We decided to stop here on a whim. Excellent decision!! Fong was our hostess/waitress and she was awesome! Great sense of humor, very warm and welcoming. Food came quickly and was top notch. Some of the best Chinese/Vietnamese we have had in Sioux Falls. I would go back for the spicy and sour soup alone, but everything was delicious. Was my boyfriend's first time trying spring rolls, and he is now a fan! Thank you so much, we will be back!!

Google
PHO and spring rolls were good! Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. I was traveling and was able to work for a few hours while enjoying lunch.

The staff at the nearby Best Western recommended my daughter and I try this restaurant. I am so happy we did!! The food was absolutely fantastic, especially the peanut sauce for the spring rolls. The combination of various Asian cuisines made for a unique experience, and the owners are incredible people. If I was local, this would be my go to restaurant, it has everything I look for in an excellent experience.

If you are looking for a family friendly restaurant, and you were craving Chinese never, and I repeat, never go here. Our experience started walking into the restaurant. No other customers were there. We grabbed our very dirty menus that were sitting at the front table with a sign. We were the only ones. There was waitress in the corner yelling how tired she was. After five minutes or so she decided to come to the table to ask us our order. After ordering she then served my daughters and I waters. The straw looked like somebody took black grease in the inside and splattered orange pop on the lid. I at that point was ready to leave, but wanted to stay and give them the benefit of the doubt after serving us our appetizers I asked her if she had a busy day because she had told us how tired she was. She then proceeded to yell at me in a very firm tone “ I’m so tired don’t ask me all these questions. You come eat and sit and be by yourself don’t talk to the server, Oh yeah, you see all these people in this restaurant a table over there for four over there and over here I mean why you asked me if I am so busy today. How dare you don’t talk to me anymore” at this point, I could not believe that she was speaking to me this way. I told her you know what go ahead and keep your order. Will eat these appetizers and pay for them and go so you can rest. She then walked away in a kind, voice yelling ever so loudly. “I know your meal about done I got to get your meal you pay for your meal” I really just wanted to walk out but I just sat there. After receiving our meals, she proceeded to carry-on. She then explained to my three-year-old who said oh this chicken is hot she “oh honey yes, this is a hot meal not like the peanut butter sandwich your mom make you every day for lunch this hot.” I then responded with excuse me, but I am a stay at home mother and I feed my children, home-cooked hot meals daily. How dare you say that to my kids? I cannot believe first off how rude she was, and then second off to offend me in front of my children. The food was terrible. It was hot, had no flavor, and after my experience with her and the dirty menus and cup and the way she treated me I was uncomfortable, even eating a meal. After bringing our ticket, I told her that she made me so uncomfortable that I would never be back, and I cannot believe she would speak to her customers that way. She said, “ I just speak it like it is “ well, so do I MAM and I will speak to every person who asked me where to go for Chinese not to go to your restaurant. While I paid for the meal which cost us $46 with no tip. It was the worst $46 waste of money that I ever spent in my life. I will tell everybody about how awful my experience was here.

Google
Not sure how this place has such great reviews…I understand times are tough but everything pictured was 75$. Every entree that had meat in it had the bare minimum of meat and was mostly vegetables. It also lacked flavor and it seemed like the only sauce used for seasoning was soy sauce. I can get behind spending 75$ on take out but it better be worth it and it better taste better than my normal 40$ Panda Express. The lady was rude on the phone but apparently that’s just her based on other people’s reviews.

Google
Had a wonderful evening dinning at Dynasty Chinese and Vietnamese Cuisine. The food was very delicious, and the vegetables were very vibrant and fresh. All of the sauces were tasty. Had wonderful conversations with the owner. She was a delight to talk with. Will definitely come back.

Dynasty Chinese and Vietnamese Cuisine is hands down one of the best spots in Sioux Falls for authentic Asian food. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed with warm smiles and some of the nicest, friendliest staff you’ll ever meet. They’re not only attentive but genuinely funny — they make the experience feel personal and enjoyable every time. The menu offers a perfect blend of Chinese and Vietnamese favorites, all made fresh to order. The pho is rich, flavorful, and incredibly comforting — easily some of the best in town. I also highly recommend the egg rolls and the vermicelli noodle bowls; they’re fresh, light, and packed with flavor. On the Chinese side, the sesame chicken and lo mein are go-to comfort dishes that never disappoint. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the food always arrives hot and delicious. Whether you're dining in or ordering takeout, Dynasty consistently delivers a fantastic experience. With great food and even better people, it’s a place you’ll want to come back to again and again.

Yelp
Good is amazing!!! Owner is hilarious and so kind. The restaurant is so clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for bigger parties. People need to stop sleeping on this place.

Cynthia P.

Yelp
Food and service were great. Very quiet since we were the only ones in the dining room for an early dinner. There were a lot of people picking up orders. Appears that the restaurant has a good following of people.

Macy M.

Yelp
The food was outstanding & the service was excellent! I look forward to returning soon!

Carla Lavonne B.

Yelp
Very authentic and beautiful restaurant. Food was amazing and fresh. Almond chicken was so tasty and the Vietnamese egg rolls with peanuts sauce just hit the spot. My husband had the pot stickers which he said was the best he'd ever had. Also he had the sweet and sour pork which was delicious and delectable. We highly recommend this charming restaurant. Ms. Fong, serves up many laughs with her welcoming personality. Tell her Almond Chicken Lady sent you!

Yelp
Best Chinese / Vietnamese restaurant in SF. Amazing food, great service, clean and fast if your in a hurry. The spring rolls are the best I've ever had anywhere! Mom and Pop to boot, and it really shows. Check them out!

Yelp
I called to order over the phone ahead of time. I was told only 15 minutes!! I ordered the fresh springs rolls and the V9. Mi Nuoc. The menu is really extensive with Vietnamese food and then Chinese food. I liked that they separate the menu so you know which you are ordering. I got there and it's in a strip mall so plenty of parking. The lady who ran up to the counter was hilarious and full of energy. She was super friendly. My food was ready and I was in and out quickly. I had the spring rolls which came with a peanut/hoisin sauce. Very good and fresh. The noodle soup was huge. Lots of broth and veggies - not a ton of shrimp tho and I wish there was more noodles. For an Asian restaurant in South Dakota - I would say it was a pleasant surprise! A great place to get your fix! And the lady I interacted with was funny and had thanked me for my business and asked me to come back again!

Yelp
Food is very bad, ordered 1,a shrimp and chicken fired rice with only 2 shrimps in it and some strange meats with no flavor. 2,chicken mushu with wraps, wraps r dried out, so all the ingredients falling out of it when we r biting it. 3, mixed vegetables, they r not flavored with clear gravy, not fresh vegetables. 4,Zhechaun Duck, they r overly deep fried with a sweet sour gravy on it. 5, hot and sour soup, r not hot at all with wired soured flavor

Nancy D.

Yelp
Food was awful. Crab Rangoon had little stuffing in it and was over cooked. General Tso's chicken had very little chicken in it and loads of onions and peppers. I will never ever go back. Ended it by throwing it in the trash. So much for the $50.00 I spent.

Yelp
I'm so happy we found this place! The Vietnamese egg rolls are outstanding and a MUST TRY!!! Definitely the best in town, hands down! (And I've tried a lot!) The sweet and sour chicken (pictured) but half eaten, was outstanding! Like everything else we've tried here....everything came out piping hot, delicious, and some of the best Chinese food in town! The egg foo young is also a must try if you're a fan of that as well! The owner is SUPER friendly, kind, funny, and outgoing! Just what a small business like this needs! It's so nice that businesses like this still exist! We will definitely be coming back & back!!!

Yelp
Good food. Good service. Best pho in Sioux Falls if not made at home. I Always have fun & interesting conversations with the owner.

Alicia M.

Yelp
Take out order.... So bla with no flavor. The sauce took over half of the container and had mostly all veggies and very little meat. Only thing good was the egg rolls. I was super disappointed and the cost of it was terrible expensive

Rubi P.

Yelp
Delicious food. Great atmosphere and dining experience. Highly recommend. We had chicken lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, and cashew chicken. It was all amazing!

James K.

Yelp
Great food and friendly owner! I had their chicken egg foo young and strong coffee with condensed milk. I will be back for more, thank you

Yelp
Chinese food is my favorite chaw main special chicken and orange chicken aea food delicious i went with my family last week i liked all food thank

Mary L.

Yelp
Not impressed, the Vietnamese egg roll was good, as was the soup, but neither my mother nor I liked the entrees. I have eaten Mongolian beef many places and this was the worst I had. The waitress was nice.
google avatar

Bekah C.

Yelp
Worst service hands down. Ordered food for Mother's Day, while on the phone with them I asked for my total and she said she had too many customers to answer that. My daughters picked the food up and when they came home the egg drop soups lid was not on and there was soup all over everything. We called to let them know and they told us it was our fault and hung up on us. We returned the food to them to show them and she was incredibly rude and couldn't find our receipt. There was one table of people eating when we got there and the phone did not ring the entire time we were there so it was not busy. I will not be back and would not recommend going.

Yelp
Disappointed that portion sizes were extremely small. 2 entrees = $30. Could understand increased pricing due to inflation, but would expect larger portion sizes at least. Usually when ordering Chinese takeout for 2, there's always enough for leftovers...not this time, sadly. Unfortunately beef & broccoli was not satisfying, very bland and not very many pieces of beef. General tsao was good, but again, portions were small. Thought I would get white rice on the side but got some odd brown type rice instead (not fried rice)? Heard good things from locals but sadly disappointed in portion sizes, taste, and price. Also wish prices were listed on their online menu, but have a feeling it would deter guest.

Glenn B.

Yelp
Typical Chinese-American and Vietnamese-American ala-cart menu. Owner personally supervises and sometimes serves your table during slow periods. Typical Chinese-American decor.

Jorge V.

Yelp
The food is good. The Pho is not great Vietnamese. The service is awful. The gal is extremely rude to everyone. And in your face. No thank you. Order to go.

Yelp
LOVE Dynasty! Orange chicken is my favorite, flavors are amazing, veggies are crisp and fresh! Lo mein is great too, such a fun experience too, you get to feel like family after a few orders :)

Sarah O.

Yelp
We came for a quick meal from out of town, and we picked the place for the reviews. Best. Decision. Ever. The owner was taking care of us, and she was amazing! So warm and kind. It was exceptional service, in a super clean space, with excellent food. Even our picky 2 year old ate so much! The sesame chicken and the pot stickers were adored, but all the food was great. The service alone is worth it! A+

J F.

Yelp
I ordered take out Shrimp Pad Thai and Vietnamese Egg Rolls. Very disappointed. The flavor of the Pad Thai or should I say lack of flavor. It was dry, very few shrimp, hardly any bean sprouts, and they used pho noodles instead of traditional PT noodles. I basically got dry, bland pho noodles with peanuts for $18.95. The 2, Viet-egg rolls were just so-so in terms of taste but they were tiny. The only thing they had in common with the Pad Thai was the outrageous price of $6.50. I typically don't complain about price even with small portions when food is good to great but this food was horrible for any price let alone the $28 after tax.

Yelp
This has been our favorite spot for asian food for many years. We love the chicken pho soup and sesame chicken especially. The lady who runs it is very nice and welcoming. I would highly recommend! Carryout Sesame Chicken Curry Chicken

Yelp
Another delightful find thanks to Yelp. While we were looking for Chinese Chicken Salad because of the hot weather, our owner/waitress suggested the Vietnamese salad, Bun Their Ga Xao Sa, or Vermacelli Noodle Stir Fried Chicken and Lemon Grass. It was the most delicious combination of flavors. I would order again in a heartbeat. We also shared the Spring Rolls with outstanding peanut sauce. The Shrimp Snow Pea was also very good. The service is excellent and she explained everything. Please try this restaurant and be prepared to be impressed
google avatar

Chelli S.

Yelp
Overpriced and poor food. But the best part is you get insulted the entire time you are there by the waitress who thinks she owns the place. Don't bother unless you like second rate chinese food and pay extra for everything.
google avatar

McKenzie B.

Yelp
This restaurant was absolutely amazing. My father and I were welcomed with amazing service and a very helpful waiter. She was able to recommend the best option of food based on my interests and it turned out to be a great meal. The food was some of the best I've ever had in Sioux Falls. I highly recommend choosing this restaurant if you are looking for a wonderful atmosphere and delicious food!
google avatar

Paul M.

Yelp
We thought the food was excellent And the portions were realistic. The vegetables were flavorful and crisp. The food came very quickly. We really enjoyed our lunch. We enjoyed chatting with the owner.

Cyndi H.

Yelp
I have been going 2 Dynasty 4 several years as this is my fav Chinese Restaurant & I usually take my friends there also. I used 2 b a delivery customer, 2! I really enjoy the owner & remembers my order everytime. She is a compassionate person w/ a good sense of humor! I just took a friend there today & we enjoyed our meal & time spent there. I love the way she makes her egg drop soup & crab ragoon! Love, Love this place! Not perfect but good! Really, Absolutely recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
The crab rangoon was the best part. It's very good! That's where my stars are! But the rest of my meal was noodles with veggies and little seasoning/sauce was not what I am used to for this dish. I hate to give a bad review in that maybe less savory & bold in the seasoning is what people prefer in the northern states. One packet of soy sauce in my take-out bag was not enough to cover the noodles. So confused. I am used to lo mein having an oily savory & salty smoky wok flavor but this was different...not awful just sort of plain.

Jared B.

Yelp
Family wanted some Pho, as they are huge fans, and decided to try a new place closer to home, then drive across town to our normal place. Got 2 orders of Pho. Not only was the broth completely bland, and the noodles nowhere near done, even after cooking in the broth longer, but I received about 5 pieces of meat for 2 orders of it. Also got an order of Orange Chicken. Box was only half full upon opening it, and there was watery sauce, again, with little flavor, that everything was soaking in. Chicken was soggy, along with veggies, and completely bland. Also an order of chicken fried rice. Again, tasteless, and rice was absolutely soggy, and once again, upon opening the box, the box was nearly half empty. Overall, for the price I paid, I could have gone elsewhere and received double the food, and at a much higher quality. This is the first extremely bad experience I've had, making me just throw the food out and go elsewhere for something else instead. Overpriced, bland food, and horrible portions.
google avatar

Sarah K.

Yelp
Stopped in after the lunch rush for takeout and the atmosphere was so welcoming and the owner is a caring delight as people have noted so I decided to eat in... WOW the spring rolls were so fresh and the peanut sauce perfect! Pho was right on, beef steak the fine point along with the flavorful broth... Wishing there was fresh basil with sprouts but the cilantro was nice. I look forward to stopping at this cheerful restaurant again soon with the whole gang.

Yelp
Great food and extremely friendly staff! Very clean. Will definitely be back, excited to try more of the menu!

Yelp
Extremely impressed. In town from Kansas City for business. Found Dynasty through Yelp. Ordered plate of orange chicken, spring rolls and soup. I had spicy soup (aka sweet sour). Slices of mushroom floating upon a delicate delicious soup. Best I have ever had. Spring rolls were a treat the translucent wraps were so fresh! Filled with tender, finely sliced vegetables Excellent. The orange chicken was delicious. The vegetable garnish was crisp and favorable. athe server was charming and an example of how wait staff should be. Decor is perfect. Very clean and kept up. would give better rating if able.

Lisa K.

Yelp
Food was not good . Server was nice and attentive but I didn't care for the food. It was bland and tasteless. Also was over priced

Phil B.

Yelp
Had an EXCELLENT experience here. Ordered carry out once in the past and it was very good, so I came back to dine in. I would like to add that the carryout was fresh, hot, and ready when it was supposed to be UNLIKE many of the other restaurants around town. I was very pleased with my decision to dine in this time around as the food was exceptional and the owner was our waitress and she was very friendly and fast. I far out eat the average person, but their lunch portion still left me feeling satisfied and it was much cheaper than all of the other Vietnamese restaurants that I have been to around town. I've eaten the beef and broccoli, chicken fried rice, hula beef, egg rolls, egg drop soup, and crab Rangoon and they ALL exceeded my expectations. Succulent tender juicy meat. New favorite restaurant. Food quality/taste - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Cost - 5/5 You couldn't ask for a better Vietnamese restaurant.

Yelp
Amazing food and the owner is hilarious establishment is clean and food was done quickly and correctly. 2nd time here and still is amazing

Dave R.

Yelp
I stop in quite often, the owner always has a smile on her face and the food is always delicious. Great place to go eat.

B A.

Yelp
The food here is excellent and the staff is awesome as well. Always fast service!! I've been going here for years and the food is always great. I love the pot stickers!!
google avatar

Carrie H.

Yelp
Apparently they no longer deliver and I got yelled at for even asking. They used to be courteous at least.

James O.

Yelp
Didn't like their version of General Tso's chicken. They added large uncooked vegetables and didn't have any chili peppers. And it wasn't fried chicken at all. Nothing about it was General Tso's except the name. I see no reason to come back.

Erma W.

Yelp
I tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday, and I will definitely be back. I wanted to try the Vietnamese food, and told the waitress/owner that this was new to me. She explained how to eat the spring rolls and the bun that I ordered, and seemed to like that I wanted to try something different. The spring rolls were fresh and had a delicious peanut sauce, and the bun with chicken just hit the spot. Some other reviewers have mentioned the owner/waitress. I think she was a hoot! She definitely has a strong personality, and may not wear well on everyone. But I think she really makes the whole experience worthwhile. She really interacts with customers and she is always in motion! I plan to return and try more of the Chinese dishes as well as the Vietnamese.

Susan O.

Yelp
This is a dining experience... best SE Asian food in the area and the owner/server is hilarious! No kidding... you need to find this small strip mall restaurant and enjoy an unforgettable meal.
google avatar

Matthew M.

Yelp
Just not a good experience, we ordered take out, of three different dishes 2 of the we're only filled half way full, the other half of the boxes where full of filler like lettuce. The 3 dish did fill the whole box. This may not have been a big deal but the food for us was just not good, the sesame chicken didn't have any batter on it, it was like a grilled chicken bits with a very bland sauce, it was unlike any sesame chicken I've ever had. The other two dishes we got looked normal but we're just bland. Overall just disappointed that it wasn't better, specifically since we just moved to this side of town, the Eastside had some great Chinese places.
google avatar

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Their versions of Vietnamese food are terrible!! Fried spring rolls had way too much carrots. The grilled pork chop had a sour marination that was not favorable. The waitress was interactive and nice though.

Wanda S.

Yelp
May be Sioux Falls' best kept dining secret. I travel a lot and this place has better Chinese food than DC's Chinatown. Chicken was incredible. Seasoning was amazing. Great value!
google avatar

Amanda B.

Yelp
I ordered carryout Vietnamese. We're new in town, so I had to check out the Vietnamese food. The Pho and pork and noodle salad was amazing! I will definitely be back! And service was good and fast. The only waitress there was busting her tail.
google avatar

Allen L.

Yelp
Finally some decent egg drop soup in Sioux Falls! Wonton soup is okay Da Chin is good, wings good, kung pow is very tasty. Only complaint is the Crab Rangoon, no crab, chewy
google avatar

Stacy L.

Yelp
Love love love this place! I come to sioux falls often for work and always come here. Great food and service. I always get their pho, but have also tried their shrimp fried rice and egg foo young both which are great as well.
google avatar

Patty D.

Yelp
Service was great, restuarant was clean and nicely decorated. Food was very good, I got the chicken with vermicelli and lemon grass v21. Will definitely return if in the area.
