Really good, authentic Chinese food (I'm Chinese). Friendly service. Definitely recommend the salt and pepper cod, everything we got we liked.

We’ve been to EA Seafood before for their authentic Chinese dishes (truly on par with the best spots in SGV and Monterey Park), but just discovered they serve dim sum on the weekends —and wow, it did not disappoint. The shumai dumplings were huge, juicy, and absolutely bursting with porky and shrimpy flavors. The har gow were spot-on, stuffed with generous chunks of shrimp that tasted fresh and perfectly cooked. But the surprise star of the meal had to be the pork and chive dumplings. These were insanely good—savory, aromatic, and packed with that bold chive/green onion flavor that pairs so well with the pork. This dim sum is legit, and it’s so exciting to have a spot like this right here in Long Beach. EA Seafood has officially become our go-to for both classic Chinese dishes and dim sum. Can’t wait to come back again!

You may have a long wait, if you don't make a reservation, but it will be Well Worth the Wait Anyway! Food was delicious! Not too Salty! The Shrimp Lettuce Wrap, Beef Broccoli, etc. All Great! Highly recommend going, but Do Make Reservations, Especially, if more than three guests. EA Becoming Very Popular!!

First time at this establishment. Very nice decor, staff was very friendly. The bathroom was Pretty & CLEAN, except for the little sign above the table that says DON'T put TP in the toilet! REALLY? Get better plumbing! The food was good although not a lot of flavor. Not sure if this place uses MSG or not. Might be why I'm not giving it 5 stars and have read the flavor lacks at this restaurant. I would like to come back and try some other dishes that I've never had, like jelly fish!

The restaurant is kinda run down from the outside but when you walk in you will be greeted with rustic- wooden-classic peaceful vibe. And the food, if it’s not good I won’t be calling them every day for pick up. The tofu Szechuan combined with cod fish fillet minus sweet n sour sauce are my favs! Yummy!!!

My first time here , came based off Google reviews. Absolutely wish we can order everything off the menu but my stomach can't take it all!! I ordered the Cantonese filet mignon stir fry with mushrooms, onions and Thai basil leaves and it was soooo flavorful and tender. My friend ordered the chow mein with chicken and it was soo delicious and I'm not talking about the panda express type chow mein. Can tell that this place really uses quality ingredients. Love the atmosphere. Hope to come back here again with my family to enjoy their dimsum!! I definitely want to try their Boston lobster fish next time!! Please check this restaurant out if you are a local or coming from out of town! It's a must😊

Late lunch around 3. Not busy, seated right away. Food was ok. I had better, salty to me. dim sum sauce should be given when ordered dim sum, i shouldn't be asking for it. How can I eat fried rice with a fork? Spoon should be given also.

Like the place, i would recommend it. Being from Cantonese decent, it's nice to hear your ancestor's language spoken by staff. Attentive and efficient service. Now, let's talk about the food. EA Seafood offers some of the best Chinese cuisine I've had the pleasure of tasting in the LBC (Long Beach, California). It had been a while since I indulged in jellyfish, but my husband, who hails from Ukraine, insisted on ordering it. The waitress kindly double-checked if he was aware of what he was ordering, which we appreciated. We weren't terribly hungry so only ordered the walnut shrimp and the Cantonese style noodles. Both were good, i didn't quite taste the wok's heat, in the noodles, but they were delicious no less. Overall, our experience at EA Seafood was delightful, and I can't wait to return to sample more of their offerings. If you're craving authentic Cantonese cuisine with a personal touch, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You won't be disappointed!

The only downside to this place is the small, busy parking lot. However, street parking is available--just be mindful of restrictions, especially on Tuesdays. The food was absolutely delicious! Everything was packed with flavor but not overly sauced or seasoned, and none of the dishes left you feeling heavy. I especially enjoyed the red bean pig bun--it wasn't too sweet, and the bun itself was perfectly steamed

I have to say that I was really pleasantly surprised by how well that EA seafood restaurant satisfied our Dim Sum craving. It's easily the best dim sum option in Long Beach. Each of their dim sum options were priced at $8 per order; however, the dumplings and buns were pretty substantial in size. The reason we will be coming back again soon are because: (1) the dim sum was freshly prepared when we ordered it, (2) we really enjoyed what we got (siu mai, shrimp/chive dumpling, fried mochi dumpling with pork, and baked BBQ pork bun). (3) The "fried mochi dumpling" had an incredible texture from their dough. I've had these "football" fried dumps elsewhere, but it was quite good here. (4) the shrimp and chive dumpling we had was generously packed with both shrimp and chive. The textures were perfect. Glad that I was able to pair it with some of their chili oil and hot mustard. (5) the hot tea and thai tea that we ordered perfectly hit the spot. I was hesitant to get the thai tea; however, it ended up being surprisingly satisfying. I'd order both of these again. Things that could have been better: 1) price point is above average for a dim sum plate; however, we got fair quantity and dumpling sizes were above average. 2) service was ok, but not great; however, we were able to get what we needed by simply asking when we could. My rating of this place can go up or down with repeat visits, depending on being able to try more of the menu; however, we were so happy with what we did order. We will likely come back for dinner on another night as they have a pretty extensive menu of Cantonese food (and Americanized Chinese classics) here. Overall, I'm surprised that it's not busier than it was, and I think it's quite underrated as it's a great option for Dim Sum in LB, if you don't want to drive an hour to go to SGV.

Back again because we had such a great dinner last time! Kept it simple again. We wanted to order more dishes but each entree was such a generous portion that we had leftovers from just two plates! Service is low key, little conversation but always professional and pleasant. We chose the beef and mixed vegetables again because it is such a tasty, perfect combination of meat and vegetables and can be paired with just about anything. We chose the chicken prepared Mongolian style as our other dish and white rice. The chicken dish had some spice! The red pepper flakes with red onion, scallion and ginger brought some heat and wow flavor! I don't think I would have enjoyed it alone, but with the beef dish, that is savory but mild, it was perfect. Hoping to bring more people with us next time so we can sample many more dishes! I think it will be tasty no matter what we order. The restaurant itself is relaxed and neighborhood casual and we love the large video screen with aquatic scenes, but the food is very refined and beautifully prepared. One of our new favorite spots!

The team had a nice lunch here. We left really full and satisfied. Everyone agreed the flavors were good and satisfying. Ordered and our food was on the table seemingly in 15 minutes or so.

FOOD: the food was 4 1/2 stars. We had... Thai tea- the tea was tasty and not a drop spilled. Mongolian beef- this dish was delicious and was Kevin's favorite of all the dishes that we tried. I agree it was full of flavor and the meat was very tender. Honey walnut shrimp- the shrimp were huge and properly butterflied. I get really turned off by remnant poo veins in shrimp. There could've been more walnuts. Rock cod in black bean sauce- I love this dish, and I feel very healthy when I eat it. There was lots of tender fish. This was my favorite dish of all that we tried. The rock cod in black bean sauce and the Mongolian beef are available for the lunch special. With the lunch special, you get an egg roll, soup, and either steamed or fried rice. I felt that both the steamed and fried rice were bland by themselves. That ended up being a good thing because when you add the rice to the dishes with sauce, the flavor goes up exponentially. The hot and sour soup that came with the lunch specials was one of the best I've had. I'm a big fan of hot and sour soup over egg flower soup. Kevin liked it too, but not as much as he likes egg flower soup. SERVICE: I picked up my phone order and Andrew had everything nicely packaged, and it traveled well. He was pleasant and professional. AMBIENCE: I ordered food to go, but I am very familiar with the inside of this restaurant. I used to come here in the late 80s/early 90s when it was a Japanese restaurant called Kinokawa. The inside is pretty much how it was back then except for newer and missing the sushi bar. The restaurant is dark and spacious.

Tasty, fresh ingredients . Good service. My picky wife really enjoyed. Our new favorite Long Beach true Chinese restaurant. Will be back soon to try the Din Sum, served daily.

Perfect little mom and pop spot. Went late on a Sunday evening and they were more than happy to help us. We ordered the salt and pepper pork chops, delicious!!!! Also got a side of chow mein, cheese wontons, and hot & sour soup. Everything was fresh and amazing. I highly recommend this if you're looking for an authentic Chinese spot with large portions.

This place was recommended by a family member and it did not disappoint. From the outside, you would not expect such a large and inviting restaurant. We arrived without a reservation and were seated quickly. The menu has something for everyone and we were quite pleased with the dishes we ordered. My favorite dish was the Kung Pao Delight. It was so good! We will be returning soon.

Sooo glad to finally have another family style Chinese seafood restaurant in LB (although it's been a while, I'm just late to the game). We ordered a bunch of dishes to go for a Saturday night and the food was still ready really fast. Love that you can order online which makes it convenient. We got a handful of dishes all of which were pretty good; what stuck with me especially was the chicken and salted fish fried rice which had a nice umami flavor without really tasting much like salted fish, and the Peking duck! The nice part is that they serve you all the meat with the Peking duck deboned--not just the skin, and the meat with bones attached like some other places--which makes it really convenient to eat. Definitely would be back for the Peking Duck. This is one of those places where you can't go wrong, all the dishes look and taste great. Will have to be back to try the other dishes! Just keep in mind this parking lot can get busy and full as it's pretty small, but you should be able to find some parking in the neighborhood on the same street.

What a great find!!! In the Long Beach Area for work and my coworkers and I thought it would be a great idea to get together for dinner for the Chinese New Year holiday. Only trying to help The ambiance and decor is simple but the food and service makes you forget about all that.

By far one of the best Chinese restaurants in Long Beach. An extensive menu where the food is of great quality and consistent. The Diced filet French Style is amazing. This is a little hidden jewel.

I love this place!!!! This review is long overdue since I've probably been here around 4-5 times for dinner -- I even had the honor of having my birthday dinner here earlier this year, haha. My partner and I always get the veggie fried rice, orange peel chicken, and stir fried Mongolian beef to share. Food has been delicious every time, and we usually have a lot to take home. When we came with a bigger group for my birthday, we also got the cheese wontons and seafood pan fried noodles. Both were delicious as well; you really can't go wrong with any of their dishes. Prices are on the higher side but considering the quality and how much food you get, I'd say it's pretty reasonable. This spot was formerly a Japanese restaurant and the interior decor definitely still reflects that, but it's a nice ambiance regardless. Service is always phenomenal. My partner and I LOVE their chili oil sauce and go through it like crazy every time we go to EA. Last time we were here, we asked the owner (?) if they sold their sauce, and he came back with a full to-go container of the sauce for us to take home for free! Tasty Chinese! It's in an assuming strip mall lot. Interiors make it look like a previous Japanese type restaurant. They have all the Chinese specialties for sharing including a selection of small plates dimsum and larger entrees. Menu was hard to decifer without photos though so we scanned Yelp for photos.

Cute little Chinese place. They are in a small strip mall, not in the greatest area of LB, but they have their own parking and the interior is clean. I ordered the salt and pepper pork chop, yang chow fried rice, and Singapore rice noodles. I wasn't in love with any of one dish. There was no love in the food. It was just okay.

We had the orange chicken, Mongolian beef, salt and pepper squid, egg flower soup, pork fried rice. Everything was delicious. Service was excellent.

This time, the three of us went early for lunch and was able to order from the dim sum menu this time. Some of the dishes were quite good, with large portions, but also having the price to account for it. Don't expect Chinatown or SGV quality or prices. We came around 11:00, and surprisingly, we were the only customers. The interior is as nice as described before, and the three of us were seated in a booth/chair combination with plenty of space. All dim sum here are prepared when it is ordered, so preparing might mean just defrosting and steaming it from frozen in most cases. One orders simply from a paper sheet by marking what you want. It will start to arrive as it is prepared, and was inadvertently a nice cadence to we could sample everything as it came. We ended up bringing back about a third of the food homw so we ordered just a little too much for the three of us. Service was excellent throughout, including bringing out sturdy to-go containers for our left overs. Pork Porridge w preserved duck egg ($14.75) - it's a large bowl, enough to serve 4 people multiple helpings. The pork was barely there, but there was plenty of diced up egg...I like the pungent taste of this playing off of the plain congee, but my companions did not. Definitely not for everyone. Steamed pork dumplings ($7.95 each) - Got two of this. this is supposed to be a soup dumpling (XLB). There were five pieces, pretty sure it was prepared from frozen, originally made by a machine (the top didn't have any creases and the wrapper was uniform and thick). Not much soup inside, and the little pork ball had little flavor. Definitely skippable. Shrimp Rice Noodle Roll ($7.95) - one of the best dishes we got. Plenty of plump, well flavored shrimp, surrounded by thick rice noodle sheets, covered in a soy sauce. It needs to be chopped up to be servable, and we did that with our forks. Shrimp dumpling (HarGow for $7.95 each) - got two of this, and it was good and filling. Three large pieces in each order. It wasn't stuffed with whole shrimp like other places, but instead had a very chunky shrimp mixture that gave it a nice flavor and mouth feel. House Special Pan Fried Noodle ($16.95) - presented so beautifully, this dish shows that EA Seafood is elevated Chinese cooking. The brown sauce was good, and it was fun cutting the fried noodle with the provided spoon, making sure you got the side pieces that you wanted. Pineapple Sweet Cream Bun ($7.95) - part of the dim sum menu, it was OK. Tasted like it was prepared from frozen, typical from a Chinese grocery. I'm sure if we knew what we wanted, we could have asked for a right sauce, but wish they had offered a selection of it. The right sauce would really have elevated some of these dishes.

Solid 4 stars. I haven't been here before and didn't look at pictures, so was a bit surprised when I parked. The outside is unassuming with no windows, inside a small plaza with a smoke shop next door. When you walk in, it feels like a Japanese restaurant. I'm Chinese and I thought the food was above avg. You put in the order with pencil and paper and the food comes out shortly. Listed in order of best to worst HK style beef chow fun - first dish that came out, big portion, good taste Siu mai - pretty good taste, 4 big pieces and had a nice bounce Black bean sparerib - pretty good flavor, wish there was more black bean sauce Ha gow - 3 big pieces (wish it was 4), thicker outer layer, decent Chicken feet - more of a yellowish color, below avg. Pork rice noodle roll - ordered it thinking it was the red cha siu but it was more like ground pork. Felt doughy. Not a lot of meat. $80 for 2 people (guy and girl) and had some leftovers. I wanted to give it a 4 stars but I couldn't. Some of the main dishes were good, but some of them were a miss. But I would go back and give it another shot.

This review is past due. Thought I had written a review, but obviously must have forgotten to post and it has disappeared. We ordered beef chow fun, shrimp dumpling (har gow), sui mai, ribs with black bean sauce, steamed bean curd rolls, fried mochi (savory) This is definitely not San Gabriel Valley quality dim sum. The dim sum tasted like the frozen stuff you buy at Chinese markets rather than freshly made. You select from the menu as opposed to carts that are pushed around. That seems to be the trend these days. I guess that means less waste. Unfortunately, that also means you don't have the opportunity to try new dishes. The restaurant could definitely use a makeover. Looks like it might have been a Japanese restaurant in a previous life. Was looking forward to enjoying dim sum with the family...but this wasn't it.

I tried their stir fry beef and it was really good. Perfect lunch plate. It came with egg flower soup that was good and the single spring was perfectly crispy. Another notch.

WTH! I got 5 items for 106.00 bucks never again will I pay this much for Chinese take out! Small portions and food was just regular. Golden phoenix is my go too but i read so many good things about this place I figured I would try it. Not for me!

This unassuming former Japanese restaurant in a small strip mall has some awesome Chinese food. We went when they opened on a Saturday and were seated right away by their friendly staff. The dim sum portions are quite large and tasty. Tried a lot of out standards: shu mai, sticky rice, pork ribs, ha gow, tofu rolls, shrimp noodles, baked bao, veggie/shrimp dumpling, gin duey and egg tarts. We also had a Peking duck and chow fun. Super generous portions and we can't wait to go back.

Came with my wife and kids to this highly rated place. My expectations were very high. We ordered some recommended items from the waiter. Most was pretty good but the duck was horrible. I did order everything on the menu so maybe it is my fault for ordering wrong. But for the price I dont think it was worth it to me.

We literally circled the area looking for EA Seafood, not realizing the Japanese resteraunt with the former name still up was now EA Seafood. I'm guessing the banner flew off. We walked in to check, and the menus at the entrance confirmed it was indeed EA Seafood. You'll immediately notice that the inside decor still has remnants of a Japanese restaurant. We were welcomed in and realized that we made it just in time for the lunch specials, which ends at 3pm. From the lunch special menu, we ordered the Kung Pao Chicken, which came with egg drop or sweet and sour soup, an egg roll, and a small bowl of rice. We also tried the Honey Walnut Shrimp, not on the lunch special menu, and Combination Fried Rice. Overall, your best value is the lunch specials. Everything was good, but I found the food to be a bit bland. I'll come back to try more of the menu.

What an amazing and surprising discovery. One of the BEST Chinese Restautant in LA County, L9ng Beach. It's liberally hidden gem! Everything I have tried is delicious, DIM SUM, Kung pao chicken unbeatable. Service EXCELLENT. You can be sure I will go back... back and back! I highly recommend.

This place has some of the best chinese food i had in LB. I think it is the best actually. So i saw somebody talking about EA on FB so i wanted to try since its close to home! I ordered the honey walnut shrimp, house fried rice which comes with rice, chicken, beef and shrimp and also the mongolian beef. The honey walnut shrimp was the best i ever had. The rice was good and the mongolian beef was flavorful. It's a bit pricy but the quality of food you get here is top notch. I would definitely come back no questions asked. The inside is nice and peaceful. The staff was good assisting me. Great place to bring a date or family night out. This is where the old japanese restaurant (kinokawa) was located. I hope they do good because they really are IMO the best in LB when it comes to good chinese food and we need more places like this in the area so we don't have to drive far out! . Food rating: Honey Walnut Shrimp = 9.4 (Best i ever had so far) Mongolian Beef = 8.7 House Fried Rice = 8.5

Food subpar Beans are wilted or overcooked Shrimp were overcooked and super rubbery I had hope and even asked for a takeout menu But, I'm not coming back.

DELICIOUS Cantonese food, coming from someone who just visited Hong Kong. We got the Singapore vermicelli and kung pao chicken. 1. Singapore noodles 8.5/10- has a great bouncy noodle texture that most Singapore noodles lack. It has a strong curry flavor which I love, and the shrimps were surprisingly succulent. Usually shrimps in Singapore noodles are dry and overcooked, but these were well done! 2. Kung Pao Chicken 10/10- BEST KUNG PAO CHICKEN!! The chicken was super tender and the sauce was amazing. The only critique is that I wish there were more peanuts but I won't dock a point because it's just that yummy! Friendly staff and a peaceful ambiance. They've got zen music playing and I felt like I was at a meditation class. The decoration and furniture was very Japanese inspired, but I think they took over after a Japanese restaurant closed. I highly recommend, and I'm so excited for them to add dim sum to their menu soon!

This unassuming Chinese restaurant really is a neighborhood gem. First off, there's almost no way to tell there's a restaurant at this location unless you're actually looking for it. Even then, I wouldn't expect it to be a Chinese seafood restaurant, and a very good one at that. Everyone in our party of four found the food to be delicious. The ingredients were very fresh and the portions were generous. The staff here are courteous and helpful, and the ambiance is quite nice, complete with soft, unobtrusive music and a Japanese design aesthetic. We're definitely adding AE Seafood to our dine-in/takeout rotation.

A little pricey but the food quality is high. As others have noted, this is a former Japanese restaurant and they have this super low key music with a video of sea turtles playing. We had the minced beef soup, cashew chicken, and some pan fried noodles. The food was really good, considering most local places were steam table fast food.

I had heard that a new Chinese restaurant opened up in Long Beach, so I decided to come check it out when meeting a former coworker for lunch. There is a dedicated parking lot which was not too full for lunch on a Wednesday, which made parking easy. The interior is beautiful and reflects decor of a former Japanese restaurant. Service was good though occasionally it would take some effort to flag someone down (we were not proactively checked on as regularly though when we got the servers' attention they would come to refill soup bowls or water without asking). I did hear some workers conversing in Cantonese. The menu is large and while it has all the Americanized stuff there was a decent offering of more authentic Chinese dishes as well. We ended up ordering primarily off of the regular/dinner menu, which while a little pricier comes as very large generous portions. We enjoyed the sauteed snow pea sprouts, clams with green onions and ginger, and black pepper beef dishes. My coworker ordered a large egg drop soup and two spring rolls. The egg drop soup was nothing special, though I did ask for white pepper. The clams dish sauce was a bit too thick/starchy for my tastes, but was otherwise tasty. There was a separate charge for steamed rice, $2.25 per large-ish rice bowl. While this charge does happen even in many Chinese restaurants, I always feel just a tad annoyed when rice doesn't outright come with the meal (though I suspect rice does come with the lunch specials). The lunch specials menu offered cheaper and smaller portions of several dishes, likely accompanied by rice and a small bowl of soup. Many restaurant patrons looked like they were working and came in to have a quick business lunch. Overall, food was not bad and service was solid. Prices were also fair and portions large (for regular/dinner menu items). I would definitely consider coming back to try more off of their menu!

I think this is one of the best Chinese restaurants around Long Beach. The place is clean and food is always delicious. Service is also good. My favorite things to order are scallion beef and sweet and sour cod fillet. This is my new go to place.

Short version: This has taken over my as #1 Chinese spot in Long Beach (1st place was LV Seafood). I've been here twice now. The first time I came by was when the local FB group about food in Long Beach was lighting up about this place, so we decided to give it a shot. Generally, speaking, a Chinese restaurant has to pass 1 of 3 tests. Any failures on any of them result in me crossing it off. Their speciality fried rice, their beef chow fun, or their mapo tofu is always the first thing I try. One of the three, doesn't matter. If it can't pass one, then I assume it can't pass the others. EA Seafood passed my chow fun test with flying colors. It hits that perfect nostalgia for classic westernized Chinese but with the higher-end quality you can expect from any Chinese restaurant that has Seafood in the name (an observation of mine over the years, any Chinese restaurant that has Seafood in the title along with fish tanks is typically going to be far better quality than most Chinese places). The 2nd time around, I decided to try their chicken egg rolls and their Hainanese chicken rice. I usually don't order egg rolls, but I was curious because I heard they do it "east coast" style (where they use egg roll wrappers and not spring roll wrappers, which I find way more common nowadays). And true to word, they do use egg roll wrappers! And they were fantastic! Very stuffed but it wasn't stuffed to the point to where it breaks. Fantastic! As for their Hainanese chicken rice, I was curious because it's not a common item to find in more "westernized" Chinese spots. I'm going to be a bit picky, they ALMOST nailed it (the rice didn't have enough chicken flavor in it). If I wasn't used to Savoy in the SGV, I probably wouldn't have noticed it. But the chicken was spot on, as was the ginger scallion sauce! In fact, I liked their ginger scallion sauce better here because it wasn't as salty as Savoy's. And finally, the service is amazing. When we walked in, the lady working the floor immediately recognized my SO because she had ROTD from the first time we were here and she remembered her review. It's very rare I see this level of personalized service nowadays (King Mediterrano in Torrance and Izakaya Osen in Irvine, both of which I reviewed previously and gave 5 stars, are the only other restaurants that I can recall that have this level of personalized service) and really, unless we just get zero service after sitting down, probably won't ever see anything less than 5 stars. And it was only our 2nd time here! We're definitely coming back more often. Sorry other Long Beach Chinese restaurants....this is the new standard.

Another great addition to Cal Heights! We were in need of a good Chinese restaurant. I would rate EA on par with Nomad, and above places like Yang Chow or Chen's. We had the spicy salted shrimp, Mongolian chicken, and some braised green beans. They were all very good. There are so many things on the menu that I want to try. Next up would be clams and a fish dish. My only complaint would be that I wish the landlord had renovated the space after Kinowawa left. It could really use an update and utilize the space better.

We used to eat here when it was a Japanese restaurant (Kinokawa), but this new seafood restaurant is absolutely delicious! We ordered the Chow Fun with chicken, Eggplant Szechuan Style, small Hot & Sour Soup, and a small Won Ton Soup. All dishes were excellent and we will be back to try more of the dishes they make. It was a very pleasant experience along with the company of the Manager (Mary) who was an absolute blast! She made us feel welcome and was surprised to see she was also servicing all the tables--it was an off hour we were there in addition to it raining so there was probably 2-3 tables, but still Mary is not afraid to get right in and take care of whatever needs attention. She was super entertaining that we told her she should be a comedian with the stories she shared. We will be back along with more people to enjoy this new restaurant. Thank you!

New restaurant alert! Hubby heard about EA Seafood from Long Beach Food Scene. He learned that the owner and several staff of EA came from Nomad Bistro. The space that EA Seafood occupies was formerly a Japanese restaurant and they've kept the atmosphere/decor. We were greeted by multiple staff upon entry and discovered that the interior of the restaurant is much larger than I expected it to be. Hubby is very picky about his Chinese food. His family owned a Chinese restaurant back in the day while he was growing up so his opinion of good Chinese food holds a lot of weight for me. Everything that we tasted, we loved! Salt & Pepper Bean Curd Cubes - lightly crispy topped with a little bit of fried garlic, peppers, and green onion. Great mix of textures between the chewy mushroom and the crunchy/juicy mustard green. https://bit.ly/49lklai Sichuan Spicy String Bean - They're using some good quality green beans for this dish! This one had a smokiness to it. YUM! Meateater Hubby also got the Beef Chow Fun. That's his measuring stick for what he considers a good Chinese restaurant. This place is Hubby-approved! Great food and great service! We felt very welcomed here. The restaurant was fairly quiet/empty when we first walked in at 6pm on a Thursday night. But the dining room started to fill up by the time we left. This place is a gem! I predict that this will become our regular go-to spot for our Chinese food cravings :)

Went here for lunch on. Wednesday. The jalapeño chicken was PHENOMENAL! The chicken was chicken breast and so moist and flavorful. The dish bursts with flavor. Have enough for 3 meals. You get a lot for your money, a bit on higher price but so worth it. Took home a chicken fried rice and that too is superb! I will definitely be back! Well done EA!

Best Chinese food I've had in a long time! Perfect mix of a fresh ingredients and traditional flavors.

I'd read about EA Seafood and decided to give them a try. Hubby is very picky about his Chinese l, but he agreed to give it a try. We ordered delivery on a rainy night. It was delicious!!! We ordered the Cream Cheese Wontons and they were crispy and good. The Filet Mignon was yummy and loved the onions it came with. I love a good Honey Walnut Shrimp and this one didn't disappoint. The Orange Chicken was excellent, not mired down in over-breading. And the chow mein was delicious. I regret that we couldn't eat there, even the Door Dash delivery guy asked about the food and said interior of restaurant was beautiful. I'm looking forward to eating in next time.

A friend and I visited EA earlier this week and had a fantastic lunch. We ordered a variety of dim sum options and main dishes, all of which were fantastic and delicious. I had not had dim sum in a really long time so I was looking forward to this visit, and I left quite happy with a bag full of leftovers to enjoy for dinner. The honey walnut shrimp and pan fried clams with ginger and green onion dishes were among my faves, along with the BBQ pork bun and shrimp dumpling dim sum picks. Our waitress was lovely and gave great service and we had our own little corner to ourselves and to catch up with each other. Highly recommended and will come back again for sure!

Authentic (albeit slightly Americanized) Chinese food, with a seafood focus. Located in an unassuming strip mall, the interior is incredibly cool. Mid century craftsman meets old world China, with lots of dark wood and a sunken dining room. The space has big tables, perfect for a larger groups. Nearly every menu item is served family style. The best dish we tried was their Pan Fried Noodle, which we got with just vegetables. The sauce was flavorful, and the noodles had a perfect springy bite. The Morning Glory greens were rich in garlic flavor, and everyone in my party enjoyed the roasted duck. The Sautéed Green Beans were delicious, but upon eating the dish, my sister bit into a piece of a steel wool scrubber. Fortunately, she realized what was happening before it did any permanent damage. The Shrimp in Lobster Sauce had no flavor whatsoever, aside from chalky cornstarch in the grey slurry of a sauce. Service was efficient, and genuinely apologetic about the steel wool incident. Not a terrible experience overall, but I doubt we will come back.

Thank goodness Long Beach finally has a dim sum place! The service is fantastic, atmosphere chill, food delicious. The dim sum is expensive in comparison to garden grove/Monterey park ... but it's local and the quality is top notch. Even the broth that the bok choy is cooked in is delicious! I'm a big fan on congee and this is some of the best out there. Totally worth a return visit.

Summary - it's ok if you come early or don't mind waiting. Wait is long. Service is slow but they're trying. Quality is decent for the price point. Tastes authentic. Came here on a Sunday afternoon, waited over an hour. The place is pretty small inside no banquet tables but I saw some groups of 9-12 people sitting at long tables. There's limited seats while waiting so if you have parents or grandparents have them come later or bring them a chair. Once seated I wrote my order down, it's ~$8 a dish. They are charging Lunasia prices - they are not Lunasia or NBC/Elite etc. I ordered fast and waved the one waitress down and gave it to her. I read the reviews about the wait for everything so I did this to ensure my order was in quickly. Gota be assertive at Asian places. I ordered... Chicken feet are my fave and must have. I'm glad they have it but they tasted more like soy braised than the regular chicken feet flavor I'm used to. Shrimp noodles were amazing! Very very fresh noodle and a large quantity which makes up for the price. There's a decent amount of shrimps. Wish they had put more sauce. Shu mai were decent. 3 piece per order. Char su bao were very sweet but nice and hot. Har gow I didn't love, there were ground shrimp and whole shrimp. Tasted off IMO. Service was okay. They're really trying but it's busy and here's not enough people. I'm sure they're working out kinks. Glad LB has dimsum I guess!!

I never knew this restaurant existed until my niece recommended. We ordered the crispy noodles, Mongolian, beef, salt and pepper shrimp, and the Dungeness crab, which was the star of the show! The flavors exploded in my mouth and I could not have been happier. The restaurant was full and busy for a reason. The service was friendly and attentive. I can't wait for the next visit to try something else on the menu.

It was delicious! The vibe was great and the staff was friendly! 10/10 would recommend and will be coming back.
