Google
This place a literal hidden gem, can't believe the reviews are so low. My favorite soup dumpling place in NYC. Also has very solid wonton noodle soup. Cash only, very simple service, but man the food is amazing. One of the places I would go to every time in flushing, I greatly miss this place since I moved away from nyc in 2021.

Google
Easily one of the worst lunches I had in my 15 yrs working in flushing, ordered triple delight hk style noodles which should be their bread and butter, heres why: -menu pricing not updated - noodle and dumplings not fresh made -looks tasted like refrozen and then microwaved to -side soup over salted and over flavored like it was from bottom of pot - plenty of much better and cheaper versions a few blocks away (maxi or prince noodle)

Google
People working here are terrible and rude.. i didn't get what i ordered and they claim i didn't order it when i clearly ordered it and trusted myself twice. Never come here!!!!

Google
Only Cash. Nice food. A bit noisy inside

Yelp
Always come here to get food, there's so many different places to choose from so everyone has an option. The food court is in the basement so there really isn't any service and it can be a little chilly. I always get the dumplings at the first store when u go down and have also ordered frozen ones to bring home. This place has never let me down and the workers sometimes make funny jokes. The thai place didn't have the best papaya salad lacking in sauce and spice. The fish soup place was one of my favorites with the sour spicy being full of flavor and went down smoothly. There was also a dry pot place that we thought was hotpot at first but you can get a lot in your bowl for a good price. There was a place that sold takoyaki as well that had a nice crunch but it took a while for it to be done despite not having many orders in front of me.

Yelp
Previous reviewers are right- you really can't go wrong with any of the food stalls at the New World Mall!! Coming here is always an adventure. My favorite places are the Korean/Chinese dumplings made in the back corner of the market, Lanzhou hand pulled noodles, and Tarim Uyghur cuisine. They take credit cards at the dumpling counter, which is a relief if you're only carrying a limited amount of cash. Their pork and chive dumplings are very good, super savory and comforting. Behind the counter, an entire army of old ladies is busy filling and sealing the dumplings- that are made fresh to order!! Over at the hand pulled noodles stand, you can get a wide variety of freshly made noodles stir fried or in broth. We opted for the chicken and pork noodle platters, which were both very simple, yet flavorful. The pork was my favorite. They also have very reasonable prices for such a massive quantity of food, but keep in mind they only take cash. Finally my favorite place in the market is Tarim Uyghur. Their big lamb noodle platter with carrot, potato, peppers, and slippery broad noodles is fantastic. The lamb is juicy and falls apart in your mouth, and the veggies are soft and soaked in meat-juice! It's so important to keep this food culture alive, and we are very privileged to have access to delicious and traditional Uyghur food in Queens.

Yelp
This is hands down IMHO THE BEST FOOD COURTS! So many yummy foods from ALL OVER ASIA and affordable yet delicious with AMAZING VARIETY! LOTS of drinks & dessert options as well. It's always quite busy and hectic but hey that mean turnaround is quick and food is fresh! If it's your first dew times to Flushing I think this is a great cultural food immersion stop. Be warned - bustling & busy so not for the faint of heart only those who are adventurous eaters! Enjoy if you do go. Only problem for me is there's always so many delicious yummy amazing places to have to decide on....

Yelp
the bathrooms need to be updated. basically the food court bathrooms, at least the women's room, is pretty much non functional with out of order toilets and caution tape. It is difficult to wash your hands at the sink. I think when I went maybe 2 sinks and 2 toilets were usable. No soap of course. This is very upsetting, but not as upsetting as someone in my friends list who thinks that immigrants do not deserve legal advice, had reported every one of my reviews and had them taken down. so here I am sneaking in in again because I am willing and ready to sacrifice my account if at least one person is helped by my advice. If the attached photo is blocked, the info is also in my profile picture

Yelp
This was my first time staying in Flushing, Queens, and I had to visit this unique world mall. It was very busy and lively inside. It felt like the whole city was there. There were food vendors downstairs, and the market upstairs! The smell near the seafood is very strong, but it's because of the variety! Anything in the ocean is available for purchase (I even saw jellyfish for sale! I didn't even know it was a delicacy!) The produce sections were wildly impressive! Convenient location, great deals, fun layout!

Yelp
New world mall food court is so overwhelming because it can get so crowded. It can be a crazy experience but they do have good fresh cooked food. There are so many food stalls that offer so many different types of chinese food to select from. I have been here a handful of times. I usually walk around to try and figure out what looked good to eat by looking at the pictures posted in each stall plus look at what other people are eating. Stall #29 had these little buns that looked really good and I asked the woman what they were and she said they were stuffed with pork and to try it. She didn't have to try and convince me because I was hungry and it was quick and easy. You can get 6 for $9.00 or 8 for $11.00. I bought 8 and I have to say they were so delicious. They were like soup dumplings, so juicy with a crunchy bottom. I really enjoyed it so much. I took another order to go.

Chin T.

Yelp
There's plenty of food options in the food court! Located within New World Mall in the United furthest back corner lies the buns. You can just order the buns or make it a combo with the soup. You can get small or large portions depending on how much buns you want to eat. These buns are fried and topped with green scallions and black sesame. Be careful eating these buns because they are hot and juicy. There are seatings within the food court however, it can get packed. Drink is from Gong Cha got double peach. Food: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambience: 3/5

Crystal S.

Yelp
Restaurant #3, flavor fish: Food was alright but the counter person refused to give the receipt. I ordered my food and when I went back, she wasn't there. And the person who I had to deal with, didn't speak English. Then the woman came back. I told her like why can't you give me a receipt? This is so confusing if you're not here how can I get my food? She's like a $13 no big deal.. I was like lady it's my $13. If you're not here how am I gonna get my food? I don't know if she got my point, but she got little huffy and puffy. Just don't understand why they can't give the receipt. Ridiculous.!

Yelp
I've been coming to New World Mall's food court since the mall opened, and have been recommending it to anyone who would listen to me ever since. It was a cool addition to the neighborhood as the old Flushing Mall (and it's great food court) went away, and has been a cool place to try dishes from all over China...and Korea, and Japan, and more... since Flushing became such a hot Queens foodie location. The beauty of New World Mall is the endless variety. If you don't know what to try just look around. See what others are eating, and get the courage up to ask them what it is and which stall they got it from! New Yorkers are the nicest, and we all love to tell people where to go, right? It was nice to see Tiger Sugar locate here after the fire destroyed their building on Main Street, and it's always a go to for me. Once you've got your boba on, get some food. You really can't go wrong with anything here. Among my current favorites are the Lamb Noodle Soup at Xian Noodles (028), and anything from Tarim Uyghur Food (005) but that will like likely change next week. Go to New World Mall and explore for yourself (and remember to go to the J-Mart on the ground floor for a food shopping adventure while you're at it)

Prima Z.

Yelp
Stall 28's lamb burger was 90% onions. Absolutely disgusting. I ate maybe 3 bites of actual lamb pieces. Such a rip off.

Diana H.

Yelp
Hit up the new world mall food court during a Chinatown food crawl with friends. Initially came in to get a break from the heat although it wasn't much cooler in the mall. We were sweating while sitting in the food court below. The food court itself looks to offer many options but unfortunately the 1 star comes from the stall we decided to eat at called Korean and Chinese food (I think that's the name?). We ordered beef, lamb, and rice cakes skewers. The meat had way too much cumin and the rice cakes were bathed in ketchup type sauce. Did not enjoy at all. One bite and I was done

Huai E.

Yelp
So many different options to choose from in terms of food. I got the pan fried buns and it was very juicy and crispy. Highly recommend it. Service was quick and ambiance is laid back and packed with locals alike. If you like an array of food in Flushing. This is where it is at.

Surelyne L.

Yelp
This was honestly mind blowing with the number of stalls and variety of food that's available. It was a bit chaotic since it was lunchtime on a Sunday and seats were in high demand. We ordered food from 3 places. Duck vermicelli noodle soup was excellent with nice pieces of duck, duck gizzard, liver & duck blood in a flavorful broth. You could taste the duck essence in that long simmered broth. The dumplings were delicious with a springy skin and well flavored filling. The shang jian bao (pan friend pork dumplings) were heavenly! They were piping hot juicy little napalms so you needed to be very careful eating them but the flavors were perfect! This is going to be a destination whenever we're in town.

Katie A. O.

Yelp
this is a good spot to start for testing traditional Chinese food. the mall have a lot of interesting stalls and a lot of these stalls specialize in northern cuisine. I love the variety and it's definitely worth a try to visit and also to revisit.

Maria G.

Yelp
Wow! After almost 10 years since my last review, time for an upgrade! Five stars for several reasons: Good CO2/indoor air ventilation (around 700 ppm) despite how crowded it is. Now open at 10 AM in the morning, instead of 10:30 AM. And actually most stores/counters are ready by 10:15 AM ish. Very family friendly. It's incredibly loud in here, since there are so many kids here running around/screaming. No worries if your kids are not "behaving." Maybe half of the vendors are cash only. Others begin to accept credit card and it's always nice to accept credit card (while most have a $10 or $12 minimum). The best "value" is probably the $9 rice lunch special, where you get 4 entrees and a small soup. You can find more "authentic" offerings now like JianBing (new) and soup dumplings. So many bubble tea options now! I remember it used to being just one bubble tea counter! Yay!

Michelle C.

Yelp
This is my favorite place to go when I am craving dumplings, noodles or bubble tea. I have honestly never actually shopped in the mall, I go directly to the food court in the basement. I do forget exactly the name of the food vendors that I purchase from but I can say that all food vendors are constantly selling and have lines of people waiting for food. There is plenty of seating but on the weekends the food court is pretty packed so you have to wait for a table to open up. Tiger sugar is where I love to order my bubble tea to get a little caffeine boost. I usually order the steamed pork and chive dumplings; I love that they are made by hand and always have a generous amount of filling.

Lisa C.

Yelp
I've tried quite a few stalls from here! There are so many choices here and everything I've tried was so good! I get food often here and haven't had any bad experiences! If anything, it can be quite crowded and cramped on weekends! I've tried so many things here but didn't get to take a picture of everything!

Yelp
What I love about Flushing is all the Chinese cuisines which makes it a foodies paradise! All types of Chinese and Korean dining in downtown Flushing. One of the first food courts in town, it is located in the lower level of New World Mall. All the food stalls in the perimeter are occupied and business looks very good. Table seating is in the middle of the floor which you may need to share a table during meal times. You can find hand pulled noodles, soup dumplings, Korean food, Japanese food, bubble tea (there are at least 3!). I had the wonton soup and steamed pork soup dumplings from Yozl. They were both good. The steamed pork soup dumplings was thin skinned (which is what I want) with some pork and a little soup. It was yummy. My husband got the braised beef with rice dish from Mr. Pang for under $10. You can find you delicious food for under $10 here. You can go grocery shopping at Jmart upstairs afterwards!

Cindy N.

Yelp
If you're looking for casual food this spot is one of the popular spots in Flushing. Upon walking in there's a good amount of places to try, however I did find a lot of the restaurants were heavily catered to mostly malatang. I ended up trying out the Chinese-Korean dumplings and noodles stall and got the cold noodles due to the hot weather. Cold Noodles: An interesting fusion between the Korean cold noodle dish with a Chinese spin on it. The broth had a nice refreshing mild spice to it and perfect for a summer day. The noodles were the usual kind. Highly recommend trying it out! Overall, I had a good experience however I do wish there were more variety in the food options.

Sophia N.

Yelp
I love the variety of options you can get in this food court. And every place looks good so it's a tough decision to choose which one to get! I got these pan fried buns and got a combo meal that comes with either a pork or beef soup from PanBao66. Pictured is the pork soup which comes with glass noodles, tofu skin stuffed with pork, and bokchoy. This one did take a credit card. If you find yourself without cash for some of the other places, there is also an ATM in the food court.

Kimmy S.

Yelp
It's a difficult location to find but once you've found it, it's all yours. The price is really reasonable and only authentic Chinese food exists in this mall. Everybody needs to go and try if you have the chance.

Lindsey C.

Yelp
Great place to try different cuisines for a reasonable cost! The pickled chili fish was soooo delicious and I've never seen it sold near me, but here, 3 places had the dish! My boyfriend loved the Xi'An cuisine as well. The ambiance is like a mall food court, very low key and you clean your own table by returning the tray and throwing your trash. Service is quick and simple since you order at the place you'd like, get a number, then pick up before sitting down. Overall, exceeded my expectations since I've watched videos of others going here while in Flushing. Did not disappoint!

Tina W.

Yelp
Never a disappointment here! The tang Hulu stand is on the first floor next to escalators. So fresh, so good! My kids love them! Came here today on Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy. We found seating immediately. This place has plenty of options from Taiwan, to Korean, to Uighur to Chinese food and everything in between!

Rashan H.

Yelp
It's a food court with some real food spots. Went to the hand pulled noodles - beef and duck. Both were good but the duck was really special. This spot in the food court made their own garlicky, red hot oil condiment that was supers with pickled something or other green veggie. It was like being back in Kunming in the Yunan province. The homeless bunking in the public bathrooms puts a damper on this space but I'm sure it's a warm haven for those out in the cold. Small price to pay for the good eats.

Ling C.

Yelp
I went to New World Mall Food Court before getting on the subway to head back to Brooklyn. It was 2pm and I was starving. To be honest, I don't understand the hype about this place. I had to walk in full circle twice before I decided on Yozi. It was purely based on the fact, I saw a long line. I figured they must be good since all these customers were waiting. For $6.50, the soup dumplings hit the spot. It was not too filling nor was I craving for more food afterward. They were piping hot when I ate them. I like they gave me a spoon and a pair of chopsticks. The cashier was pleasant. I thought it was interesting she spoke to the other customers in Chinese. However, she spoke English when it was my turn to give her my order. I don't know, if I would come here again. It didn't impress me enough to want to try other cuisines.

Phuong D.

Yelp
The New World Mall Food Court is a must visit if you come to Flushing and want to try out a variety of authentic Chinese food. My friend and I tried out 4 stalls: pork shrimp and chive fried dumplings from Chinese and Korean Dumplings, roujiamo from Uyghur place, Jian Bing, and taiwanese fried chicken. Everything tasted good and flavorful and the prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. Service was very quick and because we came before lunch time on a weekday, it was easy to get a table. If you go during the peak time on weekend it can be very hard to find a table. There are a bunch of other stalls that look delicious and worth a revisit to try out.

Amy C.

Yelp
So many different vendors from so many cuisine to choose from. Come with a group of people so you can try different stalls so worth it. Most places take cash, so make sure you bring cash. It gets busy around lunch time which finding a table is impossible so I suggest coming after or before lunch time. The food court is spacious with enough tables and seatings. Make sure you bring some wipes because sometimes the tables are super dirty / sticky there are however people coming to clean them but when it gets busy it's not cleaned. Definitely check out the Chinese Korean dumplings stall they have so many different variety of dumplings and the cute grandmas are making the dumplings in front of you so you get to see how it is done!

Amanda W.

Yelp
Honestly I thought I would love this food court but the majority of the food are all so spicy and it just seems like every stall catered to the a spicy tongue, which sadly was not really my cup of tea. We did find a few options that were not an overabundance of spiciness, but they are few to come by. Even with the option we found, we ordered a sweet rice onigiri, it was just sad. $5 for a whole stick rice with barely any floss. If you are into spicy food, this is your heaven, but if you are like me and not into spicy foods, you'll be walking around the venue several times in search of the perfect option, and even still that option is not so perfect. I'll pass on this food court next time in lieu of a sit down restaurant.

J J.

Yelp
很好 美味的食物、健康的东西以及继续旅程所必需的东西。 Very good delicious food, healthy stuff and necessary things to continue the journey.

Jahnavi U.

Yelp
My husband and I visited this place to get some lunch about a week ago. They have many choices for lunch, dinner or something in between. The cuisine choices were dim sum, Korean, Thai, Taiwanese, Hot Pot, Boba drinks and more. The vendors serve up the orders in good time and give good portion. The dishes are enjoyed by students, families and couples. Ambiance - the food court was bustling with people.

Jennifer N.

Yelp
It feels like stepping into Asia! Lots of food options and plenty of seating. They also have a public bathrooms here. We ordered the beef noodle soup for $10. Pro tip: ask for extra bowls.

Sou L.

Yelp
Yippee!! A food court offering a variety of Asian food. I absolutely love the options and my fav was the dry pot. The servers weren't friendly but who cares when the food is so good.

Joanne C.

Yelp
The nostalgia was so real here. Such a variety of yummy Asian foods that it was so hard to pick where to buy from! DON'T FORGOT TO BRING CASH! My favorite was the roujiamo from the Uyghur place (next to the KFT). It was perfectly flavored, with hints of cumin too! The staff was kind and encouraged us to keep up with our Chinese. Cash discount! My second favorite was the jian bing guo zhi from the Jian Bing place! It's all made in front of you with speed! Tastes amazing and more filling than it looks! Also paid with cash here. There is plenty of seating in the food court on a busy Sunday afternoon!

James H.

Yelp
Came for a quick dinner recently - we had spicy noodles from the Thai place, boon chu. Really delicate noodles, decent spice level with slices of chilies and Thai basil. Good flavor. We also had sweet crispy chicken from the Korean place - aggressively sweet but substantial Portion and extraordinary crispness.

Angie Y.

Yelp
New World Mall is a no frills "mall" (to me - it really doesn't have many stores and operates more like a supermarket with a food court than a destination for shopping -- with tons of asian food options. There is everything from freshly made dumplings, to bubble tea, to noodles, noodle soups, rice rolls, and what is cool about this place is you can experience the cuisine of almost every Asian country without leaving the confines of a food court. And while food court food usually gets a bad rap -- all of the stalls here are super authentic and are super reasonably priced. While not all stalls are cash only, I would bring cash just in case. Vendors are not the friendliest but efficient.

Thomas S.

Yelp
Huge Asian food court showcasing mainly Chinese and Korean foods. The Chinese food stalls of various Chinese provinces are available. From what I can tell, prices are very reasonable. Most stalls only accept cash. Since it is located in the basement, it is kind of gloomy. Lots of tables are available. Restrooms are kind nasty. Overall, it was a great place to try some regional Chinese foods at an affordable prices.

Katherine G.

Yelp
There's definitely some great spots here, but you really got to find them. I believe this is one of the most popular spots to get food when in Flushing's Chinatown, and I was especially looking forward to trying Stall 28 after recently watching Simply Dumpling's video on it. The interior is just like a typical food court with stalls all around the area and plenty of seating in the middle. I'm not sure if they not longer sell it or I didn't see it, but I couldn't get the dish that was mentioned in the Youtube video. Instead, I opted for the spicy cold qq noodles with beef. The plate came out with a huge portion. Now, this is partially my fault for not asking but I didn't realize that the sauce contains peanuts which I am allergic to, so after the first bite I could feel something was up. When I went back to ask about it, they confirmed that it indeed had peanuts so I decided to get something new, but they still made me pay for it. I understand that it was my fault for not asking, but I feel like for such a common allergen and a dish where it isn't obvious that it has peanuts, there should be some sort of warning. The kung fu soup noodles I got instead were just alright -- on the better end for soup noodles but nothing too spectacular. 3 stars overall for that stall. My friends also ordered from LanZhou hand pulled noodles and the Taiwanese street snacks stall, so we shared a few bites. The lu rou fan from the Taiwanese spot was spectacular. I would definitely go back and get that if I came again. The lanzhou noodles were also really good and comforting. Overall, worth checking out but don't expect too much from this area. You can probably find much better food at local spots instead.

Ilana Z.

Yelp
We've been here so many times! All the food stalls are great and affordable. You really can't go wrong. The most recent time we came we got 10 fried pork and chive dumplings for $12. They came with a homemade vinegary chili sauce. So delicious! I can't wait to come back and try the dry pot places that always have a line!

Jesse Y.

Yelp
Tasty Small eats in a very crowded food court smack dab in the middle of downtown Flushing. Large selection of all Asian type foods but certainly no longer budget friendly.

Samuel C.

Yelp
If you love Chinese food, (And what Yelper does not?) and you are visiting New York City, Then a trip to the New World Mall Food Court is an absolute MUST. 1) Chinatown in Manhattan is dead. It is a shadow of its former self. Little Italy, the Jewish Lower East Side and Chinatown in Manhattan are all running on the fumes of memories. The young people moved to other neighborhoods. The customer base moved to other neighborhoods. The exciting restaurants moved with them. 2) The Chinese food moved to Flushing in Queens. So did all the stores, and so did the middle class and wealthy Chinese customers. (Okay, the Chinese customer based divided itself between other neighborhoods in Queens and the suburbs of Long Island. Flushing was just a good central point in which to do business.) 3) An obvious difference between Chinatown in Queens and Chinatown in Manhattan is that Chinatown in Queens has many major large supermarkets. These are as large or larger than the typical Safeway. They have every kind of fish you can think of - including eel, every kind of meat you can think of including all parts of the pig, and cans and jars from all over Asia. And those supermarkets are filled to the gills with East Asian customers. Grocery stores in Manhattan Chinatown are the size of a living room. They have lots of Asian customers to be sure, but they simply can not compete with Queens. 4) Flushing is easy to get to. Get on the number 7 Subway. Go to the end of the line. You are there. Roosevelt and Main where you get off is the epicenter of Flushing Chinatown. 5) Yes, there are free standing famous restaurants in Flushing Chinatown. However, most of the action is in food courts. Food courts are everywhere. Many buildings have food courts. Buildings that don't have food courts may still have a warren of interesting East Asian enterprises that are not restaurants. But if you are there to eat, you want to find the buildings with food courts. They won't be hard to find. 6) The New World Mall is one of the best. The food court is in the basement. There is however a very interesting barbecued duck place on the first floor where you come in to the mall. There are lines and lines of Chinese people waiting to buy their duck there. I assume they are not waiting in line because the duck is terrible. 7) On the second floor of the New World Mall is JMart. JMart is the Japanese answer to HMart - and is the biggest Japanese supermarket I have seen that is not in Japan. It is an amazing place. It takes up the entire second floor and is absolutely jam-packed with customers of every East Asian nationality imaginable. Just the vegetable stands and the fish stands will knock you for a loop. 8) The food court has twenty seven different stalls - all serving East Asian food. Most of them do not serve a format you would readily recognize. There are Uyghur places, there are Malatang places, there are three-flavor-fish places, there are brown sugar boba places (that latter one I recognized), there are pancake places, there are Taiwanese places (I recognize that one too but it is not so common), there are Thai street food places (no curry on the menu), there are chicken sandwich places, there are lots of noodle and ramen noodle places (okay, that one I recognize too) ... and the list goes on. I had Malatang from one of the three Malatang places. I gave the stand five stars. I could probably skip a few of the stands in the New World Mall. (I am not in a huge rush to have anything from Kung Fu Tea.) But I would say there were at least twenty places that I was dying to eat at. One down. Nineteen to go.

Nikhil R.

Yelp
This is the spot to go when you want the best Chinese food in the US. This mall has an entire level of food courts with some of the best Chinese food around. Come here specifically for just the food court, but remember CASH ONLY for all places. Some will only accept credit card after a specific amount (like $10 or more). But most are just strictly cash transactions.

Ray L.

Yelp
When you visit downtown Flushing, you'll experience a vibrant mix of people from various regions of China and Asia, each bringing their unique culinary traditions. Gone are the days where you only had the traditional Cantonese American menus featuring dishes like thick-skinned wonton soup, egg drop soup, egg foo young, fortune cookies and etc. You'll now find a dazzling array of eateries offering regional specialties from new immigrants. Each cuisine boasts its distinct flavors, cooking methods, and ingredients. A prime spot to sample this diverse range of flavors is in the New World Mall. Located in the basement of this mall is a large indoor food court where you pick your choice of meal from over 30 food stalls. Each offering dishes from their respective cultural backgrounds. For those who can't read Chinese, menu photos and English translations are posted throughout the food court to help guide your choices. A definite unique dining experience with cafeteria style seating. Noise level is pretty high so don't expect too much of a romantic meal. Whether you're a curious newcomer or a well-versed foodie, this lively food court will provide plenty to delight your palates.

Ming W.

Yelp
This mall has a supermarket on the second fl and a food court at the lower level. There's also a large dim sum restaurant on the 3rd fl. The food court has soooo much to offer. You will find a wide range of Asian food at the food court. Plenty of table and seats available. They do get busy on the weekend and tables are taken rather quickly.

Karen H.

Yelp
I haven't been to Flushing for a very long time, and didn't know what to eat. I went inside the New World Mall at Flushing to see what food they have at the food court. There are many food options inside. Service was quick. inside this food court is very packed. We came across this place called "Lanzhou Handmade Noodle" who make flavorful noodles and rich broth. We got the roast duck & ribs. It's so good! This place accepts CASH only. Definitely come check it out . I'll come back again.

Jessica D.

Yelp
Wow! If only I had four stomachs! I took 34 high school students here and a good time was had by all. I personally ate a Chinese pancake with shrimp and beautifully fresh scallions and cilantro. The egg pancake was brushed with a savory sauce. Something crispy was folded up inside, adding to the textural interest of the dish. I ate a lamb skewer, too. It was dusted with cumin and chili, totally addictive. I saw about twelve other things I wanted to try but I was too full. Plenty of seating on a Tuesday afternoon. Clean and cheerful vibes. Some of the vendors didn't speak English and some don't take credit cards. There is a cash machine in the basement. Go!

Liu H.

Yelp
The New World Mall's been opened for almost a decade now? It's located underground inside of the New World Mall right outside of the 7 trains. There are several vendors underneath this place. Because Flushing has an influx of Koreans, you'll also see some vendor foods are Korean/Chinese infused. This food court is a nice place to grab some north Chinese food. Northern Chinese food are often spicy because most regions in northern China is cold most of the year, like Bei Jing, Hu Nan, Hu Bei for example. I usually stop by here if I am going to a Met's game (and then take a nice long stroll from Flushing to the Met's stadium). Yesterday, I got an eel rice bowl ($15.00) with a side of the miso soup that comes with it at Ramen & Noodles. I wanted to get some Bao 小笼包 as well, but unfortunately they only do $7.50/4. In other words, if you want a small snack from here, it's really unlikely. You'd need to get a "meal". The pricing is average $14-15 per meal. Though once you get outside of the food court, you'll find the same meal half the price at a bakery and restaurants under the LIRR, for instance. Overall, I think this food court has a variety of food options. Great if you live nearby and like spicy food, Chinese-Korean infused food, and also bubble teas. PS: The tables can use some regular cleaning/sanitizing.

Yelp
Good luck choosing which stand to get your food from. Better yet find 4 friends and everyone gets something different from 15 or so vendors and share. Best Asian food court in a mall EVER!

Yelp
I just keep finding myself here whenever I'm flushing!! -Gongcha boba is always a must have when you're here. All drinks were delicious and was made very quick. - 麻辣香锅 - my first time trying this dry pot place, the amount of food was about 35$. You have to be strict with how much you want because they will grab a hand full of whatever you ask for. You pay by pound! Also, you'll have to leave $5 if you're dining in, which you will get back after you bring the bowl back. - I asked for the spiciest option which wasn't as spicy as I wished for. I think I should just say 15/10 spice level next time!

Yelp
My goodness, this place is so awesome!! If you want to try some good authentic Asian food, this place is great and the choices are endless it seems. It took me a minute to walk around and try to decide on what to try. Would definitely love to come back again the next time in the area.
