Eatsa Review - Financial District - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"Eatsa serves a variety of quinoa bowls that you order from an iPad and pick up from machines. For such a soulless operation, the food is way better, and cheaper, than you might expect. Great for vegetarians and people with social anxiety disorder, not great for heavy meat-eaters or people who have trained for years to serve quinoa bowls. They also do breakfast bowls if you want to really commit to our robot-overlord future." - Taylor Abrams

Eatsa Review - Embarcadero - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"Quinoa ordered on an iPad (and delivered by machines) turns out to have more staying power than we anticipated. Eatsa does very fast, very cheap, and very good quinoa bowls perfect for a quick lunch. All the options are vegetarian and under $10." - Taylor Abrams

It's a good place to get food during your lunch break. The screens are easy to use, the service is quick and you can even order ahead through the app. You can also build your own bowl and customize the already-made. Also, the price is quite competitive.

At first I was taken aback by the all-vegetarian menu, but this place has grown on me. Awesome grain-veggie-sauce combos for less than $10, ready to eat in 2 minutes. It's also served in a weird dystopian sci-fi way with 0 human interaction, which I think is cool but take it as you will.

Good variety of vegetarian options, great concept, easy and quick to order

All vegan experience but quite delicious and a great value for your money. I bought the curry bowl for $7 which ended up tasting great even without any meat. Everything is very modern, you order on iPads (like Panera) and pick up your food in these revolving cubicles. It's hard to explain, you'll have to see for yourself!

No meat, which for me is a huge bummer, but the price and convenience of this place is incomparable! Food is tasty & very healthy. 100% machine order & pickup. Very well designed streamline with minimum interaction with staff who manage the line.

Very efficient ordering system (usually get my food within 3 minutes from ordering) and tastes good too. They got food down to a science. When you need to really fast food, but want to keep it healthy also.

Awesome concept, great tasting food. You order from a tablet, and then your food comes out of a little cubby. There's a screen on the cubby that lets you know which is yours. Salads totally customizable. I guess someone must come out to clean every so often because everything was spotless, but I didn't see a single human employee while I was there. Just wish they had some seats instead of just standing room. Would be nice if they had meat too! Update: As the place got busy eventually an employee appeared to control the line and help people use the tablets.
