"This diner is where you come when you’ve got a lot of folks to feed, don’t want to go broke doing it, and want your food to taste like a church elder was watching the seasoning. It’s located in a giant parking lot next to Tri-Cities High School and serves solid breakfast and lunch all day. (Lemon pepper wings are crispy, and fried whiting has a thick, crunchy breading.) And if you’re aiming for takeout, you can walk away with a sausage biscuit and a heavily seasoned pork chop plate at the same time. For anyone who wants to hang for a minute, there’s a small front patio dotted with red umbrellas, but most people grab their food and go." - Jacinta Howard
