"This Malden ramen shop is a spinoff of a popular market that attracted customers with its “ramen Sundays.” Now, Ebisuya Japanese Noodle House is a direct source for that same ramen, including spicy and non-spicy miso versions. Also, crowd-favorite pop-up Boston Ramen recently began hosting regular vegan ramen pop-ups in Ebisuya and also at ramen joints around the city." - Nathan Tavares, Eater Staff

"Ebisuya Noodle House is the sister spot to Ebisuya Market, a Japanese grocery store in Medford. It’s a pretty bare-bones spot with only a limited number of seating options, but the ramen’s decent. The noodles are cooked well, though the broth could use a little more depth of flavor. If we were to pick one thing to order, it would be the spicy miso bowl." - Joel Ang

"Ebisuya Noodle House, a new ramen restaurant opened by the Japanese market Ebisuya in Malden, is serving ramen during dinner hours from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The restaurant, located in the space formerly occupied by Cafe De Lulu’s, is cash only. Early Yelp reviews suggest that the ramen quality is comparable to what Ebisuya Market offers on its ramen Sundays." - Terrence Doyle

Google
I got the spicy Ramen and it was amazing! The food came out quickly and it was very tasty. There was peaceful music and it was a very nice place to just sit and eat a bowl of Ramen. The chef came out to ask how the food was. It was nice to put a face to the food

Google
Overall, the ramen was just OK — noodles had a nice bite and the flavor of the soup was good. The meat was very tender and better than most ramen shops. However, they were swimming in oil and the egg was barely even cooked. The fried chicken appetizer wasn’t much to write home about. For almost $23 (!!) for the bowl of ramen, I was expecting something better. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Google
Among the very best noodles I've ever had. Love it!

Google
This is a wonderful place!! One of my favorite ramen restaurants I’ve been to. The staff are so friendly and nice, and the interior is so cute and cozy. The food is, of course, amazing! I loved the veggie ramen, the broth is exquisite. My family liked their Shoyu ramen! We got spring rolls and fried oysters, which were also delicious. Will definitely be coming back!

Google
Great atmosphere of an authentic Japanese ramen shop. However the menu selection is a bit lacking and the broth taste is not as strong as expected. The noodle is not thin and a bit too soft to my liking. Fair price for Boston area. Table cleanliness could be improved as it was a bit sticky when resting your hand. The best food here is the Chasu don! Great pork quality and sauce! There are parking building across the street. However not a lot of seatings inside.

Google
I got the spicy miso ramen and couldn’t eat it fast enough. It was so good! The chef came out and said hi, and asked about the food. Very humble man, loved the experience.

Google
Small but mighty eatery. Family-owned and operated. The chef is so happy to prepare the dishes and smiles all the time. The ramen includes a good portion of toppings and the broth is amazing! There's only about a dozen seats in the place, so go off-hours. Make sure to order at the kiosk before sitting. Parking is hit or miss. Worth walking for!

Google
I wanted to go to zuru zuru , but I walked to a wrong restaurant. Food is ok, nothing impressive , but it’s pretty over priced. A bowl of ramen is 22 bucks.

Yelp
Came here for dinner on a Friday evening and we were lucky that this place wasn't too busy when we got here - upon leaving though a larger party had come in and since the space was small, they took up most of the seats; for that reason, I'd probably try to be flexible or come earlier. This is an order first before getting seated casual spot which suits ramen pretty well. They have a good sized menu with a variety of choices so it wasn't too hard to pick - the food also came out relatively quickly which was nice. Prices were a bit expensive honestly for the quality of food, but the ramen itself wasn't too bad so I suppose it's worth it for the occasional treat. The noodles were well cooked and the flavor wasn't too bad, I probably just wouldn't come back often given the cost. Overall, a solid choice for ramen in the Malden area. Thanks, Ebisuya!

Yelp
Instantly greeted with a polite, smile and a friendly demeanor. Price is fair considering where the economy is tanking into with inflation. Show you ramen who is a little on the salty side but made up for it with the amazing tenderness of the chashu pork. The spicy miso soup was to the liking of my date at a Japanese spice lover that leaves you not burning for more but instead satisfied.

Yelp
***Boston Ramen (Pop Up Review)*** Came here yesterday during dinner time and my review on their ramen is meh (okay). Not bad nor good. I can't stay it's one of the best I've had in MA. I have ordered Pork and Egg Ramen, while my friends ordered Spicy Miso. It was warm (not hot), undercooked noodles, salty broth, and plain for $21.50. Presentation is also very basic. Honestly, it's mediocre. I give them props for being creative and bringing in new vibes with the little door window for solo customers. Other than this, ramen was not impressive and overpriced for what they offer on their menu. Service is great and friendly staffs. However, it's not enough to come back as a returning customer. As an fyi, street parking can be challenging before 7pm. Garage across the street is also very small and can be filled up quickly.

Yelp
It's a solid 4.5/5 in our book but we always round up ;) this place is the 3rd on our list of best ramen in Boston and for the right reasons. The broth is very flavorful (we always get the spicy special miso). But it's the 3rd on our list because the eggs in the ramen was poached (I dig but my boyfriend doesn't) instead of boiled and they use shiitake mushrooms but we prefer wood ears and there's cilantro on top which is unique. And they have takoyakis as an app! (I love takoyakis always but I'm a harsh critic for em and these didn't have a lot of octopus pieces and the sauce tasted a bit interesting). This place is wicked small but it's a nice spot to stop by on a rainy day if you don't want to wait in the rain with millions of ppl to get a bowl of ramen. Ooh and you order and pay at the front before sitting down!

Yelp
I got the shoyu ramen. Price is a little hefty at $15.50, but I guess that might be closer to the standard for ramen nowadays? Meat wasn't as fatty as I liked, but still very tender and flavorful. Broth was amazingly rich and not too salty. I really liked the marinated shiitake, which added a nice umami bomb to the dish. Noodles had a nice chew.

Michele M.

Yelp
This place is small and located right behind Malden Center Station. You walk in and order, pay and find a seat. They prep your food then and there and it ends up only really taking 15 minutes. It was 18.50 for the special spicy ramen which is kind of expensive but given the economy, it's probably what every other place charges more or less. The front desk person was nice and super helpful. The spicy sauce is homemade which I found interesting and had a unique taste. The takoyaki was a little too doughy for me, but the outside was extra crispy. The soup was warm and flavorful. Overall, I think it was a solid experience with quick and easy service.

Shane H.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. Although it is small but, the interior is a cool design. Lots of anime references on the walls. The ramen is delicious and I will come back again for more!

Elena J.

Yelp
This is a small noodle house where you order and pay at the register. I got the yuzu shio ramen, and the yuzu flavor was subtle but discernible. The chashu were quite thinly sliced, which I might actually prefer over the thicker cuts, but I wish they gave more chashu for a $15+ bowl of ramen. The noodles were cooked perfectly with a slight chew to them. Next time I will try the shoyu ramen instead because the shio was a little too salty for me.

Miguel R.

Yelp
They completely changed the atmosphere of this place. They no longer have any movie posters on the walls. They put in a new "entertainment system" divider that lets you eat while watching a random show. It's a little odd to see this. This is popular in Japan now and I guess they are trying to make it a thing here in the US. They also changed the menu and made the ramen more expensive from $17 to $25 with less ingredients and poorer quality. Though the owner assured me that they will go back to the old menu in a month as this is just a temporary change. They also changed their name to "Boston Ramen." I'm assuming that they are trying to cater to more casual customers with these changes. In my opinion, they loss their identity as "Ebisuya Noodle House" with such changes. The old menu tasted way better and the pricing was much more reasonable. Alas, at the end of the day, it's a basic ramen shop. I will have to come back in a month to see if they do revert back to their old menu. Kudos to them for trying to make a change and experimenting with new styles; it just didn't work out with me. Hopefully they find their rhythm sooner than later and find success as a business. The owner still seems really upbeat and happy though!

Yelp
Flavors - 4.1/5 Textures - 4.3/5 Presentation - 4/5 Value for Money - 4/5 Would return? Yes Must-try: Spicy Miso with Whole Egg I love this humble, funky, high quality Ramen. They did a good job with the broth and flavors. Both shoyu and spicy miso were super delicious and had complex flavor. The spicy miso had a nice balance of heat and sweetness. The noodles really lacked texture, they were kind of flat and soft, but nice flavor. The egg was soft but still maintained the shape, so it was really satisfying to eat! The pork is really thin but flavorful and juicy. I wish it would've had more broth! Each ramen costs between $14-16, which is fair compared to what you get. The service is great as well.

Sharon L.

Yelp
Got to try this place which is right near the Malden T station so super accessible! The interior has a few seating places but not too big. You order at the register and they bring the food out to you. I got one of their ramens and a chicken karaage. The ramen broth was rich and delicious and the meat portions were pretty generous. I liked that it wasn't super heavy either. They also provide the spicy paste on the side so you can add as much or as little as you'd like. The chicken karaage was super good as well! Crispy on the outside and super juicy on the inside. This is a must get appetizer!! The food came out pretty quick and the service was good. Would definitely recommend!!

Cheyenne T.

Yelp
I wasn't too impressed by this noodle house. It felt inauthentic and tasted more like a Chinese version of Japanese ramen. The options are quite limited for ramen flavors, and there are a few appetizers available. I did enjoy the homemade spicy flavor that my friends ordered. I ordered the non-spicy broth and asked for chili flakes (which all Japanese restaurants usually have) and they didn't know what I was talking about. They thought I wanted to change my broth to the spicy one and said I'd have to pay more. I declined and they very kindly gave me a small dish of the spicy paste anyway. I wouldn't say I'd jump to come back here, but would give it another chance.

Fiona Z.

Yelp
I tried the shoyu ramen here with an added soft-boiled egg and asked for no bean sprouts (~$13.50+~$2.50). The noodles were fine. They weren't the wavy thick associated with instant noodles, but they weren't the straight thin kinds I love either. I didn't love having raw red onion in my broth and would probably ask for that to be left off next time, but I did appreciate the huge dollop of garlic. I polished off the shoyu broth and felt full afterward. They serve up an A-OK bowl of ramen here-- good to have this place in Malden. Unlike Zuru Zuru, they don't have tonkotsu (my favorite), but their ramen is tastier. Now here's a paragraph dedicated to my love for the egg: The soft-boiled egg was so nice and done in a way I hadn't seen before. The egg white is thin and looks barely set, but the egg yolk is the best part-- it's soft without being runny and it isn't even close to overboiled. I wouldn't even say it's a jammy texture like ramen eggs usually are; it feels much lighter. They also have self-serve water. It's a pretty small place with no room for big groups (6+ people), which is nice because sometimes you just want to eat ramen by yourself and go.

Michelle T.

Yelp
I had high hopes for this place. We came on a rainy Friday night, and it was packed. There are two couples ahead of us already waiting. We got seated fairly fast. The service is quick, which I can appreciate. I was a bit disappointed with the Ramen. The broth was not rich as I would have expected for Ramen, but rather bland. And the noodles were no better than packaged ramen unfortunately. Maybe it was an off night.

Etta C.

Yelp
Best ramen I've had in boston area, the noodles were cooked perfectly and you can tell the ingredients are good quality

Dennis G.

Yelp
I've been going there since they opened. I went in yesterday and its under new ownership. It was horrible. I ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen that I've ordered for years. It no longer has any Mushrooms, Seaweed salad, dried Seaweed, and other ingredients. It was Miso broth, Ramen, Pork and Arugula. Not to mention the price jumped from $17 to $24. P.S. They also took down all the Anime and movie posters.

Howie H.

Yelp
We stopped in here this past july for the first time. I already buy the house made noodles from Ebisuya market and thought, this should be decent. the dining area is small, about a dozen stools. we ordered gyoza for the app and two bowls of ramen. the gyoza was on par with what the rest of boston metro serves up. the ramen were good. the broths were decent. the quantity of noodles was generous. we definitely will return. parking is street.

Lein And Bein N.

Yelp
The ramen is fairly standard but the ambiance of the restaurant was nice (covered with all sorts of anime posters). Not pictured but I would highly steamed shrimp shumai. Our party had a sesame allergy and it took some coaxing to have our waiter check in with the cooking staff about allergens. FYI-- the restaurant can get quite hot on summer days with no AC so dress in cool clothing! 3/5.

Javier A.

Yelp
I find it difficult to withhold a 5-star rating from Ebisuya, given their impeccable service, ambiance perfectly suited to my taste, and outstanding value for quality. The only factor preventing a perfect score is the occasional inconsistency in their food. While it has never failed to satisfy and remains delicious, my discerning palate demands consistency. Nevertheless, I wholeheartedly recommend and will staunchly defend Ebisuya. It's a gem worthy of recognition and patronage.

Jacqui L.

Yelp
This was a fun find when my friend recommended to check out the Ebisuya Japanese Market (started from the same people I think!). We got the cold noodles since it was pretty warm out. Overall, the presentation was great and even while the dish itself was a tad salty, we enjoyed our meal! All their dishes come with the same toppings so it's just a matter of what kind of broth (or if you want broth at all) you want to try. Service was also quick and friendly. Would definitely return to try their broth-based ramen sometime!

Nhung N.

Yelp
I used to shop at Ebisuya Japanese Market when I lived in Medford so when I found out they opened up a ramen shop, I was excited. I used to buy their $5 ramen noodle at the market on the weekend. I am glad I waited until now to try their ramen because their menu have grown since their grand opening. It has expanded over the years to include more appetizers and bentos. Currently, the restaurant offered takeout. I opted for takeout delivery through Chowbus instead in person dining. I ordered the spicy miso ramen and the Shoyu ramen. The spicy miso is first and foremost not spicy. The broth is very one dimensional with little depth in flavor. I prefer the Shoyu broth over the spicy miso. There is more body to the broth. I am not a fan of the ramen noodle used here either. I prefer a thicker ramen noodles with a slightly chewy texture. Ebisuya ramen is thin and soft in texture. I feel that the portion was on the smaller size. It's perfect for a light eater but may be too small for most. The meat is thinly sliced and a bit lean. I consider the price high since you have to pay extra for a soft boiled egg and the smaller portion. My son ate his chicken bento so quickly I didn't even get to try. Let's just say it is kid approved. The fried fish was tasty. They were smaller than I expected. They were still crispy by the time I received the delivery which took quite some time. It was not oily at all, but delicious and goes well with the buttery mayonnaise on the side. I would order this again. Overall I would give Ebisuya Japanese Noodle 3.5 stars. I would rate their ramen middle-tier. It's not the best around but definitely better than many of the non-Japanese owned ramen restaurants in the area. I like that they have plenty of appetizers to select from. I would eat here again but I wouldn't put it on the list of highly recommended. Currently, this restaurant offers takeout during the pandemic. I hope to return for in person dining when things return to normal. See my pictures.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised by this small noodle house. It is definitely a hidden gem! Food: I ordered a miso ramen and it was delicious. I love the meat that came with the dish. I don't usually like the fatty chashu ramens come with, so this was perfect for me. Very lean yet tender. Spring onions were slightly blanched - so not awfully "spicy". The other toppings were fantastic too! The soup base was tasty. Noodles were were very thin and can tell they were hand made. Service: absolutely amazing! I order my food early but couldn't pick up until 20 minutes later. When I walked in, I told the owner I wanted to pay now but pick up in 20 mins. He hesitated and I apologized for the inconvenience. He said it's not a problem at all, he was thinking the noodles would be soggy so it wouldn't be the best taste. So he said he can wait until I come back to prepare it in a minute for me to pickup. This type of service is incredible! I came back 20 min and he went to prepare my noodles right away. To show my appreciation, I ate it in the car ride home (I was passenger). It was so good!! Ambiance: small cozy place! I love all of the posters of different Japanese movies and shows. This will be my new go to ramen place in Malden!

Ting G.

Yelp
so authentic! Love the spicy soup with pork meat! The egg makes it fresher and tasty!

Araxie Y.

Yelp
Tiny gem of a place hidden on Summer St Malden! It's busy. Always. For good reason too! Came in on a busy and cold Friday night, luckily found a corner for our party of 4 and got digging into some of the tastiest ramen ever. Even the sides, fried chicken and gyoza hit the spot! Love the service and ambiance, we enjoyed talking about the Japanese films and anime around us. We will definitely be returning!

Emi H.

Yelp
I went here tonight for dine in and got the regular shoyu ramen ($13) and large spicy miso ramen ($15) (see picture). Broth: flavorful, good amount of spice in the spicy miso Ramen: cooked al dente, grabs onto the broth really well Chashu: thinly sliced Overall, two delicious bowls of ramen! Btw, this place takes credit card.

Vivian D.

Yelp
Just went here today and I'm proud that Malden's becoming more inclusive to different foods. A ramen spot is very much needed and that's coming from a Malden native. All ingredients are from the Ebisuya market location a city away and today I bought and split a chicken bento box (or bento plate) with a friend. The portions are HUGE and frankly I was full before I could finish just half of the plate. (but that's also because I'm a light eater) The chicken was crispy and fresh and along came with a side of pickled cabbage, there's Japanese music playing in the background, water and utensils are supplied for you in a section of the shop. The owner who served me seemed knowledgeable towards Japanese cuisine, in a sense that he explained to me about the meal. (I'm a lover of authentic Asian cuisine). All in all, It must be said - the vibes are IMMACULATE. Overall, I'm overjoyed that this place has a feel-good vibe to it, a large portion for a reasonable price, and a loving and caring staff who's always ready to welcome you as you enter. This an honest and wholesome spot that stands out, we need more restaurants like this and less passive places like boba shops and take out spots. Truly I had a delightful experience.

Nikki T.

Yelp
I love coming here, the shoyu broth is my favorite and the price is reasonable for the size and quality of the bowl. Broth is rich and flavorful, ramen noodles are cooked perfectly with a chewy bite, if you go earlier in the day it's even fresher. I also recommend the fried chicken as an app if you have room, pork katsu is also good but I prefer the chicken. Has a light breading and very crispy. Interior is small but very authentic feeling, I love that they dont shy away from the anime music and all the movie posters. The staff is friendly and service is pretty quick, no complaints at all :)

Katherine R.

Yelp
Great authentic ramen! Both the miso ramen and spicy miso ramen were so good and the spicy miso wasn't overly spicy, which I was appreciative of. Also, I thought they did a great job packaging the food to go, so the ramen bowls are easy to enjoy at home.

Katie H.

Yelp
A ramen place like this is exactly what Malden needed--small, family-owned, authentic. It doesn't hurt that it's right in my neck of the woods, so I finally have a place to get my ramen fix! When they initially opened, we were hesitant to try it due to the expensive prices ($15 for a bowl of ramen is a lot), but they've since lowered their prices to $12, which was happy news for us. We really enjoyed the ramen too. It's rich, savory, and delicious. I got the shoyu, which had a nice smoky complexity, and my husband got the miso, which I liked even more. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and we were very happy with the amount of pork we were given. I just wish they would include at least half an egg as well but it's there as an optional side order if you want it. The restaurant itself is very small with mostly counter seating and maybe one real table, but it's meant to be casual. When we were there, it was pretty empty but I've seen it get much busier at other times. You order at the counter and pretty much serve yourself your utensils and water, but I liked it that way. The decor is simple, but clean, and I liked that the kitchen is open as well so you can watch them make your ramen. Also note that this place is cash-only. I'm very happy to have my new go-to ramen place, especially going into winter.

Alan W.

Yelp
I remember trying their ramen when they first opened and was not really impressed. I decided to give them another try and this time got the Sea Salt ramen for takeout. Definitely a lot more flavorful than what I remembered. Perfectly salted and you can taste the effort put into cooking the broth. I also really liked the texture of the noodles. The only thing that I wished was better is the Cha Shu. I feel like it wasn't seasoned enough, although it was really tender. I'm definitely going to have to come back to try the other broths. Also just noticed they sell bento boxes too! Will need to give that a try as well. There's not a lot of ramen places in Malden, so definitely give them a try if you're craving for some ramen.

Patrik D.

Yelp
Delicious with generous portions. One of my top favorites for ramen! Service was quick an easy! Small yet cozy ambiance similar to a traditional ramen shop.

Nan K.

Yelp
Love this ramen place! I had the shoyu ramen and it was amazing. The broth was packed with flavor and had depth beyond just the shoyu/soy. This ramen in other places tend to be too salty/heavy but ebisuya's is just right. The noodles are thin and wavy and are effective in grabbing onto the broth. Great chewy texture too! The fried gyozas were alright, really good dipping sauce though.

Alan C.

Yelp
Dropped by on a Sunday evening. According to sign, this place has very limited hours. Usually 12-3 and 5-8. Its a fairly small space with limited seating, max 10-12 I'd say. I recommend going max party of 3-4. You go in, order at register, CASH ONLY!, and grab your own water and utensils. Seat yourself and watch the magic happen. The shoyu has some intense umami flavors going on. Definitely strong on the bonito front contributing to the incredible soup base. Loving the soup right from start. The charsui is sliced very thin but is marinated well so it's flavorful and juicy. The noodles were also just right in terms of firmness and stands up well even immersed in soup for awhile. Everything was just right and the chefs and servers all spoke japanese as well so it helps lend a little extra bit a authenticity and legitimacy to this place. Now the only downside is the price to portion ratio. For $15, the size and amount is a little disappointing. I was actually a still bit hungry afterwards so had to take a star off. Same feelings were felt by my other eating companions. I'll definitely come back to try the spicy miso version! And will probably grab a snack afterwards.

Macdaddy Marc H.

Yelp
It's all good in the hood. Especially if you enjoy an awesome bowl of ramen @Ebisuya! Miso and Shoyu broth on-point, noodles cooked to pefection and chashu was delicious. For the quality, the price was a bargain. Looking forward to my next bowl. Service was prompt, hospitable and accurate. Enjoy!

Bill G.

Yelp
The best ramen that we have found in Boston. They have very flavorful, interesting broth that really makes the dish. My one complaint is that the ramen noodles themselves are a bit lackluster. Some local places make their own noodles, but they use the traditional packaged variety here.

Connor C.

Yelp
Cozy atmosphere, fresh noodles, and deep flavors - The spicy miso was amazing! I got the large size and was very happy with how much I got. My bowl had the ramen, 3 slices of pork, bean sports, and some spicy peppers. I do wish I had some more toppings for the $14, but I had just enough. It was super easy to order and I got my food within 10 minutes. The folks I interacted with were super nice. Everything was clean and neat The dining room is small with only a few tables / ~15 seats, but the seats did turn quickly and it wasn't too busy on a Wednesday night. I will definitely be coming back!

Michelle L.

Yelp
My go to is the cold noodle. It has a bit of spice to the dashi (I can't handle spice but it's doable) I just wish they would dilute the broth a bit.

Jillian L.

Yelp
Ebisuya's ramen dishes are absolutely wonderful and fairly priced. The Spicy Miso Ramen is my favorite with plenty of vegetables and meat - this dish is full of subsistence, flavor and is even better with a soft boiled egg (don't miss out on this). The staff is always very friendly and a pleasure to interact with. I highly recommend this place as your goto noodle spot!

Thaddeus C.

Yelp
Delicious, Fast, Clean. Great complex flavors. The ramen here is really great. This is a gem in sleepy Malden.

VietCitron T.

Yelp
Non pretentious, hearty spicy miso ramen. Friendly quick service. We'll be back. :)

Zarkie G.

Yelp
Ebisuya is an absolute hidden gem. I got the shio (sea salt) broth and my husband got the shoyu ramen both with added Char sui and a soft boiled egg and a side of fried chicken. Total came to $40. We are ramen snobs and frequently go into Cambridge/Somerville for our ramen fix but I am happy to say we have found a new spot much closer to home. The broth was something out of Food Wars... Absolutely beyond rich and the noodles were cooked to perfection. Even the poached egg was *chef's kiss*. The hostess and (I believe) the manager were incredibly friendly and courteous. The restaurant is small and cozy and if you love Japanese cinema then sit and appreciate the dozens of Japanese movie posters. Can't wait to try the spicy miso next time.

Susannah C.

Yelp
Small cozy shop with limited seating. Got the yuzu shio ramen and it was perfectly seasoned! I enjoyed the broth, but wish there were more toppings. I think the noodles at other places are better (as other yelpers noted). I'd come back and get another bowl :)

Bobby B.

Yelp
Unassuming from the outside, but the moment you step inside you know the Ebisuya is going to deliver. I got the shoyu ramen and asked for it to be spicy. The broth was packed with flavors and it's a generous portion. I got a taste of the spicy miso ramen broth... I'll be coming back for a bowl very soon.

Jen A.

Yelp
First of all, service was incredible! The hosts barely allowed me to get up for anything (it's an order & pay at the register restaurant), and they were super kind! The ramen was great. I ordered a large miso so I could have some leftovers for later. I can't wait to take some friends to check it the next time I'm in the area! I did need to add a touch of soy sauce to my broth, but I do like my broth on the salty side. The only downside of my experience was that we sat on the stools by the window, which had a heater by your feet, and the heat was blasting, so we decided to leave quickly after eating. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Best ramen in Boston. The spicy miso is unreal. Having lived in SF and Chicago, I know good ramen and this is as good and even better than living in those places.

Yelp
I've been a big fan of ramen noodles at Ebisuya on Sunday afternoon so I was happy to find out that they finally opened a restaurant. However the taste was different from what I remembered. I'm not saying it was bad, but I think the taste of katsuobushi they used overwhelmed the flavor of the broth itself. I got a spicy miso ramen but the tare didn't get mixed well with the broth so I only tasted the spicy miso towards the end of my bowl. The amount of char siu pork I had was significant. I ended up visiting Ebisuya market to get a bowl of miso ramen and it tasted so much better. My husband asked the workers there and found out that the shops are both under one owner but different recipes.

Yelp
We visited on a weeknight to try this place out. You select your order at the counter, pay (CASH ONLY) and wait for your bowl of ramen to come out. Unfortunately, the taste is not what I was expecting. I ordered the spicy miso ramen with pork char siu for an extra $2.80. The spicy miso ramen itself does not come with any pork. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of the pork that came out - it tasted like Canadian bacon/cold cut from the deli and not the typical char siu I would expect in Japanese ramen. The broth itself was not piping hot and there was this "meatball" that you break apart into the broth. Overall, the broth was not very "miso-y" and had too many random garnishes going on (red onions, cilantro, bamboo shoots) which I never see in Japanese ramen. I would rate this place a 6/10.

Yelp
The owner was so warm and inviting. My friend couldn't stop raving about their ramen while we were eating. We both got the spicy miso. Soooooooooo good. All the flavors complemented each other very well. Thank you Ebisuya for a fantastic meal!

Yelp
Very good bowl of ramen. The ramen texture is perfect. What do you expect from a chef who actually make the ramen himself, cook the chasu for 13 hours and the soup broth for 10 hr. The place is very small with a lot of Japanese pictures on the wall. The ramen and broth is as good as it get
