The 13 Best Breakfast Sandwiches In LA - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"The sandwiches here are what we'd refer to as “two-shirters,” because you'll need to put on a new one after you finish eating. Sure, these babies are saucy, but we don't mind because the flavors harmonize. Egg Tuck is a local mini-chain that started in Koreatown and now has seven locations around LA serving a short list of fully loaded brioche toast sandos tucked into paper boxes. Your priority should be the Spicy Royal West, which has a gochujang-glazed tteokgalbi patty that's reminiscent of a burger, plus fried eggs, cheddar, chives, pickles, and a bunch of other tasty things you'll try hard not to spill on your lap." - garrett snyder, arden shore, brant cox, cathy park

Egg Tuck - Review - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"The sandwiches at Egg Tuck are what we refer to as “two-shirt sandwiches,” meaning you’ll need one shirt while you eat it and then a new one to wear afterwards. These babies are messy, but also very delicious. The tiny cafe has two locations, the original in Ktown and now Hollywood, and both offer a tight menu of six sandwiches featuring signature soft scrambled eggs and toppings ranging from avocado to bacon. Our favorite is the “Gochuracha Royal West.” Filled with a tteok-galbi beef patty that’s been glazed in a spicy gochujang sriracha, over-medium eggs, cheddar cheese, pickles, and onions, it’s by no means a light breakfast, but one that will certainly keep you satisfied well past lunch. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

Google
By far the best egg sandwich! Absolutely delicious. I just wish there was some sort of seating at this location. The two tables out front were too tall for my children to stand at.

Google
What a way to start the day! Creamy eggs, buttery brioche, the bacon was good, but not needed. There is so much going on with this sandwich. Easy to make a mess, and you do not want to waste any. You have to take it to go, so be prepared, this requires a lot of napkins.

Google
Delicious egg sandwich ! I think the best I’ve ever had. This place is only take out , there are no seats.

Google
Large, fluffy, yummy egg sandwiches - exactly what it says on the tin. Worth making the trip here for an early breakfast. Seating area inside was not in use, so we now have gooey egg stains all over our car.

Egg Tuck at 7131 W Sunset Blvd B, Los Angeles, CA 90046 This was a once in a lifetime experience 😋The food is absolutely amazing. I've always seen chefs like Gordon Ramsay make these fluffy 🥚 eggs but I've never tasted them until now 🤯 This location is a small location, you basically go in you order and you wait you get your food. Then you enjoy heaven on Earth for that small amount of time that you consuming this delicious meal. The parking lot can get a little tricky but it's a lot of quick in and out a lot of people are ordering by other pick up 📱 apps. So if you're in the area you might just get the food online delivered to you. They seem to have a lot of employees inside working on the orders and they are pretty efficient. Overall this experience was pretty good. The wait time was not too long and the food was amazing. We are talking about eating 🥚eggs people 🤣🤯👍

Google
If you think you're just paying for an egg sandwich, you're wrong. I don't know what they do to make this so damn good, but it's absolutely delicious. The fresh made brioche bread is the star, the eggs nearly tie for that award though. I was so surprised at how good this was. It's take out only, so be prepared if you're visiting from out of town like we were. We ended up eating in the car (which was fine). Everything is well packaged. We also got the tots with their siracha and that was also awesome.

Google
This location has easy parking, but there are homeless people around so be mindful of your surroundings (nothing against the business). There’s also no place to eat in, takeout only. Seeing all the reviews drew me to this spot. I think it’s worth a try if you’ve never had an egg sandwich. Fluffy, flavorful, and tons of eggs. The lemonade has great flavor.

Google
I had egg sandwich and egg burritos with coffee. Coffee is great, the staff is friendly but it took 20 mins for them to cook my order. There’s no place to sit, it’s super tiny and very uncomfortable when there are people in there. Egg sandwich was good but nothing crazy that I’d go there for again. Burrito was good as well, potatoes crisps are delicious but burrito is pretty small. Because of this size it’s more of a snack to me than a full meal.

Yelp
Was in town on vacation and I was craving a easy breakfast sandwich. To say they delivered would be an understatement. We got the Bacon and Cheese sandwiches and the eggs were perfections. Almost addicting. It is too messy to drive with but so worth getting. We also got a box a tots and they were also great. If I lived in the area it would be a regular spot for me.

Yelp
This is a delicious burrito. Ordered the Royal and added bacon. $13 including a dollar tip. Eggs are nice and fluffy. The Korean patty is really good. Bacon is crispy, plenty of cheese. And a great size for the money. I'll be back!

Yelp
Our first experience with this type of sandwich was in Toronto, the name of the place there was called Egg Club, so when we returned to the States, we wanted to find something comparable. Of course, my new foodie home, LA, provided a very similar breakfast sandwich. I had the bacon and eggs sando, and it was a true delight. This place will go on my every time list. BB

Yelp
The breakfast here is delicious! Made quickly and very fairly priced, I love their packaging and branding. They are very friendly and helpful here. The ham egg and cheese is my go to. I also love their fresh juice and lemonade. Great affordable breakfast option in the area!

Yelp
Doordashed the food but it came fresh and it was prob one of the best breakfast Sandy's I've had in a minute! The matcha was really good too!

Yelp
Tucked away in a strip mall you will find a delicious egg sandwich. They have burritos and other items as well if you are not feeling in a sandwich mood. You order on the tablet and wait time was around 10 minutes. Total for the sandwich and tots was less than $20. This fed my friend and I as we wanted a snack. The sandwich was full of flavor. Brioche was fluffy and toasted. The aioli and egg sauce made the sandwich very creamy. My friend said that it was a tad too sweet for his liking. The Korean patty was a little added protein as the sandwich would have been just as good with the egg itself. The tots were crispy all around. There was sauce on every tot and it wasn't overwhelming. We broke the egg and used the yolk as a dipping sauce as well. It was the perfect portion and we did not waste any of the food. There is no indoor seating so we just ate in the car and threw away the trash inside the store.

Yelp
Delicious sandwhich, tons of avocado when I added avocado, and the cold brew is refreshing

Yelp
10/10 . It was so damn good. I love a thick breakfast sandwich and let me tell you this spot will get you full quick. We ordered on Postmates and it definitely made our Sunday fulfilling

Yelp
My friend and I ordered delivery from here one morning during our LA trip as I saw many positive reviews on yelp and Google for this place. A Korean inspired breakfast sounded very yummy. I got the Royal West (Korean short rib patty, egg, cheese, grilled onions) and my friend got the spicy Royal West. We also ordered a side of hash browns. The sandwich looked small but it was definitely very filling. The sandwich itself was good but it wasn't mind-blowing. The hash browns had a good texture (crisp, golden outer, soft interior).

Yelp
Egg Tuck Hollywood is breakfast done right! I had the bacon and cheese sandwich and the egg tots--both were unreal. The sandwich was buttery, fluffy, and loaded with crispy bacon and melty cheese... total comfort in every bite. And the egg tots? Golden, crispy on the outside, soft inside, and packed with flavor. Super satisfying without being heavy. Service was fast and friendly, and the vibe is bright and inviting. Definitely my new go-to for a quick, delicious breakfast in LA!

Yelp
Absolutely delicious!! This reminds me of those very popular Korean egg sandwiches and I'm sure that was the vibe and intention. It can get busy, especially on a weekend morning. I highly recommend ordering ahead of time. Fair warning, it can get MESSY! Make sure to grab a handful of napkins. Service: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Price: 5/5

Yelp
Me and my girlfriend's family just finished with a guided tour to the Hollywood Sign and we were all hungry and needed some lunch. Our breakfast wasn't super nutritious as it was just carbs, lol. So we were looking for a protein-rich, inexpensive and quick place for lunch. I was given the task to find a place, so I found "Egg Tuck". It was also on the way to Beverly Hills which is where we were going afterwards, so that was convenient. The name says it all! It's literally egg sandwiches/burritos and that's basically it! A very small, but DELICIOUS menu. It's not big in this place either. In fact, something to keep note of is *THERE IS NO SEATING INSIDE OR OUTSIDE*! It's literally a place where you order your food, wait and go. The specialty of this restaurant is scrambled eggs with their fresh brioche bread. Very simple! The way you order is very simple. There are two iPads when you walk in and you put in your order on that. Then you pay and you wait. The service wasn't that bad in there. It was a little slow for the amount of people working there, but that being said, it wasn't super slow. It was very manageable. The style of the restaurant is also pretty cool. It's (to-a-degree) minimalistic, but also not at the same time. So what did I get? Well, I got a Bacon, egg and cheese with some aioli sauce, sandwich on a Brioche bread. Firstly, the brioche bread was perfect. The color of the bread after toasting was perfection and the taste of the brioche wasn't too sweet. So it didn't overpower the eggs. The eggs were also cooked to perfection. They were wet, and juicy which is just how I like them! There is even a sign in the restaurant saying "don't worry, the eggs may look undercooked, but it's the way we make them, so we assure you they are cooked!" Also the bacon and cheese were excellent as well. This place seemed like a very popular place from locals and tourists. So I would not consider this place a tourist destination at all. I'd just consider it your normal neighborhood egg restaurant. If you like eggs and you like eggs on a brioche bun and are in the area of Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA, I highly recommend you give Egg Tuck a try! It's truly an egg-cellent experience!

Yelp
I LOVE their breakfast burritos!! Their spicy mayo sauce is so good omg I love mixing it with a little bit of ketchup... I got some of these burritos for my fiancé and brother. It was my brothers first time and he loved it. Decent size for the price!

Yelp
Honestly, we were thinking of getting EggSlut but wanted to get something nearby so gave Egg Tuck a shot, and glad we did. Now we love Egg Tuck and became a must for us whenever we're in LA
google avatar

Alex K.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast sandwich! So flavorful with lots of bacon and yummy sauces. Not much of an ambiance, it's pick up only, so nowhere to dine. And the service was pretty quick. A good option to take out-of-towners for an on-the-go bite.
google avatar

Moog F.

Yelp
Food is so good Wish it was focused a little less on aesthetics and was more functional but I guess this place is viral so that makes sense!
google avatar

Farrah F.

Yelp
Really good egg sandwiches I like it more with ketchup and hot sauce. You can order online for pick up or order in at the kiosk machine. There is no eating inside, this is to go only.

Yelp
Egg Tuck is one of my favorite breakfast spots in LA. I've been to LA a few times for various film projects and each time I find myself recommending and going to Egg Tuck. Not only is it a vibe in the location & the service is always top notch, but also the food absolutely does not disappoint. I always get a breakfast sandwich and it's like fluffy, juicy and packed with so much yummy flavor. It always fills me up perfectly & I always want it again the next morning. If you haven't tried it, please get it!!
google avatar

Shobha S.

Yelp
Hidden gem for egg sandwiches There is a parking lot so ample free parking. Can order on kiosk which is pretty past and if you choose to pay with cash then cashier will take the payment, otherwise pay with card at the kiosk or tap. Workers are friendly. Food is definitely great. The egg just melts with every bite. Definitely recommend for breakfast or brunch or afternoon bite and one sandwich is quite fulfilling. Will visit again!!!!
google avatar

Empryss J.

Yelp
Food tasted amazing and everyone has great customer service. I realized when I got here there's not dining but it doesn't matter, I definitely recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
My new favorite egg sandwhich spot! Heads up that there's no indoor seating. We ordered our sandwich to go ahead of time and ate it in the parking lot. The warm, soft eggs with the crispy brioche bun make the best team. It's so tasty when you add hot sauce on top too!
google avatar

Karenhope T.

Yelp
More like a 3.5/5. Great breakfast sandwiches and burritos but no place to sit and gets really busy! There's a kiosk in the front that you order from and they call you name out when ready. We walked from our hotel and had to walk back so learn from us and definitely bring your car!
google avatar

Molly C.

Yelp
The sandwich was AMAZING! I had the bacon and cheese. Best soft scrambled eggs ever on the most delicious brioche bread. Run here!
google avatar

Yelp
Used Door Dash for Egg Tuck, and it did not disappoint. I don't know about the service, but the food was awesome.
google avatar

Emily G.

Yelp
I ordered this & it was SO good!! It had more flavor than what I was expecting. I honestly got the bacon for more flavor. But the egg is perfect just the way that it is! But you can never go wrong with bacon 10/10
google avatar

Nicholas M.

Yelp
The royal burrito was very good and surprisingly filling for its size. The staff was friendly, and kind. The inside was a bit small, I could see it being an issue ordering if it was more busy. But was not an issue for my visit.
google avatar

Jenna H.

Yelp
SO GOOD! I love the soft scrambled eggs and personally strongly prefer the eggs at EggTuck to EggSlut. It's a tiny place, you order and pay at the counter kiosk and it's brought up when it's ready so no way to rate service. You cannot eat at the counter and there are signs all over inside saying so...so I have never had been able to have a hot and fresh sandwich bc I have to bring it home.
google avatar

Olivia R.

Yelp
Yaaaa. This was insane. Vegan breakfast burrito with soyrizo. Ordered through Postmates and was packaged neatly. Delicious and perfect breakfast burrito!
google avatar

Mich W.

Yelp
Was in the search for a good breakfast burrito and found this place on Yelp. It was better than I was expecting to be honest! I got the spicy one with the galbi and it was really flavorful, the onions were a good touch for texture and flavor. Downside was there's no indoor seating so you have to take it to go.
google avatar

Rexie S.

Yelp
Food : delicious Service: could use some help Ambiance small pick up area, no dine in area This place was busy. You know it's good when there's a line. There are two kiosks in the front where you put your order and they hand you your order. We had the vanilla chai latte and a matcha latte (not pictured) to eat the bacon and cheese sandwich. It was on brioche toast with fluffy eggs bacon with a siracha Sauce and chives. It was so delicious! So worth it ! Would come back to try others.

Yelp
Our daughter has been talking about Egg Tuck for some time. We finally drove out to Hollywood to give them a try. Located in a large plaza, parking was relatively easy when we arrived just before 11am. The place is small and was very busy. It was difficult to tell who was waiting to order or waiting for their order. A staff member noticed us standing behind someone who we thought was in line. She directed us to the kiosk, which was fairly easy to use. We chose 3 sandwiches, Fluffy Egg Fries, Iced Sweet Matcha Latte and a Diet Coke. There's no seating so all orders are for "takeout". We then waited outside until our name was called. We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly our order was done. It was all packaged very well. It was a nice day so we decided to drive to a nearby park to picnic. Everything was delicious -- absolutely the best breakfast sandwiches! Super fluffy eggs and fresh ingredients, generously tucked into thick, perfectly toasted brioche. It was worth the drive. We'll be back!
google avatar

Jeff S.

Yelp
I hate you Egg Tuck! Every time I'm in Hollywood in the morning, you make me come to you and spend my money The sandwich are really good, and the one with the meat is my favorite. They are messy so be warned. Also be prepared to wait, they are always slammed and can take up to 20-30 minutes to get your food and there is not a spot to sit and eat there. Strictly take out. Oh yeah...they are opening a location in Anaheim Hills so OC people should be happy
google avatar

Aliyah C.

Yelp
Things to note: This is not a sit in restaurant, as in there are no chairs anywhere, this is a grab and go. Also, there are people behind the counter if you have a question, but you order off an iPad. This took me a second and I was standing there a little confused for a moment. Service was around ~20-25 minutes, there was a bit of a line which is probably why it took some time. The food was amazing - very large and delicious sandwich. The coffee was very good also. I had ordered a bottle of water which they forgot, but when I went back to grab it, they immediately helped me. Would come back!

Yelp
I will dream about this egg sandwich till I die. Seriously. I first saw this sandwhich watching Hopsital Playlist (kdrama) on Netflix and all I could do was dream about it. Imagine my surprise when I found out that an egg tuck is in LA. And it did not disappointment. I got the avo egg with bacon. The egg were cooked perfectly. The avocado gave it more richness and the bacon (extra addition) gave it the perfect crunch. Whatever that sauce they put? I will need a bucket of it tysm. I also got the churro chai and HOLY sweetness- but it did really taste like a churro. Anyways, I'm so very sad they don't have one in the SFV. I would be there like every weekend if not every day. Sensational breakfast sandwich that is worth the hype.
google avatar

Brittany M.

Yelp
Wow, just wow. These egg sandwiches are eggcellent! We visited friends who live in Hollywood and they suggested egg tuck for breakfast. It's a small place and take out only, you order on an iPad inside and then wait for them to call your name when your food is ready. We went around 11am on a Sunday and there was a little wait but not too long, maybe avoid 20min total from ordering and then waiting for our food. We ordered the bacon and cheese egg sandwich and tater tots. The bread of the sandwich is perfectly toasted and a little buttery tasting, then you get the soft scrambled eggs with the cheese and bacon, yummm! We did add some hot sauce when we ate it at home and that added the perfect touch. The tots had gotten a little soggy by the time we got to eat them, but put them in the air fryer and they were nice and crispy again. We also got to try the egg tots, fresh, as this was ready before the orders with sandwiches and the tots were crispy and I liked the Sriracha aioli they put on them. We also tried the burrito, but I think I prefer the sandwich. They taste as good as they look!!
google avatar

Chung W.

Yelp
I ordered the Avo egg, royal burrito, and side tots. The avocado in the avo egg was half green and half brown as you can see in the pic, so that was disgusting that they gave me old avocado hidden in the sand which; additionally the avo egg didn't have any taste, it was bland. The royal burrito wasn't any better; it was also bland and to be honest disgusting to eat. I could not finish either dishes because they were bland and gross to eat. The tots on the other hand were delicious and crispy. Will definitely not be going back. I think I will try eggslut next time.
google avatar

Emily C.

Yelp
I got a ham and cheese egg sandwich. The bread is sweet and good. The sandwich is very savory! I like it, but it's very messy because of the egg. I got this through door dash so I don't know how the place is like. I would order this again.

Yelp
This was our first time to eat at Egg Tuck and they exceeded our expectations in every way, making my wife's birthday breakfast truly special. This is not a traditional sit-down restaurant, it's more of a "grab and go" style, but the sandwiches and drinks were simply fantastic. At this location, in West Hollywood there are no inside or outside dining tables to eat at, this is a "to go" restaurant. So be prepared. We ordered using a touchscreen located on the counter as you walk in. A large menu is also located above the register, staff is there if you have any questions regarding the food, the staff were very helpful explaining the sandwiches to us. People are seen in the back busy preparing food orders. Egg Tuck, truly is a stand out breakfast restaurant providing an easy grab-and-go experience. We ordered the Sweet Egg Sandwich with smoked bacon and cheddar, as well as the Bacon and Cheese with added avocado. We also ordered cold brew, which paired perfectly with our sandwiches. This was our first time tying the sandwiches, they were very hearty and packed with flavor. The eggs were delicate, creamy, with a fluffy texture. The sandwiches were served on brioche bun, shaped like Texas Toast that are freshly made in-house daily, this added another buttery and crispy level to the sandwiches. Eggs were so creamy they fell out of the bread, while we ate them. Don't forget napkins. The eggs themselves were similar to custard, and they blended harmoniously with the bread, creating a creamy sensation with every bite. The "tucked" concept originating from Korea. Its became a trendy twist on breakfast egg sandwiches. I was told that everything is made from scratch and they only use cage-free eggs. Parking is free and in a large shared lot with other businesses, parking can be tight but there were plenty of spots to choose from. Also, be mindful of the hours 7:30am-3:30pm, not open in late afternoon or night. We had an eggcellent experience at Egg Tuck, definitely recommend it to anyone looking for delicious egg sandwiches.

Yelp
The soft scramble on the tater tots are my fave. Sophisticated eggs on a childhood favorite

Yelp
I love Egg Tuck and have been coming ever since it first opened. I'm a big fan of both the classic egg sandwich and the breakfast burrito--yum! Soft fluffy eggy goodness. The key to avoid the lines is to place your order ahead of time and then come pick it up. Egg Tuck is to go only, no dine in options. There's an ample parking lot and while you might not always be able to park right in front of the shop I've never not been able to find a space somewhere.
google avatar

Mike R.

Yelp
YUM. Delicious sandwiches, and tator tots! Highly recommend for any meal or any day, honestly. Quick to boot
google avatar

James L.

Yelp
The royal breakfast burrito is where it's at, honestly... adding Korean bbq ribs to a breakfast burrito is ingenious. Not only that, but the eggs in the burrito are soft scrambled, and add in some grilled onions *chef's kiss* this is a great breakfast burrito. They have more traditional breakfast burritos as well (eggs+bacon) if that's more your taste. The space is small and pretty much take out/pick-up only... so order online ahead via their website so you aren't waiting long and standing outside with the rest of the crowd. Enjoy!
google avatar

Eric S.

Yelp
I've had Egg Tuck twice now and it's pretty good! Have had the vegan burrito and avo egg and definitely preferred the burrito over the sandwich as it was much easier to eat. The bread of the sandwich was fabulous but fell apart with the with the soft scrambled egg and avocado. Will be back!

Zarek M.

Yelp
Way to much butter in the bread you should ask people if they want butter especially if they ordered like me with dry bread no sauce that's a big clue to not wanting butter neither so I wasted 15$ on this butter sandwich and it's worst you not using real butter so it just taste and feel like grease my hands so oily I feel like I just left the nail shop
google avatar

Jasmine S.

Yelp
The avocado and egg sandwich was incredible. The eggs were fluffy and the aioli sauce was perfect. Service was effective. My one disappointment was with the store ambiance--it was quite loud and crowded on Saturday morning. This location is a grab and go with no indoor seating. Overall I highly recommend the Egg Tuck food, but I'd rather go to the Westwood location for the seating availability.
google avatar

Michael O.

Yelp
I got the breakfast sandwich and the breakfast burrito. I like the breakfast sandwich the best.
