If you like unlimited meat & unlimited sushi this is it! I've been here a few times, & I appreciate the new staff. They came to our tables multiple times to pick up our empty sushi plates, and to see if we needed anything. I didn't have to use the server call button once this trip.
My previous experiences here were not so great, because the servers never came by until it was ready for the check. This trip was more relaxed & i felt well taken care of :)
The way restaurant works is once you're sat at your table will you get a tablet where you can order All you can eat meats and a small train will come with the meat to your table. The sushi is a Revolving Sushi that's right next to your table and you can grab as many as you like to eat.
Back then the servers would rarely come to our table. Maybe once at the beginning of the meal and once at the very end had us a check. This was not that big of a deal for me, because I can eat by myself. However if I ate with other people, our meat plates and sushi plates would start to stack up.
I really appreciated this trip because all the staff checked up on us. It wasn't just one specific server. I think the way they work is everybody is your server, and everyone is able to help you. If you do need help and you are sat further away from the service station, on the tablet there is a call button for a service.
I also appreciate their clean bathrooms! Each stall had its own trash bin and toilet scrubber. It didn't smell at all. Normally, I hate going to the bathrooms at Korean barbecue joints because of the smell.
FOOD:
I love the unlimited selection of meats, I just wish the pork belly 삼겹살 was thicker cut like bacon. Every time I come here I opt for their Pork Jowl instead of the Pork belly because its not as thin. They do give you a bowl of rice you just have to ask for it. Spoons, napkins and chopsticks are at the very end of your table. There's a drawer with all of that in there.
For beef, the best one is always brisket. It cooks the fastest, and taste the best with the E-Gyu Yaki Niku sauce. They also have a few seafood options that is also included in the all you can eat. I usually go for their shrimp, but don't cook it too long or else it'll get rubbery. If you're feeling a little bit more adventurous, they also have other options that is à la carte you can add to your table.
If you're looking for Banchan the korean side dishes at kbbq, they are mixed in with the revolving sushi. They have options like kimchi, sliced danmuji, pickled cucumbers, seaweed salad, corn cheese, cheese stuffed rice cakes(YOU HAVE TO GRILL THESE), and edamame.
Now a couple bones to pick.
First Skip the desserts because every time I've been here, even now they are terrible. They are not fresh and frozen store-bought dessert. I gave them props for having dessert at all, because not a lot of Kbbq joints have that.
They do give you free Yakult at the end of your meal, which is a bonus for me because I love this probiotic yogurt drink. It's really small so for those of you who have never had it I would just take a shot.
The second thing I personally don't have a problem with, but I have seen my friends complain about this. On your receipt, there is an automatic gratuity. They not tell you & you can end up double tipping. It's not a big deal. I just think they should let other people know. It's not a super big percentage either so please do not be mean to your servers, they've been doing this since grand opening.
We should be tipping our servers anyways. :)
