My husband and I LOVE BBQ. We are so glad we found this place and it was absolutely delicious. The curry cauliflower is amazing. The chicken was fantastic. Definitely a most try when visiting Key West.

Hidden Gem! After arriving in Key West on the Key West Express we popped in for lunch and a beer. Hubby had the pulled pork sandwich and I had Jerk chicken with the carrots. Everything was excellent, don't let the habanero barbecue sauce scare you it has a slight 'bite', not hot and delicious. The carrots were like carrot fries that were the star in my opinion. A table next to us had the Max and Cheese that looked fantastic as well.

Eaton Good is a gem, the food is amazing and the owners are incredible nice people. My family was blown away by the flavors here, everything from the bbq, pulled pork, the sauce we loved them all. After we dine, my 14 years old son spoke to the owners and told he’d be back because that was the best meat he’d ever had. Keep it up Eaton Good, we’ll be back in October.

Split a half chicken, a half a pound of pulled pork, and four sides with a buddy. It was a ton of food and everything was excellent and full of flavor. Highlights for me were the chicken and roasted carrots. Amazing quality at a great value with top notch service. We saw other customers with sandwiches that looked phenomenal. Can’t wait to go back and try more menu items.

We arrived kinda late so all the best stuff was gone. The brisket was still amazing. But skip the cole slaw, it's super salty. The sitting is outside so could be how and the flies are a bit of a problem too.

Delicious 1/2 chicken, Cuban, Mac and cheese and potato salad - maybe better than Grandma’s. Other meats I was interested in - brisket and pork. Super nice staff and owners. Go here fast -

Food we tried was great! Cuban sandwich, Italian sandwich, pulled pork, coleslaw, grilled cauliflower with nice sauce . We were pleased with food and service.

Eaton good is eatin' good. The guy has a great energy. Someone said he didn't charge for a side and he was like "oh shucks," with a snap. He runs out all the food too. And noticed someone was done and offered to wrap it out for him. There's no tables inside and maybe 8 outside. 2 of the tables are very wobbly. They have a bunch of meats and sides, including chicken and Mac cheese. Both chicken and mac and cheese were great! I tried to get every bite. This is my favorite lunch spot in key west. I tell everyone I can about it! The food is just so good and you can tell a lot of love goes into making it. Everything I have tried so far has been great. The Italian sub is spectacular! It's everything an Italian sub should be and the bread is toasted to perfection. I also love love LOVE the roasted carrots side... and I don't even love carrots typically! But they make them so good here. The chicken (I get it with the jerk seasoning) is perfectly cooked, moist and packed with flavor. The only thing I don't love about this place is there's no indoor seating so you have to deal with the chickens lol but other than that it's worth being watched by them while I eat. The staff is very friendly every single time.

Food was incredible, everything was amazing, the curry cauliflower is a must try and anything on the homemade focaccia will be incredible.

I stopped here today and unfortunately stubbed my toe badly on way in! I can't say enough about how wonderful the staff was! Helping me going above and beyond! I also got a sandwich which was amazingly delicious!!!

What a gem. Stopped in for lunch. Ordered the wood fired half Jerk chicken, ginger lime coleslaw and Caribbean curry cauliflower. The jerk seasoning was super! Toned down a bit from other I've had but the wood smoked cooking made the chicken moist and delicious. The slaw had a small punch and the cauliflower had toasted chickpeas, golden raisins, curry yogurt and cilantro. So many tastebuds were activated. All served with compostable fork and knife. We loved this place.

Cool spot in an old gas station building. Outdoor seating only but the Turkey Club is worth it. The house made focaccia bread was made perfectly. And the 7 cheese Mac and cheese side paired well with the sandwich.

Went to this place on vacation, and they had some of the best food in the city. Ribs were perfectly seasoned, the chicken was juicy and tasty, and the Mac and cheese was good. Customer service was A+. Overall great experience

The food was so damn good! We had Mac and cheese, jerk chicken, roasted carrots. And we tried the Buffalo Chicken sandwhich If you have trouble sleeping you won't after this meal. Don't skip!

I would best describe this as barbecue with a Caribbean flare. The food was filling, but light in your stomach, unlike traditional barbecue, which is nice given the unrelenting heat and humidity of Key West. There's plenty of outdoor seating and a handful of roosters and chickens to keep you company as well while you eat. The owner, or at least the gentleman behind the counter who seemed very much in charge, was such a nice guy! He was so personable and friendly! He even ended up giving us a giant cookie to try! The value for the amount of food to get to the price is really very good too!

Came here for Wing Wednesday, $1 smoked wings. They were very good, my favorite were the sweet Chili but the BBQ wings were good too. My friend said they liked the Buffalo wings as well. The host greeted us as soon as we walked in and took our order quickly. They have outside seating with a covered patio where you can mingle with the local chickens and roosters. Will definitely try this place out again and see what the rest of their menu offers.

We came across this place by accident. Their backup smoker in the back caught my husbands eye while we were on the road and he's like we gotta go try it. Damnnn. Every app was so different than what we're used to but in the best way. Each appetizer had an Asian kick to it. Definitely will be taking this back as culinary inspiration in my homemade dishes when we get back from vacation! Excellent!! Service was excellent. As for the ambiance, we ate lunch outside next to roosters watching us eat our roasted chicken.

Found this gem for dinner... and LOVED IT! We got so many items to try, I got the banh mi which I was craving and luckily they had it and it could easily be shared with two people . The sides creative and tasty, the best were the carrots, potato salad, and curried cauliflower. Went back for breakfast as well and so far best coffee I have found on the island, I got a latte and iced Vietnamese as well the biggest problem I see with certain shops is the espresso is either to sour or bitter which means they aren't dialing in properly, this espresso smooth and balanced! The pain au chocolate was good and my bacon egg and cheese on a roll such a nice start. Definitely recommend and will be back!!

Yup, you can believe the reviews. We had the ribs with mango scotch bonnet sauce and it was perfect. The Mac and cheese was awesome and chocolate chip cookies was rich and gooey delish. A must stop and eat!

The food here was amazing. Staff were friendly and so helpful and the patio was delightful. Will definitely go back next time we are in Key West.

Amazing service and recommendations. Food, some of the best in Soflo. No kidding Highly recommend the mac n cheese, curry roasted cauliflower. We order the roaster 1/2 chicken meal and pulled pork meal, great taste and big servings. I highly recommend while in Key West.

Ridiculously expensive for small quantity of food. Ordered brisket and burnt ends, supposed to came with a side, but was charged $5 each for our sides. Total bill was $45 for 4 burnt ends, 2 slices of brisket (which of course has fatty parts not edible) and a scoop each of mac & cheese. I know everything in Key West is expensive, but for food served with plastic silverware in a total to go atmosphere, no table service, water, anything. You sit at outside built in picnic tables and clear your own. Which is fine, but the food needs to be outstanding for the price with no atmosphere. Heck I paid less for lobster Benedict at Blue Haven.

I've lived in Key West for a year and had passed this place on multiple occasions. It never came up in conversations so hadn't even known what kind of food it offered, but man--happy I stopped in! I had the banh mi sandwich and it was such a delight. Huge--with pickled veggies, ample meat, and all on a delicious focaccia bun. In a place that has little Vietnamese food, this was a welcome surprise. And, the focaccia-wow! I love BBQ and good bread and pastries so will be back very soon to try even more just based on this experience. No-fuss outdoor seating and for those looking to imbibe at your meal, they have canned beer, too!

All outdoor seating so if you're looking for a reprieve from the heat, pick a different place. There's about 5 tables out front. I thought the food itself was meh, lots of spices and herbs but somehow still bland, the only flavor came from the BBQ sauce but it was fairly spicy which was so unwelcome considering how hot it was. We had pulled pork, quartered chicken, potato salad, mac n cheese and coleslaw. Hated the potato salad and coleslaw. Mac was heavy but our favorite thing. We ended up throwing most of the food away. Even the cookie was just ok. Considering the price of everything I would much rather have a nice sit down dinner somewhere. We were sad to have wasted one of our vacation meals on this place.

Good barbecue in the keys is a rarity, Eaton good takes the gold metal for amazing barbecue on this small island. Coming from Texas, I was unsure what to expect from barbecue in Florida but wow Eaton good really impressed me! We all got the chicken, both jerk and citrus. Very good, jerk was definitely more flavorful. The Smokey flavor was very light, I would've preferred a little more smoke flavor but the chicken was cooked to perfection. They didn't have any dipping sauces which I would've really liked but the chicken was perfectly juicy so didn't necassarily need it; but would've been nice. The sides were amazing, curry cauliflower was my favorite. The salad wasn't worth the 10$ and a rooster on the patio made the salad spill over so had to toss it. Also it's not really kale like it's marketed as. Mac and cheese was very good but be aware it's the most expensive side so they won't give you two sides of mac which is silly given the high price tag on the menu items in general.

Fantastic Italian sandwich. I had read great things and the sandwich did not disappoint. Lots of food so you don't really need more than the sandwich.

5 stars for each of the three times we visited in a 24 hour period. We got each of the sandwiches. Italian was the most jam packed with meat with a lot of spice. We also got the jerk chicken. It's done their way. All the sides were amazing. Surprisingly the cauliflower and carrots recommended were cooked to bite perfection. The carrots tasted like sweet fries. It's perfect California food for people looking for California- esque great food.

Amazing place off the beaten path of Duval serving up super fresh eats, quick service, in a friendly atmosphere. We ordered the jerk chicken and brisket which was flavorful, moist, and pulled apart with a fork. The sides were key lime kale Caesar salad and curry cauliflower. Definitely recommend Eaton Good as a great food experience!

Food is awesome, perfect levels of spice. We had bbq brisket, Jerk chicken & burnt ends with 3 sides - mac N cheese, yummy curry cauliflower (my favorite) and good coleslaw. BBQ sauce a bit different ( kind of like spicy peanut butter - but very tasty) Everything delicious

I had the pulled pork, Mac and cheese and ginger lime slaw. 2.5 stars . The Pork, to me, was very bland. The flavors of the included sauce helped it. Pork was nice and moist however. Other than the smoked aspect, I'd like to know how the pork was prepared? What woods? Rubbed? What with? With or without binder? Hoping to be able to try the brisket at some point soon. 4 stars. Mac and cheese. Flavor was good and it's nice that it was a home style Mac. However, the amount of breadcrumb mixed into my side portion really dried out the dish. 5 stars. Ginger Lime Slaw. Flavors meshed well together. It was nice it wasn't a heavy mayo based slaw. The super thin, string like cabbage was a good change of pace. Pepper was nice, tad too much salt but didn't detract overall. Service was good. Didn't take too long to get the food. Will update when I get the brisket!

My parents and I went here in February of 2024, almost 6 months ago. My dad and I still reminisce about the coffee and talk about it about a week, (I think it was just an americano with cream...?) something about it was just so good. We might go back (from Wisconsin) just for the coffee. Highly recommend!!! I got the guava cheese croissant and it was delicious.

If you are looking for quick service but gourmet food, look no further! Eaton good is a Must visit for all Foodies. The owner/chef and staff love what they do and you can taste it in every bite.

Don't be a touron and eat touron food at touron portions/prices (with a bunch of other tourons. Get away from Duval Street. Great food . Great service. Generous portions. Great prices. Roomy/shady outdoor seating.

While the Keys may be known for fresh seafood, you may find yourself in need of some comfort food after a couple of days here. Eaton Good is just the ticket. Outstanding BBQ. I had an excellent pulled brisket sandwich with coleslaw. The meat is melt in your mouth tender, dry rubbed, heavy on the black pepper with a hint of scotch bonnet jerk style seasoning. Adds just enough kick without too much heat. Overall, an excellent BBQ sandwich. I would have liked to try the pork bánh mi sandwich as well, but it was so popular it was sold out. The mac-n-cheese is better than mom's homemade. Perfect if you have kids in tow. Outdoor casual eating with shade palms, space to park bikes. Highly recommend.

Fantastic food! The owner was so friendly and took time to explain the food to us. The chicken and pork were both fabulous! The carrots were so unique and absolutely delicious. Definitely give this place a try!

Stopped here without knowing what to expect - But holy schnikeys!!!! Best pasties we have ever had! The creme brulee pastry was insane. Staff were super friendly, and the food they were preparing for lunch looks just as tasty! Will definitely be back, love this place!!!

we ordered bbq ribs, brisket, mac and cheese and slaw. picked it up, the brisket was phenomenal, melt in your mouth, best I have had in years! bbq were soft and awesome, too hot for me but delicious, mac and cheese were good and the coleslaw was good! Looking forward to tasting their guava cheese croissant and creme brûlée pastry. I recommend

Yum! This place has the juiciest most flavorful jerk chicken I've ever had! The chicken made me a regular customer, but dang those specials don't disappoint either! The rabbit this past weekend blew my socks off (who knew rabbits were are savory as they are sweet!), and today that pastrami sandwich did not make it home before I devoured it like a wild animal. Definitely try the specials.

OMG!!! Reluctantly ordered the Italian sandwich and my wife got the 7 cheese mac and cheese. Walked home about 20 mins and it was PHENOMENAL! I've eaten a thousand sandwiches and this one was one of the best I've ever had, "juicy" and a lil spicy made on their house made focaccia bread...and, it was still amazing the next morning! Do you have any idea how good a sandwich has to be to be still be good the next day?!?!? Oh and the Mac and Cheese...easily the best I've ever had. Creamy, super cheesy, crunchy bread crumb topping! YUM!!!! Pro tip...the coleslaw isn't great but two home runs and a strike out is still an amazing day at the plate!

If there were an option to add a 6th star, I would. WOW. My boyfriend and I were scrolling through Yelp to decide where to go to dinner tonight and decided to give Eaton Good a try because we were craving some BBQ. Upon entering the cute little corner shop, we were greeted by both the owner and one of his employees. As we stood back to decide what to order we heard the owner take a call from a customer who had come in earlier but unfortunately got home and was missing part of his order, and before he even heard what the issue was he was already talking about what he could do to make it right for the customer! He offered to personally drive them their order or keep a note to make them something fresh another time and I was simply blown away. What spectacular customer service! When we stepped up to order he was great about helping us decide what we'd like best on the menu and even gave us an extra burnt end for having to wait just a few minutes for our sweet potatoes. But let me tell you, I would have waited 4 years in the desert for these sweet potatoes. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! But so was everything else. When we were halfway through our meal he came out again to bring us a cookie! He chatted with us about the rest of our trip and gave us suggestions for the rest of our meals. Such a fun experience to meet an owner of a business who loves what he does and cares so much about his customers and the service they receive!! Give this place a try you won't be sorry! Now we have a reason to come back this fall to try their breakfast when it comes out!

Eaton Good's pastries are exceptional. They are carefully crafted and delicious. I especially loved the apple and also the chocolate croissant! They are the best in Key West. Our guest loved the breakfast sandwich. Wonderful service and cool surroundings.

I'd give them a 5 but they were out of brisket. Staff was good and told me they you get there early it sells out quick. They recommended the pork and it was really good. Ambiance was not bad. Like outdoor but it's too hot this time of year and there is not much room inside.

Got the chicken & Mac and cheese & Caesar salad. IT WAS AMAZING!! The salad was so tasty 10/10, chicken was SO flavorful and delicious. Mac & cheese SO GOOD & has a kick to it. Also, the guy who owns it was truly so sweet and made the experience really great!

We've often cycled and driven passed Eaton Good. A charming atmosphere - we decided to make this a lunch destination following a visit to Eaton Bike Shop. SO GLAD WE DID. What a gem of a casual, outdoor dining restaurant. When we entered, we were greeted by the biggest and most sincere smile. He took us on a tour of the menu. The wood fired smell was mesmerizing! We both ordered the jerk chicken with ginger lime coleslaw and curry cauliflower. The jerk chicken filled our mouths with such a delicious medley of flavors....and the chicken meat.....I can only describe it as satin-like and smooth....melt in your mouth with a delicate smokey flavor! DELICIOUS! The ginger-lime coleslaw - like an oasis of fresh flavors for the mouth! I am not a big fan of curry, but SURPRISE! The curry cauliflower is AMAZING as it appears to be baked with the sprinkling of curry and a delicious topping and then the little, tiny & crunchy nuggets and little fruits - wow! Sitting outside at the little picnic tables, it felt so intimate. The way the flowering vines and pots of a variety of mature palms were positioned around the dining area......It was simply enjoyable! Do not pass up a chance to dine in or carry out from Eaton Good. You WILL be a return diner!

Place is fire! Butcher shop vibes, simple menu, brisket on the weekends. We had the whole jerk chicken with two large sides for $35. It's a great price for what ya get, and it tastes like you're in jamaica. Very solid jerk, very good mac n cheese and carrots as well. Can't wait to go back for the weekend BBQ!

This barbecue place opened in fall 2022 and has quickly become a neighborhood favorite. Chris, the head honcho, previously had a BBQ joint in New York, which earned accolades from Texas Monthly magazine, which takes its 'cue VERY seriously. Chris knows what he's doing, so much so that he's ambitious enough to vary the barbecue method and try alternatives to traditional sides. Purists needn't worry about the smoking method. To this Texan's taste, Chris's version is better than the usual. The sides are imaginative. Broccolini instead of the predictable potato salad and baked beans. He's wisely kept the mac 'n cheese, but he's secure enough in his abilities that he'll venture into different tastes; I can't wait to see what else he'll try. Atmosphere is cool: outdoor seating in this former gas station. When I was there yesterday, he played Led Zeppelin's first album over the sound system. I'll be a frequent customer. Bravo, Chris!
