An outstanding dining experience in Vilnius. The food was exceptional throughout — beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and clearly crafted with great attention to detail. The service deserves special mention: warm, attentive, and thoroughly professional without ever feeling intrusive. From the moment you arrive, you feel genuinely welcomed and well looked after. Altogether, a thoroughly enjoyable evening defined by excellent cuisine and exemplary service. Highly recommended — I would be delighted to return.

We have been last month in this restaurant after calling several times and mailing them as well for the reservation ,believing that it’s a fantastic place as it’s popular and also has a Michelin star as well. Unfortunately we had absolutely the opposite experience , very disappointed , strange flavours ruining the real taste of a meal , bad service ,no cutlery put after changing the dish , very bad explained menu and neither asked about the allergies or intolerances. Only international wine or alcoholic drinks ,nothing local to try . For the price as a Michelin stared restaurant it’s still fine ,but it doesn’t worth ,it’s better to go for a local traditional places where you have a real local food . If you go there better not to try the row trout fish ,that was the worst ,with a strange purée,the duck was fine but as you see you should order minimum double portion if you go hungry there .

Took my wife and mother-in-law for a culinary experience and opted for the tasting menu. It was absolutely phenomenal, a masterful balance of savoury, sweet and acidic flavours, paired with an impressive variety of textures. Each course felt like a journey through the finest local ingredients and our waitress was the perfect guide. Her impeccable descriptions and recommendations on how to enjoy each dish truly elevated the experience. The wine selection was excellent and the mocktail options were equally well crafted. A memorable dining experience that will be difficult to forget. Highly recommended.

The restaurant serves great dishes. I enjoyed everything I tried. The flavor combinations were interesting and pleasantly surprising. However, the service could be more engaged and share more information about the dishes. Overall, I have very nice memories from this visit.

A fantastic Michelin-starred restaurant in the heart of the Old Town. Every detail is thoughtfully considered, with an exceptionally high level of service and genuinely welcoming staff. The food was outstanding, featuring a seasonal menu that truly shines. We especially enjoyed the fermented vegetables, sea bream ceviche, cod fish, gnocchi, potato latke, and the toasted bread with apple jam and cured lard - each dish was beautifully executed and full of flavor. A truly memorable dining experience that we would happily return to and highly recommend.

We had a birthday celebration at Džiaugsmas, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The dinner was fantastic — every dish was perfectly crafted, full of creativity and balance. I especially loved the main course, and the dessert was a perfect combination of sweetness, texture, and taste. The interior is modern and exclusive, creating a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. The service was excellent, and it’s easy to see why Džiaugsmas holds a Michelin star. A must-visit place in Vilnius for anyone who appreciates fine dining and culinary artistry.

Visited in Sep 2025 Dziaugsmas is one of the 4 Michelin star restaurants in Vilnius (as of Sep 2025) and definitely the most popular among the 4. Therefore made this place as a dinner stop during my recent trip to Vilnius. I made a last minute reservation and was very lucky to get a table on the same day I called them. The tasting menu comprised around 10 courses (including the amuse bouche and petit four courses). There is an alcoholic and a non-alcoholic pairing for you to choose from. I chose the non-alcoholic pairing. From a food perspective, the starter courses were excellent. The main courses were also quite decent, with the beef tenderloin dish being my favourite. The halibut course was my least favourite as it felt a bit flavourless to me. The meal ended with a fantastic dessert course and some nice petit fours. The non-alcoholic pairing was quite good, and the drinks went quite well with the different courses. Service was brilliant. The restaurant staff constantly take care of you, and check with you if the meal is going well. Each course was explained very well by the staff which helps you understand and appreciate the food. Overall, Dziaugsmas is a very good fine-dining establishment, and I would recommend a visit to this restaurant if you’re looking to choose a Michelin star place to goto in Vilnius.

We had an amazing experience, lovely evening and really good fiine food. Its an experience that tou have to try while you are in Vilnius. The space is amazing, staff are professional and friendly and the wine is perfect.
