I was expecting better for the price and the reviews. There was nothing exceptional about that egg Benedict crab sandwich(kind of a bland). There could have put more home fries on the side. For the money, I do not think they delivered. The staff was nice and attentive. Parking is a pain. I can't imagine how it would be in season. There are lots of better restaurants in the area where you get more/better food for the money. We gave it a try it but we will not be back.

Google
I know several people who work at Egg, so this review hurts a little. I don’t get to visit them often but normally the food and service is great. However, during my most recent visit I ordered their Pumpkin Pie Praline French Toast, which I have had many times before. It normally takes care of that sweet tooth of mine and then some. Unfortunately, this last visit was not their best preparation of the dish. It was far too firm and over done. I was with a group of people though and didn’t want to be “that guy” to send something back. So even though it was bad, I dealt with it. Service was great as always. The employees there are really the nicest people. Ambience for a small restaurant is stellar. Don’t forget to try their Sriracha Bacon Candy. Yummm!

Google
Friendly staff, clean, neat and easy vibe restaurant with a solid breakfast. The menus has some creative food. Eggs Benny was perfect and my wife’s crepe was delicious. Fast and attentive service.

Google
We loved this place so much, we wnt 3 days in a row!! The food, drinks, and atmosphere are all Amazing!! I personally got the eggs Benedict twice & the fresh squeezed Orange juice was fantastic!! Also the candy Sriracha Bacon was mouth-watering 😋

Google
This place has gone down hill for quality of food. It used to be worth driving to when staying on the beach but today was super disappointing. Got the paleo dish (add avocado). The mushrooms seemed old and cooked barely on a flattop with hardly any oil. Barely cooked spinach and a hardly cooked over easy egg (that I had to ask to be reheated more). They were rushing us like cattle as well. Potatoes under cooked and dry. Will give it another shot if this was an off day but very gross meal.

Google
One of the best breakfast meals I’ve had. We were sat immediately and the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and clean inside. The decor is everything. Our waitress/bartender was great and the whole staff was very friendly. Had the lobster and crab Benedict, absolutely delicious. They give you so much crab meat on the crab avocado toast which was also delicious. Everything we tried was top notch. Most definitely will be back every year.

Google
One of the best breakfast spots I’ve ever been to! The candied bacon is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend stopping by on your way to the beach. Just be prepared for long lines in the summer—it’s a popular spot for a reason!

Google
Eggcellent eggs Benny and mimsies on a Friday morning. I consider myself an eggs Benedict snob so saying they were good here means a lot. The $30 mimosa deal is great if you can put back a bottle by yourself! Recommend eating here.

Yelp
Egg is a great breakfast spot that perfectly captures the essence of a beachside dining experience! After a fun day at the beach, my visit to Egg was a fantastic way to refuel in the morning. I ordered the crab avocado toast, and I can confidently say it was the best I've ever had--rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The combination of fresh crab and creamy avocado on perfectly toasted bread was divine. My husband got the shrimp and grits, and it did not disappoint. Our friends enjoyed a burger topped with a fried egg and the big breakfast with , featured a two cheese eggs, French toast, crispy bacon, and hash browns. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was lively, which made it a bit challenging to hear one another at times, as it was a bustling restaurant. Very energetic. Service was attentive and friendly. The only downside was the parking, which proved to be a challenge, but once we were inside the restaurant it was all good.

Yelp
The sriracha candied bacon was to die for- you need to get these for an app. For breakfast I had the lemon blueberry crepes, which were absolutely delicious. There lots of different options- from savory to sweet, you're sure to find something you're in the mood for. I'd definitely return next I'm in Rehobeth.

Yelp
Egg is eggcelent.... There, I said it. Yes, the Eastern Shore (jumbo lump crab) Benedict, while pricey, was worth it, yes, eggce, okay okay. One ding, the poached egg was a bit over poached... My wife had the, hide the children, Chicken Livers and Eggs, and she loved it despite it being, yes, liver. She also loved the house baked country white bread. And, drumroll please, finally hot coffee served with breakfast after days of lukewarm coffee. That said, the acoustics inside may drive you to dine outside unless you're the kind who enjoys hearing what people across the room are ordering... Yes, this place isn't for the budget-constrained, but it is eggcel...... I don't give out many 5s...

Yelp
Couldn't ask for a better location to feel like a local while you're on vacation. Situated just outside the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk area, you'll find this adorable front porch gem that makes you feel like you're back at the farm except you're at the ocean. The folks running the show here are extremely friendly making you feel right at home for your home cooked meal. If you grab a dish with potatoes, be sure to grab a side of scrapple to have along side it. The scrapple gives the potatoes a nice savory flavor that is a perfect combo.

Yelp
Stopped here before a day beach trip, so glad we did! There is a wait and line however it moves fast and they have more seating than I expected. Got the fresh squeezed oj and it was delicious! Eastern shore benedict and lemon curd crepes! The eastern shore benedict was one of the best benedicts i've had, the hollandaise sauce was seasoned so well, it was so flavorful! The lemon curd crepes were good however I was expecting a bit more of a curd/more filling as these seemed like a light syrup. The blueberries were plentiful and fresh! Went with a group of friends and was perfect to catch up, they don't seem to have large tables (we were a party of 5) so just keep that in mind. They pulled up a chair for our 5th at the booth.

Yelp
This restaurant is in a very good location, very close to the beach downtown area. We could walk there easily from our hotel. The food was a little hit or miss. We were encouraged to try the candied bacon, and it was truly special. The lemon and blueberry crepes were also quite good. However, the eggs on the breakfast chili rellenos, which I asked to be a soft scramble, came out so hard they were almost crispy. I was surprised the kitchen let them go out. The waiter promptly removed them and got me something else, which was appreciated. I ordered a basic eggs Benedict, and while the eggs, ham, and muffin were cooked perfectly, the hollandaise and potatoes had no flavor. The patio is dog friendly and the staff was great.

Yelp
Took a stroll in seach of some hearty breakfast and walked into this establishment. Wait was not too long since they also seat you in the outdoor rear patio space. We ordered some coffee, fresh squeezed OJ to start. Then we decided to get 2 plates to share for us. Being adventurous, as one of the dish, we ordered the Scraple. Scraple was interesting. Texture is similar to a well cooked 'Spam' but tasted nothing like it. It reminded a little of the canned corned beef? In any case, everything else was delicious and no complaints. Staff is quite nice and attentive. Definitely a great breakfast/ brunch spot when in the area

Yelp
This is a solid 4.5-star breakfast/brunch spot in beautiful Rehoboth Beach. Always a friendly welcome and attentive staff. Don't miss the lemon curd crepes with blueberries - bless the heart of whomever created this recipe!
google avatar

Sandy M.

Yelp
One of the worst breakfasts ever. Ordered the sweet hot bacon, it was so hot with sriracha it was inedible. The creamed chipped beef was on stale corn bread in a cornstarches rich sauce, the croque monsieur had one slice of ham in it and was coated with a flavorless bechamel sauce, and the shrimp and grits was mediocre at best. It was all just awful, I never write one star reviews but if we could have given this place zero stars we would have. Never again...... Service was fine. Decor was fine, that's it.
google avatar

Lori J.

Yelp
A delicious "fancy" breakfast with quick service and homey vibe. There can be a wait but we got there around 9 on a Friday and we're fine. There were a few parties waiting by the time we left. I like that they have a half Benedict order because i can never finish the whole thing! Not simple diner food if that's what you're looking for, but you can still get eggs and toast.
google avatar

Mike H.

Yelp
Great place for breakfast. Lots of options including gluten free. Eggs your way is traditional egg breakfast with your choice of eggs, meat and hashbrowns. There are some other options with it also. Right down the street from our hotel. Referred from a friend and well worth it. Not a huge place but they have porch and outside seating which is great if the weather is. Dog friendly also. The staff was very nice, attentive and helpful. Service was pretty quick and good. Understand it can be pretty busy on weekends so go early. Parking may require a little walk. But worth it all

Yelp
We stopped at Egg on our last day in the area before going home. The restaurant is super cute and they also offer outdoor dining. The waitstaff was very kind and service was quick even though it seemed busy. We ordered a round of mimosas to start. I had the breakfast burrito and my daughter has the peanut butter French toast. It was tasty but I think a little bit too much peanut butter for us. I would definitely return on our next visit but hopefully we can bike because parking is tough.

Yelp
Quaint little cafe next to a coffee house. The servers/hostess are friendly. Our food came out within 15min of ordering. Food was tasty, seasoned well. We'll be back!

Yelp
This place was amazing. Service was eggcellent we dined outside for breakfast and it was such a treat. The sriracha bacon was out of this world. Lobster eggs Benedict was incredibly delicious. We also gave them a thumbs up for being pet friendly. The avocado crab toast was yummy too
google avatar

Melissa C.

Yelp
Always great food, friendly service, and cozy booths. Prepare yourself for the wait but it's with it!

Kevin B.

Yelp
Great menu. Charming place. Service at the bar was a bit slow for a weekday. Pumpkin Pie French Toast - Lots of potential but one of two slices was cool and dry/uncooked - other slice was almost done. Coffee was very good.
google avatar

Ron B.

Yelp
Awww yeah! Tried something new this am! Breakfast - Pablano pepper with eggs, cheeses and chorizo and her had the sage sausage gravy and biscuits. Loved the stuffed pepper and also had a chance to taste the sage sausage in the gravy. WOW! This is I'll be on our list of great breakfast joints in Rehoboth/Lewes area!!

Yelp
The food at Egg was not as good as eggspected. I got the lemon curd crepes. The crepes themselves were far doughier than they should have been, and they barely had any lemon curd filling inside the crepes. I didn't love my mocktail either, though the other ones on the menu looked good as well. My parents however loved their orange juice. My mother got the McQuaid. She said it was under-seasoned, slightly dry, and there was too much barley. My father got the biscuits and gravy. He said they were far denser than any biscuit should be. The service was fine, and the ambiance was adorable. It reminded me of a place I often go to near my home in PA. Overall I think that many people will enjoy it, but my eggspectations were higher.
google avatar

Carol P.

Yelp
Food is great, but the options for me are limited. I would love some plain crepes or plain French toast. Not a fan of the lemon crepes and the 2 choices for French toast (pumpkin or peanut butter are not appealing). Basically I get 1 of 3 things: the fritatta, 2 eggs my way. Or the bfast sandwich. The mini madame croque is good.
google avatar

Yelp
Maybe one of the best breakfasts and best service experiences I've ever had. Chandler was our server, and he was so generous and attentive. They admitted that our ticket wasn't taken by their system, explaining our long wait for food. We honestly didn't mind because we were chilling with our mimosas. However, they served us some of their signature candy bacon, gave us a good discount, and comped our drinks. They were extremely generous for this. They went above and beyond, and the food was so delicious. I'm still thinking about the pumpkin pie pecan praline pancakes. So sweet but it perfectly offset our savory entrees. The crab benedict was meaty and surprisingly substantial. I would absolutely come back here if I visit Rehoboth Beach again. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. As a tip, I came around 915am on a Sunday morning and my group of five was seated after about 15min. The crowd outside the restaurant looked a lot bigger soon after we were seated.
google avatar

Lauren M.

Yelp
I can't say enough great things about this place. Firstly it's super cute and bright inside. Has that farmhouse chic aesthetic. Then menu has an amazing selection. It's very thoughtful and creative. Definitely something for everyone. You like sweet, they got you. You like savory, they got you. You like out of the box, same! Our server was attentive and pleasant. We started our meal with the mini croque madames and the sriracha bacon. Both were excellent. I ordered the paleo dish and a side of cornbread with SOS. Absolutely perfect. They have a decent selection of cocktails as well. Prices were very reasonable for a from scratch good quality breakfast place. I would 100% come again.
google avatar

Elisa F.

Yelp
Another spot we had on our list of must-trys in Rehoboth Beach! Egg has a great menu selection, outdoor seating that's dog friendly, and great drink list. We were seated in about 20 minutes on a weekday morning. They seemed to quiet down around 10am so that might be the sweet spot! The staff was so kind and immediately brought our pup a water bowl. For a hot day, they have lots of shade on their patio. We started off with bloody marys which were tasty and came garnished with shrimp! The eggs benny was perfect and I really loved their home fries. The PB French Toast was definitely a table favorite & a must try!
google avatar

Charles V.

Yelp
A nice choice for breakfast, especially if you want to eat outside where they have several tables. They provide most of the standard options you would expect. If you are looking for something simple, the Breakfast Sandwich is done quite well. I went with the bacon, egg, and American cheese. And the toasted breaded hearty but soft. There is also a Gluten free bread they offer which my wife really enjoyed. Their pancakes are quite tasty as well. They are thick yet airy ... and go well with the maple syrup they provide.

P H.

Yelp
Amazing. It is worth going only for the siracha bacon! The sweet and savory menu will please everyone.
google avatar

Dara R.

Yelp
My local friends love this place and I see why. The atmosphere is very cozy and charming. The staff is friendly and attentive, which is surprising given how incredibly busy they are. You will most likely have to wait for a table, but it will be worth it. They have a great menu. I recommend the stuffed poblano or the sausage gravy and biscuits. Don't sleep on their cocktail menu. The old fashioned and crushes are fantastic.
google avatar

Bianca T.

Yelp
Very cute decor and atmosphere. The food is yummy, but we did have to wait a bit. There's also outdoor seating which is nice.
google avatar

Deborah J.

Yelp
Small, quaint restaurant with good food and service. Menu is limited but the quality is good. I had eggs bacon and potatoes. Bacon was DELICIOUS! Potatoes were nicely cooked and seasoned. My husband had the avocado crab toast with a side of potatoes. The toast was loaded with lumps of crabmeat. He loved the combination of avocado spread and crabmeat. We're glad we had breakfast here because it was a great way to begin our day. If you're in the area give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Kendra M.

Yelp
Delicious and great service We will be back when we return to rhoboth beach. The seafood added to any dish was amazing. The omelette dishes were so good!
google avatar

Bonnie F.

Yelp
Wow! A friend that comes to Rehoboth every year recommended the place. It was the best crabs Benedict we ever had and mimosa pitcher was fantastic. We came back again the next day because it was just that good. Local and friendly staff too
google avatar

Maria L.

Yelp
This place is super cute and I haven't found a better crab Avocado toast...!! It's a MUST if I want crab avocado toast. You may have to wait a bit for your tasty breakfast but it's worth the wait. :) You'll find sitting outside and inside. Great service and good selections on the menu. My friend really enjoyed the Eggs Benedict. Happy eating :)

Yelp
Food: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 My friend had found this place while looking for Brunch places near Bethany beach. We found this place while visiting the Delaware beaches area, but we are from Washington, D.C. I'm not normally a brunch person, but this place has food I enjoy eating! We had waited about 20 minutes for a table for 4 people. While waiting, we walked to Rise-Up Coffee next door. By the time we received our drinks, we were able to sit down for the brunch! I ordered: 1. Sriracha Candied Bacon: This is more sweet than spicy. It was evenly coated with a sweet glaze and there is just a very light sriracha taste to it. I had ordered three pieces, and I definitely could have ordered more. Bacon is one of my favorite breakfast food items, and the sweetness was a lovely twist. It reminded me of honey-glazed ham. I would return to this place for the sriracha candied bacon! 2. Crab Eggs Benedict: The crab benedict was $13 each. I ordered one of them. It came with potatoes (heavenly, especially with siracha). The egg was slightly runny (which I loved) and cooked to perfection. No complaints on this aspect. As a tip, if you have a vegan/vegetarian in the group, and they order one of the wraps/burritos, you could ask for the meat on the side and give it to someone else in the group! Parking - it was hard to find parking. We ended up parking on a "parking permit only" location. We did not get a ticket or a fine, but it was definitely risky.

General W.

Yelp
This place is a great cozy place. Very peaceful and quiet. Great place to enjoy outside seating and relax with a good cup of coffee or their bucket of bubbly. Food was delicious. Tony's girlfriend here! I completely agree. The food was delicious. Had the lemon curd crêpes, they were out of this world.
google avatar

Donna M.

Yelp
It was a beautiful start to the day. We sat outside and did not have a wait at all. Service was spectacular and very fast. I had the avocado crab toast. So, so much crab. I couldn't even eat a whole piece. My husband had the Stuffed Poblano and he said it was great and he would definitely order again. The Sriracha Bacon Candy was addictive. We will definitely be going back.

Jake P.

Yelp
This place is the best breakfast around. Always a wait to get in but definitely recommended.

Yelp
On MLK Day Monday 2022, my wife, four-year-old daughter and I went to Egg thanks to a good rating on Yelp. We went around 10 a.m. and were seated right away. (When we left around 11 a.m., there was a long line to get in!) Here's our experience: 1) Food: The menu is large and diverse (including a dish with quail eggs). I ordered the stuffed poblano pepper (with scrambled eggs, cheese and chorizo). My daughter had the pancakes and my wife Eggs Benedict. None of it stood out as out of this world, but it was decent basic breakfast. However, the siracha candy bacon was unique and GREAT! 2) Service: It was hit or miss. Our server was not friendly at all. In fact, my wife and I wondered if we had unknowingly offended her by wearing masks or something else. She ignored our table, responded extra slowly when our daughter accidentally spilled her orange juice, brought us a wrong order and responded to our four-year-old's comments with coldness. However, the other staff were super friendly! Our four-year-old daughter talked to a few other staff who got down to her level and had a full conversation with her. So nice! 3) Space: It's inside an old market and very cozy with booth, table and bar seating. Murals of roosters and photographs of the old market hang on the walls. There's a small outdoor patio with heaters, but for some reason it was closed when we went.

Yelp
What makes breakfast better than any other place.....it's a legit question and Egg answers. For example, the Norway eggs are scrambled eggs with ample smoked salmon distributed throughout. This sits atop a thick cut, toasted slab of rye. The flavors and textures made this a top breakfast dish. The oversized ramekin of berries, pineapple, apples and oranges rounded out the meal. The biscuits with gravy are top notch, hand made and fantastic. The sriracha bacon....just try it!

Yelp
Egg is a amazing bruch spot and we eat here at least once, if not more, every trip we make to Rohobeth. The food is delicious - the lobster eggs Benedict out of this world. The bloody mary is a spicy favorite! Egg is by far the best breakfast and brunch spot in Rohobeth! We have had horrible experiences at somewhere else for breakfast in Rohobeth, but Egg never disappoints.
google avatar

Jocelyn O.

Yelp
Good food. Good Service and friendly staff. Chandler is a good bartender. Very friendly and made our dinning experience fun. Will be sure to come back to this spot for breakfast next time we are in town.

Matt C.

Yelp
Food was egg-cellent. Got our food in a timely manner and enjoyed the outdoor space. The chairs could have been bigger but other than that a great place to eat.
google avatar

Yelp
We came on a Saturday morning just in time for brunch. Everything on the menu has egg, hence the name. My first impression when I walked in was that it was bigger than I thought and it had the perfect ambience for brunch indoors. We were seated at the back bar. It was me, my husband, toddler and baby. I ordered the Egg Burrito and my husband ordered the Frittata special. My meal was delicious! It was a big burrito too so I could not finish it all at once. What was lacking for me was the service. It was almost as though I felt like she didn't want us there. Maybe the waitress did not like that I asked for a straw for myself or a dessert fork for the toddler. It seemed like she did not really want to be helpful or do anything other than taking the order. She did ask the other tables if they were okay a couple of times, but she didn't bother to include us in her rounds. For that, the experience was just okay.
google avatar

Shu Jin S.

Yelp
Excellent food, great service and bright and cheerful ambiance. You really can't go wrong with coming here for breakfast! We came on a Saturday morning around 10:30am and didn't have to wait very long (tip: just say whatever is open first, in terms of dining indoors or outdoors and you'll get a table much faster). We started with the sriracha bacon (good). I had a single serving of the lobster benedict and it was pretty f-ing amazing (yes, that good!). Also, it's nice to be able to order a single vs. a double serving, so kudos to whomever came up with that idea! My partner got the french toast with turkey sausage (also yum). It was so tempting to come back again on Sunday, lol. But we wanted to be closer to the beach/boardwalk. However, if we're visiting again, we're definitely coming back to Egg.
google avatar

Stuart M.

Yelp
I got the croque monsieur. It may be authentic, but I am not used to cheese and béchamel sauce on the outside. I thought it was small, and the flavors didn't pop for me. Plus I was used to a nice buttery crunchy crust. So, this wasn't for me. My wife had the lemon curd crepes and they rocked. Note to myself: "Stock up on lemon curd."
google avatar

Matt S.

Yelp
On our way to Ocean City, Maryland for a two-week stay, we stopped by Egg for breakfast. We parked the car, had to wait a bit, and walked across the street to the museum. When it was around the time they told us the table would be ready, we returned. The hostess came up to us and called my wife by her name to seat us. Oddly enough, there was another couple with the same name that the table was for. They got the table on the patio and we were seated right away inside. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. This was a decent offering but could have used a bit more gravy. I just recently had the best biscuits and gravy of my life, so it would have been tough to beat that, but I was hoping for it. I ordered some eggs on the side to add some runny yolk to my dish. All in all, I was happy we didn't have left overs before we got to our room. Car was packed and couldn't even take the leftovers if we had it. Was enough food to be satisfied but not overly stuffed.

Kathy T.

Yelp
Came here for Sunday brunch on our way home from vacation. Showed up around 9:45 and waited about 30 minutes to sit down--may have been slower because it was raining so they couldn't use their outdoor space. We had the dog and the hostess seated us at one of the few covered outdoor spaces. So nice! The food was fabulous--especially the pumpkin praline French toast. And the stuffed poblano pepper. And the candied bacon. The croque madame was good too. And my husband's marmalade margarita. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Viktor H.

Yelp
Great spot for solid good breakfast food! Service is friendly and the place is hopping so you might have a slight wait but they turn them fast (without rushing you). We had a party of eight so they had to split us between two tables since they don't have larger tables but they kept us close together and it was fine! Lots of seating indoor and out door. Nice place!
google avatar

Gary M.

Yelp
This is a rustic eatery in a converted house. The menu is ok. The sanitation is questionable with all the flies in the open area and some in seating area. The service is ok but nothing to write home about. I had the two egg combo: two eggs, potato cubes, toast and ham. The eggs were fresh and the potatoes had excellent flavor. The ham was very salty and detracted from the smoke house flavor. The coffee was an excellent brew. My wife had the fratatta. It is a quiche like egg but no crust. It was flavorful as well as unusual. It came with a side of diced fresh fruit and potatoes. If the few issues were resolved it is easily a 4 star place for breakfast or lunch.

Samantha B.

Yelp
This is a cute place to enjoy breakfast. The food was awesome, good service, with appropriate chicken and egg decorations. I ALWAYS appreciate when a hollandaise hits the target, they nailed it.
google avatar

Erika L.

Yelp
This place is a gem! It's very quaint, perfect for a breakfast worth savoring. Hope was our server and multi-tasked like she was a machine. She was so personable and topped off our coffee and cleared plates timely and with a warm smile. Every seat at the breakfast bar was taken; however, she made sure EVERYONE was happy.
google avatar

Sean W.

Yelp
Melissa is a super sweet server at bar, makes delicious bloody's! Another eggcellent breakfast, always freshly prepared. Love the side gravy with me eggs!
