"Easy’s was once a pop-up in Chinatown that served truly fantastic burgers out of a take-out window. They didn’t last too long (Lasa opened up in the same space), but now Easy’s is back, this time as a fancied-up diner inside the Beverly Center. In a corner on the sixth floor, Easy’s is certainly better than most other places inside malls, but it’s also nothing particularly special. There’s a big menu that runs from donut crumb French toast and crawfish pappardelle to burgers, and while everything we’ve tried here is solid, the magic we felt and tasted at the original spot is nowhere to be found. But, if you want to stop for a casual meal while you’re waiting for the Genius Bar people to fix your phone, this is probably the best place in the mall to do it." - Jess Basser Sanders
"The Beverly Center hasn’t had a restaurant like this in, well, maybe ever. This is Easy’s, a sprawling neo-diner done with vintage touches and some of the best mid-city views in Los Angeles, sweeping from the Hollywood Hills to Downtown and beyond. But really, all eyes are going to be on the burger. Easy’s is the work of restaurateur Jeremy Fall (Nighthawk, Tinfoil), and comes as a full realization of the burger-specific pop-up he ran ages ago down in Chinatown’s Far East Plaza with Alvin Cailan. A version of that burger still sits font and center but now there’s a whole restaurant wrapping the menu, complete with Formica tabletops, vintage View-Finders stuffed with click-through images of Easy’s menu items, and a full bar.
