It has been over a year since our last visit, and we decided to try the full tasting dinner menu. Service was good, the plating was good, but the taste was quite unsatisfying. i don't like to go into details of each dish but the ingredients were clashing into each other in a werid way and i don't think i will come back soon. Expensive dinner and the wine price is relatively high comparing to other star restaurants, just my opinion.

This is our second visit, last time was lunch, this time dinner. We love their menu have a lot of seafood & plant base dishes. Excellent, creative tasty dishes. More creative than typical level of fine dining (giving caviar, lobster, truffle etc.). The team are really thoughtful and provide a great experience start to finish. Its quite a long dining experience (8 courses took around 4 hours), so be ready for that and give yourself time to indulge.

Perfect from the moment we walked in. We had the set menu which was extraordinary and every dish was explained to us in detail by Janet and Oscar the wait staff. The kitchen is an open kitchen but you could have heard a pin drop they worked so quietly. The crockery was beautiful and unique and the restaurant practices Kintsugi with it which I love. I had a lovely chat with Janet regarding that practice. The staff were attentive to our every need right down to opening the bathroom door when we headed that way! The music playing was very uplifting and varied and the view changing from day to night is a great representation of Hong Kong. I cannot recommend this beautiful restaurant highly enough and if we had time before heading back to Australia we would go again.

Fabulous blend of deliciously rich flavours! With a stunning view and natural lighting, couldn’t have asked for a better lunch experience. Their signature is a dream come true for me, including my two favourite ingredients - uni and caviar😍. Hilariously, there was nothing “petite” about the petit four, consisting of blood orange, apple upside down and chocolate tart! Will definitely visit again, Huge recommendation!

Great open space restaurant, with excellent food. Nice atmosphere, great decoration diligent staff. It's a great place to celebrate some special occasion. The food is outstanding, but certainly pricy (if you compare with some peers). Wine pairing is enjoyable but rather pricy as well for the quality of the wines. The staff is systematically pushy at arrival for a glass of Champaign. Just know that it's not complimentary (Nor is the coffee at the end)

Excellent modern French. All dishes are great, and some are stunning. The scallops in fried bun is very special. The sake steamed fish is super tender. The wagyne beef with caviar is perfectly done. We ordered the 7 course tasting menu and the portion is just right. Definitely a must try!

The restaurant has a modern decor and generally good service. On one of the dishes the waiter forgot to introduce my friends dish and only came back about a minute later when we stared at him awkwardly. The menus are pricey, looking at HKD2000 per person. The wine pairing consists of 8 glasses of wines which is far too generous but they were willing to let me and my friend share the pairing which was very kind. The food was nothing spectacular as you would expect with the price. A few dishes were over salted whilst 2 dishes had an overpowering lemon zest flavour. There was nothing wrong with dinner but I don’t think I’ll be going back.

One of the best fine dining restaurants in Hong Kong. Chef Maxime managed to surprise us at every page of their library of flavours menu. With the price for fine dining menus steadily increasing every year. The seven courses tasting menu was priced reasonably and every dish was created meticulously with an emphasis on its main ingredients. All the dishes created a stage for which the main ingredient and the chefs' skills can shine through. The most impressive dish of the night was definitely the supplementary course of caviar. The staff first laid down a plate next to our table with some aged ham on it. Which turned out to have caviar marinating inside. After 40 minutes of marinating, the caviar was then scooped on a bone marrow soufflé with different greens below the soufflé. The dish was well balanced and the greens provided much needed freshness in contrast with the rich and savoury caviar and bone marrow soufflé. This dish was so good that I think everyone should just pay for the supplementary charge and make the menu into an eight courses menu. It's well worth the small additional price. It's worth noting that the lamb dish was also done remarkably well. It is very rare to find a lamb dish cooked to perfection. But this dish was done so beautifully, that I finished it all in seconds despite being stuffed from previous courses. The wine pairing was also great. The sommelier paired each dish with a glass of unique yet harmonious wine. One minor improvement that could've been done was to have a more consistent style of service. At the moment, it's sometimes formal and sometimes casual. Both styles of service are fine, but it would be nice if it's more consistent through out the course of dinner. All in all, the night was terrific and definitely would return again soon.

Yelp
Reviewing these Michelin star restaurants are difficult for me sometimes. Obviously the food was amazing. The technique and creativity that went into the dishes was mind blowing but I do think there there is better value out there. I though amber and arbor were slightly better as 2 star michelin restaurants. That being said, with the ingredients they used, it's hard to go wrong. The caviar uni tart was rich and decadent. The akamatsu (white fish) was perfectly cooked it's a foamy, rich broth that complimented it well. The lamb was cooked to perfection. The uni and truffle dish was out of this world. They were VERY generous with the truffle. All in all, a good experience @ecriturehk Taste: *** Service: *** Ambiance: **** ------------------------------ Écriture 26/F H Queen's, 80 Queen's Road Central, Central, Hong Kong ------------------------------

Yelp
The food was fantastic! Servers were attentive. Simply splendid meal and absolutely nothing to complain about! Usually the pre courses of a meal would excite me more than the main course. But this milk fed 35days old lamb was bomb!!
