"Having set up shop in this handsome 1905 chateau, young chef Pierre Carducci proposes cuisine that is as creative as it is bold, in which organic produce, notably from his father's market garden, takes pride of place. The eclectic wine list, with its preponderance of organic produce, is also appreciated. Pared-back guestrooms named after plants growing in the grounds." - Michelin Inspector

This was our splurge for this part of our trip. Well worth the visit just for the food and experience. Celebrated our anniversary with great 9 course meal and wine pairing. Highly recommend this hotel and restaurant. Room was so beautiful and the grounds were a respite from a busy trip.

We went there for Easter lunch and were quite disappointed. On a positive note, the dishes are great, and the location is beautiful, especially thanks to the park surrounding the castle. Unfortunately, some of the waiters were not kind and the wine selection did not cover some basics we were expecting (they had no Bordeaux for instance). Finally, the price was excessive (it was higher than usual for the special day and the normal price seemed more adapted to what we ate).

I ordered the short menu (double plate)and my son ordered 8 courses menu. Food was amazing, wine was very well complimented. Smart usage of fresh herbs and flora fragrance really freshen up my pellets. Service excellent, waiters has style. Recommend!

Recently renovated “chateau”, not far from the Route Du Soleil. A good stopover for travelers lon their way to the South of France.||||Rooms are very reasonable priced, prices vary by room. Nice garden and lounge sets. The restaurant offers a exquisite dinners, ranging from 8 course set menu to an extensive tasting menu. Eu 58 for the 8 course tasting experience is real good value for money.||||The staff focuses on the restaurant. The hotel could do with a bit more TLC. Guests appreciate a smile and a bit of tidying up the garden and putting the cushions on the lounge sets just makes the difference between a perfect appearance of leaving a bit sloppy impression.

We were quite happy with our stay there. The staff was friendly, the house is beautiful and the rooms offer a lot of space.||||However: I tried to contact them by phone and mail as I forgot some things at their place and they didn't react (it's more than one week now). I would be really disappointed if I won't get my things back. :/

Incredibly cheap to stay in this beautiful building/chateau - lovely big room with separate toilet and glass shower in the room - BUT incredibly rude and surly staff who were so unhelpful and unconcerned! We didn’t eat dinner there as we had already eaten as had done a very long toad trip from northern France, but had breakfast which was nice but again delivered in this off hand, unfriendly manner! An interesting experience!

This place is known as quite the restaurant, which may attract some people to stay. You’d hope - as a hotel guest - that you could also take advantage of such an establishment. But no. Unfortunately, on the night we stayed it was fully booked. Call me cynical, but unless you’d just want to take advantage of your dining status, you’d consider your hotel guests in this regard. But I digress. On to the hotel... as a fine dining establishment, you’d imagine the rooms are perfect. You’d be mistaken. The wifi didn’t work at all, the bathroom seemed like it had been finished the week before and the fittings felt barely attached. It has one of those doors that you find in the dorm room of a summer camp. The breakfast was... served. A curt waiter, cutlery that belongs in a Dali painting, coffee served in a bowl (a la Friends) and the barest serving of food. I won’t be back, as I have no reason to. If you’re passing through, if advise you to avoid also.

We booked a room with breakfast via booking. During the check we showed our German vaccination certificate... unfortunately it was not enough and we would need a flash card, something digital from France. Since we didn't have that, we weren't allowed to go to breakfast. Also breakfast on the room did not go...... 😢 But the super cheekiness was that we had to pay for breakfast on departure even though we didn't have one!? The booking cannot be changed afterwards... That is really antisocial and a huge impudence!!!
