From the very first moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome – almost like coming home. The warm atmosphere, the passion for exceptional food, and the attention to every little detail made the evening truly special. You can feel that everyone at Edinbane Lodge shares the same philosophy and deep love for what they do.
It was an absolute pleasure to meet Calum Montgomery in person and to experience his culinary vision through The Taste of Skye menu. Each course told a story of the island – rooted in local produce, inspired by nature, and beautifully presented. Every dish was both creative and honest, a true reflection of Skye’s land and sea. Simply outstanding!
One of the absolute highlights of the evening was a dessert unlike anything we had experienced before – Falasgair, delicately sprayed with the smokiest whisky of the island, nostalgically presented from a vintage perfume bottle. The combination was surprising, elegant, and deeply harmonious – a flavour so unique it’s almost impossible to describe. Moments like this make dining at Edinbane Lodge one of a kind.
The service team deserves the highest praise as well – professional, passionate, and genuinely kind. Their knowledge, care, and perfect timing made the experience seamless from start to finish.
