Great vibe. Food was okay. Service is the best. Food is served very quickly and the hostess is very nice. The location is a corner slot of great views. It was snowing when we went so it was very beautiful. We went for late lunch and it was just us so no need to reserve in advance. Food is okay. We tried the falalel platter, Israeli scotch eggs and schnitzel pita and honestly it was not the best but it was good.

The food tasted and looked as though it was the free offering on a continental economy flight. The steak was so bad we questioned whether it was steak at all. Absolute robbery at the price they charge. The service was friendly and attentive and they accommodated a large group. Granted the restaurant was empty, which after eating the food, was understandable. It reminded me a bit of food one would find at a gas station in regards to its freshness. It is scraping an extra star on account of the service alone. Which wasn’t breaking any records but was nonetheless inoffensive. Will gladly not return to “Eastwood NY”

I love this place! The food is perfect. Perfectly presented with attentive and friendly service within a space that has vinyl spun tunes and great beer. I’m going very soon.

A really nice restaurant that is very committed to outdoor and ventilated dining. The menu is a little eccentric! It's American-European-Israeli. Like Oliver Bar nearby, it can only serve spritzes, beer, and wine (no cocktails). But their spritzes are inspired. It's a cool place. Service is super friendly. The bar is excellent, and it spins music on vinyl. I can't wait to go back!

A beautiful, casual but intimate bar/restaurant. Great for those private days when you want to read a book during lunch or bring friends in the evening. Beautiful wine selection, their falafel, French fries, cauliflower pita sandwhich, hummus dishes are tasty. Would recommend.

We discovered Eastwood by accident on a recent trip to NYC. Next time we visit we will plan our trip to include Eastwood. 10 Stars! Excellent atmosphere, service, food and staff combined to leave us with a very memorable experience. Thank you!

This is a neighborhood hang. The food is bar food but that doesn’t mean it isn’t tasty just is solid food that’s simple and gets the job done when hungry, plus the drinks, location and the amazing staff take all this up to a 5. It’s a place you want to come back because it has a heart and soul - theirs are regulars, working folk, meetups that are occurring for business or friends that haven’t seen each other in sometime. One of those unique and beautiful community waterholes.

Fish sandwich is solid, have had many times before and even good for delivery. While there is no table side service, they still get the job done, albeit in a somewhat convoluted manner. Drinks are decent, would recommend for a quick meal.

New go-to bar? I think so. This bar is just what my friends and I were looking for. Something chill, cool vibes, and not too packed on a Saturday night. Plus, they have a huge vinyl collection with all of the best jams. They only serve wine and beer, but there's a lot of choices. They also have a pretty extensive food menu with a lot of great options. Get some snacks while you drink, right? I'm pretty sure they have happy hour too! Overall, this bar is great. Perfect if you're looking for something more low key with friends. The best part is, the bartenders / owners are so friendly and amazing. It was so nice getting a chance to chat with one of the owners. Really made the place that much more intimate and great.

Had brunch with Eastwood's version of huevos rancheros and a mimosa. I usually come for the fish sandwich and an ale. The menu is limited, but everything is prepared with care and delicious. Great selection of craft beers and wine. Amazing vinyl collection. I'm thankful to have Eastwood in the neighborhood.

For real..you can't fix the sound? What good is a curated vinyl collection when as soon as six people show up and converse the sound turns to noise?

Nice spot in the city! Great for some wine and some some sandwiches or Mediterranean food. Our waitress was very nice and helpful, she made the experience even better. To sit inside you will need proof of vaccination.

Cute place, not sure why it felt sort of unexpected in this area. Overall there was a good selection of both healthy and more indulgent menu items. I liked how much natural light there was. Comfortable seating options, both low top tables and bar area. There is a chess top table for those inclined to play chess! I enjoyed the Israeli scotch egg with tahini. This place didn't wow me enough to make the trek back for it, but it's a good option if you happen to be in the neighborhood.

I don't know how this place has earned so many good reviews, maybe tonight was just an "off" night for them. Usually I can find some bright spots, something to earn more than the lowest rating, but unfortunately not so. The food was really horrible. The famed "Scotch egg" was really disgusting. The chef had coated a hard boiled egg with falafel and fried it. The egg was waaay overcooked, and the falafel coating just fell off as one hard crust. I understand this is their "Israeli" version of a Scotch egg, but c'mon, this was terrible. A good Scotch egg is cooked to soft-boiled, not rubberized. The coating should cling to the egg, and the whole thing should just melt in your mouth. This was just gross. I've had ALOT of Scotch eggs in many countries actually, and this had to be the worst. The hummus was also a disaster. Runny, flavorless, almost like it got poured out of a can. I've had wonderful hummus in the Middle East, many places, and I know good hummus. This wasn't it. Not even close. I wanted a glass of red wine to go with my meal, they only had 2 choices. I realize that this may be more of a beer joint, but it's also Manhattan, people! The bartender was not the friendliest, at least not to me. And the bar stools were not comfortable. I left with a stomach ache that I'm probably gonna be dealing with all night. Clearly, I won't go back to Eastwood. Unlike the previous reviewer who suggested that you "run" there for their food, I'd suggest you do the opposite.

Love Eastwood. Have been coming here for years now. Fish and chips or fish tacos and something nice on tap. Can't go wrong. Service is always friendly and the music is always solid too.

Fantastic lunch spot in the neighborhood. It's near my work so I've eaten lunch here a few times. Love their fish tacos and chicken schnitzel. The staff is super friendly and you quickly become a regular here. Bar is great but beer and wine only.

I spent a couple hours at Eastwood on a Monday night in July, hanging out with my friends Katie B. and Alex Z. I live in California, while Katie lives in the Lower East Side, and I was happy to visit this neighborhood bar after getting dinner nearby. It was a cute place, small and cozy with hip but homey furnishings. There was bar seating as well as several tables. There seems to be food available, but no table service--I think you get it from the kitchen window. We walked in just before 10:00 and left around midnight. It was pretty bustling when we arrived, but we were able to get a table without difficulty. I'm guessing it gets busier on nights that aren't Monday. The bartender was friendly and efficient. Eastwood is beer and wine only, so I guess he didn't have to stand there mixing up cocktails. There were eight beers on draft--five from New York, and one each from New Jersey, Rhod Island, and Texas. I feel like I rarely see a beer list that isn't dominated by California IPAs (this is true even in like, Seattle or Toronto), so that was nice. I also liked that every beer on the list was a different type, so there was basically a house choice for each category. I tried the Carton B.D.G. saison and the Finback People Power IPA. They were both great. I also stole a taste of Katie's rosé sangria, which was okay. I had a great time at Eastwood. Tasty draft beers, warm atmosphere--really, what's not to like? It reminded me of a few of my go-to beer bars at home, and I'm certain I'd visit often if I lived in the neighborhood.

Do you want to know why people love New York? It's not the smell of hot garbage in the summer, the homeless men that harass our wives, or the cost of living. And it's certainly not because of the size of our apartments. It's because we have places like Eastwood that are essentially extensions of our living space. When the sun is shining, the windows are open, and a breeze is flowing through, I could hang out at Eastwood all day long...or at least until I drink too much and either they or my wife tells me it's time to go home. The music is good, the regulars and bartenders are friendly, and their happy hour is just about perfect: BOGO delicious draft beers (and $2 off wine) until 8 pm. Plus I can embarrass some former friends who thought they were good at Connect 4, and there's legitimately delicious food flowing out of the window in the back. The scotch egg, the falafel, the chicken sandwich, the fries...everything tastes good, and is nice and affordable as well. Eastwood really is the perfect place to gather a few friends. Especially if your friends are like my friends, and can never arrive on time. Here everyone can just come and go as they please. Squeeze in and out of the tables, run their own tabs, buy their own food, and enjoy springtime in NYC. I look forward to when spring actually comes, and this winter of our discontent is finally over.

I came in here with my brother to grab a quick dinner one day. We stood around the front for a while, none of the staff bothered to acknowledged us, or even just say hi. Finally, we had to ask the employee at the counter how this works, for her to tell us that we have to order and pay here then they bring it to us. There wasn't really a system of seating people, so it felt really disorganized. Its a small place, so it can get quite loud if its busy, so it felt more like a bar. We ordered a lamb burger, fish and chips, and scotch egg. The lamb burger had a way too intense lamb flavor, like they didn't even bother seasoning it, and it was dry. The scotch egg was covered in fried falafel, it was also too dry. The sauce was thin and didn't do much to supplement the eggs. Not my cup of tea. The fish and chips were actually good. I've only had fish and chips a few times like years ago, so this renewed my interest in it. I need to go on a quest to try more fish and chips around the city. Anyway back to Eastwood. There were only two small pieces of fish, and too many chips. For $15 I expected way better. Oh and the chips were dry. The reason I keep mentioning the food is dry is because we weren't even given glasses of water. They just dropped off the food on our table and never bothered to check up on us or care if we have drinks. The owner or manager also didn't even acknowledge us as we were leaving. For such a trendy hip place, its strange that they don't care so much about their food or their customers. This is probably an okay place if you're just coming in for a drink with friends. It does seem to get crowded on weekends or happy hour. I don't recommend this place if you're looking for good food. It's overpriced and you could find better places if you walked a few more minutes. Its a nicely decorated and cozy place, its just a shame that the staff don't care about anything.

I went in there the other night and got dinner with my family and I complained about how cold the food was the owner walked over to me yelled at me and told me to get out of his bar I could smell alcohol on his breath very unprofessional very upsetting for a business in Solon

They have a great beer selection and the bartender is a cool guy. Get there on the early side to take advantage of happy hour and snag a table. I didn't have any of the food, but it was all reasonably priced and smelled delicious. My bud said the burger was really good, and I believe him. They also serve schnitzel!

Friendly and helpful staff, great happy hour until 8pm (BOGO drafts and $2 off a glass of wine list). Food: Great food selection, (a little salty for my taste, but this is obviously a seafood/deep fried based joint. The saltiness pairs well with a beer). Highly recommend any fish dish, fries are great, and scotch egg was not bad (I expected it to be hot, but it was room temp). Casual ambiance, but still decently packed for a Thursday night around 7pm - all the tables were taken but we managed to grab one!

Good draughts. Good food. Every time I've come here I've had only good experiences. Some days are chill and some days are packed, but not disgustingly crowded. Usually get a seat and order drinks and food.

Cool bar to lounge around in. They have lots of board games including chess, checkers, and backgammon. They also have a huge selection of vinyl records. Unfortunately, there is no wifi for patrons and only one electric outlet. The beer selection is simple. About eight beers on draft with some cider options. Nothing rare on tap.

We needed to get a quick lunch before heading to the airport, and this place seemed to fit the bill. Just a 1 minute walk and there it was. After finding the door to enter this place, we sat in a cozy spot in the corner. The server was nice but also kind really forgetful. The place wasn't busy and it took her a while to get us water, our drink orders and even milk for my friend's coffee. The food was good. I opted for the lamb burger and have no regrets about it. The meat to bread ratio was perfect. The meat didn't fall apart. I'm a sucker for good fries. My meal was pretty darn great. There's a wide variety of things that I can't really even put in a real genre. With tacos, omelettes and burgers, everything had a middle eastern flare. I also want to say there a bar you can sit at but not sure if it's a full bar for some dranks. This is a good place to get a quick bite to eat and also seemed family friendly

Been going to Eastwood for years. I love their food - the falafel, fish sandwich, fish and chips, and kale salad are all delicious. It has a nice vibe inside and is good for groups as well as sitting at the bar for a quick bite and drink.

I was not cool enough to be in this restaurant. It had total Euro-pub vibes with a gorgeous tile floor, but played some Caribbean music... it was a total melting pot of sensations. The food was OK - I had the grilled cheese pita and chips. I'm not sure what I was expecting from a grilled cheese pita, but I was hoping for a little more than just a straight up pita with melted cheese - maybe the pita could've been toasted with an infused butter/margarine, or they could've used a flavored pita? The chips, however, were great - crunchy and salty, and, when ordered as a side, is a big enough portion to share. My friends got the fish tacos and said they were spicy, but the kale salad that was ordered for another (with chicken schnitzel) seemed to be a big hit. I can picture having a few drinks here, especially something combined with their Mexican-imported, REAL glass-bottled Coke!

I came here with my brother. He just wanted fries (or chips, as they call it here) and there was a $12 credit card minimum so I got an avocado on 7 grain bread. We got our order fairly quickly. The fries were OK, but kind of ridiculous that completely regular fries cost $6. No special seasoning or sauce. The avocado on bread ($8) was not bad, but I'm a sucker for anything avocado. I'm not sure there was any seasoning on the avocado other than salt and pepper, but sometimes simple is good. I thought the bread tasted kind of stale though. It was kind of empty when we came (only one couple was here) and it has a nice, cozy feel. I wouldn't mind coming back to dine in and try other menu items. My brother tells me the fish and chips here are amazing.

Great neighborhood spot for a drink and a casual bite, but it's NOISY! There's a shortage of cool/fun/decent places in this particular part of LES/Seward Park that's South of Rivington and not quite Chinatown. Eastwood even has that NYC character so many of the newer bars are missing. Considering it's proximity to La Flaca and Saluggi's East, it's a welcomed surprise in the neighborhood. This place is perfect for a drink. They serve freshly made food from an order window. It's more of a Vegetarian with optional protein add ones like Salmon, Chicken or Eggs. Way better than pub food. KEEP IN MIND- the acoustics, it's always way too loud to stay for a long time. Also, not sure they have AC. The windows were open in the heat of summer when I went.

I couldn't agree more with the other 5-star reviews here. Eastwood is quintessential neighborhood place -- you go here and you just feel so at home. Everyone is just so relaxed and friendly. The beers/drinks are excellent; they have a really wide, interesting selection that switches pretty regularly. What I love is that they don't have just 1 lager and then 6 IPAs to be ~hipster~, they have gosés and stouts and radlers and what-have-you. Their wine selection is also really great. Food has, of course, already been spoken for, but I love getting their grilled cheese pita plus a tomato. All the music is played on a record player, and the records selected are beautiful. Such a great place with wonderful people.

I have visited Eastwood on more than one occasion, the other three times I visited I had pleasant experiences. But because of today's horrible experience, this has to be my last unless the owner or manager does a better job of overseeing how fresh the ingredients are and especially gets rid of the lazy and RUDE cooks that were there at lunchtime today. I went in for the falafel sandwich that 'comes' with fries, I asked for added avocado. The lazy cook, cut up half an avocado and put in a separate box from the falafel, then proceeds to put cold fries that were laying in a bowl on the counter onto the sandwich. He wraps it up and puts in a brown paper bag. I unwrap the sandwich, take a look and ask where are the rest of the fries. (There were 5 fries.) He rudely tells me 'that's it, no more'. I ask to see the guy who took my order/payment, he comes back tells the 'cook' something, who then gets the remainder of the fries sitting in a bowl pours them into a box, and hands it to the guy to put in my bag. I look in the bag, I noted that there were no utensils, no ketchup, I had to ask for it. Fries were not fresh. Worst part was yet to come: When I get back to my office to have my lunch, I unwrap open it up and see that the falafel was hard, cold, I got one slice of tomato (the butt of the tomato) (my pet peeve) and very little cabbage. How much energy would it have taken to put the avocado in to the sandwich for the customer?? I paid 13 dollars for this, and I have to say that I am thoroughly disgusted. I walked about 5 blocks to Eastwood since I work in the neighborhood and did not have the energy of wasting more of my time with this place. Instead I decided to write the review. I hope the powers that be can read my review and do something. I went there at about 1:15pm today. (Friday) I always like to support my local small business owner, but this was not acceptable. Disappointed.

First of all, it is extremely hard to find the entrance but once you're inside you're in for a treat. The entrance is on the side on Clinton Street so don't be like me and walk around the restaurant twice before figuring out where the door is (and there are windows all around so everyone inside can see you as you struggle to figure out how to get inside). The interior really simple and quaint. It's really chill and minimal. If you come for lunch, the menu is limited but they have really yummy options. My boyfriend ordered the falafel sandwich which he loved. The falafel was very fresh and crunchy and it was a flatter cake shape rather than round like it usually is. I had the fish and chips and it came with 2 pieces of fish. The fish was crispy and I normally hate tartar sauce but this sauce was pretty okay. Both dishes came with fries that were seasoned really well, though they could have been crunchier. And all this great food came out to just $20! Good service too. I would definitely love to come back and try their other dishes.

Eastwood has a casual, half-bar/half-restaurant vibe to it that's inviting, cozy, and friendly. Don't come here expecting a dive bar. Instead, come for good beer, wine, and some limited but well done food options. The first time I came here late at night to catch up with friends over beers. Eastwood is a great environment for this. It's not a loud bar where you won't be able to hear any conversation, but it's also not empty or dingy. Prices are reasonable at about $7 for a tall glass of beer. The second time I came here was around lunch for a small bite. The place was a perfect break from the outside heat with its large open windows and natural light. They were still offering their brunch menu, which features items like French toast and an Israeli breakfast. We chose to get the Israeli scotch eggs, grilled cheese pita, and fish tacos. ISRAELI SCOTCH EGGS ($4): These are unlike any Scotch eggs I've had before, but I surprisingly enjoyed them. For one, they're a good vegetarian version of the dish. Instead of being encased in fried ground meat, these eggs are surrounded by crispy fried falafel filling. The eggs are hard-boiled rather than soft-boiled, but that seems to work better with the falafel casing. A side of tahini comes with the eggs, providing a creamy dipping sauce. GRILLED CHEESE PITA ($6): SO. Good. It's exactly what it sounds like: a ton of cheese stuffed inside pita bread and grilled til it's ooey gooey perfection. My suggestion is to get it with regular white pita instead of the wheat one. The cheese is Gruyere so it's a bit stinky, but it makes for an amazing and simple grilled cheese. FISH TACOS ($12 for 2 tacos, orange juice or mimosa included): I didn't try any of these, but they looked great! They come as giant, battered pieces of fish inside tortillas served with guacamole, lime, cilantro, onions, cabbage slaw, and a light creamy sauce. Overall: I kind of wish they offered more drink selections, perhaps a couple cocktails, but they may be working on their alcohol license. For now, the food is tasty, the service is friendly, and it's a great neighborhood place to hang out.

Love the little cafe~ I really like how the corner restaurant has transparent glass windows/wall. natural sunlight is the best way to go and it conserves energy! lol we came here for brunch and i went for a healthier option: the kale salad and i added the scotch eggs on the side. really enjoyed it! decent portion size and tasted very refreshing on a summer day. i tried my first scotch egg there and i liked it! now if the egg yolk is slightly runny, that would really do it for me haha my bf got the fish tacos. yuuuummm perfectly crispy fried fish. the sauce that was drizzled on top went great with the tacos! it might only be 2 per order but they sure are filling! would def return for some fish tacos! i really like the vibe at eastwood. it's almost like a picnic indoor kinda feel lol looking forward to trying other stuff on the menu!

I've hesitated for so long to write a review of this place and it really pains me to give this place 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 stars. Read on to find out why. I would have to say that generally this place has solid good food (I love their kale salad, cauliflower pita, scotch egg and pretty much everything else on the menu.) and very good beer (They seem to always have a sour on tap.). They also have mulled wine in the winter. In addition, they also have a great happy hour that doesn't end until 8pm. Buy one beer, get one free and they'll give you a token so they can keep track of your BOGO special. And the reason I have hesitated to write this review is because despite the fact I live literally a stone's throw away and could easily spend all my disposable cash here, I find the place to be rather homogeneous and likely racist towards certain persons of color. I do not support this kind of behavior at all and I will not tolerate or give my money to businesses that have this kind of attitude. On any given night, if you peer into the windows here, you will find a sea of white people with a few tokenized fill in the blank persons of color here. And I find this very disturbing. I have also found that I do not get the same friendly treatment as compared to white folk. I am not asking you to kiss my ass, but I do expect you to be hospitable and inviting. From the owner down to the bartender, I find that this place doesn't seem to want Asians in their establishment. And to be truthful, this bar is on the outskirts of Chinatown and gentrification is happening. I can understand if you have some issues with stinky garbage in the summer, people shouting at each other when it is not necessary, and eating strange foods like duck feet or pig intestines. I have trouble with all of these issues also. But the reality is is that you are a hipster bar in a part of town that historically has been an enclave of immigrants and poor people. And to be fair, definitely do not judge a book by its cover. Yes, I am a chink (or gook or whatever derogatory noun you would like to use), but my pockets are also fairly deep and my social network(s) wide. I could spend a lot more money here, but given my social experiments with your business for the past 3 years, I only choose to come here out of last resort. You're a solid eating and drinking establishment, but you could definitely work on your social equity angle. And maybe then, I'll think about being a regular here.

New business which only serves fish or falafel sandwiches and they still have a few kinks to work out. They have a gorgeous seating area which isn't open to the public until the bar opens....that could be awhile and they're just missing out on a lot of business. I went with the intention of sitting in and enjoying a nice, simple dinner, but couldn't do that. Luckily we scored the last three pieces of fish and went home to try it out. They put a lot of effort into putting the sandwiches together. Everything is made to order, except the fries. They bread the fish and they fry the falafel when you order it. They toast the bread and the pita while the fish is frying and everything is essentially as fresh as can be. The downside to that is that it took us almost 20 minutes to get our order and we only ordered 4 things. They don't refry the fries, so they were cold and soggy. With that said, the sandwich was good. Small and pricey, but decent. The fish was fresh and tasted good, but it didn't blow me away. The staff is super friendly and you can tell they're really passionate and excited about their new venture, but they have to learn to make the food faster, pay a little more attention to detail (we had to ask for our change) and just overall work out the kinks. I'll give this place another try as they were only three days into the business and then I'll make my final decision.

Unfriedly akwardly 'attitudy' bartender and just unfriedly not caring bus boy. Strange system, no waiters- need to go to a different place to order food. The place has a potential, but not very busy on a Friday night, that's very telling. PS lots of garlic in a hummus platter dish, my boyfriend is refusing to kiss me for the next couple of days because my breath reminds him of a Turkish snake charmer.

When some friends of ours suggested having game night at a bar I was skeptical. Surely, they would kick us out for taking up a whole table for 3+ hrs on a friday night playing a game of settlers. Surprisingly, they didn't! We were able to play in peace (our party ordered lots of beer) and had a great time. There was also ample parking in the area, which is a rarity and a huge plus! I also observed some other people's plates and the food looks quite delicious here!

This Is a real find. I came here for drinks last week and saw the menu, vowing to come back. I wanted to try the lam burger. Today I came for lunch with my wife. OMG the food is fabulous-especially the kale salad. Lots of great pita. Great ambiance and bar. Friendly owner Sivan. They play lps instead of digital music. The chocolate pita dessert was delish. Try it- you'll love it.

Buy one get one free beer is a plus. Some wines are $2 off. Very lit spacious area. Good for a light snack and casual convos. I got the kale salad and falafel which were good but salad game is strong in NYC so 3/5. Food is good but the price is great - especially for beers.

Stopped by for lunch. The chicken was really good and well prepared with seasoning. I really thought the touch of humus with the fried chicken in a pita was Tasty. The side cauliflower was really good. The choices were slightly limited, but I would stop by again.

As I become more entrenched in this area of Lower East Side, it's places like Eastwood that make the 'hood what it is. A beautiful, somewhat untouched area of Lower Manhattan that seems to have slipped the mind of big developers and retains a chill, early Williamsburg vibe (pre-rezoning and Apple store). Eastwood is a locals bar in every sense of the word. The bartenders know all the neighbors, and even know the realtors that represent buyers and sellers in the East River and Hillman coops down on Grand Street. There's even a beer stein on a shelf behind the bar that belongs to a regular, and when he's graced their presence, it's washed and filled with the adult beverage of his choice. It's a small town bar nestled inside one of the most famous neighborhoods in the world. And it's awesome. Stop in for a glass of wine, pint of beer, or some upscale bar food and enjoy the muted colors, incredible vinyl playlist, and friendly staff. If you live in the area, it's very much a clubhouse of patrons who live in the immediate proximity, so it's a great way to get to know your community. This is a rare kind of bar in New York - embrace it!

This is my go-to neighborhood place to bring friends, family and anyone who enjoys unpretentious, imaginative food served by friendly people in a laid-back atmosphere. The kale salad is always super-fresh, and I rarely pass up an opportunity to order the Israeli Scotch Egg - a hardboiled egg encased in falafel, accompanied by a delish tahini dipping sauce. The service is always friendly and the music low-key and lush. I can't wait to visit their new bar, The Dancer, when it opens a few doors down. Long live Eastwood!

The place is cozy with great ambiance. The food is decent...the falafel was flavorful but a tad burnt. Overall not a bad experienced though slightly overpriced.

Absolutely delicious. Holistically a wonderful experience. Most importantly, you HAVE TO get the Israeli Scotch Egg! Also, the owner takes care of you with such charm and one-on-one attentiveness. The space itself is memorable, which I give high praise for considering the breadth of 'instagramable spaces' in nyc. It's warm and inviting, good records are playing, the tile floor and lighting fixtures and wood tables... it's all so good. And then the food is just excellent. Definitely make a stop here.

The bar is just wine and beer but the choices are decent albeit limited. You order food from the doorway to the kitchen yourself and they deliver the orders to you. The food is casual but top notch quality. Portions are generous and tasty. I am not sure if they have a/c so you'll likely be dining el fresco in the summer but it's a chill place to hang out with a friend or two. Not a place for large crowds. Their salads are pretty amazing.

Cool place in a fun little area between the Lower East Side and Two Bridges. The menu looks good, but I have only been in for beer. Frankly, I was a little disappointed in the offering. I don't have a whole lot more to say about this place unfortunately, and will update my review after my next visit.

This is based only on the food, nothing else. I went to this place for the first time when I moved to the neighborhood and was excited about it. But when we got our food, it was a disappointment. The food in general was ok, not more but the worst was the salad. it was cold, in the sense that it sat in the fridge for a day or two. It took me 6 moths but I decided to give it another chance, I really wanted to like this place, so I ordered the schnitzel with fries and Israeli salad. The fries were salty, the schnitzel was over fried, a bit burnet and dry and the salad, well, it seems like it was the same one from last time. Sorry, if you can't make a fresh Israeli salad, maybe you should take it off your menu.

Super yummy place! Went here for the first time today for lunch, boyfriend got the chicken schnitzel and I got the falafel plate. We also shared an Israeli scotch egg. Everything was really tasty and only $14 per entree including freshly squeezed OJ or mimosa. Falafel was legit (and I've had falafel in Israel)... Would definitely recommend!

Great beer and the bar food is excellent. Limited or no desert options, no coffee. The fish options are fresh and marked priced. Don't pass it up if you're on the LES!)

Today is my first time ordering take out from this place, it will also be my last time. I ordered a schnitzel pita, when I unwrap the package, I already loss my appetite. They put all the chips/fries together with the breaded chicken in the pita bread. Now I have to take out all the fries and put it on the napkin in order for me to eat my sandwich. Most of the place I ordered take out from, they will separate the fries/chips or at least gave me a paper plate. The restaurant just wrap everything together in aluminum foil. I take a bite on the sandwich, the chicken was so dried, it cut my gums. I took a couple of bites, still have not see any sauce or hummus. The chicken have no flavor at all. Waste of my $18 and change, end up throwing 2/3 of my food. I would not take my chance to try it out in the restaurant.
