East Point Bistro - Review - East Point - Atlanta - The Infatuation
"This diner is where you come when you’ve got a lot of folks to feed, don’t want to go broke doing it, and want your food to taste like a church elder was watching the seasoning. It’s located in a giant parking lot next to Tri-Cities High School and serves solid breakfast and lunch all day. (Lemon pepper wings are crispy, and fried whiting has a thick, crunchy breading.) And if you’re aiming for takeout, you can walk away with a sausage biscuit and a heavily seasoned pork chop plate at the same time. For anyone who wants to hang for a minute, there’s a small front patio dotted with red umbrellas, but most people grab their food and go." - Jacinta Howard
Visited this place about a week ago. Aesthetically, the place is ok. A few tables and chairs. The restaurant is clean and quiet. Zero customer acknowledgement upon entry and silence up to the point I requested an order to dine in. I ordered the pork chop breakfast. I ordered it with eggs and grits. The grits were hot and had good texture. I asked for my to be cooked over easy and they were. The pork chop was fried exceptionally well. It was a little over salty, but still good. A gentle suggestion would be to put as much effort into the customer experience as they do the food. Overall 7/10

I came in for the first time and I had the shrimp and grits and the waffles. It was delicious. The ambience was nice and the staff delivered premier customer service and made sure I was taken care of. The best part was the quality and taste of the food for such a great price. This will be my go to brunch spot from now on!

Soooo I Hate To Leave A Bad Review At Any Black Owned Business, But Honey My Feelings Was Hurt. The Salmon Croquette Wasnt Good At All, The Sausage Tasted Cheap Like Microwaveable Even After Coming Home Cooking Them
More. I Had To Return To Restaurant As They Forgot Several Items The 1st Time & The Food Still Wasnt Appealing After… The Owner & Workers Were Really Sweet & Accommodating. I Don’t Know If They Were Having A Bad Day . But I Waited 30 Mins On Them To Open & 45 Mins For My Food. I Wasted My $30 But Again Maybe They Just Had An Off Day I Just Hate My Food Wasnt Good As It Looked Online. Bathrooms Were Clean & Vibe Was Cool

I ordered food directly through east point bistros website. Got a text message saying my food would be ready at 1:33pm arrived and restaurant was closed. I was willing to get the food another day because it’s very good but I never received a call back about this service failure now I have to dispute with bank…… unfortunately

Great stand alone breakfast spot. Was able to get served quickly and with Quality. I had the Breakfast Special, which only ran me about 8 bucks but filled me up. Eggs, turkey sausage, cheese grits, 4 pancakes and there was no crumb left. Love what the Williams’ family is doing in the community, taking care of people one plate at a time. Check out this spot.

Went to try East Point Bistro, the staff greeted us and let us know today’s specials. Order the bistro breakfast plate, w/ French toast and omg. French taste was favorable, had crispy edges, eggs were scrambled and seasoned, potatoes were sooo good.
Also ordered crab cakes, I like! Will definitely come back

I’m so glad I decided to give this place another shot! The first time I went, I wasn't thrilled with my meal, so I waited about 3 weeks later to go back, but going back turned out to be a fantastic decision! I can happily say that I’ve made it my go-to spot whenever I’m craving some delicious food! 😊
I only didnt give it a 5-star because of the first time I went there 🙃. But other than that this place is my new go-to spot.

Yelp
This is the perfect Togo breakfast spot. You don't want to sit down all the time and eat. Both my husband I demolished the food. They do get busy so order ahead, the lady who takes the order is so nice. We will be back again!

Yelp
Really glad to have this new restaurant near downtown East Point! Good quality, fresh food! Service was great. The owners are invested in ensuring their restaurant succeeds, so they love feedback.

Yelp
This business no longer accepts call in orders. I generously decided to give this business another try and order take out, but they informed me that they no longer take call in orders and that I would have to go through Uber Eats or one of those other services that add on humongous fees onto the cost of picking up an order. I had to go and place my order in person and wait and wait and wait. Pro tip, if you want to get and keep customers, I recommend that you don't jerk them around and provide consistent and good service.

Yelp
The food is hands down amazing. It's just the customer services that will piss u off. Once you call in to place an order, expect to be placed on hold and listen to the young lady conversation about everything that's going on in her life or she'll just laugh and talk with others. After 15mins of waiting, she will come back to the phone to acknowledge you.
