Ed's Pizza House

Ed’s Pizza used to have a fresh, great taste, but since the change in ownership, the quality has gone downhill. I ordered hot wings and fries, and the chicken was extremely dried out, as if it had been refried from a previous order that was never picked up. There was barely any sauce on the wings, and the portion of fries was noticeably smaller than before. To make matters worse, when I attempted to purchase a can of ginger ale, the cashier informed me that drinks are not sold to customers unless they purchase a special meal. This experience was very disappointing, and I felt my money was wasted. Unfortunately, this will be my last time visiting this restaurant.

I ordered today and I will say I order the grill chicken cheese steak and cheese steak a lot it usually good but today it tasted very bland and weren't so good. I understand that the same person may not be there everyday or at certain times but I think all restaurants should give the cooks the same ingredients and just show them the way things should be made because if you have one person making it the same way all the time then another one makes it different it becomes difficult to trust to buy from here . I love this pizza store I have been ordering for years I just don't like when things switch my chicken cheese steak was messy like the person don't care. Please start caring about the people who takes their hard working money to keep this business running thank you.

Ordered a large white pizza and when the food was delivered the pizza was cold. That's an easy fix but seeing that the pizza was extremely thin and not cooked was the problem. Their manager excuse was that we been making pizza all day and got smart, dh that's no excuse. When ur paying for something ur paying for quality. The worst pizza I ever seen

The pizza was good and fresh, but do they think we're stupid? They sell 12oz containers of icecream and call it a pint. I went home and measured and it was like...Why? I won't be buying ice-cream, and possibly food period from folks that overtly insult my intelligence.

I ordered a steak Stromboli, and when it got delivered to me, I opened it up gave my four-year-old son apiece then I noticed that the dough wasn’t done at all in the inside or the bottom. I took it back to the store in the cook try to argue back-and-forth for me, telling me that that’s how they cook.

The place is a little dirty.... I don't know if I got the sliced fresh out the oven but I think it's worth the $2.50.

I don’t understand why my food was delivered to me like this but I just wanted to show everybody else so they know what they are dealing with when eating here. Smh

Pizza was overcooked almost burned, luke warm almost cold, the crust too thick and the sauce too sweet for my taste. I gave 3 stars only because of the option to select beef pepperoni as a topping

only issue so far is they use door dash, we order up 2 pizzas this dick head shows up with 1 open pizza and no fucking clue what to do about it. Says we are liars and didn't order two, then leaves and drives around in circles on the DD app ( since you can see it ) and then finally cancels the order. Now we still don't have our pizzas and now DD has our money. When I call ed's some guy basically says not our problem call door dash. Then a guy with a very thick accent I can't understand calls me back to give me shit about calling them. Kind of a shit show. USUALLY ed's is pretty good, dunno wtf happened.

We ordered an extra large, two toppings extra, pick up pizza. It had a thin crust which was sort of limp, but tasted fine. The toppings were plentiful and tasty. The sauce two of us liked the sauce. One thought it was too sweet, but he thinks most things are too sweet. The price was very reasonable and the counter man was pleasant. Although there is a little table, this is not really an eat-in sort of place. A friend of mine used to order delivery maybe 15 years ago and had the same problems others complained about recently, but, since we picked up our food. It was pretty darn good!

I can't give Ed's Pizza four stars, but I definitely would give them three and a half stars if I could. Ed's Pizza House is a good neighborhood pizza spot with decent pizza, Strombolis, cheese steaks, hoagies, salads etc, etc. I go there for something special, a concoction that I dreamed up and thinking about it makes my mouth water. I order a pepperoni stromboli with mucho extra pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, green peppers and black olives. This combination is so tasty and satisfying! When I call Ed's and order it, they know it's me and they put a little extra love in it. With every bite I can taste that and that's what makes Ed's Pizza House special.

POTENTIAL HEALTH HAZARD!! I'm going to start out by saying that we are in the midst of the coronavirus. The food came quickly because we live pretty close to the restaurant. The buffalo wings were good but the pizza was not as we ordered. We ordered a pepperoni pizza but was instead delivered a cheese pizza. We called back to let them know so they could fix their mistake. When we called, they asked if anyone had touched the pizza, which shouldn't matter at all. (We didn't touch it) They intended on TAKING THE PIZZA BACK FROM US during the time of the coronavirus to either resell or throw away so we had to wait more time to get our food back. We didn't have to wait long since we live close but if we lived further away we would still be waiting right now. Also the second pizza was really greasy, and a little undercooked, and there wasn't that sheet to keep the grease from leaking through the box.

Called at 9:45 to place an order. Called back at 10:36 to check to see if it went out. The man says yeah your food left already. I call back at 11:11 to see where my pizza is the girl tells me I never ordered from there, she doesn't have an order for me. I'm completely over them. I won't waste anymore if my time or money.

I ordered 2 large pizzas wit a 10 piece mozzarella sticks that cost 31.64. When I went home with the food I had 6 mozzarella sticks instead of 10 which had marinara sauce on all of them because the lid was open the whole time. On one of the mozzarella sticks had 2 pieces of hair in them. After that I was disgusted to even keep eating the rest of them. Overall the pizza was good and that was the first and last time I will order the mozzarella sticks

I've ordered here a few times before & it was completely fine up until today! The order online was entirely different from the order on the receipt and the manager kept trying to justify as to why my order was nothing that I wanted. When the delivery driver came, she forgot my large pizza that ended up being a small pizza, instead of the large I paid for. Along with that, my hoagie did not have lettuce on it. Who makes a hoagie with no lettuce? Everything was sloppy and you can tell they had no regards or concerns for their clients. The manager was nasty on the phone & I truly cannot believe the experience I had tonight after being a continuous loyal client who spends $70+ every time I would order. Lost a customer forever & I will be sure that everyone knows!

Food is good some days! But the "COURT LIL GIRLS" are soooo Unprofessional. Playing behind the counter, had my food sitting there for 10mins, not paying attention! They need better service there!!

Ed's Pizza on Wayne Avenue USED to have really good food and service. Within the past month, the customer service is NONEXISTENT. No one ever picks up the phone, and IF they do are extremely rude, long hold times, and disconnected immediately. Germantown deserves a lot better and I'm not forcing this establishment to take my hard earned money. I won't be ordering from Ed's Pizza EVER again.

So annoyed right now. I called to order a beef pepperoni pizza and my boyfriend left me his credit card info to order it. I was told they wont deliver it without his photo id. I stated he wasnt home at the time bc I wanted to pay over the phone. I was told "well will your boyfriend be back to show his id" when I explained he wasnt home. I was also told "we would hate to deliver and then cant give you your food bc you have no photo id". Like do you really think im trying to rip you off or commit fraud on a $13 pizza!! Never again!!

HORRIBLE FOOD !!! Horrible service!!! I ordered a turkey bacon egg and cheese because I am allergic to pork! And sure enough they gave me a sandwich with one egg & pork bacon!! When i reported that it was the wrong order, they said it was the correct order! IN WHAT WORLD IS TURKEY BACON AND PORK BACON THE SAME! The sandwich looked like a child made it. Disgusting! I immediately threw it in the trash n would NEVER order from there again!! Stay awayy!!

I will never order from them ever in life again, first they took a hour for my food to be ready and I picked it up I asked for beef pepperoni and before my husband left he asked them was it beef the "manager" said it was, the food came home I checked it was pork and the receipt said pepperoni not beef pepperoni so I called to ask them and the lady on the phone told me that if it only says pepperoni then it pork I requested another pizza to be made. My husband got there and they said they gave the pizza away by accident and they could make him another one but he needed to wait 15 mins or get his money back, no accommodations no nothing. He took the money and I called to speak to the manger she like well it's nothing else I can do once he wanted his money back, I said the least u can do is deliver me a new pizza she told me I would have to pay for delivery. So please don't eat from them they give u pork instead of beef and customer service is horrible tried to tell me they under staff well that's not my problem when I'm spending my money I want what I asked for. They won't get anymore money from me or anyone I know.

Stay away from their dessert. I ordered twice. First time, I paid but they didn't include the dessert in my order and wouldn't give my money back. The second time I ordered four different desserts and all of them taste like mold. I called to complain and they told me to call the company that sells the cakes, which in my mind is them, on top of that they wouldn't take responsibility and credit me for the molded cake I had purchased. Ed's pizza house doesn't stand behind what they sell and really bad customer service when there's a problem.

So I ordered from here last Friday because me and my Gf were hungry I order a buffalo chicken quesadilla and some hot wings so after dipping my quesadilla in the sour cream several times I discover a glob of mold (no it was not blue cheese or any other substance )must I make clear that there blue cheese and sour cream are packaged differently.i was so disgusted I called and let them know what had happend they completely denied that it could be mold, so I went to the store with pictures and asked for the manager...every one seemed to look lost....smfh and offered no refund for my 37$ order and to only wake up the next day throwing up and have to go to the hospital to find out I have food poisoning .wost place to eat from please be very careful as our health is important and obviously means nothing to these scums . They won't Get another $ from me!

Unfortunately not only do they put you on hold without a proper greeting and expect to be on hold for about 10 minutes the food isn't good. After an hour wait for delivery my food was cold , expensive, and lacked ingredients. I then called to complain and was told it was because of what I had ordered.. ummmm a damn near $15 Stromboli should taste good and have all of its ingredients not just dough! I work at a school and normally would order for teachers and students but this particular Ed's location will never get any business from me or my coworkers again. Very unhappy with the service.

I'm not a hard person to please when it comes to ordering out as it's usually something that's done when it's too late to cook or there's nothing in the house. But good lord did this place piss me off. I ordered a buffalo chicken panini sandwich, but when I got it, it was on a Kaiser roll instead of panini bread; first red flag. Upon tasting the sandwich, I noticed how dull the buffalo sauce was and how chewy the chicken was as opposed to the nice, breaded crunchy chicken I've had from other restaurants that have better prices and no delivery fee. I won't be ordering from this restaurant ever again and I highly recommend that you don't either. There are many places in the Philadelphia/Germantown area that have better food than this. Don't do this to yourself.

When I called and requested delivery the said 30 -40 mins it will arrive it took 1hr and 37 mins and when it got to me it was cold

At 11:00am I attempted to order lunch for my contractors as a thank you for all of their hard work. I ordered 4 XL pizzas buffalo wings and sodas....about $100 worth of food and asked for it to be delivered. I attempted to pay over the telephone with my credit card and was told I had to be there to receive the delivery with my ID and card. I explained I was at work and would be more than happy to stop by the pizza shop afterwards with my ID and credit card. I was told to call back to order when I'm at the delivery location. Very disappointed.

The food is pretty good here. I was surprised. Love the pizza,cheesesteaks and fries. If you order on the weekend order early because delivery could take a while. The place is kept very clean and the people are nice.

This place is a scam!!!!!!! I had placed an order with one total amount & was charged a different amount. Meaning they over charged my account. I called & the retards told me it was my banks fault. I called my bank & they told me what I already know, which is my account was overcharged by them. This piece of trash restaurant also told me that other people have called "making up lies" saying that they overcharged their accounts with 10+ dollars. We are know doing an investigation on the situation & I will be making soo much noise on this. I will report this everywhere, you low life bottom bitch motherfuckers got me fucked up if you think you will get away with this. They also have gotten a couple orders of mine wrong, Do Not Order From Here!!!!!!!Makes Noise Dreams Will Come True!

Simply great food. Not your average pizza place. Real tasting pizza. The slices are very huge if yu just would like to grab a slice I love the sauce!

I would have gone 3.5 if I could. First time and ordered late on a Friday night. Order took 1hr but that was said when I gave my order, so it wasn't a shock. Pretty decent food. Had the chicken quesadilla, with onions and peppers. The veggies could have been cooked a little longer but it was good. Also ordered the chicken alfredo pasta. Again not bad at all for a pizzeria. I will definitely order again from here to see what else they have to offer.

i have been eating there since i was 16 & i'm 45 along with my brothers & sisters, which went down to my childrens' & grands, along with my nieces. i was with yall since yall had italian pork sausage, miss the pork sausage :(. but overalll as i'm typing i'm eating a slice now, still as good as always,.....keep it upppp muy perfecto
