Eclosion Château Hôtel & Restaurant I St Paul en Jarez

We came across this hotel by accident, and what an amazing find. Our room was simple and elegant, and the pool and gardens delightful. We didn’t eat in the restaurant (it was full!) but were recommended a place not far away. Breakfast was a touch of class with high quality breads fruit and pastries - a laundered napkin at breakfast? What a treat! Also we were entertained by the free-range chickens wandering around.. all in all, one of our favourite stops.

Exceptional Hotel & Restaurant! The team is amazing! They read the wish from your eyes. The place is beautiful! You can feel how much love and energy they put into the design of the hotel and the details of every room. The food is incredible and just for this I would come again. Thank you.

This place is absolutely wonderful. I can really recommend the amazing restaurant and definitely also staying over - maybe even for several nights like we did. The staff were lovely and the service was of very high standards. They were helpful and nice. The food and wine in the restaurant was a really, really nice experience in itself and the staff took great care of us. The pool, the gardens, the breakfast, the rooms - the whole castle was absolutely perfect. And also good opportunities to go to intermarche and buy wine/chacuterie for the room if you’re not going to the restaurant for more than one night (remember to book)

Absolute pleasure to stay in this wonderful hotel. Location was perfect for me. Room and view were simply exquisite Then imagine my surprise when i found out they do a taster menu !! (Book through the website). I was luckly enough to try the new menu. The service, food and paired wine was much better than some of the UK Michelin restaurants i have been to. Add it to your list.

I don’t write hotel reviews often, but after staying at Eclosion Château Hôtel, I feel compelled to share my experience. This beautiful building is such a lovely place to stay. The rooms are simple but clean and newly arranged, making them very comfortable. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed during our stay, but we had a wonderful picnic in the garden, enjoying local products from a nearby shop. Breakfast was delicious, offering a great variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, and sweets. The garden and interior of the Château are like a piece of art – we truly appreciated their work. It’s a must-stay, and we are already looking forward to our next visit, hopefully with the restaurant experience included.

This chateau is a beauty to see with a nice garden . ( village and surroundings are not great) Our room was spacious with nice beds , airconditioning large bathroom ( with a mirror to high for me, i am 1.80 cm ) only a safe was missing. The set dinner ( 7-10 courses) was high quality as well the breakfast. But what was missing ? the hospitality and service feeling . A few examples the restaurant has an open kitchen when we asked a fried egg there were 4 chiefs in the kitchen . But it was not possible to, we stayed 2 nights both morning not possible Another example we asked in the evening another table, not possible, but the restaurant was 50% occupied. With breakfast even worse we wanted to sit on the window , not possible however only 3 able occupied, not busy. Another example in the seven courses menu we wanted a change , not possible ( cots are 85 per person ..) Last example The room is nice but no paintings on the walls , televisions hangs too low, the mirror in bathroom too high it could be so easy more luxury but in the end it misses real interest for guests .Of course there is always a person trying to do the best but the main attitude is very cold .

I ordered the short menu (double plate)and my son ordered 8 courses menu. Food was amazing, wine was very well complimented. Smart usage of fresh herbs and flora fragrance really freshen up my pellets. Service excellent, waiters has style. Recommend!

This was our splurge for this part of our trip. Well worth the visit just for the food and experience. Celebrated our anniversary with great 9 course meal and wine pairing. Highly recommend this hotel and restaurant. Room was so beautiful and the grounds were a respite from a busy trip.
