We visited on a Friday around 6:30 PM, arguably the busiest time of the week, and it was packed. At first, it was tough to find a place to stand without being in the servers’ way. Things didn’t start to calm down until around 7:00–7:15, when our group of six could finally talk comfortably.
The bartenders at the back bar were excellent—friendly, attentive, and easily a 10/10. We put our name in for a table at 6:30, but since there aren’t many tables that can accommodate a group of six, the wait ended up being quite long. We stayed until about 10:00 PM and ultimately ordered food at the bar instead.
The fries were fantastic. The burger was solid, though $25 for a burger and fries felt a bit steep, Edit: but the owners put a lot of time and work into it, so very justified. And the sandwiches were massive, neither of my friends could finish theirs.
Overall, great vibes when it’s not slammed, and a fun spot if you don’t mind the crowd during peak hours.
Edit: I didn’t realize this was THE PLACE to eat in DC when we went on 1/8/26. We were lucky to get a spot at the bar, honestly. Great vibes and thank you to the owners for the respectful comment 👏🏻 👏🏻
