"It’s all about the sharing economy here, where small plates rule the roost. The beer list is vast and the wine selection surprises with lesser known finds. Small-batch charcuterie and whole animal butchery are passions of the chef, so the menu is meat-driven, but right sizing keeps portions in check. The carte is whimsically categorized so while 'bready things' bring a summer tomato tartine with ricotta, 'beasty things' unveil a cotechino burger enriched with tomato aïoli and melted cheese. Seal the deal with 'sweet things' like lemon-scented ricotta donuts." - The MICHELIN Guide

Absolutely love this place. Small, intimate, interesting design/decor. Our server Brian was one of the nicest waiters ever. There's a free jukebox in the back. All their drinks were delicious, try the one with lavender, it's like a summer witch elixir. Everything we ordered was ON POINT ! Flavor combinations were perfect. We highly recommend this restaurant, and wish we were not just visiting so we could come back again and again. Guess there will be more DC trips in our future.

Came in around 10:15 last night quite hungry after a long day. We’ve gotten Uber Eats from here before with pretty good success so we thought it might be a good option. Service was extremely slow but was willing to overlook somewhat because I think they were just under staffed. Bar tender in particular was running around like crazy. When we finally got our food I was served undercooked chicken. No excuse. Worst still I had to ask them twice to take it off the check. Won’t be back.

I tried the pork belly burger with the hash brown buns and was expecting something more. It had pretty good flavor, but the hash brown bun tasted like it was fried in the same oil as there other items. It just took on too many other flavors and no longer tasted like a hash brown. I'd go back, but avoid the hash brown burger.

The burger was great, best tater tots I've had. Loved the atmosphere. Great craft beer selection. Free juke box.

Small and cozy restaurant/bar, with a bit of retro flair to it. Amongst the first things noticed when entering is that the entire left wall is covered in abstract art made with cassette tapes of the 80s and 90s. It's an endearing feature. The food is very heavily oriented towards meat, and boy, do they deliver on that front. Many different cuts of beef, pork, game, and even multiple pate' styles. The majority of dishes seemed to be tapas style, so can be shared amidst a couple or a few people. I highly recommend the prosciutto wrapped dates, which are an excellent combination of sweet, salty and savory. One of my dining partners also had a nicely cooked octopus tentacle cooked in a type of cream reduction...very elegant but not overly pricey or even reminiscent of a high end dining experience. Those I was eating with were all big on craft beer, so we didn't order any mixed drinks, with the exception of one...from what she said, it was quite good. The beer selection however, didn't disappoint. There was a large variety, and all appeared to be picked specifically to pair well with certain types of meat. Overall, nice little dining spot. We came for an early dinner, so it wasn't too busy. This strikes me as a cool place to have a light dinner before going out later for drinks.

Got the groundwell vegan burger and loved it! French fries are amazing and amazing choice of draught beer.

Eatbar is probably a better happy hour spot opposed to dinner. It's self-seating - and the venue is modern. Service was a bit slow, but on no fault to the staff - the bartenders was also serving the tables, this is something management should reevaluate based on my visit. Food was good, but portions are small (the fries especially were perplexingly small). I'd go back for happy hour but not for a meal.

Sort of a small plates burger place. Excellent avocado fries. I had The Cure w/out the apple relish. I loved it. My wife raved about the Pimento Burger. I had a few bites as well -- fantastic. Nonalcoholic drinks are cans, no fountain drinks.
