First time having dinner here, the extensive menu showcases what this restaurant is capable of.
Cucumber Flower is a great example of how well they can use fruit as an ingredient, the refreshing acidity of the dish is beautifully paired with the subtle sweetness of a glass of Alsace white wine.
Caviar and Uni Tart, a signature dish here, may not sound too exciting, but their skill in baking definitely brings the flavor to another level.
Line Caught Sole is a flavorful dish which exhibit how well they can put seafood and meat together. The tastes of fish, ikura and chorizo, all laid upon the yellow wine sauce and dill oil, blend together surprisingly well and pair just perfect with a glass of Pouilly Fume.
All dishes in the menu are enjoyable and inspiring to different extents.
In addition, there was one time I made a booking and an incident happened which was completely out of their control, but they stepped up and handled it very well. Very hospitable people there.
I can't say dining here is not costly but I guarantee that it is worth the while.
