Dinner only- What an amazing experience from start to finish! We were greeted warmly at the door and were taken care of so wonderfully the entire time. We enjoyed the tasing menu with friends in celebration of my husbands birthday and it will be one of the most memorable meals of our lives. Each course was carefully presented and we enjoyed the wine pairings as well. Cocktails were on point and Alan didn’t miss a beat with our crazy groups requests. We can’t wait to return to Skye again and maybe next time we will stay at the lodge.

Rocking up at the Edinbane Lodge after rolling off the ferry from Harris and found a luxurious bolt hole. Essentially it’s a restaurant with luxurious rooms. The rooms are beautifully appointed and complimented with all your needs and wishes after a wind and rain swept hike across the delights of Skye. The team is young, professional and energetic on hand for tips on how to see the island. Breakfasts was excellent and delicious with local ingredients and delightfully presented. Plus some of the best coffee we had across our trip in Scotland. We dined at the restaurant and had the 5 course menu which was superb. We also opted for the wine pairing and were not disappointed with carefully paired wines with a stunning menu.

Review for restaurant only. My partner and I recently ate at the restaurant during our recent trip to Skye, booking the tasting menu as a special meal for our first night. Given the raving reviews we were of course very excited to be dining there. Unfortunately we didn’t share the same experience as others. While the ambiance and service was good, the meal was pretty mediocre, particularly considering its price tag. This is not our first fine dining and we had certain expectations. We don’t often spend that much for food, but are happy to do so for a great meal. The starters were very heavy on butter with other flavours missing, the third course was a plate of bread that was much larger than you’d need, the main course (beef) was overcooked and tough, and the whole meal didn’t have any vegetables. The last three courses of the tasting menu were all deserts, including a small slice of Brie that was fridge temperature. Overall, it was very disappointing and we were able to eat better food in another restaurant on the island for a quarter of the price.

The staff were some of the friendliest people you will ever meet Cameron was extremely helpful when the power went out across the island during our stay. The Sommelier Alex gave us great insight to all the wines served with our amazing dinner. The Rooms were clean and cozy with stunning views of the island. We would I’ve to stay here again and again. 10/10

We could not have been more pleased with our stay and with the staff in particular this past week. They truly embody the spirit of the consummate hosts. We received such a warm greeting from Alan when we first arrived and were very well taken care of by Katie and Eva during our meals. The room was impeccable and of very high standards. We opted for the tasting menu in the restaurant and were certainly not disappointed - every course was a work of art and it almost seemed a sin to destroy it by eating. But oh my gosh!!! Each bite was a true delight! We have a long list of boxes to tick on travel destinations but I can say without a doubt that if we ever find ourselves coming back to Skye, Edinbane Lodge will certainly be our first choice. Would highly recommend without reservation!

Simply an unforgettable gastronomic experience from the moment we stepped through the door to our departure. At every touch point--ambiance, service, food, wine--our visit to the restaurant at Edinbane Lodge was thoughtfully, artistically and deliciously curated for each of us. This is a must return for us next time we visit magical Scotland!

My wife and I had dinner there. It was amazing! Great service, creative tasting menu, wine pairing, and decor. Staff were extremely nice and friendly. Highly recommend!

Quite likely the best meal we've ever had. Every dish was a work of art, and the flavors were out of this world - you could tell there was a lot of care and thoughtfulness that went into each dish. Very friendly and professional service. We will definitely recommend Edinbane Lodge to any friends visiting the highlands.

We made dinner reservations months in advance for a special meal. The service and food was superb. Would come back here again if we are ever in the area!

Simply put, this is a Michelin level restaurant for good reason. It doesn't get much better than this for an exquisite and first class event. Location is beautiful, service excellent and the food of the tasting menu, amazing! Make your reservations as early as possible, the place fills up very quickly.

It's taken a while for me to get around to writing this review but that is not a reflection of our experience. Perhaps the most memorable stay on our trip to Scotland, the Edinbane is superbly lovely. John and his staff were the most gracious and enjoyable hosts. Raul mixed up the most divine gin drinks and the food was hands above every other meal we had on the trip (and we did eat at other Michelin star restaurants). What made the stay memorable was that the atmosphere was sophisticated while the experience was unpretentious. Don't miss your opportunity to stay at this gem!

This award winning restaurant with rooms sits perfectly at the top of Skye's hospitality sector and has an intimate warm relaxed vibe (even with social distancing being at the forefront of service) Our tasting journey using the best produce of Skye & the highlands was exceptional from start to finish - the 8 courses offering incredible taste combinations and a true delight, the accompanying wine flight pairs perfectly with the dishes. Edinbane lodge is a treat, the entire team have gone above and beyond the current hospitality guidance to keep its patrons and our community safe, truly the pinnacle of highland hospitality.
