"There’s a good chance you’ve heard of the Pegu Club, and you’ve probably walked by it many times without realizing it. It’s on the second floor of a two-story building on Houston, and it’s the sort of place where you could send your boss if they wanted to get a relatively quiet drink with a client downtown. Absolutely wonderful experience. My friends and I were heading back from Breckenridge and saw this bar on the side of the road and stopped it for a quick beer. We ended up staying for almost five hours playing games, eating pizza, and having a wonderful time. Bryce made some amazing drinks and even made me a personalized cocktail. It was one the best experiences I’ve ever had. 10/10

This is such a great spot! Unique, quality selections and mixed drinks, and their draft beers were great. The bartender was great- very knowledgeable and she made great drinks! Will definitely stop by again when we’re next in town.

What an incredible place to gather with friends! Delicious cocktails and several NA options. Pizza and cheesecake augmented the drinks perfectly. The atmosphere lends for great conversation and local community vibes. Awesome decor, lighting, and friendly staff!!

Great, new(er) place in Fairplay. Super cozy and inviting - owners have done a wonderful job with the place and the staff is top-notch. Nicely-curated selection of beers, liquors, and the cocktails are great (including mocktails / NA options). Don't sleep on the pizza - it's a great accompaniment to the beverages and you can also get them frozen/to-go. Can't wait to visit during warmer weather, to take advantage of the awesome outdoor/patio area. They also have some perfect tables to setup shop for remote work (and encourage it). Highly recommend to both locals and visitors to the area!
