This place masterfully blends classic elegance with bold, unexpected flavors—and every dish we tried was a standout. We started with the French onion soup, and it was nothing short of perfection. Rich, deeply caramelized onions swimming in a savory broth, topped with a generous layer of gooey, golden cheese over perfectly toasted bread—comforting, indulgent, and absolutely unforgettable. Next up: escargot. Prepared in the traditional style - apparently it’s an old , well kept recipe with garlic, herbs, and butter, they were tender, aromatic, and melted in the mouth. A true delicacy that was executed flawlessly. The Korean ribs special brought a surprising but welcome fusion twist. Fall-off-the-bone tender with a sticky-sweet glaze , these ribs packed a flavorful punch and showcased the kitchen’s creativity. But the true showstopper? The lamb chops. Cooked to a perfect medium-rare, they were juicy, seasoned to perfection, and accompanied by a beautifully balanced side that enhanced, rather than overwhelmed, the star of the plate. I chose the truffle potatoes to go with it - great choice! The service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance struck that perfect balance of upscale and inviting. Whether you’re craving French classics or globally inspired specials, this restaurant is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back.

This was my first time dining at E&E and I really enjoyed it. Our server was attentive, friendly, and fun. Our appetizer and entrees were excellent. I had the filet and the doneness and seasoning were perfect. I'm somewhat picky about risotto and it was just right. Overall a wonderful dining experience and I can't wait to go again and introduce some others to E&E. Thanks!

We just recently moved to Belleair Beach and our neighbors recommended E&E Stakeout Grill. We were excited to try it and made reservations. Upon arrival, the hostess whispered to the seater to put us a table 13. Its number lived up to its location. Right in front of the busboy stand. It was so loud we couldn’t hear each other and it was also freezing. We were eventually moved to a better location. Our waiter took 45 minutes to bring us a piece of table bread. The entrees however were delicious and steaks cooked perfectly. Overall we were disappointed with the service and to be placed at such a bad table. We could understand the recommendation as the food was very good.

Food was good and their fresh bread and oil was really good. Lobster and steak were good as well. Service wasn't very attentive or friendly though ..

Google
Tucked in a plaza is this beautiful little steak and seafood spot and I must say I was very impressed with the menu and flavors for our late lunch. We started with the South African lobstercargot, crab cake, & Chateaubriand. The lobster was tender and on point, the crabcake sweet and delicate with great flavor, and the filet mignon carpaaccio was tender and very tasty, we then went onto the shrimp mac & cheese which blended well, the boneless short rib dinner with loaded mash potatoes which was very rustic and cooked perfectly along with a muffuletta sandwhich which was superb. I highly recommend you checking E & E Stakeout Out!

Our meal was absolutely delicious! Came for an Anniversary dinner and the food and service were both outstanding. Our server James was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back!

Google
Five stars all around! Delicious 😋 food and great staff. Definitely you need a reservation as the restaurant is always full. We've been here a few times and it's always amazing food. For my husband who would never order a pork chop, the one here is out of this world good! He's ordered it here now a few times and even tried to cook it at home lol 😂 Still better here! There are booths and tables , some tables outside if the weather is good. Great selection of cocktails some beers and wines. Mmmmm mmmmm good! Lots of parking in the parking lot. We highly recommend it!

Google
We enjoyed this steakhouse. Upscale, casual restaurant. Recommend reservations. It is a smaller restaurant but you don't feel like you are sitting on top of the people at the next table. Perfect for a date night, special dinner, or family event. We enjoyed the fresh warm bread. Escargot was interesting with a parmesan type butter, which wasn't what we expected, but it was good. Ceaser salad was crisp and the dressing was great. Steaks were prepared as ordered. We had a strip steak, filet medallions, and filet mignon. Mashed potatoes had good flavor. Service was good. Prices were reasonable and matched the quality of the food. Portions were typical. We enjoyed our dinner and would go back.

Yelp
I was brought here on my last day of work, and let me tell you--I did not expect what I saw when I walked in. E & E is tucked into a strip mall off West Bay, close to Largo Hospital, so I was bracing for something low-key. But the moment you step inside, the place screams upscale. It's sleek, elegant, and honestly a bit surprising given the location. Service was on point. Our server was attentive without being overbearing, and they kept the warm bread and dipping sauce coming nonstop, which honestly could've been a meal in itself. By the time our entrées arrived, I was already impressed. I ordered the filet, cooked medium rare, and it came out perfectly. Juicy, tender, and seasoned just right--it didn't need a thing added to it. The sides were equally solid. I had the garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus, both fresh and flavorful without feeling heavy. My tablemates were also happy with their dishes, especially the ribeye and the shrimp scampi, which apparently had just the right amount of kick. The atmosphere made the night feel a bit special--dim lighting, cozy booths, and an overall polished vibe without being pretentious. It was the kind of place you'd go for a celebration, a date night, or in my case, a memorable send-off. All in all, E & E Steakhouse Grill was a surprise in the best way. If you're in the Largo area and want a spot that delivers on food, service, and ambiance, this is it.

Yelp
This restaurant is the most consistent of any restaurant I have ever eaten !!!! I have eaten here since we moved here. It was Eugene's years ago. Yesterday I stopped in for Happy hour and the margarita was wonderful as well as the oysters !!! Exceptional service and food

Yelp
Ambiance 4/10 Service 6/10 Food 8/10 We did make a reservation a week in advance and put down it was for a birthday... showed up 10 min early and got a small booth in the side of the room. 2 party walk-ins had larger tables around us. Received a "happy birthday" for my guest at the entrance and that was all. May be because we are younger and the other tables received better service... still don't think ageism is ok. Will not be coming back.

Yelp
We had reservations and we were seated immediately. Our server was great and our drinks were great. The bottle of wine was chilled and served as requested. I could go on about the service being superb. But, steak ordered medium rare came out below medium. Manager came by and ensured he would compensate (bill was $280 before tip). The side veggie , broccoli, was raw. Two couples including tip, spent over $400.

Yelp
We met some friends there for an impromptu dinner. The ambience was lovely but unexpected being that it is locate in a strip mall. We started with bread and dipping oil which was wonderful. I ordered the sea bass with garlic mashed potatoes. I started with the clam chowder which was delicious. My sea bass was disappointing and the potatoes were not as fresh as I would have liked. We ended with a lovely chocolate dessert, which was excellent. I would recommend this place but perhaps try something else.

Yelp

Yelp
Sometimes somebody does something well and they keep doing it. And it stands the test of time. That's how I feel about this restaurant that I recently had the pleasure to revisit after 20 years away. I remember when they opened. I was living here at the time. My parents would always come here for the early bird rodeo steak. Chef deserves all the kudos. This is a special place.

Yelp
Here to celebrate our 49th anniversary today. James was our server and did an awesome job. I had the grouper. Wife had the pork chops. Son had the Delmonico steak. Everything was on point. We love the quiet atmosphere of the place. Hopefully we'll be back for our 50th.
google avatar

Leishla D.

Yelp
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted and given incredible service. The host immediately sat us down for our reservation and congratulated us on our anniversary. Minutes later, another server appeared, took our drink orders and brought fresh bread. I ordered their take of an Espresso Martini which was delicious! We both ordered a steak and shared sides which were huge haha. Our steaks were tender, and cooked to perfection. Shortly after the manager of the restaurant came by to check on our dinner. We sang their praises and applauded everything being on point. We ended the night with a complementary dessert, which was a take on berries & waffles. We will definitely be back the next time we're in the area. Amazing prices, and even better service. 10/10!

Yelp
Surprised we haven't checked this place out sooner. We decided to celebrate our anniversary at this local steakhouse. It was a Sunday and was super busy. We learned that they have a prime rib special on Sundays. Will have to try it next time as it was sold out. As you walk in , the place looks like a typical steakhouse. Table cloth on tables. They also have seasonal/ daily specials and after going over the menu we settled with the following: Grilled octopus Lobstercargo lobster meat in escargot sauce Main course we have the 6 oz fillet and delmonico ribeye. All were delicious. For desert we had the crème brulee and pistachio torte Service was superb! 4 stars because we were not greeted right away and stood there until they realized we were waiting to be greeted and seated. However the manager came to our table, apologized and took the crème brulee off our tab! I definitely recommend this place and will be back to bring the whole family.

Yelp
Solid four stars. Good service and the food was hot and tasty and presented well. Nice atmosphere. Bar scene looked vibrant. Will return.

Yelp
First time here and probably the last. My dear mother gave us a $100 gift certificate so we finally chose to use it. We both studied the menu ahead of time and I nearly choked on the prices for most of the options. However since it's close to my birthday, who cares? We arrived for the opening at 4pm and there was already a herd out there waiting. Hostess said that all there is are outdoor tables and hi tops by the bar, plus the bar itself. So we got a hi top for 4 and that was that. A few minutes afterward the waitress (Christina) showed up and fetched us bread and oil... We also skipped apps and went right to entrees. Prime rib for the Queen Bee and Delmonico (ie ribeye) for me. Both came with grilled veggies while I chose a baked tater and QB stayed with "loaded" mashed taters. Based on how crowded this place was from the get go (huge party in the back), I was thinking it would be a long wait. However not even 15 minutes after we ordered, the food runner came out with our plates. Holy crow!! Her prime rib was in fact rare as she asked for it. My ribeye was a lil underdone for medium but still quite acceptable. Prime rib has no flavor to begin with so I can't tell ya much...horsey sauce and au jus were both good however, as were the mashed taters. Actually it was potato mousseline and not "mashed taters" in the strict sense. Ribeye as I said was a lil less than medium but not so rare as I didn't like it. One quick word about that...As soon as the food runner left, Christina came along and asked me to cut into my steak just to see. She looked as well and a frown came across her face. I told her it was fine and that was that. As I said: I don't think we are gonna be back. For one thing, I don't like overpriced food. The above along with 4 glasses of house Cabernet (Copper Ridge) came up to just under $114 with tax, including. $1.50 "upcharge" for a damn baked potato. Service was solicitous and friendly, if a bit disjointed. As Christina brought back the receipt she said that she "hope(d) you enjoyed your first meal with us." Well, to be honest, it'll STILL be our last. I can get all this and more for less at Longhorn while enjoying my experience a lot more than I will paying for way overpriced food. Four stars ONLY because of the rather decent service and well prepared food. Certainly NOT for having to eat at a hi top with no tablecloth and a server station over my left shoulder. NOR four stars for the way overpriced food...However, at the same time: thanks Mom!

Yelp
I was treated to dinner here for my birthday. I had never heard of this place and it's a bit of a drive from where I live but what a good find! The restaurant isn't huge and has unique seating with some private, intimate areas. It caught me a little off guard when we pulled in because GPS took us down the road at first and then we pulled into a strip plaza. Definitely wasn't expecting it to be so nice inside. The food and service was great but I wasn't crazy about the sides, felt a little skimpy in my opinion and compared to other high end places. Overall though, great experience and I would definitely return.

Yelp
It's been awhile since I went to a steakhouse.. it's been awhile since I've gone out to eat. Service was good, the food was really good. I won't say great yet because it was good. I'll go back and try it again. However, it should stop you from trying, I'm just being conservative about it because I was didn't know the to think. 1. The sampler platter was great except for one item. 2 the escargot was amazing as well but I wish the bread came out earlier. 3. My steak was cooked fine. The sauce I ordered which was the béarnaise, it was a bit bland. I gave it a 4 star because I want to go back.. I think it can be a 5.

Yelp
Always have a great experience at E&E. The staff and service is beyond compare. Always great food.

Yelp
Have been to E&E Stakeout several times and never leave disappointed. Last week I met a client there for lunch. Enjoy a fantastic cup of French Onion soup before a lunch special of steak, potatoes and red wine. Everything was delicious. Service was good and the dining room is semi-elegant and relaxed.

Yelp
Mother's Day was great. No issues on rolls and excellent oil mix I personally loved. I enjoyed my medium rare 8 rack lamb, my daughter and future son in law enjoyed the steak and the chowder was Awesome. My wife the guest of honor also Loved the steak and chowder!!We got TWO not one desert specials to go, not telling you since you can check what the Mothers Day was in the menu in line! Service was great along with food. Being life long Largo resident I remember when this establishment started and where it is Today. For those picky on prices this is not a heat and serve or left over restaurant you wait for your meal which is fresh and specially made and that's why it has existed so long.
google avatar

Jonathan A.

Yelp
I really like this place. It's nice and dim and quaint inside. Perfect for dads on Father's Day or any day where a steak is called for...which is always. The prices are reasonable. It definitely feels a little fancier than it costs. They've got a full bar and many drink options and their seafood is topnotch. The service is very friendly and as fast as home cooking can be. Definitely a recommended place for me.

Yelp
LORD HAVE MERCY. I am from out-of state but visit Florida often, and this is by far the BEST meal I ever remember having here... I came here with my parents and my husband to celebrate my mom's retirement. We started with steak tartare which was on the "specials" menu and it was pretty good! I appreciated that they put the "toppings" (onions, pickles, capers) on the side, instead of mixed into the tartare. I also ordered the french onion soup to start with and it was excellent! It had a different flavor than I'm used to for french onion soup, but I loved it. For my entree, I got the 9oz filet mignon (medium-rare). It came out cooked PERFECTLY. It was juicy, tender and the flavor was unbelievable. It wasn't over or under seasoned but just right. There's nothing that could possibly make this steak any better! For dessert, we all shared the creme brûlée cheesecake off the "specials" menu. The cheesecake itself was delicious but the mango sauce was outstanding! I've never had cheesecake like this before and it was amazing. I am still daydreaming about this meal days after eating it. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!!

Yelp
Everything was Spectacular! Michelle our server, was extremely knowledgeable about everything on that menu and delivered top notch very relaxed service. The Osobuco fell off the bone and was absolutely perfect. The twin lobster tails and 6oz fillet were both so tender, there was almost no effort to cut and enjoy them. Absolutely fabulous, plentiful meal. Didn't get to the desserts but they looked equally delicious! We'll be back. 100% recommend E&E!!!

Yelp
Lovely restaurant with a wonderful intimate setting that is perfect date nights or any special occasion. I took my girlfriend here for our anniversary & everything was top notch! The service is very friendly, knowledgeable, & accommodating. My girlfriend has a dairy allergy & our server helped make sure nothing she ordered had any contact with dairy, down to the croutons on her salad! Their fish dishes are amazing & fresh, & their steaks are cooked to perfection! They also have a Chef's menu that changes regularly so there's always something new to try when you come. As for the prices they aren't cheap but you definitely get your money's worth. They do have a lunch menu & an early dinner menu that is affordable & budget friendly.
google avatar

April M.

Yelp
We were a party of 4. I ordered the escargot, which was very good. Had shrimp Greco for dinner with a side of loaded mash potatoes. All very fresh and good. My husband and our friend ordered the porkchop which was the star of the show! So juicy and moist. Dessert was zepoles/beignets. OMG SO GOOD! Great service as well. Very friendly. A definite go again!

Yelp
Wow...just WOW! Phenomenal. 10 stars. So well run. Everyone is on their game here. Una, our server was impeccable. Enjoyed the Kokopelli's margarita & Old fashioned cocktails. Spot on. Ordered the 6oz Filet & Blue crab cake. Cooked perfectly. Taste off the charts. (Esp loved the mushroom marsala sauce.) And also the Delmonico steak. Again, off the charts good. Start to finish E&E is a winner!!
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely loved everything about this place. Started by ordering a glass of wine. My husband ordered the same thing. The waiter made a point of saying if we ordered a bottle it would be cheaper and we could take home whatever is leftover. Sold! Then we ordered the corn and fish chowder to start. It was excellent. Creamy with chunks of tender fish. My husband ordered the 4 oz filet with the shrimp. He loved it. Said the steak was done exactly as requested. I ordered the shrimp el greco. Also excellent. Shrimp with olives and tomatoes on deep fried eggplant with a light cream sauce. A lot of food. Ended up taking half home to enjoy later with the leftover wine. The venue itself was cozy and warm. A great date night restaurant. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
We were driving around the area and decided to stop in for a quick lunch. The hostess was friendly and seated us in a booth in the dining room. We ordered the calamari and a couple of drinks. It came out crispy and tasted very good. For lunch I had the chicken breast sandwich and we had the chicken fajitas. The fajitas were great and a nice portion. The sandwich was also was very good and I liked the panko breadcrumbs. For a mid afternoon, this place was crowded. Service was good and staff was very friendly. We will be back for dinner sometime. Great location and plenty of parking.

Shleitha M.

Yelp
Visited for my aunt's birthday dinner. We had a pretty sizable party (9 ppl). But our needs were accommodated for each guest. The service was on point and everyone enjoyed their meal. I personally got the salmon which was cooked perfectly that is served with potatoes and vegetables medley. Definitely will be visiting again!
google avatar

Bill L.

Yelp
Been sitting in the bar for an hour Saturday night. No bread, one drink so far. Disgusting mojito, totally blaze service . Long time before I'll be back.
google avatar

Cyndy M.

Yelp
Food was fantastic. I cobbled together my meal of the appetizer Lobstercargot, a side of risotto and their side Kokopelli salad. Service was excellent and prompt. The thing that kept it from 5 stars for me was the acoustics are horrific. You can barely hear your dinner companions. Would return, but this is not the place you want to have an intimate date. :)
google avatar

Eerb G.

Yelp
Have a C rating with health department which just recently upgraded from a D. They consistently have health department issues and cannot make this place good. Beware if you come here you might get sick or asked to leave in middle of meal by health department.

Don C.

Yelp
Always love this place! Sat at the bar. Bartender is great and attentive. Had dinner and drinks. I had the filet mignon kabobs with bernaise sauce and garlic mashed potatoes. Hard to beat! My wife had the vegetable platter. She loved it. So nice to find a steak place that had something to satisfy your vegetarian significant other!

S C.

Yelp
Food is so fantastic! Today was French Onion soup, Onion Straws, & Shrimp pasta! All EXCELLENT! Also a bottle of Pinot Grigio $46, excellent as well. Served by Miss Georgia! Accompanied by wonderful patrons around the bar. What a great time!
google avatar

Peter S.

Yelp
Steak is delicious and so were the sides. Service was great, very professional. It reminded me of Bern's.

Moe H.

Yelp
The worst staff the worst food No customer service all the staff standing talking If you went to waste your money go there
google avatar

Anders N.

Yelp
The Lamb chops were amazing! The service was polite and timely. The atmosphere is wonderful for a nice dinner.
google avatar

Nathalie C.

Yelp
Excellent "chateaubriand" beef carpaccio, black Angus 1/2 lb burger, shrimp Greco and grilled salmon special. Logan & the bartender were very attentive to us. Beautiful indoor dining for business lunch or dinner date but we loved the outdoor seating.
google avatar

Cynthia F.

Yelp
Popular restaurant; must make reservations. The 4* rating is for the food and servers. The tables are close together and the noise level tends to be high. Not a relaxing experience. The food can take longer to be served than in other restaurants. But the food tends to be fresh and well seasoned and the plating is attractive. I loved the donuts dessert with raspberry sauce. This dessert was wow delicious, unlike my Carolina trout entree which was ok but not wow.
google avatar

Ali L.

Yelp
As I walked in, the ambience was very romantic with low classical music and dimmed lighting. We went there for my husband's birthday and they did not disappoint. I had the boneless short rib and my husband got a 12 ounce fillet. they're loaded mashed potatoes are absolutely delicious and everything we ate. There was very tender and cooked perfectly. I've been living here all my life, and I have never been here and the only thing that we were disappointed in is that we have not came sooner. We will be back soon. Tony was our server and he was amazing and so thoughtful.
google avatar

Melissa S.

Yelp
We continue to come to E&E, with our most recent visit just a few weeks ago. The food is always delicious and the presentation is lovely. Appetizer and entrée portions are generous. Desserts are delicious. The restaurant has a major redecorating project underway (July 2024). It will have a more coastal feel instead of the southwestern vibe it had before. During season, we recommend take away if you want a great meal, but don't want to have a long wait.
google avatar

Ashley P.

Yelp
Wonderful experience! I had the filet with rain African lobster tails. The lobster tails exceeded my expectations! So tender and flavorful! My steak was also good but the lobster stole the show. My husband had the NY Strip which was also delicious. The meals came with a generous amount of sides and bread service. Our server was fast and friendly. We were very happy with our experience. The vale was also very fair for the amount and quality of food you received. We will recommend to our friends and visitors.

Krissy W.

Yelp
We haven't been to E&E in about 2 years. We decided to have a date night and we were very disappointed in the food. The octopus was chewy, the steak was not worth the cost and had no flavor, and the grouper was very fishy. The food was just so bland overall. We ended up only taking a few bites of our food before asking for the check and leaving. We ended making reservations at another steakhouse because the food was so bad. When we are spending over $150 for a dinner we truly would expect more. Wish it was as good as it was a few years ago. As foodies, we would not recommend for the price.

Iryna B.

Yelp
This is an excellent local steakhouse. Our steaks were very juicy and flavorful! Our family loved their mashed sweet potatoes too!
google avatar

Terie R.

Yelp
First time here. Had zero expectations. It was amazing! The service and food was amazing. Had the prime rib special & it did not disappoint!

Julie N.

Yelp
Terrible service from Marissa. Overpriced for lunch. I definitely would not recommend or be back.

Lori R.

Yelp
Mother's Day made special by our excellent waiter, Tony. I asked him why he wears the patriotic tie and wrist bands. He has served our country in war and said he wears it to honor the others in his life that have served. Excellent guy! Food was superb, as always. Our #1 for great food.

Nickollet H.

Yelp
Lovely atmosphere and delicious food! Server was very helpful and made excellent recommendations!!! We look forward to returning soon.
google avatar

Callie S.

Yelp
Fantastic dinner! We had steak and lobster tails. Both were incredible. Service was wonderful. Can't recommend this place enough.
google avatar

Elizabeth G.

Yelp
Wow!!! Delicious!!! I had the Bookmaker lite, it was incredible. Tender, perfectly cooked filet medallions with the loaded mash. Hubs had the 6oz filet with sweet potato mash. His steak was also perfectly cooked. The sweet potato mash was soooo tasty. Lauren C. Our server, talked us into a Tiramisu to go. Very happy she did! Another winning choice. We loved the curves booths too. We are going back again today!
google avatar

Mark R.

Yelp
E and E is a solid spot if you're in the mood for some seafood or steak. The shrimp cocktail was phenomenal and so was the French onion soup. The crab cake was a little small and pricey for an appetizer but still pretty decent. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. For my main meal I tried the skewered tips of fillet. They were pretty average, kind of tough. I would recommend the bookkeeper steak instead! The ambience is nice and welcoming.

Yelp
Is this place any good, who knows? I called to make a reservation for 5 people. They didn't have anything early on, yet when I went on their website and looked to see if they had seating for 2 and seating for 3 low and behold, they had seating for 2 at 6:15 and seating for 3 as 6:15...guess they are bad a math??
