and we also got a strawberry daiquiri which hit the spot with it being so hot outside. They only had 3 bartenders so the wait for our drinks was long too. They would have gotten 5 stars had they had faster service.
google avatar

Jessie B.

Yelp
Large space. Easy to order at the bar! Burgers are delicious!! The only downfall is that it was realllllly hot. But we are in Texas so... I'll let it go. I also love how it's attached to the burrito place. Very casual and very cute. Their menu looked great! Not a bad place for a burger!

Adrian G.

Yelp
Best burger I had wouldn't go anywhere else good food and a good place to get a beer to watch the game
google avatar

Ellie F.

Yelp
We wanted to try something different so we decided to stop in here. Lots of different choices my son got The Dutch with cheese & no veggies & some fries, hubby got some chicken chili thing & really enjoyed it too. But I was not too impressed. I got the Old School Sliders & Onion Rings, I really wasn't a fan of either. So it looks like my boys have found themselves another restaurant to go to without mom.
google avatar

Yelp
A must visit if you are in the DFW area. Right in the heart of TCU campus, this TCU sports bar serves up the best. Everything on their menu is exceptional, my go to is the lineman. The burger is juicy and cooked to perfection, but the bun steals the show! House made, texture is phenomenal and it has the perfect bit of sweet to take it to the next level. My #1 Burger, Anywhere! Five Star family run joint! Same faces behind the counter year in and year out and they aim to please. Their shakes are also a must for dessert!
google avatar

Yelp
I forgot to take a picture of my food, and now it's all gone lol.. anywho honestly, what I had I wasn't extremely impressed. I had the Texana burger which was good but the meat wasn't as flavorful as I thought it would be for the cost .. everything is a la carte so expect to pay at least $17. The fries needed more salt and there are no shakers on the table to add some. I'd come here again but I'd get something else..

Yelp
I'm from out of town, so this review is just for one experience. My uncle took my family here for burgers last week. COOL VIBE - felt like I was in college again :) CLEAN PLACE - I had low expectations knowing a bunch of students frequent here (lol). But it was kept very clean. Especially the bathrooms! Nice surprise (sorry, but it WAS a surprise). YUMMY FOOD - 5 people in my party had various burgers, I had a Caesar salad. Salad was good, I'd get it again. Everyone else said it was the best burger they've had. Impressive. CONSCIENTIOUS EMPLOYEES - Cool dudes/dudettes. Although really young, everyone took their jobs seriously and were super nice. I'd go again when in town next. There you have it. :)

Yelp
My aunt brought me here for the first time months ago. I liked it well enough to frequent the establishment on occasion. The food is always delicious and moderately priced considering everything is a la carte. I was in the neighborhood and needed to stop for lunch. Please eat at Dutch's whenever you get the opportunity. You won't regret eating here. For you football fanatics, including TCU fans, the atmosphere and sports memorabilia won't disappoint.

Alan B.

Yelp
I had their bbq hickory burger and the taste was amazing. The bacon really stands out and the meat patty was juicy and flavorful. The service was quick and it is a great place to go for a burger. Just an added bonus try the chocolate chip cookies very good.
google avatar

Amy D.

Yelp
I like sweet buns and I can not lie. You other fort worthians can't deny When Dutch's gets an addition with a full bar And a bunch of TVs in your face, You get sprung! That about sums up the good things. Their fries are warm and soggy, so you lost me there. Then everytime I get a burger or salad, I get sick afterwards. I really do like the sweet buns on the burger and they have those available for purchase. The new locker room is great for watching games, but I will avoid the food for now.
google avatar

Yelp
We spent the weekend at TCU and ordered a terrific lunch from Dutch's Hamburgers! Delicious! I had the grilled chicken sandwich with fries and it was really good! Generous portions. Fresh tasty bun and perfectly cooked tender, juicy chicken. Yummy fries and a tasty chocolate shake to top it off. My son had a kids grilled cheese sandwich with sweet potato fries and said it was the best that he has ever had. The counter person was very friendly and the food was ready to pick up when they said that it would be. Great location and plenty of room if you are eating there. I would highly recommend Dutch's Hamburgers to anyone wanting a great meal. Enjoy!
google avatar

Alice C.

Yelp
The burgers are huge. So delicious. The buns- yes the buns that everyone is talking about. Great flavors, pricing, and portions.
google avatar

Robert V.

Yelp
Great local hangout, decent craft beer selection, solid burgers and fries. My only complaint would be that they're a bit slow, but I suppose thats the cost of fresh food.
google avatar

Scott G.

Yelp
Local TCU burger (and more) joint. Great fresh, cooked-to-order food. I've always got a burger or a sandwich (Vaquero and Black and Blue are favs) and fries, and it's always been awesome. Large portions. Fresh ingredients. Made in front of your eyes. This time I had the Cobb Salad. Needed something healthy on a Sunday early afternoon. Lol. It was phenomenal. Large portion; no skimping on the non-lettuce items; probably a whole freshly cooked, well-seasoned, and juicy chicken breast. Dutch's just does not disappoint!!! It's a 5-star for what it is and what it's supposed to be. It's not elevated fine dining, if that's what you're looking for. But it is best-in-class for what it represents.
google avatar

Frank S.

Yelp
Stopped here after a visit to the TCU campus today. Looks like a great campus hangout, bet this place gets packed. Hamburgers are solid. No skimping here, this is a large burger and the toppings were super fresh. 5 stars if you didn't use frozen patties. Fries are very good, they are the thicker cut from the potato kind. Very tasty and an ample serving. Looking forward to many more visits over the next 4 years.
google avatar

Kerry N.

Yelp
I just devoured some yummy food at Dutch's Hamburgers! COVID can't stop us! We picked up our togo order from the bar and ate in our car. Wow, the Texana burger is where it's at! Think soft potato bun, crunchy pickles, delicious beef with creamy guacamole and ranch. We had some ginormous fried cheese and freshly fried okra. What a win for a quick lunch in the TCU hood. We will be back!
google avatar

Stan B.

Yelp
Dutch's Hamburgers has the best house-made mozzarella sticks I've ever eaten! The three count is plentiful, but go ahead and get the six count, you will be glad you did! Dutch's Mozzarella Sticks gets three stars Happy Eating Y'all!
google avatar

Dave F.

Yelp
anytime i'm in Ft. Worth i really force all my friends to go to Dutch's. it's a bit of a drive from downtown Dallas but worth the trip. great burgers. great chocolate chip cookies but the thing that stands out are their buns (hehe-nice buns) they are so very tasty. imaging a dinner roll the size of a hamburger. keeps me coming back!!!
google avatar

Alex C.

Yelp
We went on a nice quiet day. Seating was plentiful and line wasn't very long. Even so, parking was very scarce but it makes sense since it's on the TCU campus, and most people will be walking here. I got the habanero burger and I added fries and a drink. First off the fries were great. Natural cut, nicely salted, these are my favorite kind of fries. The burger was interesting. The bun was very bready which I think could make some people like it and some people not like it. My favorite part though was that the habanero sauce was not slacking. It was real habanero level spicy and I loved it. That's some authentic stuff and they don't even try to warn you about it. I like that it's unapologetically true. It was a bit pricy and overall the food wasn't as good as Five Guys although it was probably almost the same price. They have some good fountain drink options. For a convenient burger place on a college campus that's not a fast food chain, I think it does a great job.
google avatar

Bill K.

Yelp
Best burger in Fort Worth hands down. However they could work in the cleanliness in there. The service is friendly and I never have to wait too long. A true local institution.

Brendan P.

Yelp
Got the Vaquero Burger! Hit the spot! The patty, bbq sauce, and bacon was delicious. Make sure you get one!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Hands down the best burger & shake spot in the DFW area! The burger was absolutely delicious and great size. The shake was very delicious!

Yelp
Tuesdays are supposed to be half price for the Dutch Burger, but not so fast, unsuspecting consumers! I had called in previously and was allowed to get the half priced deal on a Tuesday night. So, on March 14, I tried calling, twice, several minutes apart, but no one answered the phone. It went into voicemail but the mail box was full! What a surprise! I thought that perhaps it was spring break and they were closed. I went ahead and ordered online. The system took my order but at full price ($50+). I thought that if they were open, they would charge back half of the price. Well, no such luck. The manager apparently was not there. The employee behind the cash register said that if you dine in or call in you get the Dutch Burger for half price. I told him that I called, twice, but no one answered. He said they had been busy. When I called, it was not quite 7:30 pm and when I got to Dutch's, it was nowhere being full of customers. He then said that if you order online, the discount doesn't apply. I exclaimed that I had been ripped off $25. He said that he would tell his manager about and maybe they could put something on the website. He added that I could get half off next time. What a jerk! Totally clueless and void of common sense. There are better burger places with MUCH better service. Try Tommy's, Rodeo Goat, Charley's, Job's Grill, or Hopdoddy. Avoid this consumer rip off!

Christian M.

Yelp
11/28/23 me and my friend were having lunch at Dutches on university Dr today and we noticed there was a rat running across the floor and another customer seen the rat too and threw away their food and left .

Kiera C.

Yelp
I've ordered here twice for pickup, the first time I was confused on where ti pick up my order and there wasn't anyone to help for awhile, but it happens. The food has been really good both times so I would definitely recommend checking them out.
google avatar

Amy S.

Yelp
Friendly service. Yummy food . Gigantic fresh baked cookies. No wait on Friday night.

Yelp
Dropped in to here a buddy play live music on the patio. Hadn't been here in 3 years. Update from last review. This was a much better! Great chips and queso! Hot crispy tater tots! Great burger! Ok chicken strips. And a great BLT! Great beer selection! Thanks for supporting Live music and local!
google avatar

Connor S.

Yelp
i love dutchs. i'm there at least 1-2x a week for a few cold beers and a bite to eat. the tots are amazing, the burgers are consistently one of the best in town, and the service is always great. this is a true local gem - the new chicken sandwich is fantastic! huge portions for a good price!
google avatar

Cheryl O.

Yelp
I love Dutch's burgers. I've had the bacon blue cheese one & the habanero burger. The burgers are cooked perfectly and the buns are made of crack (not really but they're darn addictive!). The chilly cheese fries are delicious & easily shareable. Watch the game at the bar & enjoy a tasty beverage. If you want a great burger & an enjoyable atmosphere, Dutch's is for you.
google avatar

Dave S.

Yelp
This place is top 3 best burgers I've ever if not the best. The homemade bun takes it to the next level. The handcut fries and onion rings topped off with a chocolate shake took the experience to new heights. Ill definitely go back again. Next door is Dutch's burritos which has me intrigued.
google avatar

Joshua H.

Yelp
Home cook burgers. Beers cold and shards of salt on fries. Just the buns . They are not good. Maybe a bad night anywho. Will be back no
google avatar

Leann G.

Yelp
We absolutely loved the burgers and fries here but I also really enjoyed the Cobb salad - the chicken on the salad was tender and not dry at all!
